Data collection techniques are interviews and observation. The data analysis technique used in this research uses the Miles and Huberman model analysis method, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that MSMEs in this study have used social media in their sales communication process. The most widely used social media is Facebook. The benefit of using social media for MSMEs is that it is an effective sales tool, it can increase sales volume by more than 100% if you always update information every day. Abstract

Currently, English has become a global language and almost every level of education studies English. One of the materials is grammar. Good grammar mastery can be used to communicate in English, writing letters, messages, and scientific writing. One of the materials in mastering grammar is Tenses. Tenses is a sentence pattern that is arranged based on the words to be created. However, tenses are considered difficult and quite boring to learn for some students at the Fakfak State Polytechnic, West Papua. To make it easier to learn tenses is the use of mobile learning to help users in learning something and it can be accessed easily. This research aims to develop an Android-based English Tenses learning application for students at the Fakfak State Polytechnic, West Papua. The method used in this research is the Waterfall method, where a software development model is carried out sequentially where one stage is carried out after the previous stage has been completed. The black box testing results show that the application can work well. Meanwhile the questionnaire result about application performance revealed that 91% of respondents strongly agreed that with this application become an effective way to increase student motivation in learning English Tenses

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation Number 28 of 2019 concerning Equalization of Administrative Positions into Functional Positions at the University of Borneo Tarakan (UBT). The research method used is qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that policy implementation at UBT was not optimal. There are major obstacles in terms of communication, where information regarding equalization of positions is conveyed through private networks without adequate socialization. In addition, there are resource constraints, such as the incompatibility of the educational background of civil servants with the functional positions held and the limitations of supporting facilities. The bureaucratic structure that has not adjusted the Organization and Work Procedures (OTK) and Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) is also an obstacle. In addition, there are obstacles outside the indicator, namely the collection of credit numbers. In conclusion, to overcome these obstacles, it is recommended that UBT hold a more comprehensive socialization, conduct a more detailed position mapping, improve supporting facilities, and immediately propose changes to the OTK and SOP to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. The implementation of this position equalization requires more supportive regulations and credit score assessment submitted to UBT

Abstract

Beef authenticity detection is a significant concern in today's food industry. This study proposes the K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) method based on the extraction of the Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) feature to detect the authenticity of beef based on images. A dataset of 40 images of real and fake beef was collected and aggregated into 240 images to increase the variety of data. The imagery is changed to grayscale, and the HOG feature is extracted to capture texture and shape information. The K-NN model is built with optimized parameters using Grid Search and cross-validation techniques. The model was evaluated by measuring accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score on the test data. The results show that the K-NN model with HOG feature extraction can achieve an accuracy of 80.56%,  precision of 87.10%, recall of 72.97%, and F1-score of 72.97% in classifying real and fake beef. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method for the rapid and accurate detection of beef authenticity. This research contributes to developing image-based food authenticity detection methods that can be applied to increase consumer confidence in the food industry
