Abstract

The development of science and information technology has an impact on the emergence of various sources of learning. The development of learning resources will be better if it utilizes technology (digital form), so that it is more effective and efficient in use, for example, digital books (e-books). Currently, there are still many e-books in circulation without regard to the needs of students. The basic of education has described various components of the needs of students in learning. A good e-book is a learning resource that meets the basic components of educational science. For this reason, it is necessary to find out whether the e-books that are circulating are in accordance with the various needs of students in the components of the basic of educator science. The solution to this problem is to analyze the extent to which e-books meet the basic components of educational science. This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The population data in this study is a physics e-book for high school. The sample in this study were eight physics e-books used in learning physics in high school. The data in this study were taken using a research instrument that has 7 components which are broken down into 22 assessment indicators and data collection techniques used are through observation. The results of this study indicate that the average suitability obtained for each component of the educational science basic in physics e-book 1 has a value of 100% with a very complete category. In e-book physics 2 has a value of 57% with enough categories. In e-book physics 3 with a value of 71% with a complete category. In physics e-book 4 with a value of 86% with a very complete category. In physics e-book 5 with a value of 43% with a very sufficient category. In physics e-book 6 with a value of 57% with a very sufficient category. Finally, in physics e-book 7 and physics e-book, 8 with the same value of 100% with a very complete category meets the basic components of educational science

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of educational foundations in developing modules on science and physics learning. The research method used is a survey with a sample of twenty articles in this case journal. Based on the results of the analysis of the article, obtained the implementation of the educational foundation of education in the development of effective modules in the learning of Science and Physiology. This effectiveness is seen from the level of education, learning materials and educational landscapes used in learning activities. The technical or cultural foundation is more effectively applied to the module compared to other standards. modules that are implemented with an educational foundation are more effective if applied at the high school level compared to the junior high school level. Judging from the Physics learning material, modules that are implemented with an educational foundation give a greater influence on wave material.

Abstract

Pendidikan mempunyai peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. SMA 1 Bukittinggi merupakan sekolah RSBI dimana dalam proses pembelajaran harus menyelaraskan dengan misi kota Bukittinggi yaitu pendidikan berbasiskan akidah. Dalam pelaksanaannya pembelajaran fisika diperlukan pendekatan, metoda dan model yang terintegrasi. Setelah semua kelas telah menjadi RSBI pada tahun 2010, mulai muncul permasalahan dalam pembelajaran diantaranya menurunnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar, disamping teramati adanya penurunan dibidang akhlak. sehingga dipilih model Quantum Teaching berbasis ikhlas sebagai metode dalam mencari solusi untuk memecahkan masalah dalam pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Clasroom Action Research), yaitu perpaduan antara tindakan (action) dan penelitian (research) suatu bentuk penelitian yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran. Penelitian dibagi dalam empat tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan (planning), tindakan (action), observasi (observation) dan tahap refleksi (reflection), Keempat tahap dalam penelitian tindakan tersebut membentuk sebuah siklus, yaitu satu putaran kegiatan yang kembali kebentuk asal. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus yang diterapkan pada kelas X 8 SMA 1 Bukittinggi. Model pembelajaran diterapkan dalam bentuk sillabus, RPP, Hand out, student worksheet, angket dalam rangka melihat peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran quantum teaching berbasis ikhlas berhasil meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa baik kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Perangkat divalidasi oleh pakar dan teman sejawat dan tindakan diobservasi oleh observer serta angket ikhlas oleh siswa menggambarkan kenyamanan dalam belajar.   Keywords: Quantum Teaching, RPP, Hand Out, Student worksheet

Abstract

Physics learning is a natural science that studies phenomena and events in nature. The concept of physics will be better understood by directly observing the events in the surrounding environment. Learning in nature, especially in tourism which is called by edupark will be learning the fun and motivating student to better understand the concepts of physics. Teachers are required to be creative and innovative in the provision of teaching materials that utilize technology. Therefore a analysis of independent student on aspects of knowledge, skills and style of learning. The data of this study were taken with questionnaires with students at SMAN 1Talamau, SMAN 1 Pasaman and SMAN 2 Pasaman. Analysis of preliminary describe the student has not been independent and has not been able to resolve the problem that is encountered in learning, students enjoy the learning on the tourism and students like learning with electronic books (e-book). For this reason, it is necessary to carry out research into the development of an integrated e-book edupark to improve student learning independence.

Abstract

Physics is a branch of natural science that studies natural phenomena. The earthquake was one  of the natural disasters that often hit the city of Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of independence of student activity sheet integrated physics material for earthquake disaster mitigation based on a virtual laboratory. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Qualitative method is a method used to get data that contains meaning. The instrument in this study was the student questionnaire. The student questionnaire consisted of a questionnaire of independence, learning style, and earthquake disaster mitigation. The results of the independence questionnaire showed that the independence of students in the physics learning process was not optimal, the learning style of students was more dominant with the visual learning style, and the earthquake disaster mitigation of students was not optimal. So that the development of the student activity sheet based on a virtual laboratory is carried out

Abstract

The era of revolution 4.0 requires superior and quality human resources. The learning of the 21st century is a form of the goal of the intellectual life of the nation. Physics is a part of natural science which is natural phenomenon. Physics is one of the subjects related to intellectual intelligence that plays a major role in supporting science and technology, so educators as facilitators in learning must be moved to be able to design and implement education that is more directed at the fostering of physics concepts that can support and be useful in everyday life. The realities in the field of physics learning approaches and the selection of teaching materials used are still not optimal. One alternative to overcome the problem is to analyze the needs of students and develop teaching materials with the STEM approach. The purpose of the study was to investigate the needs and development of STEM approach-based physical handouts. This type of research is research and development (R&D). Data collection instruments in the form of student questionnaire, learning activity questionnaire, SKL, and assessment. Based on data analysis, four analysis results can be found. First, the average value of students is still in the sufficient category so that it needs to be improved. Second, the analysis of learning activities in class obtained an average value of 67.44 in the sufficient category. Third, the SKL analysis as a reference for curriculum development obtained an average rating of 65.26 in the sufficient category. Fourth, the assessment analysis in the evaluation of learning was 82.28 in the good category. So that learning is needed in choosing the right approach and appropriate teaching materials that are very influential on the success of physics learning activities in the classroom

