Abstract

Every company, whether engaged in the production of goods or services,the goal is to stay alive and thrive. These objectives can be achieved by maintainingand to greater profits and earnings. This can be done if the company is able toincrease its sales volume. Tiara Dewata Denpasar is a company engaged in thesupermarket business and Tiara Dewata Denpasar want to achieve it. But achievingthat goal will be hampered due to increasingly competitive business competition in thesupermarket field. Can be seen from the number of supermarkets which operates 24supermarkets in the city ofDenpasar with complete infrastructure and also coupledwith a fairly dynamic consumer Events. Thereby further inhibiting the company toincrease its sales volume. Therefore to overcome this Dewata Tiara Denpasar needto figure out an effective marketing strategy. Issue in this study is whether the mosteffective strategies to increase sales volume at Tiara Dewata Denpasar. And aims tofind an effective marketing strategy to increase the company’s sales volume. In thisstudy the authors collected data through documentation, interviews, observationsand questionnaires with qualitative data analysis technique that uses quantitativemethods to a SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis of the calculation results that TiaraDewata Denpasar located in quadrant 1 with a marketing strategy of aggressivegrowth strategy, where the strategy is to utilize and develop the strengths andopportunities (SO) combined with a more mainstream marketing mix are productand price. So, to increase the sales volume of the company, effective marketingstrategies that must be implemented by Tiara Dewara Denpasar is an aggressivegrowth strategy with the utilization and development of strengths and opportunities(SO) is a combination of product and price.

Abstract

The event that often occurs in a system and human resource managementin some companies is how employees behave themselves. One of the employee’sbehavior is turnover intention which refers and led to employees to leave their job.This presentation will explore the factors that determine the turnover intentionof employees in organization. From the search results obtained, the factors thatdetermine turnover intention is; according to Mobley (1986) factors that determineturnover intention of employees divided into two: organizational factors andindividual factors. According to Mathis and John H. Jackson (2009) there are severalcomponents that determine turnover intention and whether the employee surviveor leave an organization include: organizational components, employee relations,career opportunities, rewards, and design tasks and jobs.

Abstract

The success of a country’s development is inseparable from economicdevelopment activities in it. The fi nal objective of the national development is tocreate social justice for all Indonesian people. Economic development is a plannedeffort and done in continuous basis to manage all existing resources to improvethe welfare of the community. Indonesia consists of many islands, Provincial andRegency / City, where the province of Bali and Denpasar City as one of them, then itseconomic development is the elaboration of the national development. The economicdevelopment of Bali province as well as Denpasar city actually driven by severalsectors, including agriculture and trade sectors, hotels and restaurants and a fewmore other sectors. The economy can be said to have a solid foundation if thosesectors has balanced contribution against its gross domestic product.This study istrying to see the infl uence of agricultural and trade sector, hotels and restaurantsto the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) of Denpasar. And the goal is todetermine the effect of those sectors to GRDP of Denpasar and which one of themare more dominant and how development of GDP in 2014. From the analysis ofthis study it can be concluded that the agricultural and trade sectors, hotels andrestaurants have a positive effect on GDP of Denpasar. It means that if those sectorsare increasing, the Denpasar GDP will increase, as evidenced by the slope coeffi cientof 4.836 obtained in the agricultural sector means that if the agricultural sector rose1%, the GDP rose 4.836%, while the sectors of trade, hotels and restaurants slopesector 1.971 means that if the trade, hotels and restaurants rose 1%, the GDP rose1.971%. Trade, hotels and restaurants have dominant infl uence on the GDP about73.20%, while the GDP of Denpasar continues to rise each year becoming 16150.96billion in 2014.

