Abstract

Consumers will consider various attributes or factors when they make a purchase or deciding on a college choice. The Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia has classified and rank national universities. Previously, some agencies have classified and rank universities both nationally and globally. The results of classification or ranking are different from each other because they use different methods and different sizes.The purpose of this study is to analyze public perception of the reputation of the institution that has to rank colleges and community preferences on college choice. Method survey conducted on three groups of people, they consists of some students, lecturers and the general public.The sampling technique used isaccidental sampling. The number of respondents in this research is 123 respondents. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and conjoint analysis. The results show that many people do not recognize the results of the classification and ranking universities from an independent agencies, the majority of respondents only recognize BAN-PT as an institution that performs the classification of colleges. However, the results of ranking colleges taken seriously by the leaders and managers of higher education as a basic policy to achieve the best college. In addition, the public preference towards higher education shows a high score with various aspects of consideration, and universities should be able to give a good experience to their students.Almost all aspects of preferences offered highly rated, except for the aspect of prestige. The highest preference in choosing a college is a reputable college and study program that conformity with their interests.

Abstract

The alm of this study is to examine the quality of work life and human capital toward the employee peformance of dinas pendidikan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir simultaneously and partially. The pupulation used in this study  is 37 of dinas pendidikan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir employee. Census is used in this study. Research design is correction. The equation derives from the analysis is Y=3, 142+0, 173X1+0,142X2. Coefficient correlation is 0,814 and R is 0,929. The result reveals that QWL and human capital have significant impac toward employee performance both simultaneously and partially therefore Ho is reject.

Abstract

Formulation of the problem in this research is how the Influence of Board Size and Board Leadership to the Value of Registered Company on the Index Islamic Jakarta. The dependent variable (Y) in this study is the value of a company that is proxied through the Earning Per Share (EPS), return on assets (ROA), and Tobin's Q. Independent variable (X) consists of Board Size with indicator of the director number (X1), the number of commissioners (X2), the percentage of independent commissioners (X3), the audit committee (X4), and Board Leadership with indicator of managerial ownership (X5), and institutional ownership (X6), and variable control (C) used in this study is the size of the company and the company's debt.The population in this study is a registered company on the Index Islamic Jakarta > 5x from 2010-2014, thus, it acquired 20 companies as the simple random sampling technique. The required data are the company's financial reporting for each semester. The analytical method used is quantitative method by using multiple linear analysis.The results of the directors numbers (X1) and institutional ownership (X6) positive significantly influence to the value of the company. A variable number of commissioners (X2) negative significantly influence to the value of the company before any control variables, but a negative significant influence after any control variable on EPS and ROA. The percentage of independent commissioners (X3) consistently negative significant influence to the value of the company after the control variables, and only negative significant influence to Tobin's Q before any controls variable. Negative significant influences also found for Audit variable committee (X4) before and after the control variable of Managerial ownership (X5), therefore, the whole variables does not affect the value of the company, besides, negative significant influence can be seen on EPS before any control variables.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of firm financial performance on stock price which is concluched on the banking industry list in the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The length of the study is eight months. The sample usedin this study is 13 firms and variables used are EPS, PER, DPR, ROE, and ROA. The data obtained from Indonesian Stock Exchange. Ordinary Least Square (OLS) is employed in this study. The result reveal that apart from EPS, PER DPR, ROE have no significant impact on stock price.

Abstract

The reseach conduct to obtain about (1) How does the direct effect of Training, Compenzation and Working Environment on the CS Performance at Telkomsel, Ltd Branch Palembang, (2) How does the direct effect of Training, Compenzation and Working Environment on the CS Motivation at Telkomsel, Ltd Branch Palembang, (3) How does the direct effect of Motivation on the CS performance at Telkomsel, Ltd Branch Palembang.Design used in this research is explanation research. There are five variables. Those are independent variables which Training (X1), Compenzation (X2) and Work Environment (X3), and also dependent variables which to Motivation (Y) and Performance (Z). The sampling method used is saturated sample. The sample used in this research were 77 CSs. The analytical tool used is the Path Analysis using AMOS program support for Windows version 18:00According to the result of path analysis find that: (1) There is no direct effect of training on the CS performance at Telkomsel, Ltd Branch Palembang, (2) There is no direct effect of compenzation on the CS performance at Telkomsel, Ltd Branch Palembang, (3) There is no direct effect of work environment on the CS performance at Telkomsel, Ltd Branch Palembang, (4) There is no direct effect of training on the CS motivation at Telkomsel, Ltd Branch Palembang, (5) There is a direct effect of compenzation on the CS motivation at Telkomsel, Ltd Branch Palembang, (6) There is no direct effect of work environment on the CS motivation at Telkomsel, Ltd Branch Palembang, and (7) There is a direct effect of motivation on the CS performance at Telkomsel, Ltd Branch Palembang,

