Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership management on the performance of educators and education personnel. Many things are related in order to support the success of an Islamic educational institution, one of which concerns the style displayed by the figure of the leader or the pattern of behavior that he displays in leading. In general leadership style there are two leadership styles namely task oriented style (task oriented), and member oriented style (employee-oriented). In subsequent developments along with social changes the model and style of leadership underwent a change in the style of transactional leadership, transformational leadership, and visual leadership. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. Data from this study were obtained from the school principal, board of teachers and other school staff at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman. Data collected by observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive - qualitative. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership management is able to improve the quality of the performance of educators and education personnel in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the wisdom and educational values of the verses of Muhkamat and Mutasyabihat in the Qur'an. The method used in this research is library research where the writer tries to find, compile and analyze various information through various related sources. The Qur'an has functions as a bayan (explanatory) and hudan (guidance) which contains an explicit verse or muhkam. Besides, it also has functions as the greatest miracle and literary book in human history which contains an implicit verse or mutasyabih that will never end to be studied and researched. Muhkamat and mutasyabihat verses are two complementary things in the Qur'an. There is an immeasurable wisdom and educational value for both. Therefore, in learning and understanding both is as well as learning the wisdom of decreasing the Qur'an itself.

Abstract

Rural communities are communities that live in the same area , which are united and together, have strong ties and greatly influence one another. This is because the traditional village community is still very strong and thick. In general, village communities are identified with farming communities, this is because rural communities are predominantly making a living from agricultural products which are poor farmers whose livelihoods are below the poverty line. This shows a very large gap from urban communities . This study aims to determine the socioeconomic conditions of tobacco farm households in the village Batu Nampar Jerowaru District . The problem to be investigated is the effect of tobacco farming on the level of income of the farming community. This type of research is a descriptive study in which the population is 415 farm households with a sample of 25 people using purposive sampling techniques. While the data collection techniques used in this study are direct interview techniques based on a list of questions that have been prepared previously. Based on the results of research and data analysis, the gross income of Rajang tobacco farmers is Rp. 90,230,000. the total cost spent by farmers during one growing season is Rp. 33,854,000 with an average of Rp. 1,354,000. Net income of Rajang tobacco farmers after deducting costs by Rp. 56,376,000 with an average income of Rp. 2,255,040. Judging from the indicators of welfare and based on the reference to the level of welfare from the three aspects measured namely housing, education, and health, the average respondent farmer is in the welfare category even though there are still some who are not yet prosperous. Where the pre-prosperous category is 7 people, prosperous I are 11 people, prosperous II is 5 people, prosperous III is 2 people and none of them have reached Prosperous III Plus.

Abstract

In the industrial revolution 4.0 eras, the role of education has undergone the various changes; one of them is the headmaster role and leadership which should adapt to the requirements of the revolution. This research has a purpose to find out the headmaster leadership style deal with the industrial revolution 4.0 eras in the perspective of education management. It uses qualitative method with phenomenology approach. Its data collection techniques are observation, interview, and research documentation. Within, the interviewees consist of 6 headmaster and 1 school supervisor of the private school in Surabaya. The result shows that the headmaster leadership style transforms to be democratic as the result of the changing. Also, in the industrial revolution 4.0 eras; the headmaster knowledge and skills need to be strengthened, especially in the technology and entrepreneurship skills.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the strengthening of digital literacy through the development of digital media based Islamic high school curriculum in facing the challenges in 4.0 era. The method used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through direct observation and interviews. Based on the results of first observations at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Park, the condition of the school has the potential that has not been maximized, namely the use of digital media in learning. Strengthening digital literacy is done through a model of curriculum development based on digital media in designing objectives, materials, strategies and evaluating learning. The digital literacy component that is the focus of research includes skills in information literacy and media literacy; digital scholarship skills, media literacy, learning skills, ICT literacy through guided assignments using digital media; and communication and collaboration skills through the active participation of students by using their digital media to collaborate and communicate in learning. This research is expected to make a positive contribution in the model of curriculum development in Islamic high schools that is in line with the times, through strengthening digital literacy to face challenges in 4.0 era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the concept of Islamic education in the perspective of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and its relevance for the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. This study is a library research with a qualitative approach. The data collection method used is the method of documentation through systematic and holistic data collection. Then the data is analyzed descriptively and critically. The results of this study are the findings that: (1) Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas is a highly educated religious figure. This is evidenced by his educational background from childhood to adulthood which is not far from the intellectual field despite having been involved in the military world. He delivered hundreds of scientific speeches in various countries in the world, especially in Islamic countries. He has won various national and international awards for his total contributions to contemporary Islamic thought. (2) The concept of Islamic education in the perspective of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas can be seen holistically through his various ideas about humans as well as about the Islamization of science and standardization of basic understandings of Islamic terms. The most important idea in the concept of Islamic education according to him is reflected in the term ta'dib which refers to the meaning of Islamic education. (3) From the concept of Islamic education in the perspective of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas there is relevance for the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Among them is the concept of human beings who apparently also reflects the goal of national education, which is to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become citizens which is democratic and responsible as written in Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System.

Abstract

One of the phenomena in SDN JELUPANG 2, there are some third-grade students based hasiltest psikologin should students majoring in social studies by teachers enter incorporated into science stream. Some of these students by their teachers felt able to accept that there are lessons in class. However, the treatment teacher had an impact that is not good for their students. This study aimed to find out problems faced by students in majors that are not appropriate interest. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approaches. Subjects were high school science students in grade III SDN JELUPANG 2. When research is done. From the results of this research is that students have problems at the majors that do not fit their interests, that students feel forced, pressured, bored in lessons given by teacher. And note also that students are also not eager to follow the lessons and not learning concentration.

Abstract

This paper is the result of a descriptive qualitative research that aims to find out about the interests and talents of students in elementary schools. The results of this study indicate that interests and talents refer to the results of students' understanding. The strategy applied by classroom teachers is to provide material interests and talents into learning materials, choose the right methods and media, remedial, build communication, set an example, give appreciation and knowledge, identify and choose assistance programs. Class teacher competence still needs to be improved so that students' interests and talents in learning can be better than before.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the application of scientific learning models conducted at SDN Palsari 3. Thus study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were teachers and students in elementary schools. Data collection techniques using observation, intervierws, and data analysis. Data analysisechniques used are the miles and huberman modelswich include data collection,data reduction, and data presentation. The validity test of the data used is the reliability test whichh is done by triangulation of sources. The results of the study indicate that the teacher has implemented a scientific approach to the maximum starting from the planning, implementation, and assesment in the learning process. The steps of the activities in the application of scientific learning which includes observing, asking, trying, reasoning and communicating activities that have been implemented by the teacher. Student activities in the learning process show that students have been to be active, enthusiastic and motivated.

Abstract

Teaching activities carried out by professional teachers are not only oriented towards the dimensions of the creative faculties, but are of the dimension and intention. Because in the perspective of educational psychology, teaching in principle means the process of teacher actions that make students learn. This behavior includes open behaviors such as reading skills (the realm of intention), closed nature such as thinking (the realm of copyright) and feeling (the realm of feeling) each teacher is responsible for determining the formulation of specific and general learning targets as goals of teaching and learning activities which must be achieved after the teaching-learning process activities are finished. The importance of learning, there are three forms of development that occur in every human being, namely motor development, that is development related to changes in physical abilities (motor skills), cognitive development, that is development related to intellectual abilities, social and moral development, namely the development process related to the process changes in the way each individual communicates or relates to others, both as individuals and as groups.
