Abstract

The Faculty of Forestry, University of Papua has a lecturer named Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Budihusodo, MP has data on medicinal plants in West Papua Province, Arfak Mountains district, with as much data as 70 medicinal plants. These medicinal plant data were researched and lab tested directly by Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Budihusodo, MP at Mulawarman University in the city of Samarinda, East Kalimantan and at the University of Papua. These data want to be developed into a Search Engine Application so that users can search and find out the benefits and uses of medicinal plants in the Arfak Mountains District of West Papua. This Search Engine application is made web-based, using PHP, MySQL as a database, and XAMPP as a web server. This Search Engine application is designed with a very simple flow and interface design so that it can be easily used, with the Medicinal Plants Search Engine application users are able to get information about the medicinal plants they are looking for.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of a coffee fruit sorting system, which is a part of an embedded automation system for coffee processing and storage. The implementation of this system aims to improve and maintain the quality of coffee throughout the production and storage processes. The embedded automation system for coffee processing begins with the coffee fruit sorting system, which is responsible for selecting perfectly ripe and high-quality coffee fruits. Subsequently, the system proceeds with coffee bean production and storage processes. The developed system comprises small-scale subsystems capable of performing various coffee processing tasks. These subsystems can be integrated to form a larger system capable of handling coffee production and storage processes. The research utilizes software technology embedded in the hardware system. The employed software technology is a component of an intelligent control system, which utilizes artificial intelligence as its underlying control mechanism. The maturity classification of coffee fruits is divided into three classes: KM (immature), MM (mature), and MS (fully mature). This classification scheme simplifies the understanding of the sorting process.

Abstract

Masyarakat kota Manokwari sering melakukan transaksi jual beli secara online dan barang-barang yang dijual seringnya merupakan barang bekas pakai. Ada banyak media internet yang digunakan untuk melakukan transaksi jual beli secara online salah satunya yaitu sosial media Facebook. Barang-barang yang dijual di situs Facebook sangat beragam sehingga seorang user butuh waktu lebih untuk mencari produk yang ingin dibeli. Dengan bantuan aplikasi web pencarian barang bekas dengan teknik web scraping yang dibangun akan mampu mempermudah dalam melakukan pencarian produk-produk bekas yang dijual di kota Manokwari. Aplikasi dibangun menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development yang mengutamakan kecepatan dalam pembuatan sistem. Menurut hasil mengujian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode black box testing, sistem telah mampu mengumpulkan data barang-barang bekas yang dijual di sosial media facebook yang berasal dari kota Manokwari. Pencarian yang dilakukan berdasarkan keyword yang dimasukkan oleh user.

Abstract

The population data information system at the village level in Dindey still relies on a manual system where only family cards, ID cards, and other documents are collected and stored in village cabinets. This has caused several inconvenient issues, especially regarding the storage of population data. There are often difficulties in searching for information about new residents or residents who have moved away from the village. Considering these challenges, a web-based application using PHP programming language and MySQL titled "Web-Based Population Data Collection Application for Dindey Village" is needed to assist the village government in conducting population data collection in the village. The research method employed in this study is the Waterfall method. The results of this study indicate that the application is accessible, and the features within the Population Data Collection Application for Dindey Village function properly.

Abstract

GKI FJS Rumainum Church is a split church from GKI Utrecht Sauabas, which was founded on June 13 until now. However, the church announcement system that uses paper is still ineffective and inefficient. Therefore, this research aims to develop an Android application that minimizes errors, facilitates the delivery of information, and saves the cost of making church newsletters. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and literature study. Application development uses the waterfall method, through the stages of analysis, design, implementation with Kodular, and testing. The result is the FJS Rumainum Church Congregational Warta application which was successfully created using Kodular and MySQL tools. This application has a menu about the church, worship schedule, information, and login. Application testing uses the BlackBox method and the results of the tests show good results, meet the specifications set and are expected to help church members get accurate information.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a website-based village profile application, with a case study in Adibaboi Village, Manokwari Regency. This application is designed to help Adibaboi Village in introducing the village profile online, connecting the community with the village government, and making it easier to access information related to Adibaboi Village. The method used in this research is a software development method using the waterfall model, which consists of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance stages. The research results show that this website-based village profile application can be accessed by the public via the internet and has features such as information on village history and culture, village activities and agendas, organizational structure, list of officials and contacts, as well as village location maps. This application is expected to increase information openness and transparency of village government, as well as help the community to gain access to information related to Adibaboi Village more easily and effectively.

