Abstract

Bahasa daerah merupakan bahasa pendukung bahasa Indonesia yang keberadaannya diakui oleh negara. Berdasarkan Undang - Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 1999 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah yang intinya memberi keleluasaan daerah untuk lebih memperhatikan potensi daerahnya masing - masing, maka gubernur mengeluarkan SK yang mengatur tentang Penetapan Kurikulum Mata Pelajaran Bahasa daerah pada satuan pendidikan. Dengan adanya kebijakan baru tersebut, maka permintaan akan guru Bahasa daerah yang kompeten di bidangnya sangat mutlak diperlukan sehingga menyebabkan banyak perguruan tinggi yang membuka Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Daerah.Banyaknya out put lulusan dari jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Daerah mengindikasikan bahwa kebutuhan akan guru bahasa daerah akan segera terpenuhi. Dengan memiliki guru yang berasal dari back ground pendidikan yang sesuai akan mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran. Materi akan tersampaikan dengan penuh dan tepat sasaran karena guru memiliki penguasaan materi yang baik, bagi materi kebahasaannya maupun budayanya. Dengan menggunakan metode dan media pembelajaran yang tepat menjadikan pembelajaran bahasadaerah itu semakin menarik dan hidup. Guru akan menghidupkan gairah siswa untuk mengikuti pelajaran bahasa daerah. Singkat kata, pembelajaran bahasa Daerah di masa yang akan datang, akan menjadi lebih baik. Baik dari segi materi yang meliputi kebahasaan, budaya, dan adat istiadat. Pembelajaran bahasa yang semakin baik akan membatu merevitalisasi di kalangan para penuturnya

Abstract

Kitab Niti Sataka berisi tentang 100 buah sloka yang ditulis oleh Raja Bhartrihari sekitar dua ribu silam. Beliau adalah raja yang sangat pandai memimpin dan disayangi rakyatnya, disamping itu beliau juga ahli dalam filsafat dan bahasa Sansekerta. Kitab Niti Sataka mengandung ajaran tentang nilai-nilai etika dan moralitas yang sangat bermanfaat di dalam kehidupan, terlebih di zaman modern ini. Namun esensi etika dan moralitas dalam kitab Niti Sataka belum dikenal secara umum oleh umat Hindu. Ajaran yang terkandung di dalamnya sesungguhnya  merupakan ajaran-ajaran susila (etika dan moralitas) dengan ungkapan-ungkapan bahasa kekinian yang mudah dicerna oleh masyarakat umum, serta dapat diaplikasikan dalam upaya pembentukan karakter sejak dini.

Abstract

Rejang Sutri dance is different from other Rejang dances. The Rejang Sutri dance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency has uniqueness that does not exist in other villages, this dance is specially performed at the beginning of the Sasih Kelima to the end of Sasih Kesanga at Pengrupukan and danced by women who live in environment of Batuan Village, Sukawati Gianyar. The dancers have no age limit, have links to Hinduism and are the cultural identity of Batuan Village. In addition, the Rejang Sutri dance is a form of community appreciation of one of the manifestations of Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa / God. Traditionally, the Rejang Sutri dance has survived to this day. This research is entitled: Resilience of Rejang Sutri Dance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency (Sat, Cit, Ananda Perspective). The problems studied namely Why is the Rejang Sutri Dance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency still surviving, Who contributed to maintaining Rejang Sutri Dance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency, How do you maintain Rejang Sutri Dance in Batuan Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. The above problems will be examined using several theories. The theories used are religious theory, structural functional theory, and constructive education theory. In addition, in obtaining and analyzing data, several methods are used, namely the method of observation, interviews and document study. This type of research is qualitative and described by descriptive methods, in order to obtain a comprehensive conclusion. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the results of the research, it can be concluded as follows: (1) The persistence of the Rejang Sutri dance in Batuan Village is inseparable from the beliefs of the people of Batuan Village and making the Rejang Sutri dance 34 Vol. 11 No. 1 Maret 2021 as Sradha Bhakti for the people of Batuan Village where the relationship of belief in God is true truth or Sat or Satyam which is manifested in the form of sacred offerings, namely the Rejang Sutri dance, the people of Batuan Village believe that by making art an offering and its yadnya to get closer to God (Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa). In accordance with the basis of Hindu religious beliefs known as Srada which consists of five parts, namely Panca Srada. One of these srada which is closely related is the first srada, namely believing in the existence of Brahman. The people of Batuan Village believe that the performance of the Rejang Sutri dance is a means of offering that can reject reinforcements or ward off disease outbreaks. So that the Rejang Sutri dance still survives because it embraces Sat or Satyam which means true truth. (2) Contributing to the survival of the Rejang Sutri dance in Batuan Village is Prajuru Desa Adat Batuan as a supporter of the Rejang Sutri dance, which in an effort to preserve the Rejang Sutri dance has been contained in the Awig-awig of Batuan Traditional Village and has become an agreement with all Krama Batuan Traditional Village and its members. the community as supporters of the Rejang Sutri dance in its sustainability. Because the Rejang Sutri dance is a cultural heritage of sacred arts in Batuan Village. So with the performance of the Rejang Sutri dance in Batuan Village, the people of Batuan Village have supported the sustainability of the Rejang Sutri dance as a sacred and sacred offering that places Siwam or Cit which means purity, honesty, honesty as very important things and cannot be separated from Satyam or Sat who meaning true truth as well as related to Sundaram or Ananda which means beauty, happiness which the people of Batuan Village manifest in the Rejang Sutri dance performance. (3) The way to maintain the Rejang Sutri dance in Batuan Village is by means of inheritance from generation to generation because the Rejang Sutri dance contains aspects of repelling reinforcements, aspects of ritual / ceremony, and aspects of beauty related to movement, composition, costumes, arenas and aspects of happiness in survival. Rejang Sutri dance where the people of Batuan Village still maintain the Rejang Sutri dance because it is closely related to aspects of Satyam or Sat (truth), Siwam or Cit (holiness) and Sundaram or Ananda (beauty / happiness). Because in sacred offerings towards the truth a happiness is achieved from the people of Batuan Village, so that they live in safety, prosperity and peace.

