Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

The play "Le Medecin Malgre Lui" by Moliere, translated by Adi Krishna, is an attempt to criticize the medical practices of Moliere's time, reflecting the ignorance and incompetence of the doctors of that era, represented by the character Sganarele. The Realism style is chosen to approach Moliere's play, but utilizing the Commedia dell'arte method. This play is presented as an option to realize Moliere's desired comedy. This research employs an art practice-based research method through the Commedia dell’arte method, including Observation, Representation, and Improvisation. This is done to find a formula for approaching roles to promote the Commedia dell'arte method systematically. In practice, interdisciplinary approaches that integrate artistic creation with scientific inquiry can explore and convey complex ideas through creative stages realized through the character Sganarelle as the main character in the play Le Medecin Malgre Lui

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the problem of deviant behavior in Minangkabau men. According to tradition and culture, Minangkabau men are men who are based on traditional behavior coded as syarak and syarak coded as khitabullah, meaning that Minangkabau men are men who behave according to Islamic customs and norms. In the dance work entitled "SHEMALE" Minangkabau men are represented as ladyboys, which in the current era are often found in urban areas, but do not apply in rural areas, because of the strong confines of village customs and norms, this behavioral anomaly cannot grow and develop. The creation method in the dance work "SHEMALE" is divided into 3 (three), namely the concept of creation, the process of creation, and the composition of the work (form structure). In the dance work "SHEMALE" it can be seen that every standard and deeply rooted social system, if maintained collectively, will be able to resist various external interventions. Apart from that, another message is that information technology can make people poisoned logically and intuitively, so that they deviate from their actual behavior. The third message is that there is no human being who cannot change, as long as the human being himself is willing to change.

Abstract

This study discusses the preservation of Gendang Beleq art in Wanasaba Village, East Lombok. Gendang Beleq is a traditional musik art form of the Sasak ethnic group that holds significant cultural value and is used in various traditional ceremonies. However, this art form faces challenges in the age of technology and the younger generation's interest in modern musik. The research employs a qualitative ethnographic communication method with the research location in Wanasaba Village. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that Gendang Beleq has essential artistic, historical, communal, and educational values within Lombok culture. This art form enhances culture, preserves cultural heritage, unites the community, and provides skills and cultural understanding to the younger generation. Despite the challenges, Gendang Beleq continues to evolve with the influence of time. This research provides a deeper understanding of the importance of preserving and developing Gendang Beleq art as a valuable cultural heritage. Preservation efforts enrich local culture and enhance appreciation for traditional arts in society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam naskah drama “mencari taman” karya Norca M. Massardi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis). Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah naskah drama “mencari taman” karya Norca M. Massardi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara membaca dan memahami naskah, lalu mengidentifikasi. Langkah-langkah menganalisis data adalah mengidentifikasi data, mengklasifiksi data, menyimpulkan dan membuat laporan. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat sepuluh nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam naskah drama “mencari taman” karya Norca M. Massardi diantaranya yaitu nilai pendidikan karakter religius, nilai pendidikan karakter jujur, nilai pendidikan karakter toleransi, nilai pendidikan karakter disiplin, nilai pendidikan karakter rasa ingin tahu, nilai pendidikan karakter mandiri, nilai pendidikan karakter bersahabat/komunikatif, nilai pendidikan karakter cinta damai, nilai pendidikan karakter peduli sosial, dan nilai pendidikan karakter tanggung jawab. Dalam naskah drama terdapat dialog yang berupa ungkapan yang diucapkan oleh pemberi tuturan dan dijawab oleh penerima ujaran dan disitulah dipaparkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. This research aims to find and describe the values of character education contained in the script of the drama "looking for a garden" by Norca M. Massardi. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a content analysis method. The main instrument in this study is the researcher himself. The source of data used is the script of the drama "looking for a garden" by Norca M. Massardi. The data collection technique is carried out by reading and understanding the manuscript, then identifying. The steps of analyzing data are identifying data, classifying data, inferring and creating reports. The results of this study revealed that there are ten character education values in the drama script "Looking for a Garden" by Norca M. Massardi, including the value of religious character education, the value of honest character education, the value of tolerance character education, the value of discipline character education, the value of curiosity character education, the value of independent character education, the value of friendly/communicative character education, the value of peace-loving character education,  the value of social care character education, and the value of responsibility character education. In the drama script there is a dialogue in the form of expressions spoken by the speaker and answered by the recipient of the speech and that is where the values of character education are explained.

