Abstract

The main role of a secretary is to assist the manager or the leader ofthe company to do his job. Bisides a secretary is mean something to the otheremployee.There are many things a secretary should do in her job. For some reason a secretarycouldn’t do their jobs and duties optimally even sometimes couldn’t fi nish some ofthem at all. Their reaserch is aim to the role of a secretary to do offi ce explorepractice at Melia Bali Nusa Dua.The problem for this reaserch is how much the role of a secretary could contribute to the job of offi ce practice at Melia Bali Nusa Dua. And the aim of this reaserch isto know more about secretary’s duties and how much she could complete them well.The result of this reaserch is to do some contribution to the process of curriculumdevelopment at Bussiness Administration Politeknik Negeri Bali.Data collection is done by interview, observation and questionnaire. The result isdescribed descriptionly. The result of the reaserch is 72,13% of secretary’s dutiesshown has important contribution to offi ce practice. It is said to be in good level ofstandard.

Abstract

Insurance Industry in Indonesia in order to remain exist with the currenteconomic conditions shall require that the insurance industry can compete withother insurance industries, hence it will be need a good marketing strategy. One ofappropriate approach usage for customer satisfaction that is by improve servicequality. As the passing of free trade in global competition, the issue of service qualitybecome one of the important and very necessary to get serious consideration forany company to survive. Service quality alone is not enough to win the competition,but must build a positive image among customers to arise loyalty. The aim of thisstudy was to fi nd out the simultaneous effect of tangible, reliability, responsiveness,assurance and empathy towards JP-Graha customer’s satisfaction at PT JasaRaharja Putera Branch of Denpasar.These study were used explanation study by purposive sampling method so thatobtained number of sample were 90 people. Techniques of data analysis were useanalysis factor and path analysis.The results has been obtained that tangible variables have signifi cant effect oncustomer satisfaction variables, reliability variable have signifi cant effect oncustomer satisfaction, responsiveness variable have signifi cant effect on the customersatisfaction variables, assurance variables have signifi cant affect on customersatisfaction variables, emphaty variable have signifi cant effect on the customersatisfaction variable, customer satisfaction variables have signifi cant effect on thecustomer loyalty variables.Implications of these study in order the management should to conduct improvementand consummation on the factors that have affect on customer satisfaction that aretangible variables require attention at the offi ce layout to make it look more modernand attractive. On the dimensions of reliability and responsiveness, especiallyregarding the company’s ability to provide services as promised through selfimprovement,and moresensitive to customer complaints.

Abstract

This study aims to fi nd out the infl uence of business risk and fi rm growthtoward capital structure and the value of the fi rm. The population of this study wasall go public of industrial companies registered at The Indonesian Capital Marketfrom 2008 up to 2010. We use the path analisys technic to evaluate the relationsamong variables of non fi nancial industrial companies. While the direct and indirect impact of these variables were also observed.The result shows that business risk and fi rm growth have different impact towardboth capital structue and value of the fi rm. The fi rst regression shows that businessrisk has negatively signifi cant infl uence on capital structure and fi rm growth haspositively signifi cant infl uence on capital structure. The second regression showsthat bussiness risk has negatively signifi cant infl uence and fi rm growth has positivelysignifi cant infl uence on fi rm value. This study also confi rm that capital structure haspositively signifi cant infl uence on the fi rm value.

Abstract

Invesment is cultivation of certain fund in number at the moment to getresult of larger ones a period of/to to come. In general invesment can be differentiatedof real invesment and invesment of fi nansial. Real invesment most commonlyhappened at traditional economics, where this invesment include;cover real assetlike land;ground, building, other physical matter or machine. Whereas invesmentof fi nansial in modern economics which entangle contract - contract written, likecommerce of obligation and share Intention of this research is to know competent or plant asset invesment do not whichhave been UD. Utama which evaluated from Its aspect of him.From result of analysis, hence can be concluded to following : Period Payback ( PP) obtained by 1 year 7 months 28 day meaning the the invesment competent tobe continued, because waktu yang needed to to close again expenditure of shorterinvesment of economic age of plant asset invesment, that is 8 year. Net Present Value( NVP) obtained is positive of Rp. 446.314.013 meaning yielded acceptance that isis positive, invesment bigger than invesment early, so that looked into invesment[done/conducted] by UD. Utama to be continued. Profi tability Index ( PI) obtainedresult of equal to Rp. 2,3 bigger than one. This matter [of] menunjukan each;everyinvested rupiah will be obtained by earnings equal to Rp. 2,3. Thereby invesment[done/conducted] by UD. Utama to be continued is. Internal [of] Rate Of Returnobtained by result 61,6 % which bigger than expense of or capital of cost capitaof! accounted by is company equal to 18%. so that invesment by UD. Utama to becontinued. Pursuant to conclusion above plant asset invesment is .UD. Utama which evaluated from aspect of fi nansial competent to in to continuing.

