Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to describe the structure and pattern of the Talempong Botuang rhythm. In this research, the structure and rhythmic patterns in the Talempong Botuang art forms would be known, such as Mudiak Arau, Talago Biru, and Kelok Sambilan. This article was compiled based on the undergraduate thesis “The Analysis of Talempong Botuang Art Rhythm Structure and Pattern in Kenagarian VII Koto Talago, Guguak Subdistrict, Lima Puluh Kota Regency”.. This study was classified as qualitative research using descriptive analysis approach. The object of research was Talempong Botuang in kenagarian VII koto Talago Guguak Subdistrict, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The instruments in this study were the researcher himself and stationery, audio, video, camera. Data collection techniques used in this study included observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. Data in this study were obtained by conducting direct observations, interviews, and exercises. The results showed that Talempong Botuang arts basically had the same music structure. Thus, Dendang Mudiak Arau, Talago Biru, and Kelok Sambilan in Talempong Botuang art had similarities in performance patterns, and the rhythm pattern used was not 1/16 so that the art Talempong Botuang had a rapid performance. Keywords: Structure, Pattern, Rhythm

Abstract

Abstract The cultivation of this Serumpun's musical works is aimed to express musician musical experience in which compositional musics has inspired and gave the spirit of musician to learn music. On working on this musical work, musician presents Minang and Malay music collaborations with new packaging form, so that the producer can give the description that there are many similarities and congregation of both cultures.  This musical works presents the development of melody, rhythm, and timbre into other instruments in terms of produced music and the selection of its instruments, so that the work presented becomes more attractive and acceptable at this time. Keywords: Serumpun.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to increase students' activities and learning outcomes by describing the use of cooperative learning models of STAD type in dance art learning of 7th-grade students of SMP 13 Padang. This type of research was classroom action research. The object of the study was 32 7th grade students of SMP 13 Padang. Techniques of data collection were in the form of literature study, observation, tests, assignments and documentation. The results show that the use of cooperative learning models of STAD type in dance art learning which was carried out in two cycles went well. (1) Student learning activities with indicators of; asking questions, brave opinions, doing assignments, not making noise in class, and not going in and out of class, in the first cycle, the overall average score was 64.3%. In cycle II the overall average score increased to 80%. (2) Students` learning outcomes reach very good criteria. It can be seen from the results of written tests in cycle I with an average score of 77.7 and in cycle II increased to 84. Then the results of the students' practical ability in cycle I with an average score of 76, 2 and in the second cycle increased to 87.8. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning models of STAD type in the dance learning can increase student activity and learning outcomes. Keywords: Usage, STAD Type, Learning Outcomes, Dance Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis article was aimed to find out 1)how to use demonstration methodin local music learning especially talempong in class X IPA SMAN 1 Bukittinggi, 2)  how students' ability in playing talempong with the right tempo and tone. Type of the research was qualitative. The source of data were divided into two, they were primary and secondary. Technique of data collection was done by using some methods by taking observation, interview and documentation. Technique of data analysis was carried out based on Miles and Huberman’s theory namely data reduction, presentation and verification. Result of the research showed that the use of demonstration method used by teachers was appropiate as it should be, i.e. teachers gave example and guided the students well, it meant that the method has already worked. For the Students' ability in playing talempong, there were 19 students got 90 (52.8%), and 17 of students got 60 (47.2%). So it could be said that only 19 of students were able to play talempong withgood and right. Keywords: Usage, Demonstration Method, Local Music Learning (Minangkabau)

Abstract

AbstrakThe first data, through analysis of study result of Departement of Arts, Drama, Dance and Music 2015 students on Solfegio and music transcription Subject, it could be seen that there were some cases in relathionship between both of them, namely the last semester students who took line of work, they have the same problem, that was difficulty in transcripting music. Type of this study was quantitative, the method which was based on positivism. It was used to research on population or specific sample. Technique of data collection were done randomly by using instrument. Data analysis was quantitatively / statistic with purpose to test hypothesis which had been stated. (Sugiyono, 2006:14). Population in this study were Departement of Arts, Drama, Dance and Music 2015 students at class transcription and music analysis. In this study, data gained by taking documentation of student study result on solfegio and transcription subjects. Then, data were analyzed by using test of cofesion and correlation. Based on data analysis, it could be seen that corelation value was 22,845%. This value was in underweight category. It meant that the lack of cometence influence which was gained by Departement of Arts, Drama, Dance and Music 2015 students terhadap solfegio and transcription subjects. This competence was improved more  because this had great effect toward the ability of students in transcripting or writing music. Keywords : Solfegio, Transcription, Effect.