Abstract

Seni musik Jaranan merupakan kesenian tradisional Jawa yang terdapat di desa Sumber Asri, kabupaten Musi Rawas, Sumatera Selatan. Seni musik ini dimainkan oleh penari dengan menaiki kuda tiruan yang terbuat dari anyaman bambu, diiringi instrument ritmis seperti: Gendang, Kenong, Gong dan instrument melodis seperti: Saron, Rancak Saron, Slerompet serta memainkan lagu-lagu Jawa. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif, menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis, dan pendekatan musikologis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan seperti: studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk dan estetika seni musik Jaranan memiliki bentuk struktur sajian pertunjukan, unsur musikal dan nilai estetika yang terkandung di dalamnya seperti: nilai subjektif dan nilai objektif serta unsur-unsur estetika seperti: unsur kesatuan, kerumitan, penonjolan, kesimbangan dan kesungguhan. Jaranan music is a traditional art inherited from Javanese ancestors which is also found in the people of Sumber Asri village, Musi Rawas district, South Sumatra. The art of Jaranan music is played by dancers riding artificial horses made of woven bamboo, and accompanied by the art of Jaranan music which plays Javanese songs. This research uses qualitative research methods. Data collection was carried out through literature study and observation, and interviews. The research results show that the form and aesthetics of Jaranan musical art can be seen from the structure of the performance, the musical elements and aesthetic values contained therein such as subjective values and objective values as well as aesthetic elements such as elements of unity, complexity, prominence, balance and sincerity.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and describe the Choreography of the Galuik Salendang Sanggar Tuah Sakato Dance in the City of Padang. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods of analysis. This research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments in the form of stationery, cameras and audio recording devices. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the creation of Galuik Salendang dance consisted of 2 aspects, namely the content aspect and the form aspect. The content aspect consists of ideas, atmospheres and functions. The idea of creating Galuik Salendang dance was inspired by the Sofyani Umbrella dance and the pre-existing Galuik Salendang dance. The atmosphere of this dance is a joyful and passionate atmosphere. The function of Galuik Salendang dance is as an entertainment dance. Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between singing in the singing style and the popularity of the song "Bayang-Bayang Rindu" created by Edi Elmitos. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were Padang State University Sendratasik students who took Vocal and Dandrum courses with the research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires and taking questionnaires. The data analysis technique is carried out using a percentage formula. The research results show that the relationship between the song and the creator's background is 37.68%, the relationship between the song and the vocalist is 39.56%, the relationship between the song being sung differently by Rayola and its predecessor singer (Anroys) is 39.51%, the relationship between the song and the singing style sung by Rayola 41.09%, there is a match between the lyrics and the way the vocalist expresses the song 39.07%, the relationship between the song and the strategy of popularizing the song through social media Youtube 40.61%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan bernyanyi gaya dendang terhadap popularitas lagu “Bayang-Bayang Rindu” ciptaan Edi Elmitos. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi di dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Sendratasik Universitas Negeri Padang yang mengambil mata kuliah Vocal dan Dendang dengan instrumen penelitian ini berupa angket (kuesioner). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara penyebaran angket (kuesioner) dan pengambilan angket. Teknik analisis data dilakukan menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hubungan lagu dengan latar belakang pencipta 37,68%, hubungan lagu dengan vocalist 39,56%, hubungan lagu dinyanyikan secara berbeda oleh Rayola dengan penyanyi pendahulunya (Anroys) 39,51%, hubungan lagu dengan gaya dendang yang dinyanyikan Rayola 41,09%, adanya kesesuaian antara lirik dengan cara mengekspresikan lagu oleh vocalist 39,07%, hubungan lagu dengan strategi mempopulerkan lagu melalui media social Youtube 40,61%.

