Manazhim Journal is an interdisciplinary publication of original research and writing on islamic education management. This journal was published by Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (MPI) STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok - NTB which was published twice in a year (biannualy), February and August with a minimum of 5 articles. The journal aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of the field of education and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills. Scientific manuscript dealing with Islamic education management science topics are particularly welcome to be submitted.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The population in this study were all undergraduate students of the Muhammadiyah University of Palopo for all the subjects taught by the author. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique which is only aimed at students who take courses that are taught by the author in several majors, one of which is the accounting department. The data in this study were obtained through a questionnaire that was filled out online by students using Google Form. The questionnaire used was adapted from the practical course service satisfaction questionnaire issued by the Center for Learning Development and Education Quality Assurance (P4MP) Bengkalis State Polytechnic, where the questionnaire consisted of three aspects of assessment namely (a) aspects of teaching and learning, (b) aspects of competence lecturers, and (c) infrastructure aspects. From the results of the analysis, the results obtained for the teaching and learning aspects of the majority (110 or as many as 68%) of students thought that online learning could be accessed well, besides the results of manual calculations using the Ms. application. Office Excel obtained an average result for the teaching and learning aspects of 3.28

Abstract

Kyai is a core factor and a central figure in pesantren because all the organizing of pesantren is centered on him. Individual-charismatic leadership in pesantren for certain purposes is needed, but at the same time can also be a weakness of pesantren. Thus, kyai's functions and leadership roles are seen as important to answer the challenges of the times. Pondok Pesantren Sukamiskin and Miftahul Falah are experiencing developments based on the strong leadership role of kiai in pesantren. The purpose of this research is to find out the functions and leadership roles of kyai in sukamiskin boarding school and Miftahul Falah Bandung. This study uses qualitative descriptive methods. The result of this study is known that Pondok Pesantren Sukamiskin and Miftahul Falah have undergone a leadership transformation by applying the tradition of leadership kyai pesantren which aims to develop pesantren. From the existing thing that kyai leadership role has occurred by not eliminating the characteristics of pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how to carry out moral education through extracurricular activities in Islamic boarding schools. The values contained in scouts are very high, helping to install character values that are very suitable for basic students informing moral values and fostering personality values in them. The methodology or approach used in this paper is through a library research method or approach. Abstract

TPQ Al-Istiqomah in the process of learning fiqh thaharah uses the lecture method. The use of the lecture method is deemed ineffective to use in the delivery of this thaharah material, because santri tend to be bored, sleepy and less focused, besides that there are some materials in thaharah that are needed by santri concentration in the process of understanding. Therefore it takes a method or learning media that is more attractive and appropriate to the age of the santri, the media is an audio-visual learning media, this media will awaken more of the santri senses in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning of thaharah fiqh material for santri so that they can understand thaharah and can practice and practice it in everyday life. The conclusion of this study is that it is proven that the use of audio-visual learning media is proven to be more effective in increasing understanding of the learning material of fiqh thaharah compared to the previous learning method, namely lectures. This is evident from the results of the evaluation of the students' learning at the end of the lesson in the form of prayer reading, memorization and practice.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of using a language games-based electronic program on developing the oral expressions of people with learning difficulties in the English language during the emerging Covid-19 pandemic. The study used the experimental approach and implemented the program on a sample of 84 students, who were distributed to an experimental group (42) and a control group (42). The instruments of the study consisted of the training program and a test for the evaluation of oral expressive performance. The study found the existence of significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the acquisition of oral expression after receiving the training program in favor of the experimental group.

