<![CDATA[This research is based on the problems that exist at senior high school 10 Padang, namely the learning model that is less varied, students' learning competencies are still low. Efforts that can be done are applying the learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with scientific literacy in the Ecology material at senior high school 10 Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the learning model that Teams Games Tournamen (TGT) contained scientific literacy to the learning competencies of Grade X students of senior high school 10 Padang. This research is an experimental research with randomized control group posttest only design. The study population is the students of Grade X senior high school 10 Padang 2018/ 2019 academic year which spread into eight classes. Sampling research using simple random sampling. The results were selected class X.8 as experimental class and class X.5 as a control class. The hypothesis in this study was tested using the t-test. The results of the study using the t-test it can be concluded that the competency of students' knowledge of the value of tcount 3.34> ttable 1.67, in the competency attitude the value of tcount 2.15> ttable 1.67, the competency attitudes tcount 5.26> ttable 1.67, and the competence of value skills tcount 1.95> ttable 1.67. This shows that the hypothesis is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the application of TGT models with scientific literacy can improve the competency of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of class X students of senior high school 10 Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[Teaching and learning process is an interaction between the teacher and students that takes place in learning to achieve learning objectives.Teachers have limitations in teaching students, although there are still many positive things that can be obtained from it, some of the limitations are one of them, students who are less motivated to bring thick books due to weight and so on, in the learning process of Information Communication Technology (ICT) where the use of technology can be implemented in the collection of files and books that can be stored in e-learning media so that students do not need to carry thick and heavy books. Then the schoology-based e-learning learning media was developed for 10th grade high school students. This media development uses three stages of 4-D models. The object of this research is the learning media of barbarian schoology e-learning for 10th grade students. The media schoology was validated by 2 Biology Department lecturers from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and 1 Pariaman High School teacher, it was conducted to determine the practicality level of schoology media by the teacher and 10th grade students of Pariaman 1 High School. This research produces schoology-based e-learning media learning products about animalia material for grade X high school / MA students with very valid criteria for validity testing, and very practical criteria for practicality tests for teachers and students. So it can be concluded that the school-based e-learning learning media developed are valid and practical to use.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) is so rapidly affecting the use of electronic technology in learning. Teachers are expected to be able to use multimedia in learning. One example of multimedia utilization in learning is the application for learning media in addition to PowerPoint presentations, namely the Prezi application. Prezi is an application that is used to make presentations more interesting. Prezi can contain text, images, videos and other presentation media placed on the presentation canvas and can be grouped in frames that have been provided. Most of the teachers who are not able to apply multimedia especially the Prezi application, it is necessary to have a guidebook to use the Prezi application so that teachers and students are able to use the application as a medium for learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to produce learning media using the Prezi application equipped with a guidebook on biodiversity material for high school class X students who are valid and practical.This type of research is research and development development research using the Instructional Development (IDI) model. The object of this research is learning media using the Prezi application equipped with a guidebook on biodiversity material for class X students. The subjects of this study were 30 students of class X high school UNP Laboratory Development as the practicality of using the Prezi application and guidebook and validation by 2 people Biology Department lecturer FMIPA UNP and 1 Biology High School teacher Development UNP Laboratory.Based on the results of the study, it was found that the results of the validation showed an average value of 89.93 in the valid category. This shows that the learning media using the Prezi application equipped with a guidebook was developed valid both in terms of feasibility aspects of content, language, presentation and aspects of graphics. ]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to know the positive effect of think talk write model toward students’ learning competencies in grade XI MIPA SMA Kartika 1-5 Padang. The type of this research is quasi experimental with randomized control group posttest only design. Population of this research is all of students grade XI MIPA SMA Kartika 1-5 Padang which is registered in 2018/2019, acounted 158 students from five classes. It’s purposive sampling. The results were selected class XI MIPA 5 as experimental class and class XI MIPA 4 as a control class. The instruments used were in the form of questions posttest for knowledge competency, observation sheets for attitude and skills competency. The hypothesis in this study was tested using the t-test. The results of the study using the t-test it can be concluded that the competency of students' knowledge of the value of tcount 1,82> ttable 1.67, in the competency attitude the value of tcount is 2,30> ttable 1.67, and the competence of value skills tcount 1,80> ttable 1.67. This shows that the hypothesis is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the application of think talk write models with scientific literacy is positively affected toward students’ learning competency in SMA Kartika 1-5 Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[The low learning competencies of students is caused by several problems found during learning process, one of them is teacher centered. Learning through this way causes students to be inactive. One of the efforts made to improve student learning competencies is to apply a Problem Based Learning model. Learning with a problem based learning model requires students to be active. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning model to the learning competencies of Class VIII at SMPN 2 Padang Panjang.The type of this research is an experimental study with a control group posttest only design. The study population is all students of Class VIII SMPN 2 Padang Panjang. Sampling was done using purposive sampling technique, which was chosen as the research sample was Class VIII D as the experimental class and Class VIII E as the control class. The instruments used were in the form of posttest questions for knowledge competencies, observation sheets for attitude and skills competencies. The data analysis technique used in this study is the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing with t-test.Result of hypothesis in both class sample, found that class which use Problem Based Learning model have possitive effect to student learning competencies of Class VIII SMPN 2 Padang Panjang such asknowledge, attitude and skill competencies.]]>

