Abstract

Academic stress is a common psychological issue experienced by final-year university students, particularly in facing thesis completion and graduation requirements. This study aimed to examine the influence of self-regulated learning (SRL) and psychological well-being (PWB) on academic stress among final-year students. The research employed a quantitative approach with an Cross-Sectional design. The participants were final-year students who were in the process of completing their undergraduate thesis. A total of 90 students were selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through validated and reliable self-report questionnaires measuring academic stress, self-regulated learning, and psychological well-being. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicated that partially, self-regulated learning did not have a significant effect on academic stress (p > .05) with a contribution of 0.8% (R² = .008) and a negative direction. Similarly, psychological well-being did not show a significant effect on academic stress (p > .05) with a contribution of 0.2% (R² = .002) and a negative direction. Simultaneously, self-regulated learning and psychological well-being did not significantly predict academic stress, with a coefficient of determination of 1.3% (R² = .013), indicating that 98.7% of the variance in academic stress was influenced by other factors outside the research model.

Abstract

Devout worship is a spiritual condition that is closely related to psychology. This is very important foe married women because of the heavy roles and demand of domestic life which can trigger a decline in the quality of worship. This research aims to see the extent of the role of emotional regulation end the meaningfulness of life on devotion to worship in married women. The research methods with convenience sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using scales of emotional regulation, meaningfulness of life and devotion to worship which have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was tasted using multiple regression analysis. The result of the study interpret that emotional regulation and the meaning of life. Simultaneously have a positive role in devotion to worship. The findings from the results of this research mean that the better women are at regulating their emotions, the easier it will be to find meaning in their lives, so that they can also increase devotion in worship.

Abstract

The diversity of students’ characteristics in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning requires instructional strategies that are able to accommodate differences in students’ abilities, interests, and learning styles. In practice, PAI learning is often implemented using uniform approaches that have not fully addressed the diverse learning needs of students. This study aims to analyze differentiated learning strategies in Islamic Religious Education as an effort to accommodate the diversity of students’ learning needs. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method by examining various academic sources such as scientific journals, books, and other scholarly publications related to differentiated instruction and Islamic education. Data were analyzed through the processes of data reduction, data presentation, and thematic conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that differentiated learning strategies in PAI can be implemented through four main aspects: content differentiation, process differentiation, product differentiation, and learning environment differentiation. The application of these strategies enables teachers to adjust learning materials, instructional methods, learning activities, and assessment forms according to students’ characteristics and learning needs. Therefore, differentiated instruction has positive implications for improving students’ engagement, understanding, and learning experiences in Islamic Religious Education, making the learning process more inclusive, adaptive, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process-based educational concept in the Qur’an through an examination of Surah Al-Ghâsyiyah verses 17–20 and Surah Al-Mu’minun verses 12–16 to formulate Qur’anic pedagogical principles relevant to modern education. The research employs a qualitative approach using thematic exegesis and pedagogical analysis of the verses, supported by classical tafsir literature and educational theories. The findings reveal that both sets of verses present a systematic learning structure emphasizing empirical observation, gradual processes (tadarruj), intellectual reflection, and the integration of cognitive and spiritual dimensions. Surah Al-Ghâsyiyah illustrates a learning model based on observing real-world phenomena as the foundation of knowledge formation, while Surah Al-Mu’minun portrays the stages of human creation as a paradigm of progressive and structured learning development. These findings confirm that Qur’anic educational concepts are aligned with contemporary educational theories such as constructivism, inquiry learning, and developmental learning. Therefore, the Qur’an can be understood as a conceptual source of holistic education that positions process as the core of effective and meaningful learning.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions are faced with demand to adapt to changing times, including digitalization and globalization, without sacrificing fundamental Islamic values. A major challenge in Islamic educational management in the modern era is the integration of technology and the availability of resources in accordance with Islamic values. Systems theory is an approach used to understand the complexity of a system by considering the interactions between related components into a holistic whole in its management. The contingency approach or situational approach is a school of management theory that emphasizes specific situations or conditions. Contingency theory emerged as a response to traditional management theory that often ignores variability in organizational situations and contexts. Management success depends on the match between management style and conditions. The implications of both theories, namely Systems Theory and Contingency Theory, can address the challenges and opportunities in Islamic educational management, namely curriculum development, classroom management, improving educational quality, technology integration, strategic planning, and leadership. Meanwhile, opportunities that can be taken are international cooperation, curriculum development, and integrated technology. Overall, these two theories help Islamic educational institutions to become effective, efficient, and adaptive organizations in achieving their goals based on Islamic values ​​amidst the dynamics of the times.

Abstract

Hijamah (cupping therapy) is a traditional medical practice strongly rooted in the prophetic traditions (hadith) and forms part of prophetic medicine (ṭibb al-nabawī). However, in modern society, hijamah is often understood partially, either as a cultural tradition or as an alternative therapy without comprehensive scientific grounding. Therefore, this study aims to examine the hadiths related to hijamah using a thematic (maudhu’i) approach and to analyze its relevance in contemporary da'wah. This research employs a qualitative method with a library research design, utilizing primary sources from classical hadith collections and relevant academic literature. Data analysis includes hadith inventory, sanad and matan analysis, and contextual interpretation. The findings reveal that most hadiths on hijamah are classified as authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) and good (ḥasan), containing health-related messages that are preventive, curative, and holistic. Furthermore, hijamah demonstrates compatibility with modern scientific findings in the medical field. From a da'wah perspective, hijamah can be developed as a form of da'wah bil-ḥāl, offering an integrative, practical, and solution-oriented approach. The significance of this study lies in its contribution to integrating hadith studies and da'wah while proposing a health-based da'wah model that is relevant to contemporary society.

Abstract

The father's work conditions as a fisherman that require being at sea for long periods of time cause limitations in the father's physical and psychological presence in family life. This study aims to: (1) Determine the pattern of children's religious education in fishing families; (2) Determine the symptoms of fatherlessness that appear in religious education; and (3) Analyze the impact of father's absence on morals in children in Bakongan Village. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with informants consisting of ustad meunasah, fishermen, fishermen's wives, Islamic Religious Education teachers, village officials, and 6th grade elementary school students. The results of the study show that: (1) The pattern of religious education in Bakongan Village is dominated by the role of the mother (mother-centered) and full delegation to non-formal institutions such as TPA/Meunasah due to the father's limited time. (2) Symptoms of fatherlessness that appear include the absence of a male authority figure in accompanying practical worship and the loss of direct role models from father figures in daily religious life. (3) The impact of a father's absence significantly affects a child's morals, especially in the aspects of independent religious discipline, honesty, and emotional control.

Abstract

This study examines the principles of Qur'anic interpretation (qawā'id al-tafsīr) and the development of tafsir thought from the classical to the contemporary period. Employing a qualitative library research approach, data were drawn from primary sources such as classical tafsir works and scientific writings, as well as secondary sources including academic journals and theses, and analyzed through content analysis. The findings indicate that sound interpretive principles are essential to preserving the authenticity of Qur'anic meaning and preventing subjective distortion. The evolution of tafsir across periods reflects a dynamic and contextual tradition grounded in the Qur'an and Sunnah, while Qur'anic translation serves as a vital medium for disseminating Islamic teachings globally, albeit inherently interpretive in nature. This study concludes that the study of interpretive principles and Qur'anic translation holds paramount importance in ensuring the Qur'an's enduring relevance as a guide for Muslim life across every generation.
