Abstract

A socket is software used to communicate data between computers on a network, which is a combination of an IP (Internet Protocol) address and a port number. In data communication on a computer network, one of the important things that are lacking attention and understanding from users is information security, both in terms of information content and communication lines. So without realizing it that the communication lines used have been infiltrated by other people. Because one of the loopholes that can be exploited in infiltrating other people's networks is a socket on the network. One way or method of securing communication lines on a network is socket programming. Socket Programming is a protocol that makes connections between devices in a network so that one program can interact with other programs in a network.

Abstract

Al-Washliyah 9 Medan Private Middle School is a junior high school located in Belawan, Medan City, North Sumatra. Selection of the Best Teacher is a program initiated by Al-Washliyah 9 Private Middle School Medan to improve the quality and performance of teachers, which can affect professional allowances and promotions. A decision support system based on the Multi Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method was developed to assist in selecting the best teacher. The implementation of the MOORA method uses a decision support system as expected with a percentage of accuracy of the calculation on the test results of 100%. Applying the Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis method or abbreviated as the MOORA method in determining the best teacher at SMP AL Wasliyah 9 Medan. The reason researchers use the MOORA method is because several previous researchers used a decision support system using the MOORA method in solving / resolving problems in decision makers. With research using this method, it is hoped that the school leaders/principals at SMP AL Wasliyah 9 Medan can minimize problems at school in determining the best teacher at school. So that when determining the best teacher is faster and more precise.

Abstract

A hotel is a temporary lodging place intended for the general public, both individually and in groups, who come from different areas as well as for the people in the area. Hotels are often used by the community as a place to rest or stay because they are considered a comfortable place to rest or other things that support the convenience of the community. The development of hotels in various cities can be said to be very rapid, judging by the large number of hotels, both star and jasmine class, which are scattered in various cities in Indonesia, one of which is Medan City. According to the central statistics agency for North Sumatra in 2017 the city of Medan has 11,366 hotels. With the large number of hotels in the city of Medan scattered in several locations with various hotel classes, hotel rates and hotel facilities make it difficult for people to determine which hotel is appropriate according to existing criteria. If you choose the wrong hotel where to stay where there are no guarantees such as comfort, facilities and others as desired, it will not have an impact on people who want to stay overnight. Therefore it is necessary to implement a method to support a decision support system for choosing the best hotel in the city of Medan according to the desired criteria. Researchers implemented the Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis method or commonly abbreviated as the MOORA method in a decision support system to choose the best hotel in the city of Medan. The reason researchers use this method is because several previous researchers used a lot of decision support systems using the MOORA method in solving problems in decision makers. With this research, the public will gain new knowledge to choose hospitality in the city of Medan. Where the outcome promised by the researchers in this study is the sinta 5 accredited journal.

Abstract

Abstract: The academic information system is a very important system to help the lecture process become more effective and efficient. To evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of academic information systems, we need a method to see the level of user satisfaction. In this study the PIECES Framework method will be used to evaluate the level of student satisfaction in using the academic information system at Pembangunan Panca Budi University. The PIECES Framework method is a method used to evaluate a system consisting of performance , information, economics, control and security, efficiency, and the service to be analyzed. Data collection in the form of a questionnaire. Respondents will be used as many as 100 students from the computer systems study program. The results of the study show the level of user satisfaction with academic information systems meeting user needs.

Abstract

The Integrity Zone is one of the programs implemented in various government institutions, including the PoliceAcademy, to improve public services and strengthen good governance. In this context, the development ofinformation technology-based systems is crucial to support the efficiency and effectiveness of programimplementation. This study aims to develop an Integrity Zone System at the Police Academy using the RapidApplication Development (RAD) Method. The RAD method was chosen because of its ability to speed up thesystem development process through the use of prototypes that can be changed and adapted to user needs. Theresult of this research is the Integrity Zone System at the Police Academy which has been developed using theRAD Method. This system is able to facilitate the implementation of the Integrity Zone more efficiently andeffectively. Through the features provided, users can manage and monitor activities related to the IntegrityZone, collect and analyze data, and generate the required reports. This research is expected to contribute tothe development of information technology in government institutions, especially in the implementation of theIntegrity Zone program. The RAD method used in this study can also be a reference for other system developersin dealing with projects with tight deadlines and fast changing needs..

