Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to describe the performance of Putri Berhias dance in Lubuk linggau city, since Putri Berhias dance is a traditional dance which has not been researched as well as its documentation data. With the presence of  documentation of Putri Berhias dance into a form of writing, it is expected that the dance still preserved as cultural identity and the identity of Lubuk linggau city. Data obtained from the results of documents study, observation, interview and documentation. In this study, the researcher used triangulation to valid the data, that was a kind of technique which utilized something else.The research showed that the performance of Putri Berhias dance in Lubuklinggau city was in the form of purely representational. Its form  included elements or main element and supporting dance. Those elements were the motions of Putri Berhiasdance  which consists of thirteen kinds of motion maknawi. The design of the floor with  pattern of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Music design composed of traditional instruments, accordion, Melayu drums, rebana, and tambourine. Make up used is beautiful. Costumes worn were baju kurung, songket limas, and kebo munggah necklace, kembang murai , kano bracelet, lotus, earrings, gandik pilis, pending, and cempako. Putri Berhias dance used selendang as property. It could be performed on the proscenium stage and open areas.Key words: Dance performance, Putri Berhias

Abstract

Abstract This article aimed to: 1) describe and analyze the cultivation of character values in the learning of art and culture (music), 2) obstacles faced by teachers, 3) the efforts of teachers in facing the constraints of the character values in the learning of Cultural Arts (Music). The type of the research was a qualitative research with descriptive method. The objects of research were the students of class VII-4 and art and culture teacher of SMP Negeri 22 Padang. Instruments in this study were researcher and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationeries and camera photo. Data collection techniques of this research were literature study, interview, observation and documentation. The results showed that embedded values of character in the learning of art and culture, especially music in class VII.4, and a good impact in music art learning. The statement was evidenced by students able to have the character of cooperating, disciplined, religious, curiosity, and confidence. These character values were inherent in the learning objectives in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Keywords: Values of character, Learning, Cultural Art

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to describe and express the improvement of male student study result of dance at XI IPS 1 class in SMA Negeri 12 Padang by using Audiovisual Medium. Kind of the study was a study of class action (PTK). Instrument of the study was a researcher and assisted by observer namely colleague and it was also supported by other tools such as laptop, speaker, music, video and audiovisual (VCD). Technique of data collection was done by using library research, observation, action and taking documentation. The result of study showed that the use of audiovisual medium in art and culture learning especially in dancing at XI IPS 1 class in SMA Negeri 12 Padang could improve the study result and it was able to allow students to involve in learning of the dance subject directly. In the first of cognitive meeting cycle, the avarage score was 56,76%, meanwhile in the first of psychoomotor meeting cycle,  the avarage score was 59,12% and in the second of cognitive meeting cycle, the avarage score was 83,82%, meanwhile in the second of psychoomotor meeting cycle, the avarage score was pertemuan 83,24%. So, it could be seen that there was improvement of the study result of dance learning by using audiovisual medium and the achieved target had been suceed. Keywords: Improvement, Study Result, Audiovisual Medium, Dance

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to describe the implementation of guided training on unisono choir extracurricular activities at SMK Negeri 3 Padang. This research was a qualitative research with descriptive analysis approach. The unisono choir extracurricular activities program with guided training are as follows: the teacher's first meeting explained the material about the choir and some choir concepts. In the second meeting, the teachers taught basic choir techniques exercises. At the third meeting, the teachers taught reading Indonesia Raya numeric notation by applying the techniques which were already learned previously. In the fourth meeting, teachers taught reading the lyrics of Indonesia Raya song. Then the fifth meeting was a combined performance. From the result of the research, it is found that the extracurricular activities of the choir at SMK Negeri 3 Padang with the implementation of guided training included sound production was more stable; when voicing intonation, either rhythmically or melody is appropriate. Students sang the phrase or sentence of the song (lyrics) has been good. The lyrical messages of the song were delivered or sung in clear, and the expression is much better. The technique used has begun perfectly because, in every meeting, the students were always practising the material that has been taught in the last week so that the ability of the sound more harmonious. Assessment techniques are performed.  Indicator assessed or which need to be improved is in terms of sound, harmonization and technique in singing. Keywords: Guided Exercise, Choir

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to reveal and describe the choreography of Piriang Batoghang dance in the dance class of Kajang Lako, Nagari Koto Baru Dharmasraya regency. This research was qualitative research with descriptive method. The object of this research was Piriang Batoghang dance in the dance class of Kajang Lako, Nagari Koto Baru, Dharmasraya regency. The instrument in this study was the researcher itself, and the types of data were primary and secondary data. The technique of data collection was done by documents study, observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that the form of the choreography of Piriang Batoghang dance was in the form of group choreography pattern and it used composition of large groups. This was a kind of dance that prioritized cooperation and raised the idea of Koto Baru’s community who generally work as farmers and  solid when they work. Piriang Batoghang dance used floor patterns, the design of straight and curved lines. Piriang Batoghang dance has 10 top designs namely flat, within, vertical, horizontal, contrast, pure, static, straight, curved, and angles designs. The dance costumes were inspired from daily costume of society who goes to rice fields to harvest rice which  have been modified. Keywords: Piriang Batoghang Dance