Abstract

Kesenian genjek ini tergolong jenis kesenian tradisional Bali yang memadukan antara seni suara dengan seni musik tradisional Bali yang dapat digolongkan sebagai etnomusikologi. Genjek sebagai salah satu kesenian tradisional yang memadukan antara kesenian musik tradisional dengan seni suara ini juga mempunyai ekspresi, nilai, dan pesan yang ingin disampaikan lewat syairsyair lagu yang dinyanyikan itu. Nilai dan pesan itu dapat berupa kritik sosial, percintaan, nasihat, dan bahkan mungkin ada yang bersifat religius. Dalam tulisan ini dicoba untuk mengkaji bentuk, fungsi, dan makna pada wacana kesenian genjek dengan menggunakan teori ethnography speaking oleh Dell Hymes (1972). Adapun sumber data tulisan ini adalah data lisan yang telah direkam dalam bentuk kaset rekaman dan telah banyak diperjualbelikan di toko-toko kaset. Berdasarkan kajian yang telah dilakukan dapat dikatakan bahwa bentuk wacana kesenian genjek di Bali ini berupa syair lagu yang dikemas dengan menggunakan bahasa Bali. Pemilihan bentuk bahasanya disesuikan dengan pesan nilai yang ingin disampaikan. Fungsi wacana kesenian genjek ini selain sebagai hiburan, juga sebagai sarana untuk menyampaikan pesan terhadap gejala kemasyarakatan yang sedang berkembang.Makna wacana kesenian genjek ini adalah untuk memperoleh kesadaran warga masyarakat dan dapat melakukan introspeksi diri dalam berperilaku sosial.

Abstract

This research is entitled the intrinsic structure of the novel Satyaning Ati by I Komang Alit Juliartha. The aim is to find out the structure that builds the novel Satyaning Ati by I Komang Alit Juliartha. This study uses a structural approach or an objective approach, which is an approach that sees literary works as they are, examines and understands the story content. The data in this study, using qualitative data, in the form of words, sentences, dialogue between characters in the novel Satyaning Ati by I Komang Alit Juliartha. Primary data in this study are from the 164 pages of Satyaning Ati by I Komang Alit Juliartha's novel. This novel was published by Pustaka Ekspresi, in Tabanan in september 2016. This study analyzes the intrinsic elements of a novel Satyaning Ati by I Komang Alit Juliartha so that readers can better understand the constructive structures that include: themes, characters and characterizations, settings, plot, mandate, and language style. The technique used by the writer is by reading and analyzing the entire content of the novel Satyaning Ati by I Komang Alit Juliartha so that the writer can determine the intrinsic elements that build the novel. Literary works are human creations that express the thoughts, ideas, understandings and responses of their creators about the nature of life by using imaginative and emotional language. The novel is literary works that reveal various aspects of people's lives. Novel Satyaning Ati by I Komang Alit Juliartha is a literary work built by various intrinsic elements that are coherent and cohesive. In the novel Satyaning Ati by I Komang Alit Juliartha, there is a message conveyed by the author through the behavior of the characters in the novel. Hopefully this research can be useful for writers and society. So the novel is not just a mere reading, but gives a moral message to the social life of the community

Abstract

Artikel ini menguraikan tentang pendidik dalam menerapkan etika sebagai landasan mental spiritual di zaman milenial. Membahas pentingnya etika sebagai landasan mental dan spiritual pendidik Hindu untuk mengendalikan emosi dan tingkah laku dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas pendidikan dan pengajaran di zaman milenial. Dibahas menggunakan metode observasi, studi kepustakaan dan wawancara. Sikap seorang pendidik yang profesional, yakni menjauhi larangan-larangan Agama Hindu yang dapat menghambat perkembangan profesi dan perkembangan peserta didik. Berdasarkan analisis, seorang pendidikan yang profesioanal di zaman milenial ini wajib memegang teguh etika sebagai landasan mental spiritualnya. Landasan tersebut terdapat ajaran-ajaran Hindu antara lain, Panca Sraddha, Catur Purusa Artha, Trikaya Parisudha, Dharma Laksana.