Abstract

Diseases pose a serious threat to the health and well-being of livestock in the livestock industry, especially in goat farming. In addressing this challenge, the use of intelligent technologies such as expert systems is becoming increasingly important. Expert systems are computer programs that can mimic the knowledge and skills of human experts in specific fields. One of the methods used in expert systems is the Certainty Factor method. Certainty Factor is an inference method used in expert systems to measure the level of confidence in a conclusion based on predefined rules. This method takes into account certainty or uncertainty factors in decision-making. In the detection of diseases in goats, the Certainty Factor method considers the symptoms found in goats and calculates the confidence weights for each disease that may be the cause of those symptoms. This research aims to develop an Android-based expert system application using the Certainty Factor method. The results obtained from this research show that the application can assist goat farmers in identifying diseases that affect their livestock, enabling early intervention and reducing losses due to animal deaths.

Abstract

Rapid technological advances have revolutionized various industries, including the retail sector, especially in the restaurant food category. One of the important developments in this operation is the emergence of a website-based Point of Sale (POS) application. This application utilizes web technology to providse an efficient and easy-to-use solution for managing sales transactions. The main goal is to understand the key features, benefits and challenges associated with this kind of application. The presence of the POS application helps overcome problems associated with manual sales systems, such as errors in recording transactions and the difficulty of monitoring finances. Therefore, this research has succeeded in creating a website-based Point Of Sale application using the prototype method in its development. The POS application uses the Codeigniter framework and MySQL as the database. The application built can help manage master data, transaction data, income and expense report data more easily and quickly. This application has been tested using black box testing. The testing process involved a diverse set of usage scenarios, including food ordering, order management, payment processing, and financial reports, print and print which produced results that matched their functionality.

Abstract

The  objective  of  the  research  was  to  find  out  and  to  analyze  the influence of Return on Equity, Current Ratio, Debt to Assets Ratio, and Return on Assets simultaneously and partially on Stock Return with Stock  Price  as  moderating  variable  in  146  consumer goods  companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and 87 of them were used as the samples. The data were processed by using Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test and analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research showed that Return on Equity,  Current  Ratio, Debt  to  Assets  Ratio,  and  Return  on  Assets simultaneously had  significant  influence on  Stock Return.  Partially, Return on Equity had positive but insignificant influence on Stock Return, Debt to Assets Ratio had negative and insignificant influence on Stock Return, Current Ratio had negative but significant influence on Stock Return, and Return of Assets had positive but significant influence on Stock Return. From the result of the test on moderating variable, it was concluded that Stock Price was not able to moderate the correlation  of  Return  on  Equity,  Current  Ratio,  Debt  to  Assets Ratio, and Return on Assets with Stock Return.

Abstract

The monitoring system of the heart's electrical activity is the basis of the electrocardiograph (ECG) in monitoring the condition of the heart, the ECG series consists of biopotential amplifiers from an ECG instrument which is the main component in this study, recording cardiac activity is still a burden for the medical world in the use and results of the expected output. From the results of research conducted on the heart rate graph (BPM) at the Medan Health Facility Security Center, the results of research were obtained using the MPS450 multiparameter simulator, where when changes were made to the signal gradually changes in values at 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 200, 220 had a distance change in time in sending and receiving data displayed on the android monitor screen (LCD). MNC Sky Vision (formerly known as PT Matahari Lintas Cakrawala) is a company involved in operating the first Pay TV in Indonesia. The problem of evaluating employee performance is something that cannot be avoided in today's world of work. Assessment by voting with the most votes is still considered ineffective because the measurement of values ​​is still guided by interpersonal relationships and the principle of conscience.
