Abstract

In the curret era of building construction and development, it is very difficult to foresee the evacuation point of a building if disaster occure, especially for huge and tall buildings. For that purpose we make crowd modeling on the Unity3D game engine. We try to build a concept using evacuation scenarios in the Krisnadwipayana University, Faculty of Engineering building. By utilizing crowd modeling using Unity3D game engine, we will put all crowd agents together at the virtual environment of the target building at maximum density. In this study we using the prototype method to build the virtual area/building, and mapping the movement of the crowds in order to calculate the movement to be carried out in a form of visual crowds movement. The results of research conducted show that the final prototype that was made can accept 3D building models using Sketchup. From the data that has been made through the prototype there are 4498 agents who exit through the main door and 2068 agents use the back door of the target building, with the time needed to evacuate for 2 minutes and 16 seconds. The conclusion of this research is that it is able to present a crowd modeling form with integrated navigation on the game engine, and by using Unity3D for crowd modeling, it can help various groups that require testing in an area.

Abstract

The utilization of computerized information systems is very important, especially in higher education. The existence of a computerized information system makes a process of processing important data that can be arranged and stored properly and makes it easier to find data when needed. Included in the logistics department of the National University which still needs the support of a system that is able to facilitate the processing of data entry and exit of goods contained in the National University logistics warehouse. The purpose of this research is to be able to alleviate the work on logistics in terms of streamlining the use of time, energy, and costs incurred in recording and making logistical reports. Then an android-based logistics information system will be built using the information system approach method used in making and developing applications, namely the system development life cycle (SDLC) method using the waterfall model. The construction of this system was made using sublime text 3 and MySQL as its database. This system will be able to manage the data of incoming and outgoing goods and also perform data searches on a mobile basis using an Android smartphone. With the creation of a logistics information system at the Android-based National University, it is hoped that it can help and speed up the work in processing logistical data that will be used as material for making reports.

Abstract

In every educational institution, it certainly has its own tuition payment system. Along with the rapid advancement of technology and information at this time, certainly needed an effective and efficient and relevant system which will make these institutions can compete with other institutions. At the National University lecture payment and verification of lecture payments are still done conventionally, ie students make transfers or cash deposits to the Bank in collaboration with the campus, then students need to show proof of physical payment to campus staff (BAK) for verification which is assessed less efficient. With these problems, the author in his research intends to design an online UPS payment application based on Android and integrated with the Midtrans API. Midtrans API is used to improve payment service performance and make it easier for students to make UPS payments on mobile. In this research, several types of programming languages are used, including PHP, Java, and MySQL, accompanied by the use of the waterfall method. The Waterfall method is used as a system development method which is carried out systematically, starting from planning to testing the system. The reason the author uses the waterfall method is that it can facilitate the management and design requirements (needs) of the system created. With this research the author hopes to produce convenience for students in making payments to UPS verification through an online UPS payment application.

Abstract

The application of high TQM will improve managerial performance, and vice versa. Managers will be more motivated to improve performance, if high performance measurements in the form of information needed that provide feedback for improvement and learning. After TQM is applied, managerial performance must be measured to find out how the manager's abilities (keep in mind that this has entered the millennial era) in supporting the company's strategy. The measuring instrument used to determine how much the manager's ability is a performance measurement system based on multicultural, because the performance measurement system based on multicultural is a combination of financial performance and non-financial performance. The multicultural performance measurement system is the Balance Scorecard (BSC). BSC was chosen because the BSC indicator which consists of financial, customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth perspectives and is very comprehensive. These indicators are very applicable to measure the manager's performance. The awards received by middle managers can be in the form of financial and non-financial rewards. Financial awards are external awards given to the performance given to companies in the form of salaries, wages, bonuses, commissions, pensions, accident insurance, and others. While non-financial rewards are part of the work itself such as task completion, achievement, personal development and so on. Performance-based reward systems encourage employees to change their tendencies from enthusiasm to fulfill their own interests to the spirit of meeting organizational interests. Performance-based rewards provide two benefits, namely motivating and providing information (Mulyadi and Jhony, 1998).
