Abstract

This research shows that the importance of the teacher creativity through learning style in improving the students performance learning outcomes.The teacher as profesionals in the field of education, in addition to understand philosophical and conceptual matters, and to know and implement technical matters. There are some technical matters especially the activity of managing and implementing of teaching and learning interaction. In the managing activity of teaching and learning interaction, the teacher as much as possible to facilitate the students to gain the learning experienc. It can be realized with the creativity of teachers (held a variety of teaching and use media) in using the model of learning, so that with the creativity of teachers can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of the open-ended problem approach to the students’ mathematics learning outcomes at grade VII SMP Muhammadiyah Walattasi, Soppeng Regency. The researcher used 2 classes; experimental and control class. This study used a Nonequivalent Control Group Design with quasi-experimental type. The research population is students of grade VII SMP Muhammadiyah Walattasi, Soppeng Regency. Learning outcome data is processed using independent T-test samples through normality prerequisite tests (Kolmogorof Smirnov) and homogeneity tests for variance in statistical tests with significance level (α = 0 .05). Data were processed by utilizing SPSS version 23 software. The results of hypothesis testing indicated that Tcount Ttable or 4,561 2,011, like to see sig data. (2 tailed) the experimental class and the control class 0,000 0.05, Based on these results, it could be conclude that there is an influence of the open-ended problem approach to the students’ mathematics learning outcomes at grade VII SMP Muhammadiyah Walattasi, Soppeng Regency. Kata Kunci: open-ended problem; Students’ Mathematics learning outcome

Abstract

The concept of Ibnu Maskawaih's education about the power and humanity of human thinking, he conclude that in humans there are three forces, they are: an-nafs al-bahimiyah (animal passions) is worse force, an-nafs as-sabuiyah (lust beast) in the middle force, and an-nafs an-nathiqiyah (intelligent soul) is good force. His concept of moral education is the obligatory education for each individual to sharp the power and capabilities of the human. According to his concept, environment will affect the education. Then, a good environment is the environment in which there is a harmonious relationship between all the components that exist in the environment. The concept of Ibn Khaldun's education about the power and ability of human thought that he laid the ratio (reason) at its central point. With human ratio, human can think and can produce science. In the process of education, morality is very important, therefore it cannot educate in a violent manner. Therefore, his thinking challenged the environment that the environment greatly influenced the human in carrying out his social function in the midst of society.

Abstract

The role of teachers in improving student learning motivation is one of the integral activities that must be in learning activities. In addition to providing and transferring teacher knowledge is also tasked to improve children's motivation in learning. It cannot be denied that student learning with others is very different, that's why it is important for teachers to always motivate students so that students always have the spirit of learning and being able become students who excel and can develop themselves optimally. The learning process will succeed if students have motivation in learning. Therefore, teachers need to foster optimal student motivation. Teachers are demanded to be creative to arouse student learning motivation. Learning motivation is meaningfulness, value, and the benefits of learning learning activities are quite interesting for students to do learning activities.

Abstract

This journal discusses about the performance of the principal. Assessment is a systematic effort of collecting, organizing, managing and interpreting data, facts and information (which can be accounted for) with the aim of concluding the value or rating of one's competence in one type or area of expertise of the educational personality such as the principal. The performance of the principal is the work done by the principal in carrying out the main tasks, functions and responsibilities in managing the school he or she is in. Procedures to be passed in the performance appraisal are working procedures and work steps since the process of understanding the performance starts from composing instruments and piloting, collecting data, analyzing data and preparing reports. The results of the principal's performance appraisal are used to improve the professionalism of the principal.

Abstract

Teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, evaluating, and evaluating students in early childhood education through formal education, basic education, and secondary education. Abstract

In a learning process, each students has different level of capability in mastering the teaching materials. For those who belong to the fast learner group and are able to achieve mastery learning earlier, ideally they need an additional learning activities to develop their skills more optimally. One of such learning activities is commonly known as the enrichment programs. Then, one of the learning challenges that can be applied in this enrichment program is proposing problem solving tasks to foster students' high order thinking skills. Based on the characteristics, it is revealed that PISA problems or PISA-like tasks has characteristics that are very in accordance with the characteristics of the rocemmenced enrichment problems. So that is why PISA problems or PISA-like tasks could be highly regarded as the enrichment tasks for students who have achieved early learning completeness. PISA mathematics problems or PISA-like mathematics tasks is expected to be able to optimize students 'mathematical literacy skills through activation of basic mathematical abilities, which in turn can help the success of enrichment programs in developing students' skills more optimally.

Abstract

This paper describes the Total Quality Management (TQM) planning process in Islamic education. Planning is needed in every process of activity. Without a clear long-term direction, an agency can not plan for quality improvement. Total Quality Management process in Islamic education is more or less the same as the Total Quality Management process in general, its by looking at input that is what is needed, desired, or expected from learners. Then, the process of learning can be seen how the level of quality of an educational institution that is how the quality of output.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the ability of students to write Arabic sentences (maharah kitabah) through project-based learning models in al-Jumlah material. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of the study were students at the second semester of IAIN Bone, which were from class PBA1, PBA2, PBA3, PS6, PGMI4, and PGMI 5. Data was collected through tests, observations, and interviews with instrument performance, observation guidelines, and interview guidelines. The data collected from the results of this study will be analyzed using qualitative data analysis.The results of the study show: 1) The application of project-based learning models in al-quantity material is carried out in several stages, starting from determining the theme of writing, determining sources, collecting material (writing rules) and mufradat (vocabulary), compiling sentences and discussing them collaboratively with members team, up to presenting in front of other teams. 2) Students are generally able to make al-Jumlah based on the elements of the sentence that have been learned. For example, making al-Jumlah Ismiyah consisting of mubtada' and khabar, al-Jumlah al-Fi'liyah consisting of fi'il, fa'il, and maf'ul by using sentences that are in accordance with the attached image and also able to write with the correct writing and harakat. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the project-based learning model can optimize the student achievement of high-level students in al-Jumlah material.

Abstract

This study presents research about the effectiveness of debate method to improve students speaking skill to the students of second grade of exact of MA in Islamic Boarding School Al-JunaidiyahBiru Bone. In conducting the study, the researcher used quantitative method because the researcher conducted the data in form of numbers. And the way collected data by using pre-experimental design with pre-test and post-test and questionnaire. The purpose of this method was to carry out an experiment whether teaching speaking by using debate method if effective to the students speaking skill or not. After the data was collected and the result of the test was obtained to prove the hypothesis and to establish the validity, the researcher analyzed the value of t-observation. It was proved by the result of students test. The table showed that the mean score obtained by the students in the post-test (2.470) was greater than the mean score of the students in pre-test (1.529). The data of score of interest through questionnaire indicated that eight students or 47.058% whose score were in very high, seven students or 41.176% whose score were in high, two students or 11.764% whose score were in moderate. Debate method gave better result to improve the students speaking skill. In other words, debate method was effective and interesting to use in teaching English speaking.
