Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the students motivated in learning reading comprehension. This research employed descriptive quantitative. The population of this research was the third semester of English Study Program in STAIN Watampone. This research used cluster random sampling. The sample of this research was 25 students. The data were collected by questionnaire. The result of the data showed that the students motivation in learning reading comprehension is 87.14 and it is categorized as strongly motivated. Therefore, it can be stated that motivation is one of the most essential factors that has a direct impact on the enhancing of reading comprehension, but the teachers need to know that the students are motivated differently.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) To find out whether or not the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic learning stylesincreases the students vocabulary. (2) To find out whether or not the students are interested in studying English by using Visual Auditory Kinesthetic learning styles. This research employed quasi experimental design. This research used cluster random sampling technique. The research data were collected by using two kinds of instruments namely: writing test for the students vocabulary achievement and questionnaire for the students interest. The results of the research were: (1) the implementation of Visual Auditory Kinesthetic learning styles in teaching vocabulary improve the students achievement as there is a significant difference vocabulary mean score of the experimental group in posttest was significantly higher than the control group (82.40 58.80). (2) The students interest in Visual Auditory Kinesthetic learning styles was categorized as very high. It can be concluded that the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic learning styles in the teaching process is effective to be implemented in improving the students vocabulary achievement and the students have high interest toward Visual Auditory Kinesthetic learning styles in teaching English vocabulary.

Abstract

Ki Hadjar Dewantara and Benjamin S. Bloom have different learning approach in term of psychological aspect in learning activities. Ki Hajar Dewantara tends to maximize the  potency of each individual i.e. (educate the head, the heart, and the hand) and the social-cultural totality in interacting with the environment with "sistem among: care and dedication based on love. In another hand, Benjamin S. Bloom emphasizes on behaviorism theory which believes that learning is an internal process includes memory, retention, information process, energy and other psychological aspects. From  the character learning, Ki Hajar Dewantara focuses on attitude of students, how they communicate, humanism, and the physical aspect of student. It integrates the art and cultural aspect in learning process while Benjamin S. Bloom streghtening the cognitive aspect of student by implementing behaviorism learning process.

Abstract

This research presents about the correlation between students interest in speaking and their speaking score at the sixth semester of STAIN Watampone. This research used quantitative method. The sample consisted of 40 students of the sixth semester of STAIN Watampone. In collecting data, the researcher got the students data by using questionnaire. In this research has one problem, it is How is the correlation between students interest in speaking and the level of students speaking score?. The result of the study shown that the result of students interests score is 100. It means that the mean score of students is greater than 30, it is indicate that the effect of students interest is positive. Students speaking score is 84.7 It means the level of students speaking score is very high. From the data could be conclude that there is correlation between students interest in speaking and the level of students speaking score at STAIN Watampone and there is significant. Therefore, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted.

Abstract

Regression analysis is frequently used to study forecasting and relation between some variables. In studying forecasting and relation between some variables using regression, needed the best model. This research aim to multiple regression modelling for data in emotional intelligence studies and applied to the case for identified of factors influence the student emotional intelligence in Institut Agama Islam Negeri Bone. The research objective was knowledge the best regression linear model and factors influence to the emotional intelligence. The results showed the best regression linear model to knowledge influence factors of the student emotional intelligence in Institut Agama Islam Negeri Bone is, i = 77.6 + 0.468X1i + 0.295X2i + 0.35X3i. Based on this model, imagination, cognition, and personalityis significant influence to the emotional intelligence.

Abstract

The research is a research and development. The subjects of this research are the professional of education media, the professional of guidance and counseling, the guidance and counseling teacher or practical in the school and student. The technigue of collecting data are used with inquiri and interview the resultang from. This research of this development are (i) the description of result the level necessary guidance and counseling teachers and student about the development further study plan module indicate that the students need very much the module of the development of planning the study of continue. From inquiry result are got precentase level the necessary student in the amount 90,33%. (ii) The further study plan module for SMP/MTs student have passed validation test phase and acceptabilities by professional (the professional education media and guidance and counseling professional), and small group test by guidance and counseling teacher and students. With result for validating test by professional are got 3,19 on the average it is mean that are developed very valid. Meanwhile acceptability test (usability, feasibility, and accuracy) from the professional/expert subjects are got 3,41 on the average it is mean that very acceptable. While acceptability test (usability, feasibility, and accuracy) by the small grouf test (guidance teacher and students) obtained the average each 3,65 and 3,42 it is mean that very acceptable.

Abstract

Educational is a process o transferring o knowledge (science, technology and art) by teachers/lecturers to students. Moreover, education is atool to change the way of thinking from the traditional way to the scientific way. One important component in educational activities is the principal and teachers. The emergence of various books in the science o education management as a learning effort or principal and teacher do not make them aware of the contents of the book. In general, the science of education management books is more theoretical. Sekolah Cinta by Edi Sutarto tried to approach readers in the unique way. Its uniqueness lies on the content of the book which is not just a book of management education science but it is present as literature valuable work. This book provides a solution to the problem of the face of education in Indonesia by applying the approach see-do-get. In addition, the mindset change movement concept known as unfreezing-moving-freezing organizational cycle.

Abstract

This research is an explanation which shows that Islamic Education (PAI) teacher must have competenced such as pedagogic, social, personality, propesionalisme, in carrying out the learning process of PAI teacher, before implementing learning firstly arrange the lesson plan, and evaluate it. The Cultivation of Moral Value conducted by the teacher of PAI, doing the study of the Qur'an, pesantren kilat, and social service. Supporting and inhibiting factors are teachers, curriculum, parent participation, family environment, community environment, and the flow of modern globalization. The solution of parent's cooperation with teachers in instilling the values of good and / or honorable both in school and family and anticipate the association in public life. The implications of this research are: 1) The general teachers and teachers of PAI in particular, to further improve the competence and methods in learning, 2) The efforts that have been done by PAI Teacher in instilling the values of the noble character of the learners who are deemed to be effective are worthy to be maintained and developed. 3) The obstacles faced in the effort to cultivate the values of morals in the students must always diminimasir always evaluate, with improving learning facilities, establish cooperation and active communication between teachers, local government and local communities.

Abstract

This research shows the importance of applying character education to extracurricular activities through habituation methods. Extracurricular activities are educational activities outside the subjects to assist the development of students according to their needs, potential, talents, and interests through activities specifically organized by capable educators or education staff who have authority in schools. Therefore, in order to accelerate the implementation of character education as a reflection of the implementation of national education goals, namely by applying character education into the curriculum of educational institutions or extracurricular activities through habituation methods that aim to develop potential, talent, interest, ability, personality, cooperation and independence optimally students who in the end have good character.

Abstract

One of the mandates of the founders of the Indonesian nation as outlined in the 1945 constitution was to educate the life of the nation. One of the efforts taken to fulfill this very goal is through the world of education. Education is the main key to encourage the improvement of the quality of human resources so that they can compete with other nations. Through early childhood education institutions, the government and the community have taken a very big role in the development of education in Indonesia. Early childhood education institutions can easily emerge, grow, and develop, considering the formation process is quite easy. There are so many early childhood education institutions that have sprung up even like mushrooming, not only in big cities but in remote rural areas. Indeed, this has become a distinctive achievement for this nation, given that community participation is very high in playing a role in the world of education through the establishment of various early childhood education institutions. Apart from all these positive aspects, several problems emerged regarding these early childhood education institutions. The biggest problem is the management of facilities, this is due to the lack of knowledge of the managers of early childhood education institutions on the development and management of infrastructure and the use of learning resources.
