Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

Abstract This article aimed to describe the function of Silek in ManjalangNinik Mamak ceremony in Sialang, Kapur IX,50 Kota,West Sumatera. This was a qualitative research that was used descriptive method. The object of the research was Silek. The data was collected through observation, interview and documentation. The data was analyzed by classifying the collected data which was match with the conceptual. The result of the research revealed that Silek had a function as a main of traditional ceremony and entertainment. As a main of traditional ceremony, Silek was done before Ninik Mamak entering the ceremony place. On the other hand, Silek also was enjoyed by pesilat and the audients. Kata kunci: fungsi, silek, upacara adat.

Abstract

Abstract This article aimed at describing the function of “ sirih” in “ Makan Sirih” dance in Tanjung Batu, Kundur, Karimun, Riau. This dance is used by Riau civilians to welcome the guest. It is usally performed in official events. The data used in this research was descriptive qualitative analysis. The instrument of this research was the researcher accompanied by any tools, camera, and recorder. The technique of data collection used through literature study, interview and observation. The result showed that the performed of “Makan Sirih” dance in the guest was as social and cultural function. The social function of “sirih” is to describe the interaction between the civilians and the guest. The cultural function of “ sirih “ is as the custom of society to respect and appreciate the guests.   Kata Kunci : Tari Makan Sirih, Makna.

Abstract

Abstract This music work is an innovative art taken from Pado-pado rhytm in Saluang Pauah show. This music work was was arranged based on the consept of the rhytm and melody combination of any traditional music tools (Saluang Pauah, talempong, canang, adok, djembe) and modern ones (Bass, electric guitar, piano, percussion set, conga, violin, viola and cello). Technically, the melody of Pado-pado is used as the main melody which was further developed into three compositions. Kata Kunci: Karya Seni, Gurau, Pauah, Saluang Pauah

Abstract

Abstract   The research was about the implementation of extracurricular activities at SMP N 1 Payakumbuh. The problem in the research was the fact thet students’ achievements in their curricular and in their extracurricular activities were unbalance. The research aimed at describing the implementation of extracurricular activities at SMP N 1 Payakumbuh. The design of the research was qualitative using descriptive analysis method. Students’ achievement in extracurricular activities was an efford done to maintain the good reputation of the school. Yet, there were problem faced by the students such as the decreasing of the result in few subjects. Thus, it was concluded that extracurricular activities at SMP N 1 Payakumbuh was demanded as one school with a good reputation.   Keyword: implementation, extracurricular, reputation, Payakumbuh

Abstract

Abstract   The aim of this study was to figure out the correlation between the music with the dance in Tari Piriang Rantak Tapi show. This was a qualitative research which used content analysis approach. The data was collected through library study, observation and interview. The data then was classified into primary and secondary data. The result of the research revealed that there was a very significant correlation between the music and the dance in Tari Piriang Rantak Tapi show. Each of them affected to each other so that they became a unity. The music accompanied the dance in accordance with the structur of the dance. It also created a harmonic atmosphere which support the dance show. In counting the beats or rhythmic of the music and dance, it was clearly that the beats were one times eight which was similar to the strains of the music using 4/4 of birama symbol. As a whole, it has 11 kinds of movements. Keyword : Tari Piriang Rantak Tapi, Relation, Music, and Dance

Abstract

Abstract This article was intented to reveal the endeavors to promote Mancak Padang dance in Nagari Pauh IX Kecamatan Kuranji Kota Padang . This was a qualitative research wich used descriptive method. The data was collected through observation, interview, dokumentation and library study. The result of the research showed that the efforts done to develop the dance could  be  seen  from the number of people perfoemed it by increasing the number of the dancers, training the young generation about Mancak Padang dance. The first training was conducted on November 30th, 2013 in which the number of the dancers were 10 people. The second one was carried out on Desember 7th, 2013 in which the number of the number of the dancers were 11, and in the third trining wich was done on December 14,15 dancers were trained. Abstract

Abstract This piece of music was created as the response to the phenomena of moral and ethics change of Minangkabau people through voice media. This was done by considering the concept of producing rhythm and melody which were expressed in several expression media wich then interpreted the meaning of Bakodek Jo nan Singkek. Abstract

Abstract This a article was intended to reveal the phenomena of Islamidar in the traditional music art in West Sumatera including him ideas, creativity and him contribution toward the development of Minagkabau traditional music in West Sumatera. This was a qualitative research which used Biography method. The data was gotten through interview, direct observation and documentation. The instruments of the research were the researcher herself, note-book, recorder and audio visual media. The data gathered then was analyzed by using ethnography data analysis technique. The research findings revealed that Islamidar had a talent in music since he was a child. He learned music in the age of 5, and when he was 16, he had become a great Talempong player. He had arranged a practical scale of Talempong to accompany a song or a dance. With him creativity, Islamidar had created more popular technique of playing Talempong, music for accompanying dance and arrangement of Talempong beats. Furthermore, Islamidar had a contribution in popularizing Talempong musical instruments so that there was an increasing interest among the society and artists either in or out of country. At last, the composition of Talempong had become a Talempong orchestra recently. Kata Kunci: Islamidar, Musik Talempong, dan Tangga Nada Talempong

Abstract

Abstract The article was aimed at raveling the function of Dikia Rapano in Moanta Marapole during a wedding reception at Nagari Ujung Gading Lembah Melintang Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. The design of the research was qualitative using descriptive method. The data were obtained through library research, observation, interview and documentation. The data was analyzed by classifying and arranged them systematically. The research findings showed that the music instrument Dikia Rapano was used in Moanta Marapole during a wedding reception, that was when the groom wore the traditional wedding dress, led to the bride house in the wedding procession, and then both of the bride and the groom went around the neighborhood. The functions of Dikia Rapano were (1) as an entertainment (2) as a media for communication (3) as a physical respond and (4) as a media of certain ceremony.   Kata kunci: Fungsi, Musik, Dikia, Rapano

Abstract

Abstract   This research was aimed at describing the extracurricular activities of music at SMA PGRI 2 Padang. This was descriptive research whuch used qualitative approach. The result of the research indicated that the extracurricular activities of music were designed based on the goals to be achieved. Encouranging the students to be creative and have skills in music by teaching the basic technique of playing music were the preliminary efforts done by the teacher. In this phase the teacher also trained the students to play particular music individually. The activities started from teaching the students to play rhythm guitar. Melodic guitar, bass, drum, vocal and the basic technique of playing traditional music instuments such as talempong, gendang tambua and sarunai.   Kata kunci : Kegiatan, Ekstrakurikuler, Musik
