Abstract

In the outdoor advertising strategy, the choice of the location of advertising is a major factor because this will determine how effective the range of advertising information displayed is received by the public. Determination of the exact location of billboard advertisements will then support the success of the promotions delivered. In this study using the SMART method so that decision making can be based on multi criteria. This research was conducted to find the best value from each billboard location, then the location sorting process is based on the highest value, which is the priority location for billboard advertisements. The results of this study are made a decision support system to determine the determination of the location of a billboard that is feasible, considered and has not been selected to be selected. Users can input billboard location data, criteria data, sub-criteria data. Then the system will find a solution using the SMART method. After the decision is obtained, the system will display the decision.

Abstract

This study discusses the influence of Customer Relationship Management which consists of 5 variables: commitment, trust, customer orientation / empathy, experience / satisfaction, and communication to customer loyalty. To find out whether the 5 Customer Relationship Management variables significantly affect customer loyalty, either partially or simultaneously, and to find out which variable has the most dominant influence on customer loyalty. This research was conducted at Irian Dept. Store & Supermarket Medan Marelan, with the study population being consumers who shop at Irian Dept. Store & Supermarket Medan Marelan with a total sample of 30 respondents. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed using the validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis, t test, and F test. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R2) amounted to 0.866, which means; the 5 customer relationship marketing variables affect the loyalty variable of 886.6%.

Abstract

Motor induksi merupakan jenis motor yang paling umum digunakan. Untuk mendapatkan motor induksi yang handal maka perlu dilakukan perancangan yang optimal. Banyak parameter yang mempengaruhi kehandalan dari motor induksi, baik itu dari segi efisiensi, keamanan dan ekonomi. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan simulasi untuk mengetahui bagaimana kualitas dari desain motor induksi yang dirancang. Pada penelitian ini, akan menganalisis medan putar motor induksi tiga fasa yang merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam kerja motor induksi tiga fasa. Medan putar terjadi apabila kumparan stator dihubungkan dalam fasa banyak, umumnya 3 fasa. Terjadinya medan putar dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Pada penelitian ini, didapat bahwa perbedaan jenis beban tidak mempengaruhi karaktersitik dari medan putar motor induksi tiga fasa. Intensitas kemagnetan dari stator maupun rotor motor induksi tiga fasa tersebut juga tidak memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan. Hanya saja terdapat perbedaan karakteristik dari kurva torsi dan kurva arus pada motor induksi tiga fasa dengan jenis beban yang berbeda. Abstract

The Population and Civil Registry Office of Binjai City is a government agency which is engaged in providing services to the community. In running a marriage registration service, the binjai city Population and Civil Registry service serves Marriage registration for about 10 days because the system used is still not computerized or still manual with a collection of document files. So it takes a very long time in the process. Therefore to achieve less effective and efficient time in registration. Then the making of an online Marriage Registration Information system will be made which will greatly facilitate the marriage registrar's administrators. Using a website base with the programming language used is PHP. So that it will be easy to use many kinds of devices, both laptops, computers, mobile phones, and smartphones. The information system is made according to procedures in the Population and Civil Registry Office of Binjai City. Starting from registration until the issuance of a registered certificate after that can provide activity reports to the Department of Population and Civil Registration binjai city through the website without having to come to the Office of Population and Civil Registration. The results of this thesis are in the form of a Binjai City Marriage Registration Information System. With such a solution the time in service will only take faster so that it becomes maximal.

Abstract

Pengambilan Keputusan merupakan suatu aktivitas yang cukup penting dalam masa sekarang ini. Pada dasarnya pengambilan keputusan adalah suatu pendekatan sistematis pada hakekat suatu masalah, pengumpulan fakta-fakta, penentuan yang matang dari alternatif yang dihadapi dan pengambilan tindakan yang menurut perhitungan merupakan pengambilan tindakan yang paling tepat. Pengambilan keputusan kerap kali dihadapkan pada kerumitan dan lingkup pengambilan keputusan dengan data yang begitu banyak. Untuk kepentingan itu tersebut maka diperlukan seperangkat sistem yang mampu memecahkan masalah secara efisien dan efektif, yang kemudian disebut dengan sistem pendukung keputusan. Sistem pendukung keputusan dapat dibuat dengan berbagai model penghitungan pengambilan keputusan tergantung objek pengambilan keputusannya. Model pengambilan keputusan akan menuntut seorang pengambil keputusan dalam menentukan model yang sesuai dengan masalah yang dihadapi. Tulisan ini berisikan tentang suatu model pengambilan keputusan yaitu SAW(SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHT) sebagai proses pengambilan keputusan dengan melibatkan banyak kriteria. Dalam tulisan ini menggambarkan riset perancangan suatu aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan dalam penentuan perangkat android terbaik menggunakan metode SAW (SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHT).

