Abstract

One of the works of the town of Merauke that is quite proud of is crocodile leather craft. Currently in the city of Merauke there is no Center for Capturing and Craft of Crocodile Skin which houses crocodile leather craftsmen where the results of processed crocodile skin are very diverse, so as to boost local revenue. By seeing the natural condition of Merauke which has a tropical climate, it is necessary to have a design approach that takes into account environmental conditions. The method used in this research is qualitative method. This research data in the form of primary data and secondary data obtained by conducting direct interviews and observations and reinforced with photo documentation. The results of this study are a design based on the design and design concept of Education and Learning Center of Crocodile Breeding which is educational (learning) so that visitors can know the process of hatching, tanning, to being processed crocodile skin products, which pay attention to architectural rules that pay attention to lighting lighting and natural disposition and pay attention to environmental conditions in accordance with the concept of Modern Tropical design.

Abstract

The Treehouse is a work of Nusantara Architecture which is gaining in popularity in Papua, inhabited by two large Boven Digoel tribes namely the Korowai Tribe and also the Kombay Tribe. The Kombay Tree House is situated on a strong old tree with three layers of flooring, wooden walls and roofing material made of sago leaves. To assemble the house, a strong rattan rope is used. Behind that, Nusantara Architecture has a challenge that is accelerating development in the name of modernization. Behind modernization there are challenges for the preservation of the Tree House. For this reason, studies need to be carried out to explore the potential contained in the Treehouse so that the Treehouse should always be preserved. The purpose of this study is to analyze the categorization of the potential level of preservation of Treehouses using conservation criteria and explore the potential of tourism types of Treehouses. The results showed Treehouses have a category of high level of potential conservation. For tourism potential that can be further developed are educational tourism, nature tourism, and cultural tourism. This research is inductive exploratory research using descriptive-analytic survey method with observation and interviews also evaluative method.

Abstract

Clean water services plan in Merauke district have not been running optimally. The lack of management, service and maintenance from the government affects the condition of the utility of the city of Merauke. The not yet optimally creating the utility of the city of Merauke is also one of the main problems of the clean water source network system. During the dry season, there is often difficulty in getting clean water. This study evaluates the existing conditions, then analyzes and makes the planning of clean water networks aimed at improving the conditions and quality of water supply services for residents of Merauke city. The results of this study are (1) Clean water plan, has not been evenly distributed and has not carried out maximum care. (2) The need for additional clean water distribution channels, maintenance of clean water pipelines and the need for filtration so that clean water is suitable for drinking. (3) It is necessary to add locations of raw water sources, water treatment plans, reservoirs and piping plan (see figure 13) to all urban settlements, so that optimal service equity can occur.

Abstract

As a form that refuses to be accepted and supports the culture of the ancestors so that they feel concerned and that simplifies the era of globalization in the lives of people in Papua in the South that have been approved in relation to the areas where the community is increasing the work of modern culture. In this case, the method of collecting data used in this research is Observation, observation is the activity of direct monitoring of an object by using all five senses. Interview / Interview, interview is a data conversion technique used by researchers to be able to seek help- verbal involvement through direct questions and face to face with people who can give information. Documentation, this method is used to obtain data relating to museums and other data that can support this research, namely by searching literature from books (literature) and taking pictures.

Abstract

Health and beauty of the body is the dream of all women, because beautiful and attractive appearance and a prime body will increase the confidence in the life of Sosalization. The demands for the maximum performance of today's urban lifestyle and the city of Merauke are one of them. With the beauty and health center of Women, the women in Merauke receive solutions for various beauty and women health problems, also get direct treatment with the best supporting facilities. With the theme approach of the symbolic architecture showing the balance between beauty and health (Yin and Yang) that can reflect the face of this woman's beauty and health center becomes a comfortable, healthy, and enjoyable place.Data retrieval methods with live observation, interviews, and documentation. The research site is located in several places, namely in the beautiful house on Jl. Martadinata, Merauke and at Salon Rudy at Jl. Raya Mandala, Merauke.The results of the research is a beauty center that caters to the needs of women needs in Merauke is a place to accommodate a wide range of beauty and women's health problems, also get centralized supporting facilities and Best. By using a symbolic architectural theme by taking the symbol Yin and Yang which is a symbol of balance so that the building can be integrated with the surrounding to provide comfort to the community.

Abstract

The rapid development of the city of Merauke in terms of development has felt an increase in the city's economy so that it is necessary to develop an infrastructure of sea transportation that is adequate and able to support the economic growth of the community. In the progress of the city, the application of traditional elements into a building design is very influential, especially in the design of port infrastructure so that it can reflect and improve the image of the city's locality. The purpose of this study is to get a design that is able to support the smooth operation of passengers and goods that are safe and comfortable. Getting a design that is able to apply traditional elements of marind. The existence of a port that is really capable of serving the smooth activities of passengers and goods is needed by the community, but when viewed from the existing condition of the existing port facility building, the arrival and departure services at the passenger terminal have not been maximized. Therefore Redesign of the Passenger Terminal Port in Merauke with a new face can provide a complete range of service facilities that support the smooth and comfortable activities of passengers and goods. evaluative method.

Abstract

Merauke is a district that is located in the southernmost part of Papua province and the most eastern part of the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. The wealth of tourism assets which is a combination of natural scenery and cultural uniqueness is also abundant. So far, the tourist attraction in Wasur National Park is still not sufficient to make it a tourist destination that can attract tourists. So that in this area, facilities that can help tourists with information, accommodation and transportation services are needed, including lodging, restaurants, travel agency, recreational park, souvenir shop, and so on. The method used is the descriptive method (to describe), namely: a method for looking for elements, characteristics and characteristics or phenomena. This method begins by collecting data and analyzing data using field survey techniques, comparative studies, literature studies, interviews / questionnaires, site analysis and building analysis. Where the data and analysis obtained can be used as a reference in the design of the tourist area in Wasur National Park, Merauke Regency. The result of this research is to get a container (Tourist Area in Wasur National Park) which is comfortable and can create harmony between humans and nature.

Abstract

KPA (AIDS Adventure Commission) is a government program to control the spread of HIV / AIDS in Indonesia. Merauke is one of the districts that has a fairly large spread of HIV / AIDS in Papua Province. The role of KPA in Merauke is very much needed in tackling the spread of HIV / AIDS. The absence of a permanent KPA office in Merauke is an obstacle to work program activities. The purpose of this design is to provide a design for the KPA office in Merauke that can meet all activities and needs related to the work program of the KPA office. The method used in this preparation is the descriptive method. The process of searching for data using observation techniques, interviews and literature studies related to the KPA office. Abstract

Asmat is famous for its culture, namely wood carving and dance. There are two major events held each year in October and June. Types of activities and competitions include traditional traditional dance and statue auction demonstrations intended for adults, sculpture for the school level, socio-drama, decorative boat maneuvers and others. With the increase in activities and the number of artists every year and there is no place that can accommodate all artistic activities. so that we need a forum that becomes the center of art activities or the Asmat Art Center in Agats Asmat with a post modern architectural approach. The research method that I use is descriptive method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and literature study from related agencies such as the Asmat Regency Culture and Tourism Office, Asmat Regency BAPPEDA, Asmat Regency Public Works Office and other related agencies which contain data on the types of activities and the number of actors, maps and building rules.
