Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in student learning outcomes on theme 7 class IV SD 4 Hadipolo through the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Bulusan dio-rama. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were 25 students in grade IV SD 4 Hadipolo for the 2021/2022 academic year. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. Quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect of pre-cycle science content by 56%, increasing by 68% in cycle I and 84% in cycle II. The pre-cycle Indonesian content achieved 60% classical learning mastery, increased by 72% in cycle I and increased by 88% in cycle II. There was an increase in the results of the observation of the pre-cycle students' skills from 63.6 to 74.64 in the first cycle, an increase of 85.03 in the second cycle. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by the Bulusan diorama can improve student learning outcomes in theme 7 class IV SD 4 Hadipolo.

Abstract

Thinking skill is one of the skills that must be possessed by elementary school students. This research aims to improve students' creative thinking skills using science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning models. The method used in this research is the classroom action research method. This method has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 27 students, consisting of 15 male students and 12 female students. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The research instrument used was the teacher activity observation sheet and the student activity observation sheet. The results of this research indicate that there is an increase in students' creative thinking skills from pre-action to cycle 1 by 10.75%. The increase in students' creative thinking skills also occurred in cycle 1 to cycle 2 by 8.24%. The application of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning models can improve students' overall creative thinking skills by 18.99%. Therefore, this research can be used as a reference for teachers in implementing science learning to apply science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning models so that students become more active in participating in learning and can facilitate the needs of elementary school students in improving their thinking skills.

Abstract

Metode Riset ini menggunakan research and development (R&D) Borg and Gall. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kelayakan hasil pengembangan Worksheet praktikum IPA Terpadu berbasis literasi lingkungan dan kemampuan proses sains. Parameter kelayakan Worksheet dilihat atas aspek kualitas dan keterbacaan ide pokok.  Penilaian pada tes kualitas dengan judgement expert oleh 13 peserta yang ahli. Instrumen validasi kualitas Worksheet menggunakan lembar checklist dan responden keterpahaman ide pokok yaitu siswa kelas VII.. Instrumen  yang digunakan merupakan  tiga macam  pertanyaan dan satu macam  pernyataan yang berupa  perintah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan hasil rata-rata uji kelayakan Worksheet praktikum IPA  yang telah dianalisis menghasilkan nilai kelayakan Worksheet praktikum dengan kategori layak. Jadi Worksheet praktikum IPA terpadu layak digunakan sebagai buku panduan utama taupun sebagai buku suplement dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan praktikum.

Abstract

Teacher competence is the ability of teachers consisting of personal, social, pedagogic, and professional abilities related to the profession they carry. This teacher competency is measured through a teacher certification program. Teacher certificates can be obtained in several ways, depending on the year the teacher was certified. This study aims to describe the competence of teachers who have been certified through professional teacher education and training, especially in learning natural sciences in primary schools. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This method has three stages, namely: the description stage, the reduction stage, and the selection stage. The research data sources are seven teachers who have been certified through education and professional training for teachers. Data collection techniques used are documentation and observation. The research instrument used was a lesson plan document that had been made by the teacher and an observation sheet on the implementation of natural science learning carried out by the teacher in the classroom. The results of the study can show that teachers who are certified through professional teacher education and training have competence in making lesson plans and implementing natural science learning in the sufficient criteria. Therefore, this research can be used as a reference in maintaining the competence of certified teachers through professional teacher education and training by making lesson plans and assessing their abilities when carrying out classroom learning. The competence of certified teachers needs to be maintained regularly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' reading comprehension skills on the theme of the beauty of togetherness through the application of the Direct Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) model for the fourth grade of the State Elementary School 011 Pulau Jambu. The subjects in this study were 1 teacher and 24 fourth grade students at SDN 011 Pulau Jambu. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, tests, and documentation. Can be seen from before the act of students learning completeness of 29,17% was in the less category with an average 60,21. In the first cycle, it increased to 54,17% in the sufficient category with an average of 67,81. Then in the second cycle, it increased to 83,33% in the very good category with an average 86,46 .Thus, it can be concluded that the Direct Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) learning model can improve students' reading comprehension skills on the theme of the beauty of togetherness in class IV at SDN 011 Pulau Jambu.