Abstract

This research investigated the relationship between composition of board structure and financial performance of cellular company in Indonesia. Using a balance panel of 5 cellular companies which are listed in Indonesian StockExchange, the research employed ordinary least square method. The result showed that the composition of board structure collectively have influence on financial performance of cellular company in Indonesia, refer to Return on Asset (ROA). Partially, size of board commissioner andindependence director have a significant influence on financial performance. In the other hand, independence commissioner, size of board director and female director do not have significant influence on financial performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the difference between the healtf of banks of the Bank with the Government of National Private Bank listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this research is secondary data such as financial ratios derived from the financial statements of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period from 2005 to 2014. While the variables used are the performance financial measured by CAMEL consisting of the CAR, NPL, NIM, ROA, ROE, and LDR. The population in this research are all banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange with sample 3 government banks and 5 national private banks. The results of this research indicate that there is no difference in the health of banks of government banks and national private banks listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange on indicators CAR, NPL, NIM. While indicators ROA, ROE, and LDR indicate there are differences in the health of banks of state banks and national private banks listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The implications of this research are expected to be used as notes or corrections to maintain and improve the health of banks of both government banking and private banking

Abstract

This watchfilness internal issue is influence either through together also partially marketing mix towards consumer decision at two star hotel in Palembang City. This watchfulness is the aim to detect influence eitherthrough together also partially product, price, place, promotion, people, physical evidence towards consumer decision at two star hotel in Palembang City. Based on level explanation this watchfulness is watchfulness asosiatif.Variables used are six independent variables that is product, price, place, promotion, people, physical evidence and one dependent variable, consumer decision as a whole developed to be 49 indicators. Found 270 two star hotel consumer that taken as watchfulness sample based on clustersampling. Primary data is got by using distribution technique questioner. Analysis technique taht used path analysis.Analysis result in through together show product, price, place, promotion, people, physical evidence has influence significant according to together towards consumer decision at two star hotel in Palembang city. Analysis results in partially according towards consumer decision, price not influentialsignificant.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is differences ofconsumer perceptions on foreign and local electronic brands in Kenten Laut,Talang Kelapa Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency, Palembang. The purpose ofthis research is to know the differences of consumer perceptions on foreignand local electronic brands in Kenten Laut, Talang Kelapa Subdistrict,Banyuasin Regency, Palembang. This study includes a comparative studycomparing one sample with another sampel, whereby this study aims todetermine differences in consumer perceptions on foreign and localelectronic brands in Kenten Laut, Talang Kelapa Subdistrict, BanyuasinRegency, Palembang. The population is all KK in Kenten laut. Sample in this research is 200 KK, with technique of closter sampling analysis. Types of data used are primery and secondary data. Data is collected by usingquestionnaire, with analysis tool using chi-square. The results of theresearch indicate that there are differences of consumer perceptions onforeign and local electronic brands in Kenten Laut, Talang KelapaSubdistrict, Banyuasin Regency, Palembang. The difference in the intent isfound in foreign and local electronic brand products.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effect of service quality andprice to customer satisfaction and its impact on consumer loyality in the cityPrabumulih wedding organizer. Formulation of the problem is whether thereis influence service quality and price to customer satisfaction and its impacton consumer loyalty Prabumulih wedding organizer in the city?Design/Methodelogy/Approach: The data used in this study are primary data89 respondent reply. Models analysis used analysis and by testing thevalidity and reliability of instruments. Test charactistics data that is test ofnormality and linearity test. Test model consist of multicolinearity test andheterokesdatisitas test.Implications: The test results of path analysis showed that there werepositive and significant impact variable quality of service significantlyinfluence consumer satisfaction 0,000. Price variables significantly influenceconsumer satisfaction 0,000. Variable service quality signifintly consumerloyalty 0,000. Price variables dont have significantly influence consumerloyality 0,205. and Variable customer satisfaction dont have significantlyinfluence consumer loyalty 0,188.Findings: Their suitability to the theory and there is a match and supportprevious research. Increased service quality, price and customerssatisfaction and customer loyality.