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to find out the results of increased student learning Class VII. 6 through direct instruction model on the subjects of art and culture (music) in SMP Negeri 13 Padang. The type of research was classroom action research. Classroom action research procedure consisted of four stages, they were planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Techniques of data collection were done by literature study, observation, test and documentation. The results showed that the application of direct learning model in the learning of art and culture (music) was very effective in improving student learning outcomes. From the learning process of student activity on cycle 1, it was found that the average of overall score of 1, 2 and 3 was 52%. While in cycle 2, the overall average score of meetings 1, 2 and 3 was 81%, the average student learning outcomes increased significantly from cycle 1 to cycle 2 with very good criteria. Judging from the data of the students' learning outcomes both written test and practice ability in the average pre cycle value 68 that increased in cycle 1 with the average value of 80 and cycle 2 with an average value of 85.3. Seen in the results of students' ability to practice improvement in each cycle that was in pre cycle had only has average score  67, cycle 1 with the average value of 80.3 and cycle 2 with an average value of 85. Keywords:                 Results of the Study, Direct Instruction Model, Cultural Art (Music),

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to describe the implementation of learning ensamble music at 7th grade in MTs Lubuk Kilangan, Padang. The type of research was qualitative research with the descriptive analysis approach which was carried out in MTs Lubuk Kilangan. The object of the research was the implementation of learning ensamble music. The research instrument was the researcher itself and assisted by the supporting instruments such as stationery and photo cameras. The technique of data collection was done by observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study showed that in the process of planning of learning ensamble music has not been run in accordance with the lesson plan. Since there are several indicators of learning that are not reached, in the implementation of learning, the students and teachers became obstructed due to the lack of facilities and infrastructure of learning ensamble music, such as musical instruments, whiteboards, books and modules/students’ worksheet as well as classroom that are not adequate yet. It caused the result of students’ assessment was not perfect and it could be seen from the results of students who did not achieve the minimum passing standards. From the result of the study, it was only half the students who passed it. Then, in the implementation of this learning activity, students have not been able to play a musical instrument with the right technique. Keywords: Ensamble music, Learning implementation.

Abstract

AbstractThis Article was aimped to describe and analyze of ceremonial structure and function of Asyeik dance on treatmen in Dusun Empih Kecamatan Sungai Bungkal Kota Sungai Penuh. Type of this study was qualitative with descriptive method. Instrument in this study was the researcher. Type of data were both primary and secondary. Technique of collecting data were done by using library research, observation, interview, documentation and data analysis. Result of this study showed that performance of Asyeik dance on treatmen could be seen the relationship between it’s part namely mintak aroh, mulua kejea, manggoa atau nyerau, merancoah limao, tango nitai, nyembuah, penampilan tari asyeik, masoak bumoi, mageh hulu balea makoa. The performance of this had dominant elements where each other has symbiotic relationship. The elements were a dancer, bilan salih, motion, floor pattern, custom and music. Asyeik dance was used as a tool of treatmen ritual in Dusun Empih Kecamatan Sungai Bungkal Kota Sungai Penuh to healed the society who suffered an extreme pain which could not be healed by medical treatmen. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the arrangement of the Rayuan Pulau Kelapa song by Singgih Sanjaya based on the principles of melodic and harmonic principles. This type of research was qualitative with a content analysis approach. The theory used was to explain how the sound arrangement of the Rayuan Pulau Kelapa song by Singgih Sanjaya based on harmonic principles and melodic principles. The supporting data of this research were derived from literature studies, interviews and laboratory work. The result of the research is that the song has two forms, AA1B in arranging using harmonics-tone (major and minor chords principles), and non-harmonic-tones. In a pattern, working on a typical song that appears in the Singgih Sanjaya arrangement is the movement of tones between the four voices that do not move in parallel. Motuses between soprano and alto tend to be parallel (motus rectus), motus between soprano and deviant tenor (motus obliqus) and motus between soprano and bass also tend to deviate (motus obliqus). In addition, Singgih Sanjaya adopts conventional counterpoint theory of Western Music, where the sound on the cantus firmus is not always in Soprano (moving). So it can be concluded that in arranging the song, Singgih Sanjaya uses polyphony techniques and refer to the harmonic principles and melodic principles. Keywords: Form analysis, chord progression and cadence, motus, counterpoint, melodic and harmonic principles.

Abstract

AbstractThe background of the research was low mastery of students towards a learning material that would cause the low accomplishment of the most dance learning outcomes of students. It had not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) in XI grade IPS.3 SMA N 1 Solok. One of the factors that influenced the low learning outcomes of students was the application of learning media that had not been able to demand the active role of students. Therefore it was necessary to do research by applying audio visual media to see student dance learning outcomes. The purposed of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of dance students in SMA N 1 Solok through the using of audio visual media. The type of this research was classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students of XI grade IPS.3 SMA N 1 Solok registered in the 2017/2018 school year consisting of 30 students. In this study, the method of data collection was using the learning outcome test in the form of posttest at the end of each cycle and observation sheet. The data obtained were analyzed using the classical learning completeness formula. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an enhancement of students in each cycle that obtained complete scores according to the criteria of 80. In the first cycle students were complete as many as 20 people and the incomplete were 10 people. For cycle II, the number of students who complete was 25 while 5 students who were not complete, which meant the learning outcomes of dance have been increased.
