Abstract

Education is one of the fields that includes the field of teaching and learning. The teaching and learning process requires important components, one of which is teaching materials in the form of a practical guidance module. The existence of a practical guidance module during the practicum can help students understand and understand the practical material. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of a practical guidance module which is expected to improve students' understanding of the practical material, especially the Histology practicum. The development research method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method with a total of 100 subjects of the 2024 Medical Study Program students. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire in the form of a gform. The questionnaire consisted of a validation questionnaire from material experts and media experts, as well as pre-test and post-test questions. The results of the pre-test and post-test were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and N-gain tests with SPSS. The assessment of the material expert and media expert validators showed a value of 86% and 92%, indicating that the module was very valid and could be used without revision. The Wilcoxon Test results show an Asymp.sig value of 0.000, indicating that there is an average difference between the pretest and post-test scores. The N-gain test results show an N-gain score of 84, indicating that the module effectively improves the understanding of students in the 2024 batch of the Medical study program with an increase in the level of understanding in the high category.

Abstract

According to Law Number 18 of 2008, the increase in the volume, type and characteristics of waste is caused by population growth and changes in people's consumption patterns. Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.10/MENLHK/SETJEN/PLB.0/4/2018, concerning the handling of household waste and similar waste, it is necessary to classify it. In general, waste is divided into three types, namely Inorganic, Organic and B3. Many people already know the types of waste but are still not sure about sorting waste properly. It is necessary to recognize objects to design a household waste classification system to make it easier to sort waste more optimally. This system involves Deep Learning and in it there is an algorithm that is able to classify objects significantly, namely the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm. This research uses the MobileNet architecture, which is a CNN architecture that has fast and accurate computing time. The dense layer contains 1 layer with 900 neurons. There are 5952 trash dataset images that will be used as training data and 1489 testing data taken from the kaggle.com dataset. The classification process for training data using the MobileNet architecture produces an average score for each class, namely an accuracy value of 88%, precision of 89%, recall of 88%, and F1 of 87%. Meanwhile, the results of the training model applied to the testing data produced an accuracy of 86%. Thus, the results of this experiment have quite good accuracy considering that household waste has various types and shapes.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement the SISPEDA Application (Fund Submission Information System) as a basis for routine Work Down Payment (UMK) submissions and activities at the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Malang, with a focus on increasing financial accountability and transparency in the context of the Industrial Revolution 5.0. This study uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology consisting of planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance stages. Primary data were collected through interviews and observations of potential users, namely administrative staff and lecturers at the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Malang. The results of the unit testing trial, SISPEDA can run 100% so it is suitable for use. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of SISPEDA has succeeded in increasing the efficiency of the fund submission process by significantly reducing the time required. Overall, this study concludes that SISPEDA makes a positive contribution to improving financial governance at the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Malang and can be used as a model for the development of fund management information systems in other higher education institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menitikberatkan pada Augmentasi citra pohon kelapa sawit untuk deteksi objek menggunakan pendekatan Deep Learning. Pohon kelapa sawit memiliki peran penting dalam industri perkebunan dan pertanian, sehingga pengembangan metode deteksi pohon kelapa sawit yang efisien menjadi krusial dalam pemantauan perkebunan dan pengelolaan sumber daya alam. Metode penelitian melibatkan augmentasi citra, seperti flip, crop, hue, saturation, brightness, exposure dan pra-pemrosesan auto orient dan resize untuk meningkatkan kualitas data pelatihan. Model Deep Learning yang digunakan adalah Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) yang terintegrasi dengan teknik object detection, memungkinkan identifikasi pohon kelapa sawit dari latar belakang dengan akurasi tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan 101 citra kepala sawit dan setelah dilakukan augmentasi berjumlah 253 citra pohon kelapa sawit yang bervariasi dalam kondisi pencahayaan, sudut pandang, dan penutupan daun. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa metode ini mampu mengidentifikasi pohon kelapa sawit dengan akurasi yang baik, bahkan dalam kondisi yang kompleks. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki potensi aplikasi dalam pemantauan perkebunan kelapa sawit, perencanaan lahan, dan pemantauan lingkungan. Dengan peningkatan akurasi deteksi dan ekstraksi, manajemen perkebunan dan pemantauan lingkungan dapat menjadi lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Simpang Katis is a vocational school focused on industrial mechanics education with various majors such as industrial vehicle engineering, motorcycle business and engineering, multimedia, software engineering, and electrical power installation engineering. Currently, the practical equipment loan system is still manual, often resulting in unorganized records, data loss, and difficulties in monitoring equipment usage. An audit using the COBIT 5 framework could help identify weaknesses in the current system and provide recommendations for improvement. By implementing a more structured approach to equipment management, the school can enhance accountability, streamline operations, and ultimately better support its students' hands-on learning experiences. f Furthermore, investing in a digital management system could facilitate real-time tracking of equipment loans, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and easily accessible. This transition simplifies the auditing process and fosters a culture of responsibility among students and staff, leading to more effective utilization of resources. The framework indicates that all analyzed subdomains are still at Level 1 (Performed Process), while the expected target is Level 3 (Established Process). This means the system is operational but not yet well-documented or standardized. This study employs a gap analysis method by comparing the current condition with the desired target. The results reveal a significant gap in several subdomains, with an average score ranging from 1.5 to 2.5. Subdomains with the lowest scores, such as BAI02 (1.8) and BAI05 (1.9), highlight the need for better planning and system implementation. Therefore, this study recommends digitalizing the loan system, standardizing procedures through SOP development, enhancing control mechanisms, and providing user training to make the system more efficient, transparent, and well-documented.

