The focus of the study of this meta-analysis is the implementation of the educational science foundation in research-based teaching materials. Abstract

21st century physics learning makes students think critically, creatively and innovatively in mastering science concepts. The use of teaching materials and the selection of the right model determine success to achieve the expected goals in the physics learning process. The student worksheet based on inquiry based learning models can increase the activeness and independence of learning of students in investigating, discovering concepts, and being able to implement learning materials with their lives. This study aims to analyze a preliminary study of student worksheets based on inquiry based learning models in physics learning. This research is a descriptive study conducted through observation in high schools (SMAN 4 Padang) with the research sample being students of class X MIPA. Preliminary study analysis of student worksheets based on inquiry based learning models includes analysis of graduate competency standards, student analysis, analysis of learning activities, and assessment analysis. The instrument used in the study was in the form of questionnaires and interview sheets. The results showed that the analysis of graduate competency standards obtained an average value of 73.33, analysis of learners obtained an average value of 67.75, an analysis of learning activities obtained an average value of 70.63 and assessment analysis obtained an average value of 84.23. so, it is necessary to develop student worksheets based on inquiry based learning models

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational science foundation in the development of modules / e-modules based on the SETS (science Environment Technology Society) approach to physics learning. This research method is a meta-analysis with a sample of 20 articles in national and international journals. The results of this meta-analysis are research on the development of modules. Abstract

KTSP in high school physics teaching requires learning device according to the characteristics of the material. In reality not yet available learning devices that require students to think scientifically and found the concept itself. On the other hand, teachers are expected to conduct classroom-based assessments, one of which is the assessment of the portfolio, a collection of works by students that is organized by interest, progress, achievement, and creativity of students in a specified period. How the development of learning physics using guided inquiry equipped models portfolio assessment in a circular motion of matter has not been developed. The research objective is to develop the learning of physics using guided inquiry equipped models portfolio assessment at the circular motion of matter are valid, practical and effective.This type of research is the development of research using model 4-D. Research procedures are define stage set and define the conditions of learning such as analysis of curriculum, learner analysis and concept analysis. Design phase is to prepare the device prototype stage of learning and development is done validity, and effectiveness of the learning practicality. The validity of the data collection instrument is a validation sheet RPP, modules, worksheets and portfolio assessment. Practicality data collection instruments are observation sheets and questionnaires practicality. Effectiveness of data collection instrument is the observation sheet and portfolio assessment.Validity of test results of the study obtained an average percentage value validation RPP was 84.6%, the module is 82% and LKS is 82.8%, this means that the category of learning is very valid, while the conclusion is valid assessment form without revision. Furthermore, the practicality of obtaining test results mean percentage of the value of practicality by a teacher questionnaire on RPP was 98%, the module is 96.5% and LKS was 96% and the percentage of the average value of the practicality of a questionnaire by the students on the module is 87.4% and LKS is 89.8% with the learning tools category that developed very practical. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the test result is the average value of the class students in the cognitive 66.7, affective domains is 61.2, psychomotor domains is 68 and the percentage of the average effectiveness base students activity is 86,3% . Conclusion of research is learning software developed very valid, very practical and effective.

Abstract

The background of this research is a lack of physics concept understanding. The students who have not yet successed in applying information and knowledge logically, critically, creatively and innovately when making decisions. One of the solution for this problem is by implementating the cognitive conflict approach. The aims of this research are to: (1) investigate the differences cognitive conflict approach with expository approach to the physics learning achievement; (2) investigate the differences cognitive conflict approach with expository approach to student’s critical thinking skill; (3) investigate the relationship between critical thinking and physics learning achievement. This research was quasi experimental research which used Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this research is all of XI IPA SMA N 1 Lubuk Sikaping student listed in the 2010/2011 academic year. Samples were determined using cluster random sampling technique, and elected XI IPA 3 as the first experimental class and XI IPA 1 as the second experimental class. The data is collected through the learning achievement test and critical thinking test, and analyzed by t test and Pearson correlation techniques. The results of data analysis indicate that: (1) there is a significant differences of cognitive conflict approach with expository approach to the physics learning achievement, where the cognitive conflict approach can improve physics learning achievement higher than the expository approach; (2) there is a significant differences of cognitive conflict approach with expository approach to student’s critical thinking skill, where the cognitive conflict approach can improve student’s critical thinking skill higher than the expository approach; (3) there is a significant relationship between critical thinking and physics learning achievement. Abstract

