JURNAL ansiru PAI is a scientific journal on Teacher Training and Development of Islamic Education. The journal is managed by Master Degree Program under the Faculty of Islamic Education and Teacher Training (FITK) of the State Islamic University of North Sumatera (UIN Sumatera Utara). This journal focuses on the discussion of teacher training and development of Islamic education on the basis of four competences: pedagogical, personal, social, and professional skills. The analysis can be viewed from various perspectives of interdisciplinary studies. Jurnal Ansiru PAI is published twice a year: January and July.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This classroom action research conducted to determine the moral improvement of early childhood (5-6 years) through thematic learning aided audiovisual media. The research location is Al-Kamal school of early childhood of Education Foundation Al-Kamal Laut Dendang. While the subject of this research is the B group students that consist of 20 students.The method that was used in this research is qualitative method with a classroom action research (PTK) model. The actions carried out in three cycles. Each cycle consists of several stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collected through test instruments, observation sheet and documentation. The data that have been obtained was analyzed descriptively with the steps: data Reduce, presented the data and appealing conclusions.The results of this study indicate that the child's knowledge of Morals at pre-action to cycle one from 15 people got BM categoris with a value of 2.39 (less than 60%), and MM categories of 5 people with a value of 2.60 (60-69).Reduced to 9 people who received BM categories increased to be 11 people MM categories. Morals knowledge of children in cycle 2 to cycle 3 from 7 people got BM categories with 2.39 value (less than 60%) and amounted to be 8 people got MM categories with 2.60 value (60-69).The next category of BSH amounted to 5 people with 2.80 value (70-79), increased to 5 people who got BSH category, and BSB 15 with 3:20 value (80-100).Morals of children's skills from pre-action to cycle 1 of 11 people got BM categories with 2.39 value (less than 60%) and MM 9 people with 2.60 value (60-69).. Reduced to 5 people who received BM categories and MM category increased to 15 people with 2.60 value (60-69).Morals skills of children in cycle 2 to cycle 3, 4 people got BM categories with 2.39 value (less than 60%), and amounted 7 people MM categories  with 2.60 value  (60-69), who got the next BSH category amounted to 9 people. Increased to 3 people who got BSH category with 2.80 value (70-79), and 17 people who got BSB categories with 3.20 value (80-100).The response of the children on the knowledge and skills of the character in the pre-action to cycle 1 is good enough, because the children have started to understand the character's behavior.Furthermore, the response of moral knowledge and skills of the children from cycle 2 to cycle 3 good and fun because the children already understand the behavior of good character. Therefore, the children are motivated to do a good moral behavior in the classroom and out of the classroom.  Key Words: Morality, Thematic Learning, Audiovisual Media

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the relationship of reading ability tostudent learning independence (2) the relationship of the ability to thinkcritically towards the independence of student learning (3) the disciplineof learning to the independence of student learning (4) the influence ofreading skills, and the ability to think critically, and towards Studentlearning independence (5) Effect of reading ability, and learning disciplineon student learning independence (6) Effect of critical thinking skills, andlearning discipline on student learning independence (7) Effect of readingability, critical thinking skills, and learning discipline on student learningindependence.The results of the study: 1) There is a Positive andSignificant Relationship in the Ability to Read Against LearningIndependence Students who proved the correlation is worth 0.761. 2)There is a Positive and Significant Relationship to the Critical ThinkingAbility of Students' Learning Independence which is worth 0.883. 3) Thereis a Positive and Significant Relationship in Learning Discipline AgainstStudent Learning Independence, with a value of 0.938 Multiple linearregression obtained by regression equation, Y = 15.238 + 0.352X1 +0.623X2 + e. 5) There is a positive and significant influence betweenreading ability (X1), and learning discipline (X3) on student learningindependence (Y), the results of the calculation of multiple linearregression analysis obtained regression equation that is Y = 12.865 +0.224X1 + 0.720X2 + e . 