Abstract

The learning model of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics is a learning model that integrates science, technology, methods or techniques, and mathematics in one lesson. This learning model is believed to be used to improve creative and critical thinking skills of primary school students. This study aims to determine how much influence the learning model of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics has on the creative and critical thinking skills of fourth grade primary school students. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. This method has nine stages, namely: literature review, identifying and limiting research problems, developing research hypotheses, making research designs, conducting pretests, conducting experiments, conducting posttests, processing and analyzing data, and drawing conclusions. The research sample was 52 students, consisting of 26 students in the experimental class and 26 students in the control class. The data collection technique used is a test of students' creative and critical thinking skills. The research instrument used was a student's creative and critical thinking skill test sheet. The results of the study can show that the learning model of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics has a significant effect on creative and critical thinking skills of fourth grade primary school students. Therefore, this research can be a reference in applying science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning models that can improve students' creative and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out how the implementation of an ethnopedagogical approach based on local wisdom towards thematic learning in classroom teachers. The research method is field research (Field Research). The subjects of this study were teachers at SDN 1 Gampong Mesjid, Nurussalam District. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, interview/ interview techniques and documentation techniques. The findings of the research show that education based on local wisdom provides a positive response from teachers and students, this is because students can know and understand the content of Acehnese local wisdom contained in learning in schools. Covering theme 6 (Energy and its Changes) Class III through making banana sales, theme 4 (Always saving energy) Class IV through making Acehnese traditional houses, theme 6 (Heat and its displacement) Class V through making Acehnese adee cakes, theme 8 (My Earth) Class VI through Keuneunong custom, a calendar or calendar, theme 9 (Exploring Outer Space) Class VI through Keuneunong to determine the stars.

Abstract

This learning aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through a realistic learning model in class IV SD Negeri 7 Samalanga, which has a total of 21 students. This research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. The results of the research cycle 1 showed that the activities and student learning outcomes of student learning outcomes were still low. Student learning activities based on the observations of 2 observers obtained a value of 79% and were still in the sufficient category. The acquisition value of the final test of cycle I, it is known that only 5 students achieved class completeness with a grade passing percentage of 23.80%. Therefore, the researcher continued the research into cycle II. In cycle II there was an increase in both the activity and student learning outcomes. Acquisition of scores on student learning activities 93.33% is in the very good category, as well as student learning outcomes tests increased to 85.71%. This means that cycle II has been successfully carried out both in terms of process and student learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that the results of a realistic mathematics learning model can increase the activity and results of students' mathematics learning.

Abstract

The problem in this study was that SDN JATISARI 2 experienced learning difficulties during PTMT. As a result, PTMT must be implemented to counteract the negative effects of online learning. SDN JATISARI 2 made every effort to implement PTMT effectively even though at that time the facilities and infrastructure were still lacking. This study uses qualitative research methods as its main methodology. The conclusion of this study is that the learning interest of SDN Jatisari 2 Bekasi City students while participating in PTMT based on several standard indicators can be described as follows: the expression of feeling happy is 14.35%, the concentration of attention is 38.8%, participation is 19.3%, and initiative is at 13.2% , and third during the learning process at SDN Jatisari 2 students are enthusiastic in learning because the teacher is more assertive, so that the majority of students are active when learning with limited face-to-face.

Abstract

This study describes the implementation of online peer assessment which was carried out in blended learning in Information and Communication Technology courses in elementary schools involving 143 students. The online peer assessment is carried out through 6 stages, namely 1) the design stage, 2) the perception leveling stage, 3) the task collection stage, 4) the assessment stage, 5) the assessment objection stage, and 6) the value determination stage. Each stage is described qualitatively. Through online peer assessment, students are more actively involved in the learning process, easing the lecturer's task in conducting assessments, and the learning outcomes obtained show high scores so as to help achieve learning objectives.
