Abstract

This research aim to know children perception to do fine art learning about 1)to open and close teaching skill, 2) question skill, 3) to give reinforcement skill, 4) stimulus and variation skill, 5) to manage classroom. Population in research is all children SMA Negeri 3 Kota Solok amount to 1102 and sampel amount to 268 of children. This research is descriptive research as a problem solving procedure. Sample technic use stratified propotional random sampling. Result of research show is children perception to fine art teacher is good enough.Key word: children perception, learning and instruction

Abstract

The purpose of design, namely to rebranding visual attractions AngsoDuo Island Pariaman city, Featuring a unique and fun impression, able torepresent Branding island tourist attraction that serves to show theidentity of Angso Duo Island. The analytical method chosen in visualrebranding design is SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities,Threat). This method is used to find weakness, strength, opportunity andthreat of Angso Duo Island. The result of visual rebranding design ofAngso Duo Island is Brand applied to main media in form of designingmanual and stationery set such as business card, map, cover cd,letterhead, envelope, and notebook as well as supporting media include,t-shirt, totebag, stickers, hats and key chains.Kata kunci: Rebranding, Identitas Visual, Pulau Angso Duo.

Abstract

This final work aims to realize the form of koi fish in tapestry works. This tapestry work uses the soumak technique, giordes, and is combined with patchwork material on the koi fin. The method of creating this final work uses five stages, namely the stages of preparation, elaboration, synthesis, realization of concepts, and completion.The results were achieved by 7 tapestry works with the titles: Loyalty, Complementary, Togetherness, Courage, Softness, Tranquility, and Joy. It is hoped that the final work will be useful for students majoring in fine arts, able to generate enthusiasm in work, as well as appreciation and comparative work to create better tapestry works in the future.Key words : Koi fish, tapestry

Abstract

Abstract Search of self identity is something that very important in our lives: about who we are what we life3 for, and the purpose of life it self. The purpose of this final work is (1) as container to implement the skill and painting skills are displayed in the form of the final work (2) provide insight in addressing the conditions of feelings and problems that is experienced. This final work is the form of paintings that show realism and surrealis style. Realization of this work is the result of contemplation observation then visualized into line, clour and shape of the object that desired, so creating a work as an expression and out povring of the heart to wards the problem that occurred.   Keywords : Mirror, self, work, painting

Abstract

The purpose of this through to understand that there is an influence of using prezi visual media to the result of art at grade Junior High School 30 Padang. The kind of through that used is experiment interpretation score of pretest and posttest and then by technique interpretation encode for processing Random Sampling. This encode for processing collected by the test in the result of lesson. Finding in this through showing that : the result of student’s in the lesson by using prezi visual media is better, just than with students who teached without using a conventional media. That’s mean using prezi visual media needed to all of students for improving the result of students in the lesson specially for art in art at Junior High School 30 Padang.Keywords: Visual Media Prezi

Abstract

This study is aimed to provide an overview on the development of visual and written of songket Batubara motifs and the philosophical meanings of each motif. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. From the research, it can be concluded that the development or change of songket Batubara motifs began around 1970. Old motifs are pucuk rebung, pucuk betikam, tolop berantai, pucuk kol, pucuk pandan and pucuk perak. New motifs are nasi bertabur, bunga tunggal and bunga mawar. Motifs that changed are pucuk rebung, pucuk betikam and tolop berantai. Pucuk Rebung, Tolop Berantai and Pucuk Betikam have the same meaning that illustrates how to behave in the community and how to be a good and wise leader. While Pucuk Kol, Pucuk Pandan dan Bunga Cempaka are an overview of natural resources and as symbolic of this nature. Gigi hiu (Shark teeth) motif is a symbol of the source of income of Batubara society.Keywords: meaning of songket motifs, songket batubara, development of songket motifs

Abstract

This research has a purpose to describe: 1)form, 2)function, 3)meaning of motif on traditional clotihing Bundo Kanduang in Gunung Talang Subdistrict. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive approach. Primary data sources are told directly by informants, data sources taken in the form of written notes (recording, picture) which is gotten from the informant by doing the interview, documentation, and literature study. Motif comes from flora, fauna, and geometrical. The function of motif consist of personal, physical, and social. Abstract

Student's perceptions on the implementation of practical activities Wood Craft DPK department,  which includes aspects; 1) The students 'perception of facilities and infrastructure workshops, 2)  students' perception of the preparation of the practice, 3) students 'perception of implementation of  the practices, 4) students' perception of the 4 closure of the practice . Which involves the student respondents as many as 48 people. This is a descriptive approach to quantitative research, using a perception questionnaire rating scale. The instrument has been tested using SPSS 16 with a correlation coefficient of 0.300 in the above figure. With data analysis using percentage figures.The results showed class XI student perceptions on the implementation of practical activities  department of Wood Craft enter. Both categories with a percentage value of 83.99%, with aspects: 1) students' perceptions of facilities and infrastructure workshops in the category of very good value percentage of 87.08%, 2) students' students' percentage with a percentage of 81.94%, 3)  students' students 'The implementation of closure is a percentage of the value of 86.07%.Based on the findings, students' perception of enforcement activity Wood Craft pact department at SMK N 8 Padang rated good (83.99%), with an aspect; 1) the perception of a very good  infrastructure (87.08%), 2) the preparation of good practice (81.94%), 3) the perception of  implementation of good practice (82.37%), and 4) the perception closure excellent practice (86.07%).Keywords: Perceptions of students, learning practices

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to get information and to describe about: the factors which effect to interest of students in choise Mata Kuliah Paket Kriya Anyam Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa in Jurusan Seni Rupa FBS UNP Padang. The subject of research is the students of Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa FBS UNP Padang. While the kind of research is quantitative wiht use descriptive metodh for disriptive or know the factor inner urge, the factor of social motif, factor emosional which effect interest student on the choice mata kuliah paket Kriya Anyam. The source in this research is primary data which is taken directly from the respondent trough questionnaire. To technic analyze the data uses descriptive, analysis with descriptive percent of frekuency and mean by using SPSS version 16,00 Program. The findings of the study showed that the factor inner urge is the good factor with percent 47,73 %. The factor of social motif is the good factor with percent 50 %. factor emosional is the good factor with percent 47,7 % effect interest student on the choice mata kuliah paket Kriya Anyam.

Abstract

The purpose of making this final works was to express about the mother’s love and a child, that becoming inspiration in this graphic’s art work with stencil print technique. The method of creating art works used five preparation’s stage. they were elaboration, synthesis, concepts’ realization and completion also the last stage was exhibition of graphic works.