6) There is a Positive and Significant InfluenceBetween Critical Thinking Ability (X2) and Learning Discipline (X3) onStudent Learning Independence (Y). Multiple linear regression analysisobtained regression equation, namely Y = 15.671+ 0.312X1 + 0.594X2 + e.7) There is a Positive and Significant Influence Between Reading Ability(X1), Critical Thinking Ability (X2) and Learning Discipline (X3) AgainstStudent Learning Independence (Y) which is proven through the results ofthe calculation of multiple linear regression analysis obtained theregression equation that is Y = 11.302 + 0.173X1 + 0, 276X2 + 0.524X3 + e. Results of hypothesis analysis Simultaneously, fcount> ftabel where 237.611> 2.77. And the results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination in this study is the R Square value of 0.963. And with asignificance level of 5%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the program carried out in 107405 SeiRotan Public Elementary School in realizing eight student characters, (20plans carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers in realizing eightstudent characters in 107405 Sei Rotan Public Elementary School, (3)strategy what can be done by Islamic Religious Education teachers inrealizing the eight characters of students, and (4) the implications arisingfrom the strategies carried out by Islamic Religious Education teachers onthe formation of student characters in practicing worship. The researchmethod uses qualitative research, namely research conducted naturally byutilizing researchers as research instruments. The subjects of this studywere Islamic Religious Education teachers, principals, and students. Dataretrieved through observation, documentation, and interviews. Data isanalyzed based on data reduction, data presentation, and drawingconclusions. The results of this research can be concluded as follows: (1)the program carried out by has accommodated the coaching of eightstudent characters (religious, honest, tolerance, hard work, creative,independent, democratic, and disciplined) through the 3 S program, duhaprayers, midday prayers, commemoration of Islamic holidays, flagceremonies, extracurricular activities (scouting, sports, and art), cleanFriday activities, gymnastics, OSN activities, (2) planning by teachers ofEducation Islamic religion in realizing the eight characters of students isdone by teachers by preparing learning plans based on the vision andmission of the school, competency standards, and also based oninteresting and innovative learning patterns, (3) strategies undertaken byIslamic Religious Education teachers in the development of eight studentcharacters implemented from the implementation of learning wasinteresting and fun shows an enthusiastic attitude towards learningcarried out by the teacher, and (4) the implication of coaching the eightcharacters of students is a positive change in the character of students andachievement of learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Dhuha prayer andZuhr prayer in congregation in the formation of student morals, and theimpact they cause and the supporting and inhibiting factors in theformation of student morals in the Al Hira Permata Nadiah School inMedan. This type of research is field research with a qualitativedescriptive approach. In this study, data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data uses the source triangulationtechnique. Analysis of the data used is an Interactive analysis model. Thesubjects of this study were students at Al Hira Permata Nadiah Medan.The results showed that through the habituation program Dhuha prayerand Zuhr prayer in congregation students were quite able to apply theirgratitude for all the blessings of Allah SWT both through words anddeeds. courtesy politeness towards everyone, especially parents andteachers, both in the form of words and deeds. Students can controlemotions or anger, but the mind and heart also become calmer, so that itwill facilitate the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe: (1) the relationship of learningstyles with the ability of students to memorize the Qur'an in class X IPSMAN 2 Medan model, (2) the relationship of emotional intelligence withthe ability of students to memorize the Qur'an in class X IPS MAN 2Medan Model, and (3) the relationship between learning styles andemotional intelligence with the ability of students to memorize the Qur'anin class X IPS MAN 2 Medan Model. The study was conducted atMadrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model Medan. This research is a quantitativestudy using the correlation research method. The population in this studywere all social studies students of class X consisting of 5 classes with atotal of 186. A sample of 20% of students totaling 186 namely 37.2 rounded37 students taken at random (random sample). Data collectioninstruments used were questionnaires and tests. Analysis of the data usedis correlation and regression. The research findings show: (1) there is