Abstract

Abstract This article aimed to reveal the impact of the application of the learning method of modelling the learning results of students on basic competencies to playing traditional musical instruments in groups and in class VIII 5 SMP Negeri 10 Padang. This research used Classroom Action Research. The object of research was the students of class VIII5 who studied the arts and culture lessons. This classroom action research was done through 2 cycles; they were cycle 1 and cycle 2. Data collection in this research data used some techniques that were observation and test result learn. The data processing procedures were done by data selection and percentage of data. The results showed that the application of modeling learning method on the subject of art and culture (music) could improve student learning outcomes. This was in accordance with student learning outcomes in pre-cycle; cycle 1 and cycle 2 were increased. The use of modeling learning methods could improve student learning outcomes in the subjects of art and culture (music) in class VIII 5 SMP Negeri 10 Padang. Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to describe the learning process of the local folk songs arrangement in senior high school number 3 Solok. The study was descriptive by using qualitative approach. As for the implementation of learning process of local folk songs arrangements can be explained as follows: at the first meeting, the teacher explained material about local folk songs arrangements ranging from definition of arrangement, how to arrange, and elements in a song. At the second meeting, the teacher demonstrated the song Mudiak Arau as material on learning process, students were required to be able to sing because before arranging the students must know the songs that will be arranged. At the next meeting, the teacher grouped the students to give task. Then, at the last meeting, the students were asked to write and sing the results from each group. The results of this research were, the learning of art and culture subject especially material in the music arts at senior high school number 3  Solok ran well. The learning of local folk song arrangement at that school was implemented by using lecturing and group discussion method. On each group of students, they have a form of arrangement with a different intro to each group by writing the notation numbers. It can be concluded that the learners have understood enough toward the arrangement of local folk song material enough  and it was revealed by the tasks given by the teacher, also students were able to do the tasks well. Keywords: Arts and culture, Music Arts, Arrangement

Abstract

AbstractThis article aimed to describe the implementation of extracurricular activity talempong pacik in SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The type of research was a qualitative research with descriptive method of analysis. Techniques of data collection in this research were the observation or direct observation of the implementation of extracurricular activity talempong pacik in SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The results showed that: (1) students were able to play a musical instrument talempong pacik by playing the song Cak Dindin in accordance with the notation; (2) students could express themselves through the appearance at the end of extracurricular activity.Keywords: extracurricular activity, and talempong pacik.

Abstract

AbstractThis study was aimed to know and describe the effectiveness of lecture and demonstration methods and the cause of ineffective both of them on dance art learning at class VII A SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. This study was qualitative with descriptive method. Instrument in this study was the researcher and it was also assisted by some tools such as stationery, camera and audio visual recording tool. Technique of data collection was done by using observation, interview, library research and documentation. Result of this study showed that both the lecture and demonstration methods on dance art learning at class VIIA SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP were ineffective yet. It could be seen from the students score who had not more reached minimal compeleteness criteria (KKM). The problem was caused by teachers who did not develop study well with using lecture and demonstration methods, teachers did not apply those methods optimally so that it could be seen that unstructured implementation of steps of the lecture and demonstration methods. Teachers did it randomly which caused those methods were used at class VII A SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP were ineffective (not effective). Keywords: The Effectiveness, Lecture and  Demonstration methods, Dance Art Learning.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to determine whether there was a correlation of singing spiritual worship at school services to the results of singing learning in SMP Kristen Kalam Kudus Padang and found out how much the correlation of singing spiritual worship to the results of singing learning. This research used a quantitative research method with a correlation research type. The populations in this research were 22 students of class VII of Christian SMP Kalam Kudus Padang. Determination of the number of sample members in this study was done by taking 100% due to the number of small relatively population, less than 30 people using saturated sampling technique. The validity instruments were done by content validity test and correlation test. Data analysis technique used was product moment correlation statistic. The results of this study indicated that there was a positive correlation that was moderate and significant between singing spiritual worship at school devotion to the results of studying class VII students of SMP Kristen Kalam Kudus Padang academic year 2017-2018, it was proved from the value of the correlation coefficient greater than r table ( 0.563> 0.432) and a significance value of 0.006, which meant less than 0.05 (0.006 <0.05). The result of data analysis also showed the value of r2 equal to 0,317; the value meant that 32% changed in the variable of singing of spiritual worship at school services could be explained by the result of singing learning of the seventh grade of junior high school Christian Kalam Kudus Padang, while the rest 60,8%  influenced by other variable were not examined in this research. Keyword: Singing, Spiritual Worship, Learning Outcomes, Correlation.