Research conducted includes descriptive research. On descriptive statistics without analyzing and making conclusions that apply to the public. The population in this study are articles and online books analyzed. The samples in this study are some of the articles analyzed, taken according to the topic. Educational institutions, especially school path education, must be able to accommodate and anticipate the development of science and technology. Teaching material should be the result of the development of the latest science and technology, both related to the results of information acquisition, as well as how to obtain that information and utilize it for the community. With the advancement in technology, it is possible to produce interactive learning media that are interesting and fun for teaching and learning. As Suheri (2006) argues that multimedia gives a pleasant impression of helping the learning process in remembering and multimedia learning in the classroom is not a new phenomenon, but advances in computer technology enable multimedia to be developed to present learning material interactively

Abstract

Education is demanded to keep abreast of rapidly developing technology and utilize information and communication technology as more and more sophisticated facilities to facilitate the learning process. One that must be prepared by educators in the learning process is learning resources. Learning resources related to everything that allows students to experience the learning process. Physics is closely related to natural phenomena and their application in everyday life. Learning physics is more meaningful if you observe directly. The beach is one of the natural phenomena which is a physical concept that can be observed directly. The beach is a tourist destination for domestic and foreign tourists that can be used as edupark in the physics learning process. Edupark is an educational park that should be able to be used by educators as a source of learning for students. However, educators rarely use beach tourism as a learning resource. Utilization of local tourist destinations can be used in learning physics by implementing the development of science and technology that are developing now. According to the needs of students, so that information technology-based teaching materials can be used in the form of e-books. The use of e-books aims to help students understand the concepts of physics found on the beach. This research method is a meta-analysis with a sample of 20 international and national artists. This meta-analysis aims to analyze the interrelationship of educational science foundations in the development of Physics e-books.

Abstract

21st century education requires that it produces quality human resources. The government is trying to answer the challenges of 21st century education through the development of the 2013 curriculum. In physics and science learning, discussing process skills Improve students' science learning process can be understood by updating. Real conditions in schools show that teachers have difficulty in talking. One solution is to develop an assessment instrument in the form of a test instrument for skills in learning physics and science. This study tries to analyze the value of validity, different power, level of difficulty, and reliability of the process skills test instrument. The research method used is meta-analysis. The sample used was 12 articles consisting of 10 national articles and 2 international articles. The research instrument used was an observation sheet complete with coding. The results were obtained for validity of 0, 75. The value of the difference in power was 0.30. Difficulty value is 0.45. The reliability value is 0.73. Can be refined tests developed can be used.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum, which began in effect in the 2013/2014 school year, emphasizes the formation of spiritual and social attitudes, knowledge, and skills of students. This is in line with the theory of multiple intelligence which explains that basically humans have a lot of intelligence. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the use of interactive multimedia physics modules assisted by games with the Problem Based Learning model toward multiple intelligence of students. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest. Data collection instruments used in this study were pretest and posttest sheets. The use of physics modules is said to be effective if there is an increase in student learning outcomes after using physics modules. Analysis of effectiveness using the N-Gain method and see an increase in multiple intelligence of students during three meetings using physics modules.The results of the data analysis showed that the interactive multimedia physics module assisted by game with the Problem Based Learning model was effective in increasing multiple intelligence of students. The effective physics modules is shown by the N-Gain value of 0.54 which is in the medium category and there is a tendency to increase multiple intelligence of students during three meetings using physics modules.
