Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

The creativity and skills of SBK in SD are enhanced through integrated dance, including character building and relationship with history. This study aims to find a way of learning art that is integrated with history lessons in elementary schools to increase early childhood creativity. This study took a sample of 36 grade 3 elementary school students with a focus on student experience and learning outcomes. Research methods: qualitative descriptive approach; data collection techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings: early childhood can understand subjects through an integrated approach, increasing creativity and character from an early age. As creators and implementers of blended learning, teachers play a role in planning, implementing, and evaluating through group discussions or blended learning simulations to improve the ability to implement blended learning. Interesting findings include learning history that is related to art and culture and the difficulties of the Cirebon clan Topeng Dance which is flexible for children aged 7-12 years to learn, with the hope that this phenomenal study will hone children's creativity and shape character from an early age.

Abstract

Kaba Gadih Basanai is a very popular story for the Minangkabau people and gives a very deep meaning in life because there is a historical background to the life of the people in the colonial era which was full of twists and turns of heartbreaking struggles. The purpose of this study is to examine how music behaves in conveying Rabab Pasisie kaba Gadih Basanai. This research is research with a descriptive qualitative approach, the researcher makes observations, describes then gives meaning to the symbols found. The Gadih Basanai song has traditional musical elements played by all the artists all of these artists have a different musical taste for the quality of each talent they have, and different characteristics when the performers of the Rabab (Violin) arts serve it. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. Musical behaviour is presented in various forms and musical variants created by each Rabab (violin) maker based on the artist's level of intelligence, to be able to give a musical sense that is presented during performances of Gadih Basanai singing or songs. Then the behaviour of the Rabab makers seems clear that the Rabab which is played through the instrument instrumental melodies often give or brings up new melodies through inspiration by the players themselves, who always synergize between instruments to become an interesting work and not out of frames the melody on the coastal Rabab itself.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the Application of Persembahan Beras Kunyit Dance in Extracurricular as an effort to preserve traditional dance in MTsN Sarolangun. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The object of his research was the Persembahan Beras Kunyit Dance in extracurricular at MTs N Sarolangun. Types are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used in this study are literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the application of turmeric rice offerings is applied through 4 stages, namely (1) implementation steps, (2) application planning, (3) implementation of application, (4) evaluation. The process of implementing the training was carried out as many as 6 meetings. Students have mastered the traditional dance dance skills of the Persembahan Beras Kunyit Dance offering well. Thus, this dance has been mastered by MTsN Sarolangun students, meaning that this dance has been preserved and the results of this application have been achieved as an effort to preserve the existing Sarolangun.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of cultural arts (Dance) at SMA Negeri 3 Painan by using the peer tutor method. The type of research used is classroom action research. The instrument used in this study was in the form of a test held at the end of the cycle. Data collection techniques are carried out using observation, tests and documentation. The results showed that improving student activities and learning outcomes by using the peer tutor method in learning dance at SMA Negeri 3 Painan. It can be seen from the classical percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in the cognitive realm increased in cycle 1, namely 83.33% with good score criteria. The results of learning students' skills (psychomotor) are also very good, judging from the classical presence of the completeness of student learning outcomes, which is 88%. Then it can be concluded that the implementation of learning with application.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the function of dance in PALI District, South Sumatra. In this research, it is a qualitative descriptive research. The object of research is the Mantang Balam dance. The data source for this research is informants, namely people who have knowledge about the Mantang Balam dance (choreographers, dancers, and Head of the Culture and Tourism Office of PALI Regency). Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument was the researcher himself with the aid of interview notes and a camera. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner with observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of the study are as follows: 1) the function of dance is as a guest welcoming ceremony, in this function dance is performed to welcome guests. 2) Function as entertainment, namely the Mantang Balam dance performed at circumcisions, wedding receptions and Regency Anniversary. 3) The function of dance as a spectacle/performance, namely the Mantang Balam dance is shown at art performances or dance festivals. 4) The function as an educational medium, in that function, the Mantang Balam dance is a medium for educating students in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to; 1) Knowing the complaints experienced by Reog dancers in Mrayan Village, 2) Knowing the series of Reog performances in Mrayan Village, 3) Knowing the differences between Reog Ponorogo in the past and present. There are data collection methods carried out by researchers are interview and questionnaire techniques. The results of this study are; 1) Jathil dancers in Mrayan Village said that the complaints they often felt were pain and aches in the shoulders, calves, and wrists. For very severe or fatal injuries, dancers in Mrayan Village have never been found, 2) The series of Reog performances in Mrayan Village include remarks by the village head, the dancers pray together, start the show, and close, 3) Differences between Reog dancers in the past and now there is Jathil. Which in ancient times were played entirely by men but now they have changed to Jathil dancers played by women. Jathil dancers in the village of Mrayan no longer have male dancers because the youth there think "men really dance". They are proud to dance Jathil nowadays.

