Abstract

Private vehicles are valuable assets for everyone. Each vehicle owner usually has their own way of protecting their vehicle from damage or loss, with many cases of motor vehicle theft in Indonesia making vehicle owners to be vigilant. Moreover, the lost vehicle will be difficult to find, one reason is the difficulty to track the whereabouts of the vehicle during the theft. Various efforts of vehicle owners to improve the safety of motorized vehicles that are parked, both in the public parking area or on the yard of the house, so that it is not easy to trigger theft. ) Producing a system that can monitor and request the location of a motorcycle vehicle when the vehicle is in danger or is stolen. The research method used is an analysis consisting of analysis of work methods and requirements analysis, a design consisting of hardware design and software design, an application consisting of hardware application and software application and finally a test consisting of testing of GPS , testing of GSM, testing all components and testing SMS applications. the conclusion of this research is (i) The hardware manufacture of "vehicle safety system using SMS (Short Message Service) as monitoring on motorcycle vehicles" was successfully made with the Arduino Uno microcontroller which is supported by the software in it and combined with several series supporting each other and (ii) Making software for "vehicle safety systems using SMS (Short Message Service) as monitoring on motorcycle vehicles" is a C language programming system that is made to work properly.

Abstract

In this bulb selection of users is often confused with the selection of bulbs that are so much circulating in the market, ranging in terms of brand, type, quality, competitive price and with other advantages that in offer often make the users confused to get a light bulb that is energy efficient at an affordable price and with the best quality. Problems not only stop at the time when the bulb placement in each room of the house also often gets a problem. A common problem is inconsistency, which is common when a light bulb has been placed. Watt capacity available in bulb often does not correspond to the size of the room, resulting in less optimal illumination, watt capacity or large power consumption sometimes also does not guarantee to be able to get a good illumination. Therefore it takes a decision support system that can do the calculation of value to be able to help the user determine the bulb that is desired well and precisely according to the needs. This decision support system implements the method of technique for order preference by Simillarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS), which is a method that can provide a weighted and straddles for each of its criteria. With the technique for order preference by Simillarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) This author creates a system that hopefully can help the decision making in the selection of electric light bulb. Therefore, the authors feel the need for a decision support system to solve the problem of electric bulb selection for the household.

Abstract

In everyday life, sometimes it is necessary to change the contents of the printouts of certain documents, but the digital files from the printed documents have been lost. Retype the document manually will certainly spend a lot of time making it inefficient. To solve this problem, the printed document can be scanned into a digital image file and a character recognition system is implemented to recognize the characters contained therein. In this study, the Gradient Vector Flow Snake (GVF Snake) method is used to determine the boundaries of an object based on the computed vector gradient in the form of binary or gray-level values ??obtained from an image with several frameworks. After that, the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) method will be used to predict the characters that have been broken up by the GVF Snake method. The results of this study are software that applies the GVF Snake and ELM methods to perform the character recognition process of an image printed by a document.

Abstract

The development of the industrial system at this time more and more. Competition in the business world is increasingly stringent and requires business people to create good marketing strategies, one of which utilizes transaction data from Old Vape store companies is a company engaged in the field of electronic cigarettes. But the lack of observation in choosing customer data is less effective. And to overcome this problem can use data clustering analysis using k-means algorithm. And clustering techniques are functional in data mining, data mining algorithms are grouping a lot of data into several data groups or clusters. The data used is taken from the Vape Old House Store customer data, which results in a type of data grouping, namely customer segmentation for basic strategies in the Vape Old House Store so that customer data is not in vain.

Abstract

Along with advances in technology, the expert system greatly helps the performance of doctors in detecting diseases. The purpose of the expert system that was designed was to detect TB disease, this system was made to make it easier for users to find out TB disease information with symptoms experienced by people with TB symptoms. With the application of this expert system, it is expected to be able to overcome the problems experienced by doctors or experts in conducting consultations between doctors and patients. This system is designed using PHP programming with MySQL databases and the fuzzy mamdani method which helps build the system by assessing the input and output of the system implementation results. So resulting in an idea of the existing problem that the user can find out information on tuberculosis symptoms - symptoms experienced, while the admin can change the symptoms to be updated and replace the symptom code

Abstract

This study aims at how much community interest in Honda products in the city of Lamongan so that it can be formulated that attract consumers' interest in making motorcycle purchasing decisions amid increasingly fierce competition phenomena based on consumer motivation, perceived quality, and consumer attitudes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of consumer motivation, perceived quality, and consumer attitudes towards motorcycle purchasing decisions. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collected by questionnaire and interview techniques. Respondents in this study were 100 people who met one of five criteria; initiator, influencer, decider, buyer, user of Honda motorbikes in Lamongan City Three hypotheses were formulated and tested using Regression Analysis. While qualitative analysis is taken from the interpretation of data by providing information and explanations. The results showed that consumer motivation, perceived quality, and consumer attitudes had a significant relationship with purchasing decisions. Consumer motivation also has a higher influence on purchasing decisions than consumers' perceived quality and attitudes.
