Abstract

Top-down membaca adalah sebuah proses dimulai dengan pembaca berfokus pada ide utama dari teks dan informasi lainnya yang mereka dapat memahami segera. Strategi membaca efektif membutuhkan keseimbangan antara kedua proses, tapi harus dimulai dengan proses top-down. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca kelas delapan di SMP YLPI Pekanbaru Dalam memahami teks Recount. Top-Down Processing adalah cara alternatif dalam pemahaman mengajar membaca. Membaca adalah cara umum untuk mendapatkan informasi dan pengetahuan. Melalui membaca orang akan mendapatkan ide-ide yang mereka inginkan, dan akan dapat menggunakannya sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka. Sebagai contoh, jika ternyata pada radio yang menggunakan teknologi baru atau dalam model modern yang kita belum pernah menggunakan sebelumnya, kita akan membacanya secara manual. Singkatnya, orang membaca untuk mendapatkan informasi yang disajikan dalam bentuk tertulis. Setelah menghitung data, peneliti menemukan bahwa total rata-rata dari kelompok dan kelompok kontrol eksperimental dalam pre-test adalah 60,5 untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 56 untuk kelompok kontrol. Di tingkat signifikan 0,5 dihitung adalah terbesar dari t-tabel (0,94 <2.021) di derajat kebebasan (df 38). Ini berarti bahwa t-obs lebih tinggi dari t-tab. Setelah pengobatan diberikan dalam mengajar untuk kelompok eksperimen selama enam pertemuan untuk meningkatkan membaca kemampuan untuk menceritakan teks, pasca-uji diadministrasikan untuk kelompok, kelompok eksperimen adalah 82,5 dan kelompok kontrol 65,5 dapat dilihat itu berarti peningkatan dibuat oleh kelompok eksperimen untuk pre-test post-test 22% dan kelompok kontrol adalah 9,5%. Berdasarkan standar perhitungan deviasi dari kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol adalah pengujian hipotesis, ditemukan bahwa nilai t-obs lebih besar dari t-tab (1,08> 2,021) di tingkat keputusan alpha α = 0,5 dengan derajat kebebasan (df 38) karena itu, hipotesis nol ditolak. Ini berarti ada yang signifikan Menggunakan Strategi Pengolahan Top-Down Menuju Siswa Membaca Pemahaman tentang Teks Recount Delapan Tahun di SMP YLPI Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of cooperative learning type of think talk write (TTW) model to the creativity and communication of students in the economic subjects of X-class students at YLPI High School Pekanbaru. Based on observations or observations Based on observations in the field of student creativity in SMA YLPI Pekanbaru is less creative in doing the problem, given the teacher let alone about the matter of each logic and the student has not been able to develop creative ideas, this is identified by many of his students who imitates his friend and the contents of all the answers in the class about the same problem. Furthermore, the student communication with the teacher is not good or even less polite for example when the teacher teaches in the class sometimes there is one of the students who call the teacher with the sister's call in the class, the students often regard the teacher as a friend and sometimes fellow friends use the local language. The design used in this research is the design of one group pretest and post test design to compare the condition before and after being treated. Thus, this research uses one group pretest-post test design method, given pretest before receiving treatment or learning and at the end of the learning is also given a final test (post-test). The samples in this study were 93 students. The result of the research on the hypothesis research and testing model which proposed in this research resulted the conclusion of manova analysis done with the processing done by using SPSS V.21, the method variables were tested with the procedure of piilai's, wiks 'lamda', hotelling's and roy's. Results of data processing padatabel found that all procedures show the same significant number, namely sig 0.0257> 0.05, so Ho accepted because It can be concluded that there is no influence of the method thik talk write (TTW) on creativity and communication.

Abstract

The study consisted of one variable, it was teacher’s ability in improving student’ learning creativity. The purpose of study was to find out how teacher’s ability in improving students’ learning creativity of eleventh year students of social studies at economic subject at SMP N 1 Pangean. The subject of study was the teacher of economic for eleventh year students of social studies at economic subject at stat senior high school 1 Pangean and the object was teacher’s ability in improving students’ learning creativity of eleventh year students of social studies at economic subject at SMP N 1 Pangean. The population of study was a teacher of economic for eleventh year students of social studies at economic subject at SMP N 1 Pangean. The writer did not take any sample for the population of study was not few so the study was called by population study. The data of study were collected using questionnaires and documentation. The data which have been collected were qualitative data and some of them were quantitative data and all data were analyzed with descriptive qualitative analysis technique with percentage. The conclusion of study were that teacher’s ability in improving students’ learning creativity of eleventh year students of social studies at economic subject at SMP N 1 Pangean was categorized “good” with the percentage was 75.75% and this number in the range of 61%80%..