Abstract

The Rahim Sungai Musi Dance is a dance that tells of diversity and ethnic diversity along the banks of the Musi River involving 43 women of various ages, teenagers to adults. The research problem is how the form of the presentation of the Rahim Sungai Musi Dance in the Ogan River, village 15 Ulu, Palembang City. The aim of this research is to find out and describe the form of presentation of the Musi River Rahim Dance in the Ogan River, village 15 Ulu, Palembang City. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The form of presentation of the Rahim Sungai Musi Dance, namely the overall form presented on stage, consists of conceptual aspects and dance performances including dance moves, dance space, dance music, dance titles, themes, dance types, presentation modes, dancers, fashion, make-up, and styling, Light, property. From the results of the research and analysis it was concluded that the Rahim Sungai Musi Dance is a dance work that developed in the post-traditional era with the themes of historical, ecological and cultural issues that describe the activities of riverside communities such as fishing, washing, boats as a means of transportation, and the existence of floating markets in ancient time.

Abstract

This research examines the existence of Talempong Kayu in Nagari Durian Gadang, Sijunjung District, Sijunjung Regency. Talempong Kayu is one of the traditional music in Nagari Durian Gadang. Initially, Talempong Kayu was performed using one instrument, namely a set of wooden talempongs consisting of five blades. The function of Talempong Kayu is to entertain yourself when you are tired from work or during your spare time. Along with the times, Talempong Kayu has developed and does not only use one instrument, but has added accompaniment instruments such as two drums, a gong and a bottle. The function of Talempong Kayu has also developed, such as entertainment events, the appointment of traditional titles, events commemorating the anniversary of Sijunjung Regency, entertainment at weddings, as well as events to welcome guests of government agencies. The purpose of this study was to describe the existence and form of presentation and function of Talempong Kayu in Nagari Durian Gadang, Sijunjung District, Sijunjung Regency. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques by observation, documentation, and field interviews to obtain research results according to the context that is descriptive. The results of this study explain that the existence of Talempong Kayu traditional music in Nagari Durian Gadang has experienced developments both in terms of tools and in terms of its use in society.

Abstract

Musical illustration plays a crucial role in establishing the mood, nuances, and atmosphere in films. This study delves into two main aspects: 1) how directors and composers apply mood, nuances, and atmosphere through musical illustration in various scenes, and 2) the significance of musical illustration in the film "Tonggak Tuo." The researcher employs a qualitative descriptive research method, presenting data in both textual and graphical forms. The primary focus of this study revolves around the role of music illustration in films as a builder of mood, nuances, and atmosphere, as per Himawan Pratista's film music illustration theory. Data collection methods encompass document review, interviews, and literature review. Analytically, this research directly observes the content of "Tonggak Tuo" to investigate the role of music illustration, employing content analysis and interpretative techniques. The results affirm that musical illustrations play a pivotal role in constructing the mood, nuances, and atmosphere within the film "Tonggak Tuo."

Abstract

This study aims to reveal describe and analyze the choreography of Piriang Indang Nan Badantiang Dance in Sanggar V Tunang, Nanggalo District, Padang City. This research using qualitative methods is research that uses a naturalistic approach. This research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. The data in this study used primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out using literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that cultivation is certainly inseparable from the creative process of wanting to develop a new motion and paying attention to the exploration of motion. After discovering the idea of the Indang Nan Badanting Piriang Dance the choreographer contemplates in a sound or term the vernacular in a dance that is often performed can become a dance title. The motion created by the choreographer comes from the existing motion and is redeveloped to be more widespread and different even though the performance performs the same or repetitive movements, but can be distinguished in the composition and cultivation. This Indang Nan Badantiang Piriang Dance has a dominant element of space having straight and curved lines, low and medium levels, front and side facing directions, medium and large volumes, and front and side view focus. According to the choreographer, the creation of the Piriang Badantiang Indang Dance was also inspired by the existing Piriang Dance movements but redeveloped so that they are not the same.