<![CDATA[The Problem of the research at SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung was that the Biology learning process is less varied and teacher-centered, students were unable to solve problems in learning, low learning competencies of students from aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills,and low science literacy abilities of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying thinking aloud pair problem solving learning model with science literacy on students learning competencies in human reproductive system material at SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung.This type of research is an experiment with a randomized control group post-only only design. The population was all class XI of SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung which were registered in the 2018/2019.Sampling was done using cluster random sampling, and the chosen sample was the XI MIPA 2 class as the experimental class, and the XI MIPA 1 class as the control class. The instruments used were in the form of posttest questions for knowledge competency, observation sheets for attitude and skill competencies. Based on the results of the knowledge competency research, the tcount was 5.14> ttable 1.67, the competency attitude was tcount of 15.12> ttable 1.67, and in the competency of skills tcount was 9.45> t table 1.67. This is an aceppted hypothesis. It was concluded that the model thinking aloud pair problems solving with sains literacy improve the competencies of knewledge, attitude, and skills in the material of the human reproductive system at SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung.]]>

<![CDATA[Research on the problems that exist in Pariaman 4 Senior High School, student learning competencies are still low. The effort that can be done is to apply the cooperative learning model course review horay type with literacy content of SMAN 4 Pariaman. The purpose of this study was to study student learning through a cooperative model of course review horay type with literacy at SMAN 4 Pariaman. This type of research is experimental research with randomized posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA SMAN 4 Pariaman registered in 2018/2019. Sampling was done using the Simple cluster Sampling technique, which was chosen as the research sample was class XI IPA.1 as the experimental class and XI IPA.3 as the control class. The instrument used consisted of posttest questions for knowledge competencies, observation sheets for competencies and skills. The assessment hypothesis using the t-test, can prove the knowledge competency tcount 4.13> ttable 1.67, competency assessment value 80% with good categories and competency skills value tcount 3.21> ttable 1.67. This is an accepted hypothesis. It was concluded that the cooperative model of course review horay type with literacy opposed the competence of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of class XI IPA students of SMAN 4 Pariaman.]]>

<![CDATA[Researchers conduct research with the aim of determining the quality of goods in terms of analysis: 1) reliability, 2) content and empirical validity, 3) distinguishing features, 4) difficulty levels, and 5) differentiating functions. This research is descriptive research. Based on the results of data analysis, the results for review aspects: 1) reliability including high category, 2) empirical validity 52.5% valid and 47.5% invalid, 3) level of difficulty, 1 question (2.5%) category very easy , 11 questions (27.5%) medium category and 28 questions (70%) categorized as difficult, 4) Distinguishing power, obtained with different power values, namely 24 questions (60%) including good categories and 16 questions (40%) which not included in the good category, 5) the fraudulent option that does not meet the requirements is 7.5% and the one who meets the requirements is 92.5%. It can be concluded that the first semester midterm of Grade VII science subjects in SMP Negeri 34 Padang in the 2018/2019 academic year did not meet the criteria.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the problem of the low skills of problem solving students. In the learning process the teacher rarely trains students problem solving skills and currently Science literacy in Indonesia is low compared to other countries. The results of the preliminary test showed that the average problem solving skills of students was less than 50%. This study aims to look at the effect of the problem solving model on problem solving skills of grade VII students of SMPN 34 Padang. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with the Control Group Posttest Only Design. The study population was VII grade students of 34 SMPN Padang in the 2018/2019 academic year. The research sample of students in class VII 4 as the experimental class and VII 5 as the control class. Sampling using a porposive sampling technique. Instruments in the form of observation sheets observation of student activities to obtain data problem solving skills, observation sheets to obtain scientific attitude data, question sheets to obtain knowledge data. Based on the results of the students' knowledge competency research, the tcount 2,24> ttable 1,67. The activity of problem solving skills of students in the experimental class is higher than the control class. The conclusion of the study is that the application of the problem solving model has a positive effect on problem solving skills of grade VII students of SMPN 34 Padang.]]>
