Abstract

This study aims to improve the acquisition of Arabic vocabulary in early childhood with singing techniques. Children of all ages are basically happy to listen, sing and learn with songs. Therefore, music in general is an important part of the teaching-learning process for young students. The results showed that early childhood students enjoyed learning Arabic by singing and it was easier to remember the vocabulary taught by the teacher. Thus, it can be concluded that  the singing technique is able to improve the mastery of early childhood Arabic vocabulary especially for students of the Raodhatul Athfal Ma'had Hadits Al-Junaidiyah Blue Bone.Keywords: Singing technique, vocabulary mastery, Arabic

Abstract

This research aims to know how Arabic dictionary affective in translating Qiraah by using android application. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Meanwhile, the population of this research is the second semester academic year 2016/2017 with purposive sampling as a technique to collect the sample is PS 6. The data were collected by using test, observation, and interview. The instrument of this research is performance instrument, observation guidance, and interview guidance. The data collection have done from the result of this research would be analyzed by using qualitative data analyzed. The result of this research showed that 1). Based on the performance of the students in general were able to translate Qiraah that have been prepared. 2). The result of interview showed that the students easy to find out the meaning of each mufradat so that by using this method in translating the Arabic text at the previous meeting. As the result, this application is very helpful in translating.

Abstract

Supervision is a professional supervision, because it is also more specific in addition to observing academic activities that are based on scientific ability, and the approach is no longer the usual management supervision, but more demanding democratic and humanistic professional abilities by education supervisions. Supervision carried out by supervisors using group techniques, namely through activities such as: orientation meetings, teacher meetings, group studies between teachers, discussions as an exchange of thoughts or opinions, workshops, sharing of experiences, panel discussions, seminars and symposiums. In addition to group supervision techniques used also use individual techniques. Individual supervision techniques used by supervisors in carrying out teaching supervision programs such as class visits, classroom observations, intervisitation, self-assessment, teaching demonstrations, and supervision bulletins. Based on the implementation of various academic supervision techniques, the teacher is expected to have competence so that the learning process is conducive.

Abstract

This research focused more about developing cultural awareness especially in language classroom. Many conflicts happened around us as the effect of lack of different culture awareness. So cultural discussion become the important subject in this world and not except for language classroom. But many teachers now assume that culture and language must be taught separately. This of course waste many times and is not effective in teaching both subjects. The purpose of this research is to describe the relevance of culture and language, and offer one strategy to teach culture in language by using bingo break or vice versa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of physical fitness of students of SMAN 9 Bone District. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach. The population in this study was 418 students of SMAN 9 of Bone Regency including 266 female and 152 male students. Meanwhile, this study applied a random sampling technique. Then the sample was taken using random sampling technique involving 40 male and 40 female students. Data was collected by using the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) measurement and test instrument for ages 16-19 years old. All the test items were carried out at one time. The result shows that among 40 male students, there were six students or 15% who were in the excellent category, 16 students or 40% on the good category, eight students or 20% on the fair category, six students or 15% on the poor category, and the rest four students or 10% of the total sample studied on the very poor category. Whereas for the female students, among 40 female students, there were four students or 10% on the excellent category, 16 students or 40% on the good category, there were; four students or 10 % on the fair category, 12 students or 30% on the poor category, and four students or 10% of the total sample studied on the very poor category.

Abstract

One of the obstacles in the implementation of online learning during Covid-19 pandemic is the lack of lecturers and students’s readiness in mastering e-learning support applications. In addition, the large amount of assignments precisely can trigger students’ psychosocial stresses that may diminsih the online learning effectiveness. The lecturers, therefore, are required to be more creative to make an interesting learning, including in Arabic learning.  Karrona, an innovative learning strategy, is a song media-based method focusing on strengthening the understanding of qawāid substance that is applied to overcome the ineffectiveness of online learning Arabic. This study then aims to investigate how the effectiveness of Karrona strategy to increase qawāid understanding and to improve vocabulary mastery in online Arabic learning during pandemic covid-19. This research employed a mixed method design, involving the mixing of both quantitative and qualitative approach. This study involved 176 students of IAIN Bone as well as used observation and questionnaires techniques to collect the data. The major findings of this study show that the Karrona strategy is briefly effective in increasing student interest and motivation to learn Arabic. Moreever, this strategy can improve students’ qawāid understanding and mufradāt mastery.

Abstract

Islamic cultural history lesson generally contain historical aspects of Islam. The learning cultural history (SKI), however, often looks boring for manys students. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to implement active learning innovations with multiple strategies. This study aims to describe the implementation of the strategy reading guideand mind mapping in SKI learning at MAS Tarbiyatus Shibbyan.This is a quantitative field research involving 12 students. Data was collected through observation, interview, and literature review, which were then analyzed descriptively. The results show that the reading guideand mind mapping strategies had been well applied to the SKI subjects in Class XI so that they were able to foster student learning activities. However, in its implementation, it is necessary to develop learning by continuing to use these two strategies simultaneously by paying attention to aspects such as the material presented and the conditions of students in the class. In addition, innovation can also be carried out using reflective strategies that will help students reflect on attitudes that should be emulated or avoided in the series of historical events that are being studied.Keywords: active learning, map mapping, reading guide

Abstract

Teachers’ professionalism in educational institutions is of very importance because it is impossible that learning will run well and obtain satisfactory results if the teachers are not professional. Professionalism is even the key to the development of educational institutions in order to be able to run well. How is the portrayal of the development of MIM 10 Karang Angar? To answer this question, this study was conducted using a qualitative approach. The data were collected by means of observation, interviews and documentation techniques. This study concluded that the effort made by the regional leader of Muhammadiyah 10 Rejang Lebong in developing this educational institution was by restructuring the school ranging from the school principal to competent teachers in terms of both educational qualifications and teaching experiences. This breakthrough has a positive impact on the quality of learning and development of the school until present.Keywords: Institutional development, teache’’s professionalism, quality of  education.

Abstract

Questions, one of the content textbook’s components, play an essential role in a learning activity. Content analysis of the textbook very important to carry out for evaluating whether the questions used in schools have an effect on the development of mathematical literacy skills as an essential ability students should acquire in the mathematics learning process. Regarding this case, this study aims to analyze the characteristics of the questions in the 2013 Curriculum (K-13) textbook related to the potential development of mathematical literacy. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using content analysis approach, investigating 135 questions in the Comparison and Scale chapter in the revised edition of the Mathematics VII grade K-13 textbook. The results of the analysis show that the questions presented do not optimally contain the components of developing students' mathematical literacy. This can be seen from the component of context usage and mathematical processes (formulate, employ, and interpret) needed to solve these problems which are not yet optimally integrated.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the application of S}araf in reading yellow book using qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of the study were lecturers of science s}araf, lecturers of Qiraah and Mut}alaáh as well as students of  Arabic program at IAIN Bone. Data were collected through observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out in three stages continuously including data reduction, data display and conclusion/verification withdrawal stage. The results shows that S}araf learning materials are divided into three stages; S}araf 1, S}araf2 and S}araf 3 by using various methods, including lecturing, discussions, demontation of bags }rif and tadrib. Tadrib/exercise was carried out with bag exercise }rif, practicing to make sentences, analyzing the function and form of words and giving harakat to a reading.  The application of s}araf in reading the yellow book was began by giving harakat to a text to determine its meaning. S}araf, that has a study on the formation of the word is very instrumental in this case. Mastery of the bag will make it easier to read a reading, whether it has harakat or not. The understanding of an Arabic text is not limited to the mastery of any existing mufradat, but rather must pay attention to the form of the word used.
