Abstract

The research aimed to: 1) Identify kind of bussiness, sales and market reached by bussinesses managed by women; 2) Analyze the indicators related with omset and market coveraged; and 3) Making group of bussiness based on relation in term of backward and forward linkage. The research was conducted in Kota Malang, exactly at the area of Aisyiyah Organization. The research result were as follow. 1) Bussiness managed by women herself were generally a trading business with the prime products of food and clothes, their market coveraged were in local market of Kota Malang. The product sales were less than Rp 2,000,000.00 per month. 2) The bussiness indicator related with sales and market coveraged were bussiness orientation and professional management; capital and human resources who have professionalism; and then the ability to respon market opportunity for marketable products. 3) Groups of bussiness can be categorized based on bussiness owned by women herself or cooperation with her husband, kind of bussiness, kind of product and level of micro and small bussiness. The backward and forward linkage of their bussiness have not been found yet, however networking empowerment can be begun at the bussiness of clothes.

Abstract

This researchexamines 1) Compensation partial  effect on peformance perment lecturer Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang 2) interpersonal communication partial effect on the peformance permanent lecturer University of Muhammadiyah Palembang . The population in this study are 96 people lecturer University of Muhammadiyah Palembang. From the result of calculations shows taht:1) The value of regression coefficient compensation (X1) amounted  to 0,546. meaning compensation effect the peformance of lecturer (Y) equal to 0,622, mean interpersonal communication effect the performance of lecture (Y) equal to 0,662 and 3)Based on the F test is know that there is there is influence compensation (X1) and interpersonal communication (X2) on the performeace lecture (Y) implementation is the research can add new paradigm for decision makers at the University of Muhammadiyah Palembang in an effort to boost the performance of lecturer of through improved compensation an interpersonal communication

Abstract

This study determined the effect of intellectual capital on the market value of the company with the company's financial performance as variable intervening in the agricultural sector companies listed on the Stock Exchange Indonesia (BEI). The sampling technique used is random sampling and data collection techniques employed is documentation. This study employeds series of specification/ diagnostic testing prior to regression such as autocorrelation, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity test and test coefficient which includes the F test and t test and path analysis (direct and indirect effect). The results reveal that the intellectual capital does not affect the company's financial performance. Moreover, intellectual capital is also not directly influence the company's market value, whereas intellectual capital indirect effect on the market value of the company so that the financial performance as an intervening variable capable of mediating the relationship of intellectual capital to the market value of the agricultural sector companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Intellectual capital should be evaluated and carried out repairs in the future so that the company can achieve its goals, improve the company's financial performance so that it can respond to increasing the company's market value as well.

Abstract

The reserch problem in this study is whether there is a diference of financial peformance between islamic bank and conventional bank? The purpose of this study is to examine the differences of financial performance of islamic bank and conventional bank. This study is a comparative study wich compares the financial  peformance of islamic bank and conventional bank from 2006 to 2009 Islamic bank samplesused in this studi is the bank muamalat indonesia,bank syari'ah mandiri, and bank syari'ah mega indonesia.Conventional bank samples used in this study is bank sentral asia, bank cimb niaga, bank danamon indonesia, bank internasional indonesia bank and bank permata. Secondary data is used an data collection tecnique is documentation independent sample t-test is employed. The result show that is a difference of CAR between islamic bank and conventional bank Meanwhile ROA, ROE,NPL,LDR and BOPO where found no difference. Overall there  is a difference of financial peformace between islamic bank and conventional bank

Abstract

Brand equity is the added value given to products and services. This value can be reflected in how customers think. Feel and act to ward the brand, price, market share and profitablity owned company. Brand equity is an important intangible asset, which has psychological and financial value to the company. If the value of brand equity of a products or company is good for customers, it can because customers will loyal to the product. Accer, one of notebook brand has been already known by the customers especially female student. The objective of the study was to determine the influence of brand equity on customers loyalty on the brand of notebook among students of faculty of economic and business of university of muhammadiyah palembang. Data collection were done by using primary and secondary data, the techniques of collecting the data questionnaires and documentation. The technique of analyzis the data was using multiple linear regression analysis :According to equation Y = 2,379 + 0,542 X1 + 0,723 X2 + 0,325 X3 Fhitung > Ftabel Ho rejected which meant all dependent variables ( Brand equity ) consisted brand awarness, brand association and quality perception togetherly significantly influenced independent variabel ( customers loyality ). The T-test results from brand equity variable which influenced customers’ loyality were brand awareness T-test thitung29,305 > ttabel 2,013, brand associations T-test thitung 5,202 > ttabel 2,013, quality preceived T-test thitung 2,074 ttabel>2,013 it could be concluded that brand equity significally influenced on customers loyalty the brand of notebook among student of the faculty of economic and business of university of muhammadiyah palembang