apositive and significant relationship between learning styles with theability to memorize the Qur'an with a correlation number of 0.393 with theequation of the regression line Ŷ = 77,15 + 0.12X1, (2) there is a positiveand significant relationship between emotional intelligence with theability to memorize the Qur'an with a correlation number of 0.519 with theequation of the regression line Ŷ = 66,26 + 0.27X2. and (3) there is apositive and significant relationship between learning styles andemotional intelligence with the ability to memorize the Qur'an with acorrelation number of 0.589 with the equation of the regression line Ŷ =35,56 + 0.09 X1 + 0.24X2. Effective contribution of learning style variables tothe ability to memorize the Qur'an is 12,20%, while the effectivecontribution of the variable of emotional intelligence with the ability tomemorize the Qur'an is 23,90%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) contribution positive anda significancebetween student learning habits towards learning outcomes, (2)contribution positive anda significance between students' interest inlearning on the results of learning, and (3) contribution positive anda significance between learning habits and student learning interest towards learning outcomes. The research was conducted at MTs MesraPematangsiantar city. This type of research is quantitative with acorrelational method. The population in the study were all eighth gradestudents in the MTs Mesra Pematangsiantar city, amounting to 89 people,while the sample amounted to 72 students using the Krejcie Morgan table.Data analysis techniques used simple correlation and correlation analysiswith a significant level α = 0.05. The results of the study are: (1) there arepositive and significant contributions to learning habits with learningoutcomes ini MTs Mesra Pematangsiantar city, (2) there is a positive andsignificant contribution between interest in learning with the results oflearning in MTs Mesra Pematangsiantar City., and (3) there are positiveand significant contributions together between learning habits and interestin learning with Al-learning outcomes ini MTs Mesra Pematangsiantarcity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) differences in AkidahAkhlak learning outcomes of students taught with scientific approacheswith students taught with contextual approaches, (2) differences inlearning outcomes Akidah Akhlak students who have visual, auditory andkinesthetic learning styles, and (3) the influence of the scientific approachand student learning styles on the learning outcomes of Akidah Akhlak.This research method is quasi-experimental with the population of thisstudy are students of class VII (Seven). The sample was chosen into twoclasses with cluster random sampling technique, in this case selected forthe experimental class with a scientific approach is class VIIa with thenumber of students 31, while for the control class that is the contextualapproach is class VIId with the number of students 34. Instruments of datacollection is a questionnaire and test of learning outcomes. The techniqueby analysis of variance (Anava) at "α" = 0.05. The results of this study are:(1) student learning outcomes taught with scientific approach (= 33.5)higher than student learning outcomes taught with contextual approaches(= 28,7), with Fcount = 68,10> Ftable = 3.988 , (2) student learningoutcomes with visual learning style (= 34.21) higher than student learning outcomes with kinesthetic learning styles (= 28.38) and auditory learning styles (= 27.69), with Fcount = 79,32 > Ftable = 3.988. And (3) there is aninteraction between learning strategies and learning styles towardslearning outcomes with statistical calculations known F count = 30,16>Ftable = 3.988. Further test calculations using the Scheffe test also showeda significant difference between student learning outcomes taught by thescientific approach and the contextual approach (CTL) as well as studentlearning outcomes with visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning implementation of Islamicreligious education curriculum in improving the quality of education inAl-Azhar High School Medan. Include; Curriculum design, efforts toimprove the quality of education, planning, implementation, andevaluation. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews. Dataanalysis techniques using data reduction, data display, and conclusiondrawing / verification. The results of the study show that: 1) The design ofthe Islamic religious education curriculum that is used in Al-Azhar MedanHigh School is the same as the government curriculum, only there isdevelopment in the material. 2). Efforts are made in improving the qualityof education by taking into account the education, output and process ofeducation. 3) Implementation of the PAI curriculum in the presence of:planning, implementing, and evaluating education.