Abstract

This research examines the teacher's strategy for increasing the ability to speak in Balinese. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The use of local languages in everyday life, especially Balinese, has declined due to lack of motivation to learn. This is reflected when speaking in Balinese. Seeing this phenomenon, then a teacher has an important role in improving students' speaking skills in accordance with the language of Bali. The purpose of this study is to improve students' speaking ability in Balinese. Through appropriate learning strategies, teachers are expected to be able to improve students' speaking skills, which are supported by the family environment. Factors that influence students' speaking skills using Balinese are internal and external factors. Hopefully, with the collaboration between family and teachers in schools in educating children, especially practicing the ability to speak in Balinese, can give birth to a child who loves his own culture, especially Balinese.

Abstract

Karya sastra sebagai ladang ajaran kehidupan dalam kehidupan masyarakat Hindu di Bali masih tetap ekisis keberadaannya pada era globalisasi saat ini yang akrab disebut sebagai zaman now. Salah satu jenis karya sastra Bali tradisional yang kaya akan ajaran susila, khususnya terkait Tat Twam Asi adalah kakawin Aji Palayon. Tulisan ini berusaha untuk mengungkap ajaran Tat Twam Asi yang terdapat dalam karya sastra kakawin Aji Palayon dengan perangkat teori semiotik dan religi yang didukung oleh metode analisis isi dan deskriptif analisis. Hasil dari analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kakawin Aji Palayon merupakan karya sastra tradisional Bali berbentuk tembang yang menceritakan tentang perjalanan sang atman sejak baru meninggalkan badan kasar hingga sampai pada suarga loka. Dalam perjalanan sang atman juga dipenuhi oleh ajaran Tat Twam Asi, seperti yang terdapat pada Sargah 1, Bait ke 20 dan 22 serta pada Sargah 3, Bait ke 12, 21, 25, 28, 29, 30, 35, 36, dan 37. Pada dasarnya, kunci dari ajaran Tat Twam Asi yang terdapat pada kakawin Aji Palayon, yaitu cara terbaik untuk menghadapi rintangan adalah kita harus mempunyai kesadaran serta rasa memiliki, sehingga muncullah pengertian antara satu sama lain. Dengan pengertian tersebut, maka rintangan seberat apapun akan mudah untuk dilewati.

Abstract

Bhasma Mantra was delivered by Bhatara to Bhatari. This narrative seems very different from the early part of the text of Bhūwana Kosha. Bhasma Mantra is chapter VII of the XI chapter contained in Bhūwana Kosha. Chapter VII consists of 30 slokas. Bhasma Mantra is one part of the text of Bhūwana Kosha which explains the subject of bhasma [ashes]. The intended ash is Ongkara as a result of burning Brahma mantra into the Fire of Dampati. The Dampati fire is composed of two pairs namely the Ongkara [Purusha] and Ukara [Pradhana]. Bhasma Mantra itself is the body of Shiva. This teaching was delivered by Shiva to Uma. The practice can be found in worship rituals performed by Pandhita or sadhaka. The notion of bhasma does not only stop at ashes. Bhasma in the next stage is divided into two senses, namely sakala bhasma and niskala bhasma. Bhasma Sakala is the body, while bhasma niskala is jñāna.

Abstract

The lontar manuscripts are written using Balinese script, the contents in the lontar manuscripts are various such as literature in the form of satua, geguritan, babad, usada, bebantenan, asta kosala kosali and others. Balinese literature written on lontar is one of the cultural heritages that is still being inherited today. From the findings, most of them are in an unkempt condition, this is due to the lack of public knowledge in caring for their lontar manuscripts. In general, the lontar manuscripts found in the community can be classified in the form of speech, kanda, wariga and usada, geguritan, weda, babad, kakawin texts in the form of lontar and other lontars which have their own peculiarities. From the results of the mapping carried out by Balinese Language Instructors from 2016, 2017, 2018, there were 25,106 Cakep Lontar spreads in 9 (nine) districts / cities in Bali. Meanwhile, the people who have the most lontar collections are in Gianyar Regency, while the smallest is in Jembrana Regency. This data shows that the existence of lontar manuscripts in the community is still very much found, even though some of the owners do not fully understand the contents of the lontar in their possession. With the existence of Balinese language instructors, it is hoped that the community will have more knowledge about lontar manuscripts and the growing awareness of the Balinese people about the importance of the existence of lontar manuscripts.
