Jurnal Bahana Manajemen Pendidikan (JBMP) is a scientific journal in the field of Management and Education. This journal is published twice editions published a year. JBMP published by Educational Adminstration, Faculty of Educational Science at Padang State University collaboration with Ikatan Sarjana Administrasi Pendidikan (ISMAPI) , in print and online with (ISSN: 2614-6576, e-ISSN: 2614-6967 ). The aim of this journal is to publish articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding developments in the fields of educational management in all settings. The scope of this journal encompasses educational planning, educational management, educational supervision, human resource management, organizational communication, public relations, leadership, education, and teaching and learning.; Education (teaching, development, instruction, educational projects and innovations, learning methodologies and new technologies in education and learning, assessment). It was first published in 2013.

Abstract

The result of Informal talk with principal and some teacher in elementary school in tanjung harapan solok city on 18-24 april 2015, show indication that theacher’s creativity to do task and learning process not maximal yet. It is caused not condusif yet This study aims to view its work climate contribute significantly to the creativity of teachers. Population of teachers of 240 people and 82 samples were taken with the Proportional stratified random sampling technique. tested questionnaire to 15 respondents. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire form which has been in testing the validity and reliable. Data analysis show 1) creativity of teacher the elementary school in Tanjung Harapan Solok city in the category higth (81,03%) of the ideal score, 2) work iclimate in the elementary school in Tanjung Harpan Solok city in the category good (83,66%) of the ideal score, 3) great contribution of variable work climate of the creativity teacher's task is r2 0,162 = 1,62%, This means that the working climate affects teachers creativity 16,2 %.Kata kunci: iklim kerja dan kreativitas guru

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know about the founding of students at faculty of aducation state university of Padang. The type of research is descriptive quantity research. The population are 941 students and the sample are 98 students. Sampling technique using probability random sampling technique. The research instrumen was a questionnaire likert scale models that have been tested for validity and reliability. In general, the result of this research is the founding of students at  faculty of aducation state university of Padang is the good category  with an average score of 3,6. So it can be said that the founding of students is good.

Abstract

The background of this study was the observation of the writer in Business ManagementSMK Padang which showed the performance of teachers is still less in line with expectations in the school. The researcher assumed that it wasrelated to servant leadership of the headmaster which is poor. This study was aimed to obtain information about the servant leadership of the headmaster and teacher performance in Management Business SMK Padang as well as determine the contribution of servant leadership of the headmastertowards teacher performance. This study was a correlational studydescribing the relationship between servant leadership of the headmasterand teacher performance in Management Business SMK Padang. The population of this study was all teachers in Management Business SMK Padang consist of158 people. The samples were56 people who wereselected by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used for this study was tested by using Likert Scale questionnaire models. The questionnaire was tested to 10 respondents who were not the samples of this study to measure the validity and reliability of the questionnaire. The hyphothesis was tested by using Simple Regression analysis, Product Moment formula, r test and t test, while r2 was used to see the contribution of the headmaster leadership towards teachers’ performance. The findings of this study showed that the servant leadership was Good in category and the teacher performance was Good. The contribution of the servant leadership of the headmaster towards teachers’ performance was 29,16 %, while the other 70,84% was affected by other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide information about the use of information systems in an organization. The development of science and information technology has indirectly changed the point of view and lifestyle of the people in carrying out their activities, one of which is the organization. Moreover, these organizations are large organizations such as M organizations, which have developed and have representation in all regions in Indonesia. Improving the performance of organizations in the future requires an information system and information technology. management information system is an information system designed to provide complete data as a basis for decision making in managerial activities. The use of management information systems in organization M has been applied well and maximally. The use of management information systems in M organizations has embodied a culture of collaboration within the organization. The management information system in organization M has become the foundation for leadership in taking policies / decisions.

Abstract

This article aims to obtain information about the perception of teachers on the controlling of teachers task implementation by principals at SMK N  Kecamatan Lubuk Basung. This is a descriptive research with a population 150 people. The research sample is determined using proportional random sampling technique which numbered 45 people. The research instrument was questionnaire in the form of Likert Scale, which has proven its validity and reliability. Research data processing performed by using the average formula (mean). In general, the result of the research is the perception of teachers on the controlling of teachers task implementation by principals at SMK N Kecamatan Lubuk Basung is good with an totality score 3,75.Keyword: controlling, task implementation

Abstract

This research describes the relationship between a work placement and the commitment of employee in PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II Teluk Bayur Padang branch. The population in this research were all employees of the PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II Teluk Bayur Padang branch, they were 103 employees. The number of samples were 47 people, taken by using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire in Likert scale model that had been tested for validity and realibility. Based on the research, a work placement of employees are in the right category of 85,33 % and the commitment of employee in the high category in the amount of 87,04%. There is a significant relationship between a work placement with the commitment of employee in PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II Teluk Bayur Padang branch with a correlation coefficient calculated = 0,41 > r table = 0,288 at the level of 95% and t = 3,05 > t tabel = 2,021 at the level of 95 %.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain information about student discipline development by teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Gunung Tuleh, West Pasaman Regency as seen from 1) student disciplinary guidance by teachers through discipline, 2) student discipline development by teachers through exemplary governance, 3) coaching student discipline by the teacher through guidance, 4) student discipline development by the teacher through punishment, 5) student discipline development by the teacher through supervision.This study was a descriptive study. The total population in this study was 236 people. Samples were taken with Simple Random Samplingtechniquewith 70 people. The data collection tool used is a Likert scale model questionnaire with 5 alternative answers Questionnaires have been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the average formula.The results of the study show that: 1) student discipline development by teachers through discipline is stated to be good with an average score of 3.69, 2) student discipline development by teachers through exemplary governance is stated to be quite good with an average score of 3.52, 3) student disciplinary guidance by the teacher through guidance expressed either with an average score of 3.65, 4) student discipline development by the teacher through punishment expressed both with an average score of 3.75, 5) student discipline development by the teacher through supervision expressed well with an average score 3.75. Overall, Student Discipline Development by Teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Gunung Tuleh, West Pasaman Regency is 3, 76 in the good category. This indicates that the discipline of student discipline by teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Gunung Tuleh, West Pasaman Regency is good, but it still needs to be maintained and improved again so that it increases in the excellent category.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to gather information about (1) planning (2) organizing (3) actuating (4) controlling of public relations. The population are 57 and sample are 37 elementary school headmasters in Kecamatan Koto Tangah. The instrument of this research is questioner using Likert scale models that have been tested. The data analyze trough average score. The result of this research show that management of public relations of the elementary school in Koto Tangah, Padang is good with overall score 4,07.

Abstract

This article aims to obtain information about the perception of student toward teacher comunication skills in the study . This is a descriptive research with a population 94 people. The research sample is determined look at table Krejcie 76 people. The research instrument was questionnaire in the form of Likert Scale, which has proven its validity and reliability. Research data processing performed by using the average formula (mean). In general, the result of the research is the perception of student toward teacher comunications skills in the study is good with an average score 3,9.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was look information about the teacher perception of managerial competence head master in managing teacher onprivate senior hight school western Padang district. This is a descriptive research. The population is 328teachers and research sample is 71 teachers that taken by cluster random sampling and stratified propotional random sampling.The instrument of this research was a questionnaire with Likert scale models that had tested for validity and reliability. Data analyzed using the average (mean)formula. The resultsof this research show teachers perception of managerial competence head master in managing theacher on private senior hight school (SMAS) western Padang districtin Padang city stay in  good category with an average score 4,17 become 83,38 percent.Keywords: Perception, managerial competence