Abstract

This article reviews and analyses how methods, weaknesses, problems, solutions, and learning outcomes achieved in classical guitar learning at formal and non-formal educational institutions in West Sumatra as intercultural activities. Review and analysis refers to the principles, concepts, and methods of learning music, especially Western classical guitar, referred to throughout the world, namely the concept of Western music and the Yamaha Music Education System. The discussion in this article originates from the results of the first stage of the two planned research stages on the method of learning guitar instruments in formal and informal institutions in West Sumatra. The research method is qualitative and experimental. The first phase of the research is directed at finding, analyzing, and concluding methods of learning the practice of guitar instruments, their weaknesses, problems, and solutions to formal and informal institutions in West Sumatra. The second stage of the research is directed at finding and formulating weaknesses and shortcomings of guitar learning methods, then finding the need for guitar learning through analysis and assessment of guitar learning needs and then creating guitar learning methods based on 'sign' and 'interpretation' in the context of 'musicianship' and achievement of the learning objectives of the Major Guitar Instrument Practice course in the Music Education Study Program at the Faculty of Language and Art, Universitas Negeri Padang.  Artikel ini mengkaji dan menganalisis bagaimana metode, kelemahan, permasalahan, solusi, dan capaian pembelajaran yang dicapai dalam pembelajaran gitar klasik di lembaga pendidikan formal dan nonformal di Sumatera Barat sebagai kegiatan antarbudaya. Kajian dan analisis mengacu pada prinsip, konsep, dan metode pembelajaran musik, khususnya gitar klasik Barat, yang dirujuk di seluruh dunia, yaitu konsep musik Barat dan Sistem Pendidikan Musik Yamaha. Pembahasan dalam artikel ini bersumber dari hasil tahap pertama dari dua tahap penelitian yang direncanakan tentang metode pembelajaran alat musik gitar di lembaga formal dan informal di Sumatera Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan eksperimental. Tahap pertama penelitian diarahkan untuk menemukan, menganalisis, dan menyimpulkan metode pembelajaran praktik alat musik gitar, kelemahan, permasalahan, dan solusinya pada lembaga formal dan informal di Sumatera Barat. Tahap kedua penelitian, diarahkan untuk menemukan dan merumuskan kelemahan dan kekurangan metode pembelajaran gitar, kemudian menemukan kebutuhan pembelajaran gitar melalui analisis dan penilaian kebutuhan pembelajaran gitar dan kemudian membuat metode pembelajaran gitar berbasis ‘tanda’ dan ‘interpretasi’ dalam konteks ‘musicianship’ dan pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran mata kuliah Praktik Instrumen Gitar Utama pada Program Studi Pendidikan Musik di Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Drum Band di SMP Negeri 3 Tambang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan pelaksanaan bentuk kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di sekolah tersebut. Beberapa komponen penting yang perlu diperhatikan untuk mencapai kesuksesan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Drum Band adalah tujuan, metode, materi, sarana prasarana, serta evaluasi dan penilaian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai pada penelitian ini  meliputi wawancara terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentas yang hasilnya akan dijelaskan dalam penelitian. Materi yang diajarkan mencakup teknik memainkan berbagai alat musik yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Drum Band. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler ini adalaha metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktek. Sarana dan prasarana yang disediakan oleh sekolah meliputi : pinanika, belyra, marching bell, sanre drum, bass drum, trio drum, cymbal, bendera, dan lapangan sebagai tempat berlatih. Evaluasi dan penilaian dalam pembelajaran dilaksanana secara Bersama-sama setelah peserta didik melakukan Latihan pada tahap akhir yang bertujuan untuk mengukur sudah sejauh mana kemampuan siswa dalam memainkan alat musik Drum Band The research on Drum Band extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 3 Tambang aims to describe and explain the implementation of these activities. Some important components that need to be considered to achieve success in Drum Band extracurricular activities are goals, methods, materials, infrastructure, as well as evaluation and assessment. The data collection techniques used include structured interviews, observations, and documents whose results will be explained in the research. The material taught includes techniques for playing various musical instruments used in Drum Band activities. The methods used in this extracurricular activity are lectures, demonstrations, and practice methods. The facilities and infrastructure provided by the school include: pinanika, belyra, marching bell, sanre drum, bass drum, drum trio, cymbal, flag, and field as a place to practice. The learning evaluation is carried out together after the students do the final stage of training which aims to measure the extent of the student's ability to play the Drum Band instrument.

Abstract

Every region certainly has games that are often used on certain occasions andcan even be said to be part of their culture. The purpose of this study is to review one of the games in West Sumatera namely Kesenian Irama Minang (KIM) game so that it has become one of the popular cultural games in Minangkabau. In this research, the approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods and the data was collected by means of interviews and literature studies to complete statements from the interview results.The results found that the KIM game was introduced in the Pariaman area of West Sumatra and was first popularized at weddings. Looking at the popularity of the KIM game researchers reviewed it from a musical perspective and concluded that the KIM game has different song forms, the poems are like rhymes with rhymes a-ba-b using the Minang regional language and use a fast tempo or what is usually called with Allegro.
