Abstract

This paper discusses the concept of media in Islamic da'wah. Da'wah activity is essentially a process of normative change in accordance with Islamic teachings, namely the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Da'wah is the responsibility of every Muslim regardless of his profession to be able to convey Islamic religious messages to the community. When the da'i conveys the message of da'wah, of course, it must have effective means, so that the purpose of da'wah can be understood by the mad'u community well. One of the important elements for the success of da'wah is the media of da'wah. The concept of media in da'wah has been stated in the Qur'an. The propaganda media verses in the Qur'an also always require review and reinterpretation to gain new insights. In this paper, the author uses a library research method or approach. The results of this study are the understanding of da'wah media, types of media in da'wah, and analysis of QS Ibrahim verse 4 and QS Al-An'am verse 75. Da'wah media can also develop following the current developments.

Abstract

Apparatus Gampong is a social group that functions to help meet the needs of rural communities, given the obligations and rights that have been determined by the Indonesian state. In realizing the welfare of the community, the gampong is a subsystem of government administration. There are various needs of the community that must be met by the gampong, to avoid this interaction conflict, the  gampong requires a communication system to maintain a harmonious and structured interaction. Therefore, this study aims to determine the communication management needed by the gampong apparatus in community service and the application of communication management of the gampong apparatus in community service in Samatiga District, West Aceh Regency. The research approach uses qualitative descriptive analytical methods to examine social phenomena on research subjects, namely Keuchik and the  Gampong, Tuha Peut, the people in Kuala Bubon Village, Paya Lumpat Village, and Pange Village, as well as the Samatiga Subdistrict Head in Samatiga District. Sources of data obtained through observation, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that communication management facilitates the gampong apparatus in implementing community service activities with a systematic and structured communication flow. The implementation of communication management is carried out by the gampong apparatus with the stages of planning for service activities needed by the community, then determining the implementation of activities, distributing policies for community service activities, and controlling community service activities so that communication flow is maintained in accordance with the service program design that has been formed.

Abstract

The growth of information technology provides various influences in human life, both positive and negative influences. The negative influence of technological developments will cause problems in human life. Among these negative impacts is gadget addiction for children. Parents must play an active role in limiting and protecting children from addiction. One way that parents can do is through a communication approach to children. This study aims to find out how communication between parents and children prevents gadget addiction. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study with research subjects being informants who have children aged 12-15 years. The theory in this research is the Dialogue theory from Martin Burber. The results of this study are that of the three families studied using dialogue as a form of communication within the family to prevent gadget addiction for children. these parents consider dialogue to be more effective than other forms of communication. The obstacles that occur in children are that at the beginning of the dialogue it is not easy to give understanding to children to limit gadgets, and children tend to be silent when having dialogue.Keywords: Comunication, preventing,  gadget, Dialogue, Parents

Abstract

Information openness in today's digital era allows a variety of information to be easily accessed by everyone, including children who do not yet have sufficient skills to sort through information properly. The development of a child's character is influenced by the family's treatment of him. Psychology of Communication in Islamic educational activities plays an important role to express intent with the communicant. Personnel in internal education, both educators or education staff, and students, of course, interact. The communication process that is not based on psychology, what will happen in life is disharmony or incompatibility. This research is qualitative research that describes all the data found through the literature approach. In previous research, there were several journals related to this research, some of which were about Islamic-Based Character Education through the Love of the Prophet Program for Kindergarten Children written by Iske Diana Towoliu, Sofia Hartati, Hapidin from the State University of Jakarta. The family is the smallest social system in which it can consist of father, mother, and children, each of whom has a role. Children have critical thinking about many things starting when they begin to recognize the language. The questions that come out of the mouth of a child should be answered with honest answers and can satisfy the child's heart. Moral education and honesty for a child start from the family, through parents.