Abstract

Salah satu tuntutan KTSP bagi guru dalam pembelajaran adalah menggunakan model-model pembelajaran sesuai dengan karakteristik materi dan siswa. Namun kenyataannya di kelas, pembelajaran masih bersifat teacher centered dan guru kurang memfasilitasi siswa untuk bekerja dalam kelompok. Oleh karena itu pembelajaran harus terpusat pada siswa dan siswa harus terlibat secara aktif, kreatif, kritis dalam pembelajaran sedangkan guru lebih berperan sebagai fasilitator. Salah satu model yang dapat mengaktifkan siswa bekerja sama dalam pembelajaran adalah model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar Fisika siswa menggunakan model kooperatif tipe group investigation. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Lokasi penelitian SMA Negeri 2 Plus Sipirok. Subyek penelitian siswa kelas X-2 dengan jumlah 25 orang siswa. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus. Satu siklus terdiri dari enam langkah penelitian yaitu mengidentifikasi topik, merencanakan penyelidikan, melaksanakan penyelidikan, menyiapkan laporan, menyajikan laporan dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian adalah lembar observasi  dan bentuk tes hasil belajar untuk  siswa.Teknik analisis data adalah deskriptif. penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap Tahuan Ajaran 2011/2012. Hasil  penelitian setiap siklus menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar Fisika siswa. Aktivitas siswa meningkat dari kategori rendah pada siklus I meningkat menjadi kategori sedang pada siklus II dan meningkat lagi menjadi kategori tinggi pada siklus III. Sedangkan hasil belajar kognitif meningkat dari 36 % siklus I menjadi 68 % pada siklus II dan meningkat lagi menjadi 88 % pada siklus III. Hasil belajar afektif meningkat dari kategori rendah pada siklus I meningkat menjadi kategori sedang pada siklus II dan meningkat lagi menjadi kategori tinggi pada siklus III. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar Fisika siswa kelas X-2 SMA Negeri 2 Plus Sipirok.

Abstract

Facing the era of globalization, government then developed the 2013 curriculum. The characteristics of the 2013 curriculum were designed with the aim of creating students who meet 21st century competencies that emphasize the ability to think. To achieve that, all 2013 curriculum suggest discovery learning model. This model can be integrated in e-book teaching materials. This study aims to describe the characteristics of students as e-book users and the results of the analysis will be a reference in the development of e-book Physics High School based on discovery learning models. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with data collection instruments in the form of a student questionnaire consisting of four characteristics of students namely independence of learning, interest, motivation and learning style. From the results of the analysis it can be illustrated that students have a low level of independence, interest and motivation and the most dominant learning style is visual. These results indicate that the development of high school physics e-books based on discovery learning needs to be done by considering the learning style aspects when designing

Abstract

Education is one of the ways the government in realizing the ideals of the unitary state of Indonesia, which is to inspire the life of the nation. The problem that is often experienced is the mismatch between the existing learning model and the development of students who follow the times that have advanced like now so that, the learning model requires change. The government made changes to the curriculum in overcoming this problem, from the KTSP curriculum to the 2013 curriculum. The 2013 curriculum used a scientific approach that focused on student participants in finding and directing directly about the concepts and theories they were learning. The 2013 curriculum suggests several models in learning, one of which is the Problem Based Learning model. Problem Based Learning is a teaching method that is characterized by real problems as a context for students learning creative thinking and problem solving skills, and gaining knowledge. Based on observations in several Padang City High Schools, it was found that the student books owned were not based on the learning model requested in the 2013 curriculum, one of which was Problem Based Learning. The use of student books also cannot improve students' physical abilities. The development of student books is felt to be very necessary because of the teacher's limitations in explaining the material during learning so that it can complement and assist educators in presenting material with models based on the 2013 curriculum model and must contain creative thinking abilities, it is necessary to develop student books with creative problem-based learning models that oriented towards Problem Based Learning models and the ability to think creatively so that the problems obtained can be solved. Data collection uses electronic tracking with keywords, Student Books, Problem Based Learning and Creative Thinking. Data processing using Purpose sampling recorded 10 journals with the desired keywords selected with a 2013-2019 time span. The conclusion of this study is to develop student books using creative problem based learning models, it is possible that it can contribute not only to students' understanding of the material but also the ability of students to vary their answers so that in addition to enhancing the mindset of students also increases the understanding of the participants students themselves.

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is very possible for information systems to be able to convert the printed form to electronic form. These advantages can be used to develop an e-book as a media in learning Physics. This e-book is an ICT-based electronic media that can be used as a learning media. The purpose of this study is to describe the results of an analysis of media needs in schools, as a stage of initial investigation in the development of an e-book with the theme of coastal abrasion. This research used a descriptive method. The research subjects were the population of the students of SMAN 1 UlakanTapakis with the sample selected using a simple random sampling technique. The data from this study are primary data obtained through a questionnaire with data collection techniques using the Likert scale 1-4. The data analysis technique is in the form of descriptive statistics. The results of the analysis of media needs obtained an average percentage of 45.02% which was included in the category of lacking. On the other hand, the issue of coastal abrasion needs to be considered especially for students who live on the coast. For this reason, an instructional media in the form of an integrated abrasion beach is needed
