Abstract

The success of an educational institution is highly dependent on the contribution and the role of a leader, who then commonly called the principal who should be able to bring its institutions towards achieving the goals set, able to see the changes and be able to see the future in globalization that is now significantly better life.The problem of this research is how the leadership's effect in improving the quality of mathematics education and how the principal's role in improving the quality of mathematics education at SMPN 1 Kembang Tanjong. The objective of this research is to measure and analyze the effect of principal’ leardership in improving the quality of mathematics education and the role of principal’s leadership in improving the quality of mathematics education. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method, in which the writer describes how the effects of principal in improving the quality of Islamic education at SMPN 1 Kembang Tanjong. The sample of this research is one principals, one vice principal, three teachers, two student, one society and one committee with technique of documentation, observation, and interviews with principals and teachers. The data analysis was done by means of: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how much influence educational background and work experience have on the work ethic of employees at PT. Timbang Deli Indonesia, and also what factors support the improvement of employee work ethics in addition to educational background and work experience. This study took samples from employees of PT. Timbang Deli Indonesia, which predominantly were high school graduated with age between 28-37 years, as many as 139 people. Primary data obtained from the questionnaire that has been filled in by employees of PT. Timbang Deli Indonesia were used as the sample in this study. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables, namely educational background (X1) and work experience (X2), have a positive and significant effect on the work ethic of employees at PT. Timbang Deli Indonesia. Moreover, from the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it can be concluded that (1) the educational background variable has a positive and significant effect on the work ethic variable, with β coefficient of educational background is negative at 6,033> 1,977, (2) the work experience variable has a positive and significant effect on the work ethic variable, with positive coefficient β value 3.067> 1.977, and (3) together these showed that the educational background and work experience variables significantly influence the work ethic variable of the employees of PT. Timbang Deli Indonesia with a F value of 49.527 and a significance level of 0.000.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of human resource quality and work professionalism on employee performance at PT. Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk Lubuk Pakam. This type of research is quantitative which is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The sample used in this study were employees - employees of PT. Salim Ivomas Pratama Lubuk Pakam numbered 80 people from a total population of 400 people. Based on the data analysis conducted, the results show that the quality of human resources (X1) and work professionalism (X2) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y) at PT.Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk Lubuk Pakam.

Abstract

The dynamic world of work conditions is influenced by various economic factors, technology and market demand. Higher education is a sub system that prepares graduates to enter the world of work, because of that, universities must pay attention to the content of soft skills attributes in the learning process from an early age. Without it, universities will only produce academically intelligent graduates who are easy to find work but do not survive in the world of work. This research is a study on the influence of soft skills on the work readiness of final semester management students of STMIK Pelita Nusantara. The respondents used were 100 students with accidental sampling technique using a questionnaire. Sample testing is done by simple regression test and the results obtained show that there is a significant influence between soft skills and student work readiness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of education and job training on increasing employee productivity, either partially or simultaneously. The approach used in this research is an associative approach. The population in this study were all employees at PT. Sagami Indonesia. The sample in this study using the Slovin formula totaling 92 employees of PT. Sagami Indonesia. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques, documentation study, observation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study used the Multiple Liner Regression Analysis Test, Hypothesis Test (t test and F test), and the Coefficient of Determination. Data processing in this study used the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciens) software program version 24.00. The results of this study prove that partially and simultaneously education and job training have an effect on increasing the work productivity of employees at PT. Sagami Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the price and quality of products on purchasing decisions (Case Study at Indomaret Gerai, Jalan Industri Cabang Medan). The results of the study in an Adjust R Square value of 0.500 indicated that the contribution of the influence of price and product quality variables on consumer decisions to shop was 50%, while the remaining 50% was influenced by other variables not included in this research model. The results of research hypothesis testing using partial test (t test) found that the price variable has a significance of (0.000 <0.05) so there is a positive and significant influence on consumer decisions to shop at Indomaret Gerai Jln. Medan Branch Industry. The product quality variable has a significance of (0.000 <0. 05) so there is a positive and significant effect on product quality on consumer decisions to shop at Indomaret outlets Jln. Medan Branch Industry. Simultaneous test results (Test F) found that the significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so there is a positive and significant effect of price and product quality simultaneously on purchasing decisions at Gerai Indomaret Jln. Medan Branch Industry

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Deli Serdang Public Works Department. The research objective was to determine the effect provided by the service on the performance of employees at the Public Works Agency (PU) Deli Serdang. This type of research uses correlational research, the study population is 285 employees who work at the Public Works Office (PU) Deli Serdang and the sample collection using the Slovin formula as many as 74 respondents. Sources of data using primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques using literature study, questionnaires and observations. The data analysis technique used validity and reliability tests, simple linear regression, classical assumption tests and hypothesis testing. Based on the research results indicate that partially service has a positive and significant effect on employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Alpha EMS (Enterprise Management Solution) Medan. The population used in this study were all employees at PT. Alpha EMS (Enterprise Management Solution) Medan Branch, and the sample used in this study were all employees at PT. Alpha EMS (Enterprise Management Solution) Medan Branch, amounting to 56 people. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire. This type of research is a type of associative research. The variables in this study are leadership style (X1), work motivation (X2), and employee performance (Y). The analysis technique used in this research is Multiple Linear Analysis, namely: Y – 4,243 + 0,472X1 + 0,359X2. And the hypothesis test used is the F test (simultaneous) of Fcount 10,850 > Ftable 3,170 and the ttest (partial) on the leadership style variable is 3,723 ≥ ttable 2,004, the t-test value on the work motivation variable is 2,712 ≥ ttable 2,004. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables, namely Leadership Style (X1), and Work Motivation (X2), have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. Alpha EMS (Enterprise Management Solution) Medan Branch. The results of this study also indicate that the dominant variables affect the performance of employees at PT. Alpha EMS (Enterprise Management Solution) Medan Branch is a leadership style (X1).

Abstract

When preparing an effective marketing strategy, a bank must consider its competitors as well as its customers. Establishing a mutual relationship with customers requires a better means of satisfying customer needs than the competitors. Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) should always analyze their competitors and develop marketing strategies that effectively give the company a good position compared to the competitors and provide a competitive advantage as strong as possible. This research was conducted using a quantitative method. The design was categorized as causal relationship research. The data were then analyzed using the path analysis. Findings of the research showed that customer satisfaction, service quality, and customer loyalty affected the competitive advantage of Sentra Batik Pamekasan. The effect of customer loyalty on the competitive advantage could be observed from the number of Sentra Batik Pamekasan’s customers who decided not to move to other financial institutions (banks). When the company could give better service quality, the customer loyalty and the competitive advantage among financial institutions would get higher.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fundamental analysis consisting of price earning ratio, net profit margin, price to book value, return on equity, debt to equity ratio, and dividend payout ratio on stock returns on blue chips on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method used is multiple linear regression analysis method, and hypothesis testing is done by testing the significance of the effect simultaneously (simultaneously) using the F-test and testing the significance of the partial effect using the t-test. This study uses secondary data in the form of financial statements of companies listed in blue chips on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2005–2007. The results showed that simultaneously (simultaneously) operational effectiveness (price earning ratio, net profit margin, price to book value, return on equity, debt to equity ratio, and dividend payout ratio) have a significant effect on stock returns. Partially there is a negative and significant effect between the price earning ratio on stock returns. Partially there is no significant effect between net profit margin on stock returns. Partially there is no significant effect between price to book value on stock returns. Partially there is a positive and significant effect between return on equity on stock returns. Partially there is a positive and significant effect between debt to equity ratio on stock returns. Partially there is a positive and significant effect between the dividend payout ratio on stock returns.