Abstract

Ada banyak jenis menulis kalimat bahasa Inggris dalam tata bahasa, seperti: kata benda, kata sifat, kata kerja, kata ganti, kata keterangan, kata depan dan lain-lain Berdasarkan peneliti penelitian pendahuluan mereka tidak dapat menemukan, mengidentifikasi dan memperbaiki kesalahan kalimat meskipun mereka memiliki mempelajari pemahaman menulis dan kalimat gramatikal seperti: Grammar I, II, Advance dan lain-lain tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengoreksi kesalahan dalam kalimat bahasa Inggris dan persentase penguasaan mereka dalam menjawab tes. Penulis tertarik melakukan penelitian tentang masalah ini. Penelitian ini diberikan pada Mahasiswa FKIP UIR. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa tahun ketiga di FKIP UIR dan objek penelitian adalah studi tentang kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengoreksi kesalahan dalam kalimat bahasa Inggris Mahasiswa Semester tiga di FKIP UIR. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua mahasiswa Semester tiga. Jumlah populasi adalah 280 mahasiswa dan jumlah total sampel adalah 33 mahasiswa. Penulis menggunakan tes tertulis sebagai instrumen penelitian yang terdiri dari 40 tes item. Untuk menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan rumus nilai rata-rata, Variance, dan standar deviasi. Setelah menganalisa data, penulis menemukan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengoreksi kesalahan dalam kalimat bahasa Inggris yang baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari nilai rata-rata tes siswa dari kalimat kesalahan yang terdiri dari 4 bahan. Skor rata-rata tes siswa dari yang tidak benar / s.present hilang tegang adalah 81,2%, hadir continous tense 63,3%, quantifier 49,6%, kata keterangan dan klausa kata sifat 34,8%. Berdasarkan kategori skor siswa dapat diklasifikasikan ke dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMicro teaching is a teacher training technique for learning teaching skill. It employsreal teaching situation for developing skills and helps to get deeper knowledgeregarding the art of teaching. However, the teachers may give necessary backgroundfor the observation of a model or demonstration lesson on the selected teaching skill.Hence, Interest of becoming teacher is a person desire for something related to hisfuture or aims. It becomes an interest for a profession. Indeed, emerging the interest,one should be aware of his potency and capabilities he possesses. This study focuseson students’ peformance in micro teaching and field practice teaching at the seventhsemester of English Students of FKIP UIR which consists of 23 students as sample ofthis research. The researchers used descriptive method and have used score frommicro teaching and field practice teaching and questionnaires as a collecting data ofresearch. After collecting data from questionnaires and calculated the correlationbetween micro teaching score and field practice teaching score, the researchers havefound that robs was higher than r table( 0,713> 0,413) at level significant 5% and it wasthe same at level significant 1% the robs was higher than r table (0,713 > 0,525), fromthe result it can be concluded that null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and alternativehypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Then, the coefficient correlation of robserved was 0,713, itmeans that there was a high correlation between students’ peformance in microteaching and their performance in field practice teaching.

Abstract

This study would like to reveal the magnitude of the role of parents, especiallymothers in educating children and this should be one of the important considerationsin fostering a bright future family. But what happens is just the opposite, where withthe growing number of children, the easier it is for parents to hand over theireducation and care to other parties or people, including formal education institutions.This study uses qualitative methods through related literature review. The results ofthis study revealed the importance of the government playing a role in educationthrough special attention to the existence of formal and non-formal educationinstitutions. In addition, government care is also important in improving the quality ofeducation for mothers as informal education providers for children. Though as amother who has a big role in parenting and children's education plays a veryimportant role so that the influence of the planting of children's intelligence should berealized by the mother. In order to be able to compete with other countries in thefuture, then a great attention to efforts to empower children needs to be improved.The government through institutions such as the Minister of National Education, theMinister of Women Empowerment, Minister of Health, BKKBN and others canbecome pioneers through related policies. Of course the Government must strive sothat the interest is accompanied by providing sufficient knowledge to the mothers. Abstract

