Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan modul kimia materi sistem koloid berbasis Problem Based Learning yang valid dan praktis. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dan dievaluasi dengan metode evaluasi formatif Tessmer. Tahapan evaluasi formatif Tessmer dalam penelitian ini meliputi self evaluation, expert review, one- to-one dan small group. Analisis data uji kevalidan dan praktisan menggunakan uji validitas aiken. Uji validasi pada tahap expert review menghasilkan rata-rata nilai koefisien Aiken sebesar 0,86  dengan  katagori  tinggi (sangat valid). Rata-rata nilai koefisien Aiken uji praktisan pada tahap one-to-one sebesar 0,89 dengan kategori tinggi (sangat praktis) dan small group memperoleh nilai 0,77 dengan kategori tinggi (sangat praktis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul kimia materi sistem koloid berbasis problem based learning tergolong valid, praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa modul, RPP dan instrumen penilaian (soal postes). Untuk mengetahui kualitas media yang dikembangkan dilakukan uji validasi oleh ahli, uji coba perorangan terhadap kualitas modul oleh siswa dan uji coba kelompok kecil terhadap kualitas modul. Untuk menguji efektivitas media yang dikembangkan dilakukan uji coba produk melalui penelitian tindakan kelas pada kelas X TKR di SMK NW Anjani Lombok Timur. Hasil uji validasi ahli terhadap modul yang dikembangkan diperoleh rata-rata skor 3,21 dengan kriteria baik, hasil uji validasi ahli terhadap RPP diperoleh rata-rata skor 3,59 dengan kriteria sangat baik dan hasil uji validasi ahli terhadap soal postes diperoleh rata-rata skor 3,10 dengan kriteria baik. Uji coba kualitas modul dilakukan melalui uji coba perorangan dengan rata-rata skor 3,48 dengan kriteria sangat baik, uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh rata-rata skor 3,30 dengan kriteria sangat baik dan uji coba lapangan diperoleh nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 72,33 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 81,48%. Data hasil pengamatan dapat memberikan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan modul berbasis MMS dan sangat efektif digunakan pada siswa SMK.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of POGIL to creative thinking skilland conceptual understanding of students at senior high school. This researchform of quasi experimental was carried out by postest-only control groupdesign. Research conducted in SMAN1 Montong Gading using sample whichdetermined by saturated sampling technique, 24 number of XA class studentsas experiment class, and 24 number of XB class students as control class.Creative thinking skills data was collected by observation sheets andconceptual understanding data by reasoning multiple choices test. The resultsshowed that the average creative thinking skill of experimental class at the 1st,2nd, and 3rdmeeting was 64.388, 72.656, and 79.752.The mean of creativethinking skill of the control class at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rdmeeting was 59.765,67.447, and 73.476.The hypothesis test result of creative thinking skill datausing independent sample t-test it is known that significance value of t-countwas 0.040 < 0.05, and conceptual understaning data by paired sample t-test itis known that significance value of t-count was 0.000 < 0.05. So that, there isinfluence of POGIL model to student creative thinking skill and conceptualunderstanding.

Abstract

Chemical bonding was one of the subjects considered difficult by students, because it had submicroscopic concept that learns about the formation of bonds an element that was quite difficult for students to understand. The development of teaching material in the form of teaching materials was seen as a solution to this problem. This study aimed to develop chemical bondinginquiry modelsteaching materials with conflict cognitive strategies towards critical thinking skills. This studywas development research with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation)model design. The development results were validated by three expert validators, one practitioner validator and ten IKIP Mataram students as students' limited test validators. Quantitative data from the results of feasibility validation and the results of the assessment of student attitudes toward critical thinking skills were analyzed by percentage formula and the results of effectiveness test data were calculated by N-gain. Qualitative data in the form of responses and suggestions for improvement from the validator was used as a consideration to make revisions to the instructional materials developed. In general, the validator's assessment of the results of the development obtained an average percentage of 83.80%, 85.71%, 88% and 85.71%. While the results of the analysis of effectiveness using the N-gain test obtained an average score of 0.6 with the medium category and analysis. This showed that the teaching materials developed were very feasible to proceed to a broader and more effective stage to foster critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Acid-base material is one subject that is considered difficult by students. In addition, students are less able to associate material with a problem or phenomenon in everyday life. The development of a teaching material in the form of modules can be seen as a solution to this problem. This study aims to develop a prototype in the form of developing contextual-based chemical modules to build students' conceptual understanding of acid-base material. This research is a development research with ADDIE model design (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of the development were validated by two expert validators, one practitioner validator and ten MA Al-Mansyurati NW Aik Bukak students as students' limited test validators. Quantitative data from the results of feasibility validation were analyzed by percentage formula. Qualitative data in the form of responses and suggestions for improvement from the validator are used as considerations to make revisions to the modules developed. In general, the validator's assessment of the results of the development obtained an average percentage of material expert validators 88.8%, product design expert validators 95%, practitioner validators 92%, and limited trials of students 85.28%. This shows that the developed module is very feasible to proceed to the effectiveness test phase. Thus it can be concluded that the contextually based modules are declared to be feasible with very good quality.