Abstract

Low student interest in learning affects student learning outcomes. Thus, stimulation is needed to increase student interest in learning so that it can improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the application of the Color-Coded Co-op Cards (CoCoCa) learning model in increasing students' interest in learning towards Islamic Education in MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Sumberkerang Gending Probolinggo and its supporting and inhibiting factors. This study uses a qualitative research approach. The type used in this research is a case study. The results of the study are based on data exposure and interview results, the Color-Coded Co-op Cards (CoCoCa) learning model is very suitable to be applied in MI Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Sumberkerang Gending Probolinggo the Color-Coded Co-op Cards (CoCoCa) cooperative learning model is able to create an atmosphere and learning conditions that are pleasant and not saturating. This is different from the findings in the observation results, when the teacher uses the lecture method, the majority of students feel boredom so that students passively participate in learning and even fall asleep in the classroom. However, when the teacher applies the Color-Coded Co-op Cards (CoCoCa) learning model, it is known that the percentage of student interest in learning increases by up to 85% to be more active in learning compared to other learning model.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the head of MADRASAH MI NW Lendang Ara made a policy in improving the professional competence of teachers. Policy is the fundamental basis for carrying out something with a specific purpose. This study uses qualitative, namely research conducted descriptively and analyze fe-nomena, events, social activities, attitudes, beliefs and perspectives of each person or group, while the data collection in this study using observations and interviews. This research was conducted at MI NW Lendang Ara, Kec. Kopang Central Lombok. In improving the professional competence of teachers the head of madrasah MI NW Lendang ara makes policies to make teacher training such as holding seminars, supervision, multi-disciplinary training and giving awards for teachers who excel and give freedom to teachers in developing themselves to increase their potential.

Abstract

This study aims to find out innovations in developing a pesantren-based school curriculum in increasing public confidence in SMP Islam Sumberranyar Paiton Probolinggo. This research uses a qualitative approach, while the type of research used is a case study. The results of the study show that: innovations in developing pesantren-based school curriculum in increasing public trust are as follows; The innovation of developing a pesantren-based school curriculum in Islamic junior high schools has improved very well, from the development of the school curriculum trying to develop a pesantren curriculum by changing the learning system, the supporting factors for innovation in developing a pesantren-based school curriculum in Islamic junior high schools include the principal involving all relevant stakeholders, both administrators and administrators. The entire board of teachers, community leaders, guardians of students as well as support from boarding school caregivers, inhibiting factors for innovation in developing a pesantren-based school curriculum in Islamic junior high schools, the low awareness of teachers to develop learning tools, this hampers the innovation of developing a pesantren-based school curriculum which was developed together at Sumberanyar Islamic Middle School Paiton, while the positive impact of curriculum innovation developed at Islamic Junior High School can increase public confidence in Sumberanyar Islamic Junior High School Paiton Probolinggo

Abstract

Theology is an effort to contextualize religious teachings, not just textualizing, to answer human problems, not only problems of faith, monotheism but also cultural problems, problems of daily life, where the problems faced by humans are never-ending. In the context of Islam, the word theology will be more precise and meaningful when it is associated with the word Islam, so that the understanding of theology in question is theology that breathes Islam. An understanding of educational theology, in fact requires the inclusion of the conception of education and or deriving the concept of education in and from the schools of mutakallimin thought. Education is an interaction, namely the process of giving and taking, between humans and the environment. It is a process by which humans develop and create the skills needed to change and improve human conditions and their environment, as well as the formation of attitudes that guide their efforts to rebuild their human and physical characteristics. Education in Islam is often interpreted as At. Tarbiyahi (Education), the meaning is very thick and related to ar-riyadhah (practice). The training in question includes physical and spiritual training. The purpose of Islamic education is the formation of students to become servants of Allah who are pious and responsible for carrying out worldly and ukhrawi work.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine how the implementation of madrasa-based management and the results of this implementation in increasing the output/graduates of students at MA Mathlaul Anwar Kepuh Serang Banten. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected by means of interviews, field observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by reducing data from interviews, then presenting data and finally drawing conclusions as a form of answers to the background of the research problem. The implementation of madrasa-based management at MA Mathlaul Anwar Kepuh Serang Banten includes, curriculum management, student management, management of educators and education, management of facilities and infrastructure, financial management, and management of relations with the community running well from planning to evaluation. The implementation of madrasa-based management in increasing student output/graduates at MA Mathlaul Anwar Kepuh is generally carried out well, as evidenced by the presence of several students who can continue their education at public and private universities. There are even some students who can continue their studies with the tahfidz scholarship program abroad. Being able to improve students' non-academic achievements can be seen from the increasing achievements achieved by MA Mathlaul Anwar Kepuh even though they have not been able to improve academic achievement at MA Mathlaul Anwar seen from the lack of increase in UN scores from the previous year.