One issue that is important adult education reform is decentralization of educationmanagement. To implement policies Based Quality Improvement Management School(MPMBS) as an alternative form chosen in the implementation of the decentralization ofeducation, readiness areas and educational institutions (schools) are still in doubt, because toimplement the necessary requirements to be met, especially with regard to human resources,school and community environments. The general objective of this research is that it canprovide a deeper understanding on matters relating to the implementation of policies toimprove the quality of education in the era of decentralization and regional autonomy. WhileSpecifically, this study aims to describe, analyze, and interpret the readiness of resources inSMKN I Kuala Cenaku Desa Kuala Cenaku Inhu in implementing MPMBS, process of policyimplementation MPMBS in SMKN I Kuala Cenaku Desa Kuala Cenaku Inhu, Communityinvolvement in implementation MPMBS policy, factors that support and hinder theimplementation of the policy I MPMBS at SMK Kuala Cenaku Desa Kuala Cenaku Inhu. Theresults of this study indicated that the readiness of human resources (principals and teachers)in Kuala Cenaku SMKN I Desa Kuala Cenaku Inhu in implementing MPMBS policies, inquantity sufficient and ready because they had met the eligibility requirements of the standardof teaching. And also the implementation of policies MPMBS can be quite effective, and canpromise that this program is better than management models and lessons learned in the pasttend to be conventional for involvement or participation in education, especially at theimplementation MPMBS in SMKN I Kuala Cenaku Desa Kuala Cenaku Indragiri Hulu hasincreased.

Abstract

Character education is a national movement creating schools that foster ethical, responsible, and caring young people by modeling and teaching good character through emphasis on universal values that we all share. This paper is exploring how theory, research and commentary about character building of ELT in Indonesian context. By reviewing journal published, the writer come to the three worth to be discussed. When we talk about character building, we can separated to character education, then the questions will come up to 1)Can we embrace character education in schools?, 2)What is the relationship between language and character building?, 3) and Is it possible to attain ‘Moral Values’ as a result of language and character building?. Abstract

This study identifies factors that influence the determination of entrepreneurial. Thereare five for influence elements of determination entrepreneurial: self-efficacy,achievement motivation, facilitates capital, social relationships and entrepreneurialknowledge. A questionnaire was distributed to 389 university students. Finding shownthat the majority of students agreed that entrepreneurial knowledge, self-efficacy,achievement motivation and facilitates capital of key factors do influencedentrepreneurial determination. AMOS path analysis was used to identify thecontribution of the direct and indirect influence of the five dimensions ofentrepreneurial determination. Several hypotheses have been tested and found thatentrepreneurial determination influenced by entrepreneurial knowledge, self-efficacy,achievement motivation and facilitates capital. However, gender, financial supportand group activities did not moderate the entrepreneurial determination, whereasstudent residence do moderate to entrepreneurship determination. Furthermore, selfefficacydo moderated by gender, student residence and group activities, but financialsupport do not moderate self-efficacy. Gender, student residence, financial supportand group activities did not moderate achievement motivation. Finally the studyproposes guidelines to develop an effective entrepreneurship curriculum for universityin the Riau Province.Key words: entrepreneurial determination, self-efficacy, achievement motivation,facilitates capital, social relationships, student residence, entrepreneurialknowledge

Abstract

The research was classroom action research (CAR). The purpose was to improved student’s activeness and mastery of chemistry learning which concerned to colloid systems by using cooperative learning model type TGT (team games tournaments) at the XII grade of engineering major (TKJ) in SMK YAPIM Siak Hulu, district of Kampar, RIAU. Based on the result of research which accomplished into two cycles, I cycle and II cycle by applying cooperative learning model, particularly TGT (team games tournaments) type during chemistry teaching learning process could improve student’s activeness and score completeness of chemist learning the average presentation of students activity in I cycle was 54,59% (enough), meanwhile in II cycle was 63,52% (enough). The improvement of students learning activity presentation was followed by the improvement of students accomplishment in chemist learning at I cycle as 77,42% (STDS) and II cycle as 87,10% (STDS.).