Abstract

Keripik Afacherry is a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) specializing in various flavors of light snack chips, officially established in 2017. Digital transformation plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of MSMEs in the Industry 4.0 era. This study focuses on developing a web-based platform for ordering and logistics using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method to address the challenges of the still predominantly manual system. Currently, the business relies on three sales methods: conventional (offline retail), social media, and e-commerce, all of which require manual interactions for stock checking, order confirmation, and payment validation. Using the RAD approach, the system is developed iteratively with key features such as digital payment integration, real-time order tracking, and automated inventory management. The findings indicate that implementing a web-based system can reduce order recording errors, accelerate distribution, and improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, digitalized logistics provide benefits in more accurate stock management and optimized delivery processes. Therefore, further development is necessary to enhance data security, optimize the user interface (UI/UX), and conduct sales data analysis to support more strategic business decision-making. The system simplifies previously manual ordering and logistics workflows, reduces the risk of data entry errors through a more structured digital system, and provides a foundational design ready for implementation in MSMEs.. This research is expected to serve as an innovative solution for MSMEs in overcoming digitalization challenges and increasing competitiveness in an increasingly dynamic market

Abstract

PAUD (Early Childhood Education) Mutiara Bunda is one of the educational institutions that has a very large role in the success of education. At PAUD Mutiara Bunda, currently it has not implemented a computerized sistem (manual), especially in making teaching modules so that it often takes a long time and costs a lot of money in printing and often loses the teaching module printout. Therefore, the researcher designed a prototype for developing a web-based teaching module using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation model in designing a web sistem prototype so as to produce a sistem that suits user needs. At the design stage, the researcher used the UML and Figma prototypes. The results of this study are a prototype of a web sistem for developing teaching modules that can make it easier for teachers to process teaching modules and can help parents see their children's learning activities.

Abstract

English proficiency is a crucial aspect in both academic and professional fields. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is widely used as a standard to measure an individual's English language competency. However, conventional TOEFL testing methods still face limitations, such as delays in scoring and complex administrative processes. Therefore, this study aims to design and develop a web-based online TOEFL test application with an automated scoring system at the ASC Indonesia Language Institute. The development of this application follows the waterfall method, which includes analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance phases. The application is built using the Laravel framework for the backend, Vue.js for the frontend, and MySQL as the database for data storage. The automated scoring system is implemented using a rule-based scoring algorithm aligned with TOEFL standards. Testing results indicate that the developed application provides an efficient testing experience with fast and accurate scoring processes. Additionally, the test result reporting feature allows participants and administrators to analyze English language proficiency in more depth. In conclusion, this application offers an innovative solution for language institutions to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of digital TOEFL test implementation.

Abstract

The utilization of digital technology in the healthcare sector is crucial, including within educational environments. At SMK Bagimu Negeriku, which implements a boarding school model, the recording of students' health information is still conducted manually, posing risks of data loss or improper documentation. Therefore, a digital system is needed to simplify the recording and monitoring of students' health information. By designing the UI/UX for a health tracking system, it is expected to create an efficient solution and provide the best experience for all users, including dormitory supervisors and school administrators, in efforts to maintain students’ health both preventively and curatively. The applied method is the Design Thinking approach, encompassing the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Testing. Each stage is conducted to ensure that the design meets the users' needs and preferences. The resulting prototype was evaluated through usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The evaluation results showed a SUS score of 85 out of 100, indicating a high level of usability and user satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract The quality of rice varieties is a crucial aspect in supporting food security and productivity of the agricultural sector. This study aims to identify the main factors that determine the quality of various rice varieties using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This method was chosen because of its ability to process decisions systematically and structured. The factors analyzed include productivity, resistance to pests and diseases, planting period, quality of grain and rice, adaptation to the environment, and efficiency of production costs. Data were obtained through questionnaires and field surveys. The results of the analysis showed that resistance to pests and diseases was the most dominant criterion (24.8%), while superior varieties were the best choice with the highest weight (33.8%). This study is expected to be a reference for farmers and stakeholders in determining rice varieties that are appropriate to land conditions and local needs.
