Jurnal Bahana Manajemen Pendidikan (JBMP) is a scientific journal in the field of Management and Education. This journal is published twice editions published a year. JBMP published by Educational Adminstration, Faculty of Educational Science at Padang State University collaboration with Ikatan Sarjana Administrasi Pendidikan (ISMAPI) , in print and online with (ISSN: 2614-6576, e-ISSN: 2614-6967 ). The aim of this journal is to publish articles dedicated to all aspects of the latest outstanding developments in the fields of educational management in all settings. The scope of this journal encompasses educational planning, educational management, educational supervision, human resource management, organizational communication, public relations, leadership, education, and teaching and learning.; Education (teaching, development, instruction, educational projects and innovations, learning methodologies and new technologies in education and learning, assessment). It was first published in 2013.

Abstract

The goal of this research are to see information about the headmaster perception about preparation of school development plans. The population is 33 headmaster and the sample is all of the population. The instrument of this research is question with Likert scale models that had tested for validity and reliability. Data analyzed using mean score and performance level. The result of this research are the headmaster perception about preparation of school development plans of elementary School Subdistrict East  Padang  of Padang City.

Abstract

The study aims to determine how the student’s perception of Social Competence of Teachers at the senior   high school (SMA) 8 Padang views of skills in communication with students using communication and information technology, interact effectively with student, teachers and parent’s students andinteract politely with people.This is a descriptive study, the study population was all students of SMA Negeri 8 Pariaman with a sample of 791 people drawn from 10% of the population using  stratified random sampling techniques. Data collection tools used were Linkert Scale questionnaire. The data were analyzed with the average formula (mean). The results showed student's perception of social competence of teachers at the senior high school (SMA) 8 Padang views of skills in communication, using communication and information technology, interact effectively, in the category able with an average score of 4,16. Keywords: Social Competence of Teachers

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang bagaimana persepsi guru terhadap pelaksanaan supervisi oleh pengawas SMK Negeri di Kecamatan Lubuk Basung Kabupaten Agam dilihat dari persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut pelaksanaan supervisi. Populasi penelitian adalah guru SMK Negeri di Kecamatan Lubuk Basung Kabupaten Agam yang berjumlah 150 orang, penarikan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik proporsional random sampling untuk sejumlah 75 orang. Data di ambil dengan menggunakan angket. Adapun hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata untuk indikator persiapan supervisi (3,3) pelaksanan supervisi (3,4) evaluasi pelaksanaan supervisi (3,5) dan  tindak lanjut pelaksanaan supervisi (3,4) dengan rata-rata keseluruhan (3,4). Hal ini menandakan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi oleh pengawas SMK Negeri di Kecamatan Lubuk Basung Kabupaten Agam masih dalam kategori cukup baik sehingga perlu di lakukan langkah-langkah untuk membuat menjadi lebih optimal.Kata Kunci : Pelaksanaan supervisi oleh pengawas

Abstract

This research is motivated from observations of the author in Dinas Sosial dan Tenaga Kerja Kota Padang.which shows lack of good leadership style direct supervisor at the Dinas Sosial dan Tenaga Kerja Kota Padang. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about employees on leadership styles Perspsi Direct Supervisors at the Dinas Sosial dan Tenaga Kerja Kota Padang: 1) Implementation of tasks by giving instructions to subordinates, carrying out surveillance, giving confidence to the employee in performing its duties and focusing attention on the implementation of tasks, 2) The relationship of humanity with the way the leadership to motivate employees to work, leadership involves employees in decision and leadership to develop family relationships. Research question posed is how the employee perception of leadership style direct supervisor at the Dinas Sosial dan Tenaga Kerja Kota Padang Oriented tasks and human relations.

Abstract

In order to enhance the students' learning activities on thematic learning at SDN 36 Cengkeh, Padang. Classroom action research conducted. Objectives to be achieved by the researchers is to increase the activity of teachers and students during the learning takes place by using the Matrix Model VCT approach. This study consisted of two cycles with data analysis techniques qualitative and quantitative descriptive implemented through three stages: planning, action and observation, reflection. The data collection was assisted by VB classroom teachers using teacher and student activity sheets. The results showed that the activity of teachers increased by 6% from 78% in the first cycle to 84% in the second cycle. While the student activity increased by 9% from 75% in the first cycle to 84% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The writing is on the background backs by the lack of effective discipline that is given by the leadership in the organization. This research aims to obtain information about: (1) It still looks employees who came late to the office. Hours to come to work at 08.00 am while employees there who came at 08.30 pm even at 09.00 am. (2) The responsibility that is less than employees in doing the work that has been given. (3) It still looks employees are less adherent to regulatory agency that is not visible from the work accomplished in accordance with the predetermined targets. (4) It still looks employees who come into the office just took a hiatus.Efforts in improving labor discipline are: (1) Negative Approach, (2) Positive Approach, (3) Disciplining Yourself, (4) Creating a safe atmosphere and (5) Providing Penalties such light sentences and penalties were severe penalties.Key word : Work Disipline

Abstract

The purpose of this study to obtain information about interpersonal communication, commitment, interpersonal communication and influence on the commitment of employee in the Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Sumatera Barat. The hypothesis of this study is communicates interpersonal significantly influence employee commitment. The study population was all employees who work the Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Sumatera Barat amounted to amounted to 230 people with a sample of 38 people using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire that has been in testing the validity and reliability. In general, the data analysis showed (1) an employee interpersonal communication that are in both categories, namely 87.16% (2) the commitment of employees working at the high category is 87.44%, (3) there is a significant effect of variable x to variable y ie 19.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between work motivation and the performance of kindergarten teachers in Padang Utara District, Padang City. The hypothesis in this study proposed is that there is a meaningful relationship between work motivation and the performance of kindergarten teachers in Padang Utara District,Padang City. This type of research correlational with a kuantatif approach,which describes the relationshipof work motivation with the performance of kindergarten teachers in Padang Utara District, Padang City. The population in this study, with 82 teacher  who taught in kindergarten in Padang Utara Subdistrict,Padang City,and were sampled in this study,with 43 people taken using the stratified Proposional Random Sampling techninque. The instruments in this study are likert scale model questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reability and the result are valid and reabel. Data were analyzed using Produt Moment correlation formula with SPPS version 17. Based on data analysis,the coefficient of determination of work motivation was obtained at 0,512. The correlation coefficient between work motivation and the performance of kindergarten teachers is 0,715.This means that motivation is 71,5% towards the performance of significant 5% kindergarten teachers. Based of these data it can be concluded work motivation has a positive relationship with the performance of  kindergarten teacher in Padang Utara District,Padang City.

Abstract

This article describe result of research about teachers perception of the social competence of Head Master of SMK Negeri in Pariaman. The population of this research are 292 civil service teachers and 73 civil service teachers were taken as a sample.Sampling technics were using is Proportional Random Sampling with cochran formula. The instrument used in this research is questionnaire and analyzed by average. In general, the result of this research is teachers perception of the social competence of Head of State Vocational High School in Pariaman City have is good enough at 3,51.Key Words :Social Competence, Head Master, Teachers
