Abstract

In this era, writing is not enough to be done expressively with personal spontaneity, but need to be done collaboratively by considering aspects of the desired goals. One of them is when writing is done to fulfill economic goals as the basis of a community's creative industry. With the concept of a creative industry whose estuary is to produce economic products made from creative ideas, writing in Wadas Kelir Literacy Community (KLWK) is carried out with a planned collaborative working model based on creative industry standards of economic value. From here, the results of research that have been carried out are: first, writing collaboration begins with market research studies in an effort to identify trends in children's books that are being sought after by publishers and readers. Second, the formulation of themes and ideas is carried out in the discussion space and cooperation for the division of writing work. Third, the results of the writing work are reviewed and edited by a team of experts to identify the strengths and the weaknesses. Fourth, the book manuscript offer to publishers is carried out by a separate management who continues to carry out partnership work with publishers. Fifth, involved in efforts to distribute book sales through online stores that create trust in the community of publishers.

Abstract

AbstractThis research discusses the formulation system and the functions found in Mantau as one of Jambi’s oral literature. The writer applies the formula’s theory from Parry-Lord and the function’s theory from Alan Dundes. The writer finds two types of formula in Mantau, there are the repetation of words and the use of the name of places around Kerinci. The writer also finds the functions of this oral literature especially for the resident of Lempur Tengah from its lyric.Keywords: oral literature, formula, function, Parry-Lord, Alan Dundes   AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas sistem formula dan fungsi-fungsi yang terdapat di dalam salah satu sastra lisan dari Jambi, yaitu sastra lisan Mantau. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori formula dari Parry-Lord serta teori fungsi dari Alan Dundes. Hasil penelitian berupa adanya dua tipe formula di dalam sastra lisan Mantau, yaitu berupa pengulangan kata-kata serta penggunaan nama-nama daerah di sekitar kabupaten Kerinci. Hasil penelitian juga berupa adanya fungsi-fungsi dari sastra lisan Mantau yang diperuntukkan untuk penduduk desa Lempur Tengah. Kata Kunci : sastra lisan, formula, fungsi, Parry-Lord, Alad Dundes

Abstract

The benefits of studying history, in addition to remembering the past, are also valuable lessons for future generations. Through history, the younger generation knows the cultural treasures of the nation so that they can preserve them. One of the original arts belonging to West Kalimantan is the traditional theater mendu. This theater was successful at the beginning of its emergence (1876 AD) until the Japanese colonial era. After that it was dim because society was forbidden by Japan to gather and associate. Mendu was bloated again and became the belle of the 80's which was driven by the maestro Sataruddin Ramli (1948 - 2015). However, this particular art of West Kalimantan is now only a memory. This research aims to describe the golden age of West Kalimantan's traditional theater. The method used is descriptive qualitative form with a literature study approach. The results of the study describe (1) the glory period from the beginning of the emergence of the mendu to the Japanese occupation (1876 - 1942), (2) the traditional theater of the mendu became the belle of the community (1980s - 2000s). Factors that cause the mendu golden period include because in the past the world of entertainment was not yet sophisticated and modern, the characteristics of the traditional and simple community, the story that was served favored by the community at that time, the participation of the Regional Government of West Kalimantan, as well as coaching was held for the younger generation.

Abstract

 Kabupaten Purwakarta salah satu kabupaten di Jawa Barat yang memiliki kebudayaan dan sejarah yang menarik. Kabupaten Purwakarta sebagai kota industri mengalami perkembangan yang pesat pada berbagai sektor tak termasuk di bidang pariwisata. Saat ini pemerintah Kabupaten Purwakarta akan resort bertaraf internasional bernama Kampung Air Mbah Jawer di Kecamatan Sukasari Kabupaten Purwakarta. Pemberian nama Mbah Jawer menimbulkan pro dan kontra di kalangan masyarakat karena nama tersebut dianggap mengerikan dan penuh mistis. Bagi masyarakat Kabupaten Purwakarta khususnya di sekitar Waduk Jatiluhur nama Mbah Jawer membuat bulu kuduk berdiri. Cerita rakyat ini berkembang turun menurun dan dipercayai oleh masyarakat tanpa tahu persis kapan dan siapa yang mengetahui awal mula cerita tersebut. Cerita ini berawal dari lahirnya seorang anak yang memiliki jengger (Bahasa Sunda: Jawer) di dahinya mirip jawer ayam. Karena malu orang tua tersebut membuang anak tersebut ke aliran sungai citarum. Sejak peristiwa tersebut masyarakat sekitar mempercayai bahwa Mbah Jawer penguasa Waduk Jatiluhur. Seiring berjalannya waktu nyatanya modernisasi tidak melekangkan mitos Mbah Jawer yang disebut penyebab tenggelamnya orang setiap tahun. Apabila ditelaah lebih lanjut dibalik cerita mistis Mbah Jawer memiliki nilai-nilai positif yang layak dijadikan literasi bahan ajar penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah khususnya di Kabupaten Purwakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai budaya dari segi nilai sosial dan nilai religious pada cerita rakyat Mbah Jawer di Kabupaten Purwakarta. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa cerita rakyat Mbah Jawer memiliki nilai

Abstract

The change will always be experienced by the community, especially if it is already related to globalization. In addition to cultural degradation, the negative impact of globalization is lifestyle changes that are not following the values and norms of Indonesian society. At that time, religious values play an important role as a stronghold of negative things. The purpose of this study is to describe religious values by modern society amid globalization in the novel Impian Amerika by Kuntowijoyo. The data of this study are sentences or paragraphs describing the defense of religious values by modern society. The data source of this research is the Impian Amerika novel by Kuntowijoyo. The method used is descriptive qualitative with the technique of collecting recorded data and study of literature. Data analysis techniques using content analysis techniques. This research is important to do because, with the knowledge of religious values, a person will avoid negative things.  Religious values will protect us from negativity.

Abstract

The development of Islamic novel is increasingly diverse. Gender is one of the topics that writers often pick up. The closeness of the theme with the reader is one of the reasons for the development of gender perspective Islamic novel. This study aims to describe the development of Islamic gender perspective novel using literature studies. Data obtained from reviewing documents in the form of books and literature. The results of the study show that a gender perspective is used by many authors in bringing up Islamic novel. Gender perspectives are reflected in the main ideas of feminism in the novel, including: the interpretation of society against the subordination of women; the position of women in marriage; the position of women in education and careers.