Abstract

The aims of this research that relate for the green teapot prothotype whichdecorate of patra punggel (d 17,5 cm – h 14,5 cm) were : (1) To calculatecost ofgood manufactured; (2) To determine cost price; (3) To recognized ending inventory;and (4) To knew the influences of financial variable to financial statements currentperiod. The research results shew that : (1) Cost of good manufactured the greenteapot prothotype which decorate of patra punggel (d 17,5 cm – h 14,5 cm) actuallywas Rp 73.625,00 each unit, that followed by raw materal cost Rp 38.750,00, directlabour cost Rp 15.500,00, variable ovrehead cost Rp 11.625,00, and fixed overheadcost Rp 7.750,00, but according to Standard Costing systems (theoretically) was Rp85.698,44 each unit, that followed raw materal cost Rp 38.750,00, direct labourcost Rp 40.589,10, variable ovrehead cost Rp 4.688,71, and fixed overhead costRp 1.670,63. Cost of good manufactured green teapotprothotype actually smallerthan theoretically Rp 12.073,44; (2) Cost price the green teapot prothotype actuallywas Rp 84.668,75 each unit, that priceformed by cost ofgood manufactured Rp73.625,00 expected profit margin Rp 3.681,25, and operation expense Rp 7.362,50(marketing expense Rp 4.417,50 and general & administration expense Rp 2.945,00),but according to full cost pricing method (theoretically), cost price was Rp 98.553,20each unit, that priceformed by cost of good manufactured Rp 85.690,44, expectedprofit margin Rp 4.284,92, and operating expense Rp 8.569,04(marketing expenseRp 5.141,90 and general & administration expense Rp3.427,93). Cost price greenteapotprothotype actually smaller than theoretically Rp 13.884,45;(3) Endinginventory of green teapotprothotype actually was Rp 4.417.500,00, but accordingto Special identification (theoretically), ending inventory was Rp 5.141.906,40.Ending inventory of green teapot prothotype actually smaller than theoretically Rp 724.416,40; and (4) Financial variable actually that followed by cost of goods manufactured, cost price, and ending inventory green teapotprothotype causedfinancial statements actuallywas understated.

Abstract

Banking is everything which is concerning about Bank, including institute,business activity, and also the way of and process to execute its effort, while Bankrepresent the nucleus, core institute from financial system, every state which is theeffort in essence muster the fund from society which is its for in the form of saving,deposit and giro, channelling to society needing fund in the form of credit and alsoservice in payment traffic. .Ability of the banks in gain profit is measured by returnon assets (ROA). The purpose of this research is to examine influence of CapitalAdequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Net Interest Margin (NIM),Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and BOPO through Return On Asset (ROA) of publicbanking listed at Indonesian Stok Exchange during 2011-2012.Research using purposive sampling method for taking samples. Data obtained onthe basis of publication Annual Bank, obtained 5 samples of General Bank. Samplesused in this research are public banking listed at Indonesian Stock Exchange onperiod 2011-2012. Analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research found that Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) andLoan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) hasn’t significant positive effect to Return On Asset(ROA), Non Performing Loan (NPL) hasn’t significant negative effect to ReturnAsset (ROA), Net Interest Margin (NIM) has significant positive effect to Return OnAsset (ROA), and BOPO has significant negative effect to Return On Asset (ROA).