Abstract

The research problem 1) How is the enterpreneurship in Palembang 2) Is there differrence in enterpreneurship student. The research goals is to know the enterpreneurshipstudent and the differrence in enterpreneurship student.Design conclusive has been used in this research. There is one variable, student motivation. The variable is broadened to: financial compensation, prestice, time demand, lifequality, risk, guarantee, capital, and backup. All private university student in palembang is the population. Three hundreds and fifty students are the sample. The methode to choose the sample is cluster sampling. The main data is primary data. That is responden answer from the questionare. The data analizes question is proportion analisis technique and Chi Square. The result of the research: 1) There is 68,6% of Palembang private university hasstrong motivation in enterpreneurship. 2)From Chi Square, firstly, there is different motivation student depend on faculty selection. Secondly, there is different motivation depend on their parent’s work. Thirdly, there is no student motivation difference depend on ever or neverfollow enterpreneurship lecture.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to know the influence of work dicipline, motivation and job satisfaction on employees performance of company catering in the District Ilir Barat I Palembang. The problems of this study whether there is a work discipline, motivation and job satisfaction on employees performance of the catering company in the District Ilir Barat I Palembang?.The data used in this study are primary data 84 respondent answers. Models analysis used multiple linear regresion and by testing the validity and reliability of instruments. Test charactistics data that is test of normality and linearity test. Test model consist of multicolinearity test and heterokesdatisitas test.The test result of Multiple linear regresion showed work discipline, motivation and job satisfaction have a significant effect on employees performance is 0,000. Partially work discipline of 0,012. Motivation effect of 0,032 and job satisfaction effect on employees performance of 0,033.This study indicates conformity with the theory of work discipline, motivation an job satisfaction. There is also compability with previous studies. Increased work discipline, motivation and job satisfaction also increases performance.

Abstract

This research aimed to studied phenomena which influence micro business difficulty therefore needed to follow up by empirical study, it was: first, study about organization and marketing, study of business strategy, human resources, which could influence the process of created such micro business to made independent, strong and healthy business. Both method and research technique used was such combination among literature study, respondent observation, interview method with micro business object,product user and small business group structurally and indept interview). Analysis within this research was used descriptive analysis to studied presence both organization and marketing, stragegical research, human resource stakeholder and bechmarking examinations. Identified and studiedpresence variable was implemented by using SPSS program support. Qualitative analysis used by focus group discussion (FGD) between researcher and micro business manager. Based on examination result was showed that micro business still have difficulty to manage organization, marketing, business strategy and human resource management. Thiscondition occured as a consequence from hereditary management, inability to accessing both knowledge and technology development, and culture environment rooted therefore difficult to implement alteration. Thereforeneeded Local Government's role to utilize micro business to develop become independent business, health, strong and professional.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the promotion mix strategy of Batik Besemah based on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats which are owned by the product of Batik Besemah and formulate appropriate promotion mix strategy used after analyzed using SWOT analysis. Types of research used in this research is descriptive researchwith a focus on internal and external environment, and then to formulate a strategy, then processed into several stages, analyze internal and external environmental conditions and then using SWOT Matrix. The results showed that the strength of promotion mix Batik Besemah is exhibition, telephone marketing, and good cooperation with external parties. The weaknesses of the promotion mix is the limited budget and independent business. The opportunities that can be utilized is advertising and online marketing, lobbying government policies, proposing cooperation and expanding the market. The threats is the presence of competitors and market characteristics in Pagar Alam town.

Abstract

The problem construction is how does the influence of IC to the performance of pharmaceutical company finance which is registered at BEI in 2009-2013. The aim of this research is to know how big is the influence of IC to theperformance of this company in 2009-2013. This research is associative. The reseach unit is BEI. The variable of IC is measured by VACA, VAHU, and STVA, meanwhile the financial performance is measured by ROA, ROE,and EP. The data which is needed is the survey. The method of collecting data is documentation. The analysis of data uses the descriptive statistics and inferential which is used with the model of double linear regression. The result of this research shows that IC is significant to financial performance inhypotheses test of F, whereas, VACA gives the positive influence with ROE and the negative influence with ROA and EP in hypotheses test of t. Then for VAHU, the result which is reached gives the positive significant influence to the whole of indicator in financial performance. Otherwise, for the result which is reached by STVA is not significant to ROA, ROE, and EP.