Abstract

One of the chemistry conceptsthat was considered difficult by students was acid-base concept. Acid-base conceptwas closely related to everyday life and includes three representations of chemical levels, namely: macroscopic level, microscopic level and symbolic level, so students experience difficulty in learning it. The development of a teaching material in the form of LKS was seen as a solution to this problem. This study aimed to develop teaching materials in the form of POE LKS oriented to green chemistry to foster students' scientific attitudes towards acid-base concepts. This studywas development research with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation)model design. Quantitative data from the results of feasibility validation and the results of assessment of scientific attitudes of students were analyzed by percentage formula and the results of student responses were calculated using N-gain. Qualitative data in the form of responses and suggestions for improvement from the validator. The validator's assessment of the results of the development obtained an average percentage of 83.2%, 84%, 81.6%, and 78.93%. While the responses of students were analyzed using the N-gain test obtained an average score of 0.4 with a moderate category and students' scientific attitude data obtained an average score of 61% with moderate qualifications. This showed that the LKS developed was very feasible to proceed to a broader stage and effectively improve students' scientific attitudes.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk dan kelayakan Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Berbasis KAPRA Pada Materi Larutan Asam Basa Untuk Kelas XI SMA/MA yang telah dikembangkan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan konseptual ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Reiser dan Mollendayang dibatasi pada tiga tahap yaitu 1) tahap analyze, bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengembangkan pemahaman yang jelas tentang kebutuhan peserta didik 2) tahap perancangan (Design) bertujuan untuk menyiapkan perancangan bahan ajar berbasis KAPRA 3) tahap pengembangan (Develop) bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis KAPRA berupa modul  yang sudah direvisi berdasarkan masukan dari uji ahli validasi, uji praktisi, dan uji terbatas. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berupa Modul Kimia pada materi larutan asam basa dan divalidasi oleh 2 validator ahli dan validasi praktisi oleh 2 guru mata pelajaran kimia menggunakan instrumen validasi berupa angket serta diujicoba kepada 10 orang siswa SMA Negeri 6 Mataram. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Berbasis KAPRA Pada Materi Larutan Asam Basa Untuk Kelas XI SMA/MA ini sangat layak digunakan, terbukti dengan skor penilaian validasi ahli sebesar 90,90%, validasi praktisi oleh guru kimia sebesar 86,25% dan hasil uji coba terbatas siswa sebesar 81,47%.

Abstract

Buffer solution is a material that requires a fairly high analysis withan understanding of concepts that must be understood by studentsand requires practice in everyday life. Learning will be moremeaningful and provide a deep understanding to the learner if thelearning is adapted to the characteristics of the subject matter. Oneeffective solution is to apply the learning model POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) oriented Chemoentrepreneurship. The aim of thisresearch was to evaluatethe influence of learning model POE(Predict-Observe-Explain) oriented Chemoentrepreneurship tounderstanding the concept and. This research was conducted inMAN 2 Praya, the population in this research was student of MIAclass XI, sample was taken by using saturated sampling technique.The design of this research is prettes-posttest control group design.The instruments used to measure conceptual understanding weremeasured using objective tests. Hypothesis testing was performed byusing One-Way ANOVA test with SPSS 15.0 for windows. Based onthe results of the study can be concluded that: Application oflearning model of POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) orientedChemoentrepreneurship influence to understanding student concept.This is evidenced by the sig value. of 0.00 < 0.05.

Abstract

In the processing of rice into the rice used is rice that has been whased away, while the rice water thrown away because it was considered important that the rice water that is not used will be waste, it is necessary alternative in their utilization. The alternative is to make a food product by a fermentation process using bacteria Acetobacterxylinum called nata de leri. It is caused rice water contain nutrients such as carbohydrates, protein, and vitamin B1 or thiamine. This study aimed to compare the volume and optimum mass of nutrients at chemical characteristicts of nata de leri generated. This type of research was Pre-Experimental by varying nutrient source used was suger as a carbon source and tofu waste water as a source of nitrogen. In this research, was adding four variations of nutrient source that has been 100:25 (g/mL), 125:50 (g/mL), 150:75 (g/mL), 175:100 (g/mL). Furthermore, the analisisproksimat include moisture content, ash content, fat content, protein content, and carbohydrate content. Best treatment combination was obtained on the addition of nutrient source 125:50 (g/mL) which generate 78,7217% moisture content, ash content of 1,0707%, fat content of 0,5636%, protein content of 0,4776% and the carbohydrate content 19,1893%.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to evaluate correlation between students science process skill and learning achievement. In form of correlation research, this research was conducted at Chemestry Laboratory of IKIP Mataram in time of 2015-2018. Subject of this researh consists of 138 students who got basic II chemistry practice. Instrument of this research was guestionnaire and test. With 98,22% of validity, the instrument was highly eligible to used in data collecting. The data analyzed by product moment. The data analysis showed that rtest (0,1743) higher than rtable (0,1676). The research showed that there is significant correlation betwen science process skills and students learning achievement.