Abstract

This research is carried out based on the little contribution income oftourism sector towards the real income of Klungkung regency for eight years whereas the tourism facilities that have been availabel sufficiently to attract the moretotal tourists visit. The variable use in this researdh involves : the total tourist visit (X1), the totaltaxes of restaurants and hotels (X2), the total retribution of tourism object (X3) andtotal real income (Y) of Klungkung Regency in the year 2003 to 2010. The instrument analysis which is used in this research are regression linier is use to analyze the influence of the total tourist visit, total taxes in restaurant and hotel income, tourist objects retribution toward the real income of Klungkung regency foreight years 2003 to 2010 The result of the research is that the total tourist visit, restourant and hotels incometaxes, and retribution of tourist resorts places all together significantly affectedthe original Regional Revenues of Klungkung Regency from 2003 to 2010. Thetotal tourist visit place partially and significantly affected the Original RegionalRevenues of Klungkung from 2003 to 2010, The taxes imposed upon the hotel andrestourant partially but insignificantly affected the Original Regional Revenues ofKlungkung from 2003 to 2010. And retribution of tourist risorts places partiallybut insignificantly but insignificantly affected the Original Regional Revenues from2003 to 2007.

Abstract

Portfolio diversification which aims to minimize the risk is conducted by a combinationsectoral of shares forming portofolios.The population of this study was stocks listed in the infrastructure sector, financeand consumption in the year 2008 and 2011. Analysis in this study is by Single IndexModel. The measurement of portfolio performances using Sharpe, Treynor andJensen index.Portfolio performance of each sector in 2008 was found as measured by theSharpe, Treynor index was not significantly different to the index while for Jensenwas not significantly different in infrastructure-finance and finance-consumption.Optimal portfolio performance of two sectors combination measured by all indexwas significantly not different while the performance of the portfolio while theperformance of the portfolioof each sector, two and three sectors combination did notdiffer significantly in the Sharpe and Treynor index while in Jensen it was not differsignificantly in financial with financial-infrastructre, financial with infrastructureconsumption,financial with financial-consumption, financial with infrastructurefinancial-consumption.Optimal portfolio performance in 2011 in each sectors, thecombination of two sectors and the combination betweeen each sectors, combinationof two and three sectors was not significantly different in that index.It is suggested that investor to consider the characteristics of the sector and adaptedto market conditions and the economy.

Abstract

The aims of this research relate to casting massa“CN7” (40% SukaBumi Blend : 25% RRT Feldspar : 20% Caolin : 2,5% Ball Clay : 12,5% Cuarsa)were : (1) To determine process technology casting massa“CN7”; (2) To calculatecost of good manufactured; (3) To determine transfer price; and (4) To recognizedending inventory that reported on balance sheet. The research results shew that :(1) The process technology casting massa“CN7” according to production functionwere : weighting process,grussing process, mixing process, filtring process, andcarrying process; (2)Cost of good manufacturedcor massa“CN7” according toActivity Based Costing (ABC) systems was Rp 2.896,83 each unit, that followed byraw materal cost Rp 1.960,00, direct labour cost Rp 860,84, variable overhead costRp 39,89, and fixed overhead cost Rp 36,09; (3) The transfer price casting massa“CN7”according to full cost transfer pricing methodwas Rp 3.302,39each unit, thattransfer priceformed by cost of good manufactured Rp 2.896,83, operating expenseRp 289,68 (marketing expense Rp 173,81 and general & administration expense Rp115,87), and expected margin Rp 115,87; and (4) Ending inventory casting massa“CN2” according to specific identification method was Rp 434.524,50.

Abstract

The success of an organization is determined by the quality of thosepeople who work in it. Competency is a developing problem, in which it hasbeen frequently discussed in the middle of society nowadays, especially when anorganization is facing challenges and competitions that are getting harder andharder. Due to those competition matters as the impacts of quick changes in bothtechnology and environment on each aspects of the human life, a manager has nomore choice, except to make the organization that he or she is leading now, to be notonly able to give a consumer satisfaction, produce any high quality and competitiveproducts in the market, and has an orientation on its customer value. As the result,the organization will not only be oriented to achieve a high productivity of work, butalso it will also deal with the performance on its process. The employees’ competence supports the success of an organization so much andit is obviously able to make its mission come true by paying attention to the relationbetween both selection and selection plan. Therefore, the role of competency inan organization will be apparently not only able to enhance the high productivityof an organization without accompanied by the rewarding system and measuredperformance evaluation.
