Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to reveal and describe the conservation efforts of the Sikatuntuang Dance at Mandugo Ombak Dance Studio in Ibuh Village, West Payakumbuh Subdistrict, Payakumbuh City. The type of this research was qualitative research with descriptive method inorder to understand a deeper phenomenon. The object of this research wasSkatuntuang Dance in Mandugo Ombak Dance Studio in Ibuh Village, West Payakumbuh Subdistrict, Payakumbuh City. The research instrumentswere the researcher herself whowas assisted by tools such as recording devices, stationery, and a list of interview questions. Data collection techniques in this research were done through library study, observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, the data obtained in the field from the results of observations, interviews, recordings and photographs, then described and arranged in the form of scientific research in the form of an undergraduate thesis. The results showed that the effort to preserve the Sikatuntuang Dance was performed by the Mandugo Ombak Dance Studio through modern teaching methods by means of training and dissemination. The modern way wasdoing regular training of Sikatuntuang Dance at the Mandugo Ombakstudio. Dance practice wasdone three times in a week that were every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 16.00 to 18.00 P.M. The taught materials, were; a) information, knowledge, introduction, cultural values inculcating from Sikatuntuang Dance, b) the practice of Sikatuntuang Dance.Furthermore, the dissemination was carried out by the Tari Sikatuntuang appearance in various events, such as Tari Sikatuntuang in the Gonjong Limo event in Bandung in 1996, performing at the guest reception in Payakumbuh in 1997, at Padang Cultural Park in 2010, at the opening ceremony of The Singkarak Tour in Jakarta in 2011. In 2015, the Sikatuntuang Dance became one of the traditional art training objects from Japanese visits to the Mandugo Ombak Dance Studio. Moreover, Sikatuntang dance was also performed at the graduation ceremony at Andalas University in 2015 and at wedding events. Keywords: Preservation, Dance, Sikatuntuang, Mandugo Ombak.

Abstract

 This article aims to describe the use of beam notation in choir extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 8 Padang. This type of research was a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through literature studies, interviews and observation and training. The instruments of this research were the researcher himself with the help of other instruments such as notebooks and stationery, photo / cell phone cameras and song scores. This research was begun with the design, implementation, evaluation, and provided materials on beam notation and choirs as well as material on vocal techniques such as breathing exercises, intonation, and articulation to students in accordance with this study.The results of the study found that choir extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 8 Padang had been going well. It was evidenced by the ability of participants to read rang talui song by using beam notation in the basic tone of D major. Students also have been able to read rang talu songs according to the type of sound that has been shared, namely soprano and alto in the basic tone of D major. Abstract

Abstract This article aimed to describe the persentation of Galombang Dance Duo Baleh in a Marriage Ceremony in Marunggi Village, South Pariaman Subdistrict, Pariaman. This type of research was qualitative using descriptive analysis method. The main instrument was the researcher herself with assisted by some tools such as stationery and photo cameras. Techniques of data collection were in the form of library studies, observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques were collecting data, analyzing data, sorting data according to the Galombang Duo Baleh Presentation and then describing the data according to the issues discussed. The results of the study proved that the Galombang Duo Baleh Presentation was in the form of two groups in opposite directions. The elements of the presentation form consisted of: (1) Motion, which had 5 movements, namely: pambukak sambah, langkah tigo, lenong, tapuak, sambah akhir, (2) Floor design, only one form of formation, namely two straight lines in line. (3) Dancers, consisting of 6 men in groups. (4) Music, which was used by gandang tambua, tasa and sarunai (5) costumes, which were used by Galombang Duo Baleh players such as black taluak balango, black pants, sarongs made as a side. (6) The equipment used in the perfoemance of Galombang Duo Baleh was a carano containing complete sirih which was covered by fabric. Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to analyze the alu katentong rhythm in Nagari Padang Laweh, Tanah Datar Regency. This analysis was conducted in order to clarify the rhythm of Alu Katentong art songs. Alu katentong has various rhythms. From the various rhythms, analysis was done to see some rhythms that had the same pattern with each other. The results of the study showed that there were some similarities between the rhythm of one alu and other alu that contained in the same or different songs. This study proved that, there were 7 different types of rhythms in different songs and with different names. Beside the rhythm, the various beep tone from 3 different types of wood also became the identity of alu katentong. Keywords: Analysis and Rhythm.

