This study uses a quantitative approach with the population in this study is the new students of SMK X in 2020/2021 as many as 114 people. The data collection technique uses a Likert scale instrument consisting of a self-confidence scale consisting of 30 items and a self-disclosure scale consisting of 30 items that have been tested for reliability and validity. The data analysis technique used the Pearson product moment correlation technique with SPSS version 22 for windows. The results showed that there was a relationship between self-confidence and self-disclosure. The higher the self-confidence, the higher the self-disclosure and vice versa. Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of resilience in mediating the relationship between emotional regulation and psychological distress in students of the Medical Study Program, Sebelas Maret University. The population of this study were all active students of the Sebelas Maret University Medical Study Program. The sample used is 90 people, taken using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Collecting data using a scale consisting of a psychological distress scale (α = 0.934), an emotion regulation scale (α = 0.907), and a resilience scale (α = 0.901). The results of the mediation analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between emotional regulation and psychological distress through resilience in students of the Medical Study Program, Sebelas Maret University (p=0.898>0.05). The estimated direct effect is greater than the effect of mediating resilience (-0.148>-0.0005). This is possible because there are other factors such as intrapersonal factors which consist of personality traits related to individual emotional tendencies and situational factors originating from situations that are felt to be harmful or offensive to individuals.

Abstract

Psychological Well-Being (PWB) of members is an important thing that needs to be considered by leaders who have the task of ensuring PWB of the members to maintain the productivity and performance of members. Voluntary organizations, with different characteristics from government and profit-based organizations, have several challenges in their organizational life that can influence the PWB of the volunteers, including the problem of leadership practices. Several previous studies have found that the ideal leadership style applied in voluntary organizations is participative leadership. Based on those facts, this study aims to determine the effect of participative leadership applied by the leader of PMI Kota Makassar to PWB of PMI Kota Makassar members. This research is a correlational study, involving 168 volunteers who were obtained using snowball sampling, through filling out an online form of a participative leadership scale and PWBS. The research data was analyzed using a simple linear regression technique to see the contribution of participative leadership on PWB. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05) and an R-Square value of 0.091. These results indicate a significant and positive influence of participative leadership on PWB of the PMI Kota Makassar members, with 9.1% of the contribution influence.

Abstract

This study was intended to determine the relationship between self-concept and social support with consumptive behavior in students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection tools in the form of a scale, including the consumptive behavior scale, self-concept scale, and social support. The subjects used in this study were University X students aged 18-21 years who were selected using the cluster random sampling method from 12 faculties, then the Faculty of Psychology, Economics and Business, Law, and Pharmacy, totaled 204 students. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling method. Analysis of the data used is multiple linear regression using SPSS software. Based on the results of the analysis of the major hypotheses proposed by the researcher, it can be concluded that there is a very significant relationship between self-concept and support and consumptive behavior. Then the first minor hypothesis proposed by the researcher can be concluded which means that there is a very significant negative relationship between self-concept and consumptive behavior. The second minor hypothesis concludes that there is a very significant negative relationship between social support and consumptive behavior. The effective contribution given to the variables of self-concept and social support in influencing consumptive behavior can be seen in the model summary table in the R square table which shows the results of 11,0832%. With the contribution of the self-concept variable of 10,989% and the contribution of the social support variable of 0,0942%.