Abstract

Data processing documents also become an important issue at this time. Along with the increasing amount of data collected and stored in a database increases drastically. This data can come from a variety of sources such as financial applications, Enterprise Resource Management (ERM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and others. These data if can be used to support the decision-making process. This paper shows the result of clustering data derived from students' final assignment AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar using Support Vector Clustering method but it also displayed the data using the software RapidMiner clustering results with pengklasteringan time for 11:21 minutes with a gain that took the title in 1708 and classified database 311 who took the title of the classified web programming.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang semakin pesat memberi pengaruh yang besar hamper diserluruh aspek kehidupan manusia. Tentunya tingkat keamanan yang tinggi sangat diperlukan agar informasi tersebut tidak dapt diakses oleh orang yang tidak berkepentingan. Masalah pengiriman pesan atau data merupakan salah satu hal yan sangat penting, karena data sangat rentang terhadap tindakan kejahatan komputer. Kriptografi super enkripsi dapat menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mencegah tindakan kejahatan. Algoritma One Time Pad dan Beaufort Chiper merupakan salah satu algoritma yang dapat digunakan untuk menjaga kerahasiaan data, One Time Pad adalah algoritma yang menggunakan perhitungan XoR dalam enkripsi dan dekripsi sedangkan Beaufort Chiper adalah algoritma yang menggunakan perhitungan modulo. Jika kedua algoritma ini disatukan dalam sebuah aplikasi keamanan data, maka akan sulit untuk dibobol atau diambil oleh orang yan tidak bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Miss Indonesia is a beauty contest in Indonesian organized by MNC Group. Miss Indonesian will be the representative of Indonesian or the nation's ambassador in the International contest and participate in various social actions in the regions that need to participate in providing support and assistance. The problems that occurred in the selection of Miss Indonesian participants were due to the large number of participants registering so that it required considerable time to make decisions. Therefore a good decision support system is needed so that the selection of participants becomes more optimal. In the selection of Miss Indonesian participants, a method is needed, namely the TOPSIS method is a multicriteria decision-making method. This method is one method that is widely used to resolve practical decision making. In this method, it is used so that in the reception of Miss Indonesian participants it can be better selected according to the established criteria. The final results obtained in this study are in accordance with the expected criteria.

Abstract

Thesis session is a process that must be followed by a student in order to account for the thesis that has been done. Thesis trial scores determine student graduation, and student graduation rates are used as a measure of campus quality. The problem is that many students are depressed and afraid in the face of a thesis hearing, not a few among students who are stressed in facing thesis and some even delay the work of the thesis so that it affects the trial value obtained. Besides that there are students who have good IP but the trial value is not good, and vice versa. This method the Artificial Neural Network using the Backpropagation algorithm was chosen because it was able to predict the graduation value of the thesis trial based on input from the value of the semester IP from semester I to semester VII and the value of the trial. The study was conducted in two ways, namely training and testing. The training process aims to recognize or look for expected results by using a lot of training, so that it will produce the best pattern for training the data. After the training reaches the goal based on the best pattern, it will be tested with new data to see the accuracy between the targets using Matlab R2014a software. Based on the results of testing using Matlab R2014a software, the results are convergent, with a target error of 0.2. From the results of the training and the tests carried out, it was predicted that the graduation score of the thesis trial was predicted to be 0.8727. This research can also help predict the graduation score of thesis students at STMIK Kaputama Binjai

Abstract

One feature of a smartphone device that is still often used is the exchange of messages such as text chat. This exchange of information generally knows no distance, can be far or close. This requires security of the confidentiality of information sent from the source to the target. One way to get the security of communication is by applying cryptographic techniques so that the message sent to the target can be secured. The cryptographic technique used in this study is Vigenere Cipher. The Vigenere Cipher algorithm is used to encode text conversations so that messages sent via the internet can be maintained as well as with confidentiality. The purpose of this study is to build a text conversation cryptographic application that can run on Android-based smartphone devices. The technique can encrypt text conversations into secret messages which then the results (messages) are sent using a message sending application such as SMS (Short Message Service), Whatsapp and Line. Then when the message arrives at the destination, the description is done automatically so that the original message can be read.