Abstract

AbstractThis work aims to express the life story of the education (lectures), the writer who at first only thought that entering the world of education (lectures) was only for fun and just going along, only for riots and never thinking about the real life (the future), and eventually, the writer was aware and got motivation from within his subsconsciousness after seeing the results of the struggle of other people or friends of the writer himself. Then, from the motivation that had been gained, the author expressed and conveyed a flashback of his life which at first was very happy and proud because he had entered the world of lectures, lived days full of joy and riots so he forgot his own responsibilities as a student. The writer who was complacent about the life he lived in. Finally the writer was aware and also motivated to be able to achieve what has been achieved by other people or friends of the author expresses some kinds of atmosphere such as happiness, tense, sadness/repentance, and end with a feeling of emotion of true happiness through musical composition. The idea of this work began with the writer's mood in each of its parts.Keywords: Bright After Rain

Abstract

Abstract This article aimed to explain about the implementation of culture and arts learning (music) using audiovisual media in class VIII-2 of SMP Negeri 30 Padang. The background of the research was the interest of researcher to use audiovisual media in classroom learning in line with the order and composition of the material subject given. The type of research was qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The object of the study was the teacher and students who were studying culture and arts (music) in the subject matter of regional song appreciation, namely in class VIII-2 of SMP Negeri 30 Padang. The instruments of this research were observation and interview. The results showed that when audiovisual media used in music learning by paying attention to the order and suitability of the subject matter, then the use of audiovisual media would be able to attract students' attention in fostering understanding in learning. It was because the audiovisual learning media was not limited to power point and video display; sometimes the media was displayed separately from the subject matter delivered by the teacher in the classroom. Keywords:           Audiovisual Media, Culture and Arts Learning, Regional Music

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to reveal and describe the efforts of the Inheritance of Buai-Buai Dance in Nagari Pauh IX, Kelurahan Kuranji, Kecamatan Kuranji, and Padang City.This type of research was qualitative research, using descriptive methods. This research instrument was the researcher. Techniques of data collection were carried out by using literature study, observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction steps, carrying out data display/data preparation and drawing verification conclusions. The results show that the Buai-Buai Dance is almost extinct due to the number of heirs who were getting old. An effort to inherit the Buai-Buai dance is performed by the Minang Saiyo studio which is by providing training to the community as the next generation. Keywords: Inheritance, Buai-Buai Dance

Abstract

Abstract This article aimed to determine students' perceptions of dance extracurricular activities at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang. The type of this research was descriptive research. This research was conducted at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with 75 students participating in extracurricular activities. The populations of this research were students who took dance extracurricular activities; this study required 40 samples to represent 75 populations. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, observation, documentation, interviews and literature studies. The results showed that indicators about students' perceptions of dance extracurricular activities at Pertiwi 1 High School in Padang could be said well. Indicators of perceptions about student admission to dance extracurricular at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with the level of achievement of respondents namely strongly agree (SS) 61.2%, agree (S) 28.3%, doubt (R) 7.2%, disagree (TS) 0.2% and strongly disagree (STS) 0%, an indicator of perceptions about students' understanding of dance extracurricular activities at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with a high level of respondent strongly agree (SS) 60.6%, agree (S) 29, 3% hesitant (R) 9.3% disagree (TS) 0.2% and strongly disagree (STS) 0%, indicator of perceptions about students' assessment of dance extracurricular at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with attainment level strongly agree ( SS) 60.4%, agree (S) 26.8%, doubt (R) 10%, disagree (TS) 1.8% and strongly disagree (ST) 0%. Keywords: Perception, Students, Extracurricular Dance

Abstract

Abstract This article is aimed to describe simple ensemble music learning and as an illustration/reference for teachers in teaching students about playing simple music ensembles of 8th grade Junior High School students at SMP Negeri 3 Koto BaruDharmasraya. This study used a descriptive approach. The instrument of this research was the researcher and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery, audiovisuals and Smartphone. Techniques of data collection were done by library research, field observations, interviews and documentation. Techniques of data analysis were done by describing, elaborating and concluding. The results showed that the implementation of ensemble music learning by the teacher have not been fully using Lesson plan as a reference in learning. The methods that should be used by the teacher are question and answer method and demonstration. In fact, the teacher is more likely to use the lecturing method while the two methods written in the lesson plan have not been implemented into the learning process. The inequality of students` ability playing music leads the output obtained by students becomes varied. Lack of guided training given by teachers to students makes the ability to play musical instruments by the students is still not optimal. Keywords: Learning, ensemble music

Abstract

Abstract This article aimed to find and describe the implementation of Randai Learning on Self-Development at SMPN 14 Padang. The type of this research was qualitative research. This research applied descriptive method. Data collection in the field was done by observation, interviews, and documentation. In addition, data were collected from library studies, observations, and interviews. The analysis of data was conducted by qualitative data analysis, and then the analysis was described and concluded. The results of the research showed that the implementation of Randai Learning on Self-Development at SMPN 14 Padang was influenced by factors that inhibited the effectiveness of Randai activities. These factors were internal and external factors. Internal factors consisted of urge factors, attention factors, and participation factors that came from the students themselves, while external factors of students included parents, teacher factors, and facility factors. These factors can be specified as follows: 1) Students did not always pay attention to the teacher and trainer. 2) Less interest in students in paying attention to teachers had an impact on students' lack of understanding of the mastery toward the material given. 3) The material for combining music with legaran based on dendang became difficult material for students because of the short time given and the distracted attention of students. 4) Lack of mastery of material that caused students unable to display what had been given well. Keywords: Randai and Self Development