Abstract

The Nahdlatul Ulama Student Association or IPNU is an organization that accommodates students under the auspices of Nahdlatul Ulma to form youth in accordance with the Islamic faith. During the COVID-19 pandemic, all human activities changed, including the organizational activities of IPNU South Jakarta. The health protocols required by the government are different from those that were used before the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze how the organizational communication process occurred at IPNU South Jakarta after the COVID-19 pandemic. The research theory is organization communication. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with interview data collection and literature study. The results showed that there were significant changes in the IPNU South Jakarta organization after the covid-19 pandemic. Communication is carried out online, the use of social media is maximized, soft skills development is carried out online, and visits to outside the region are temporarily suspended. These changes can be handled properly because of good communication management at IPNU South Jakarta so that the planned work program can run optimally.Keywords: IPNU, Covid-19, Organization communication, organizational communication

Abstract

The leadership of Sultanah Sri Ratu Safiatuddin has given birth to new values related to the presence of women in the power of the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam. Through his policies, he has contributed greatly to a new perspective in the political history of Aceh. His collaborative policies have provided opportunities for everyone to be involved in the Aceh Darussalam government system regardless of background, especially gender. This paper attempts to unravel and analyze Ratu Safiatuddin's pattern of political communication regarding his policies that led to the trust of the Acehnese people at that time to be led. Among them include policies in the field of science and knowledge, strengthening the law, freedom of opinion, and gender equality. The results of this study show that through this policy the Queen can survive in a span of 35 years and even continues with three queens' leadership in the next period. Ratu has contributed new ideas for the fulfillment of the value of the existence of Islam and science.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the messages in the animated film Zootopia. Film as a product of mass media, contains the message that the maker wants to convey. However, not a few film connoisseurs are immersed in the story and visuals that are presented, so they ignore the message that is full of meaning in it. For this reason, this research was conducted to analyze the messages contained in this film. This study uses qualitative methods, with a semiotic analysis approach. The results of the research show that this film contains satirical messages on government bureaucracy.

Abstract

Students in the high school equivalency program have their own uniqueness including: age, marital status, and socioeconomic status. They have experienced dropout and have not carried out learning activities for a long time. During the COVID 19 pandemic, most of the learning process takes place online, which is not easy for them. The research entitled "Instructional Communication in the High School Equivalency Program" intends to find out how the instructional communication model between tutors and students of the high school equivalency program in PKBM Patrakomala Bandung. The purpose was to analyze the interaction between tutors and students, the application of learning methods, the use of media, and the obstacles faced in the instructional communication process. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. This study also uses constructivism theory from Jesse Delia. The results show that offline interactions are transactional, while online interactions are interactional. The learning methods used are: independent learning methods, assignments, lectures, and questions and answers. Tutors have full authority to determine the learning method to be used. The media used are seTARA Daring and WhatsApp groups. The obstacles encountered come from personal and situational variables of the students.

Abstract

The development of da'wah is increasing, including in South Sulawesi, especially Bulukumba. One of the pioneering da'wah organizations in Bulukumba is the Bulukumba Da'i Muda Council (MDM). Historically, MDM was founded on the desire and belief of the young preachers of Bulukumba to spread Islamic da'wah to all circles in South Sulawesi. There are 3 main targets of MDM in preaching: mothers, street youth and people with disabilities. This article is examined using several concepts, namely identity negotiation and expressing Islam. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with research informants. The da'wah movement carried out by the Bulukumba Da'I Council (MDM) is inseparable from the portrait of contemporary issues, making youth and disabilities the primary targets for preaching. Da'wah activities among disabled people in South Sulawesi are new da'wah activities. MDM is a pioneer organization in this da'wah. The approach used in preaching is motivational and economical. In contrast, a dynamic approach is used among youths, namely, getting into the youth's habits, such as hanging out on beaches and cafes. These da'wah activities use thematic methods by raising material ranging from the Fiqhi of Worship to studying the interpretation of the Koran.

Abstract

A spiritual servant of Allah will become quiet souls by integrating SQ in his Nafs as the existence of divine light that is embedded in his Soft Heart, this will be realized by the existence of IQ awareness, while EQ awareness is a link between IQ and SQ. This study uses a qualitative method approach, with discourse analysis techniques and text interpretation. This method analyzes the process of a meaning contained behind the information contained in the Koran. The verses that explain the existence of IESQ in Nafs are found in [QS. Al-Qiyamah: 2], [QS. Al-Fajr: 27-28], [QS. ar-Ra'd:28], [QS. al-Jatsiyah: 5] and [HR. Muslim]. while the verses explaining the integration of the IESQ through the Quranic Communication Psychology process are contained in [QS. An-Nisa: 9], [QS. Al-Ahzab: 32], [QS. An-Nisa: 63], [QS. Al Isra': 23], [QS. Thaha: 43-44] and [QS. Al Isra': 28]. The results of the analysis of these verses are that Nafs is a container for sharing information and knowledge that has the characteristics of Resentment, Despicable and Peaceful. 'Aqal is the potential of the soul that has the ability to process information so that it becomes knowledge.