Abstract

Communities in Jayapura use groundwater for their daily needs both from springs, dug wells and drilled wells. The research was conducted in the Sentani and surrounding areas. The purpose of this study was to determine the physical and chemical properties of groundwater based on laboratory tests. The physical and chemical properties of groundwater are one of the main properties of water and are very useful for determining the quality of groundwater. This study took three sampling locations with stratified random sampling method. The samples taken were springs, dug wells and drilled wells. The parameters of the physical properties of groundwater tested included pH, temperature ( T0C ), TDS, hardness ( CaCO3 ), while the parameters of the chemical properties of ground water tested included magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), potassium (K), Sodium (Na), Sulfate (SO4), Chloride (Cl) and Bicarbonate (HCO3). In general, all samples analyzed from the study area showed that the levels of chemical elements in groundwater had not exceeded the drinking water standard limits, but there were locations that had high levels of magnesium, namely location 1 (Sosiri) of 149 mg/L. The results of the physical properties test showed that the test content value had not exceeded the drinking water standard limit, in the sense that the groundwater in the study area was suitable for use. Abstract

The laboratory room in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Papua is a room with the main activities of reading, writing and practicum. The Electrical Engineering laboratory room has two practicum rooms, namely electrical laboratory rooms 1 and 2 with a room area of 79,695 m^2. Electrical laboratory rooms 1 and 2 have artificial lighting, the number of lights installed in the room is 13 light points, consisting of 9 types of TL lamps with a lamp power capacity of 2x36 watts/72 lumens and 4 types of Phileps Essential lamps 1x8 watts/54 lumens In this research, an analysis was carried out on the distribution of light in each laboratory room in Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Papua, because it was suspected that there was a lack of lighting intensity in laboratory rooms 1 and 2. The method used in this research was the direct observation method, defined as observing, measuring, and systematic recording of symptoms that appear on the research object. Measuring the intensity of lighting using a luxmeter obtained measurement values of 255,6 lux (electrical laboratory 1) and 266,82 lux (electrical laboratory 2). The calculation results of the lighting intensity in the Electrical Engineering Laboratory 1 room were 399.32 lux, and in the Electrical Laboratory 2 room it was 257,66 lux. When compared, the standard value is still taken according to the requirements of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI 03-6575-2001), namely a minimum of 500 lux.

Abstract

CCR as an important component of runway edge light that functions to regulate a constant fixed current at each lamp load with the level of lighting divided into five levels. The electrical system on the runway light is one of the applications of electrical science that uses the basic CCR components that can produce constant current. This runway edge light electrical system is assembled using two final circuits installed in series with the intention that if one of the circuits goes out, the other system can still function, The electrical system on the runway edge light is one of the applications of electrical science that uses the basic CCR components that can produce constant current. The Electrical system of the runway edge light is designed and planned with the use of light intensity that can be seen from all angles at a sufficient height, so as to give instructions to the aviator at the time of landing or take-off, and the light intensity used, the current density for the cable is usually the maximum used is 20 A/mm2, and the cross-sectional area of the cable used is 1x6 mm2 with the current passing through the circuit is 6,6 Amperes, so that a current density of 1,1 A/mm2 is obtained.

Abstract

Manokwari city is the capital of Papua Barat which is developing, along with the development and increase in the number of residents in this city so that, demand for electrical energy in this city is increasing. Factors that affect the level of electrical energy demand in the city of Manokwari are population growth, increase in the number of electricity customers, number of industries, and economic factors, namely Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP). The method used in this study is the trend analysis method, which is used to see the linearity of increasing factors that affect the growth of electricity loads in the city of Manokwari. The Growth each of these factors will be a reference for future researchers to forecast the growth of electricity load in the city of Manokwari. From the results obtained, the value of R-square or R² aims to determine how big the model is. The higher of R² value, the better the prediction model from the results of the research conducted, the R² value of the customer growth trend of 99% affects the growth trend, the R² of the population growth trend of 93%, the R² of the power trend generated by 97% and the R² value of the GDP trend of 56%.