Abstract

In this industrialized period and more tight competition in labour fieldnow, it is a field that has sufficient attention for the Government such as wagesand protection for labours. Human Resources is the main capital for companyand it is an abligatory duty for every company to deliver social service to labours.Jamsostek as one of state owned company (BUMN) that carries for labour socialservice program has shown its commitment to give economic social protection tolabours. The aim of this study is to know service quality toward client satisfaction oflabour social service of PT. Jamsostek (Pesero) Bali Branch. The analysis techniqueapplied to know whether there is or no correlation between service quality and clientsatisfaction, is analysis technique of Rank Sperman Correlation.Based on analysis result of client satisfaction, it is obtained average score 3.22 percent,it means that client satisfaction of labour social guarantee program PT. Jamsostek(Persero) Bali Branch is categorized satisfying, and also service quality is obtainedfor average score 3.18 percent, it means service qualityPT. Jamsostek (Persero)Bali Branch is categoeized satisfying. In relations with the result of interpolationcalculation, it is obtained rho calculation = 0.905 > Rho table = 0.371. Due torho calculation is higher than rho table, it means that there is a strong correlationbetween service quality and client satisfaction of labour social guanateen programPT. Abstract

The aims of this research were: (1) To know the Break-Even Point; (2) To determine the margin of safety; and (3) To realize target profit by decreasing offixed cost, decreasing of unit variable cost, increasing of sales price, and increasing of mixed unit sales. The research results shew that: (1) The Break-Even Point of that stoneware compositions was 5.852,12 kg that followed by 2.926,06 kg for BL-1, 877,82 kg for BL-3, 1.345,99 kg for BPC-1, 409,65 kg for BSK-1, and 292,61 kg for BNK-2 or Rp 35.087.830,04 each month, that followed by BL-1 Rp 18.141.562,46, BL-3 Rp 5.047.450,85, BPC-1 Rp 7.806.723,97, BSK-1 Rp 2.365.718,27, and BNK-2 Rp 1.726.374,49; (2) The Margin of Safety for that stoneware compositions was 2,46%, and (3) The cost-volume-profit analysis is used to plan sales of that stoneware composition. Net profit planning about Rp 167.671,48 each month at the present sales about 4.000,00 kg can acted by four ways, that is: decreasing fixed cost about Rp 2.267.622,23, decreasing unit variable cost Rp 572,16 for BL-1, Rp 573,64 for BL-3, Rp 552,88 for BPC-1, Rp 565,08 for BSK-1, and Rp 561,21 for BNK-2, increasing of sales price Rp 450,00 for BL-1, Rp 624,24 for BL-3, Rp 729,26 for BPC-1, Rp 743,24 for BSK-1, and Rp 570,26 for BNK-2, and increasing of unit sales about 995,00 kg for BL-1, 294,50 kg for BL-3, 465,00 kg for BPC-1, 145,20 kg for BSK-1, and 100,00 kg for BNK-2.

Abstract

Tax revenue is still the largest component and the main source ofdomestic revenue to support financing of government operations and development.Benchmarking conducted by the Directorate General of Taxes arranged in aconcept called Total Benchmarking. This study aimed to analyze the level of taxcompliance assessment using the ratio of total Benchmarking in the manufacturingsector in the Indonesia Stock Exchange and to analyze the results of comparisons of financial ratios taxpayer to total ratio benchmarking. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis method. Data was collected by interview and documentation.The final conclusion is that during the years 2009-2011, ratios of sample firms arestill many who are under the benchmark tax, except for one company that has a ratioof Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), pretax profit margin(PPM ), Corporate tax to Turn Over ratio (CTTOR), Net Profit Margin (NPM) abovethe benchmark tax namely PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk (SMCB), although for nontradeincome ratio to sales (pl) in 2010 is negative. Suggestions can be taken intoconsideration for companies who value ratio-the ratio is below the benchmark tax isto revise the SPT and the companies using all available ratios and per item directlydiscuss each part of the financial statements, so as to get a more in-depth information.

Abstract

The main key to winning the competition is understand and satisfy the needs and desires of consumers through the delivery of products or services quality and competitive prices, It is aimed so that consumers do not switch to other companies that will create consumer loyalty. Customer decisions to make repurchases are complex and involve cost performance and co-positive considerations. Producer are interested to know how buyers / consumers make a purchase and purchase decision as well as the factors that determine repurchase. Many factors that determine consumer intention to repurchase products and services, in this presentation only discussed five factors that include: 1) Physical Environment, 2) Social Environment, 3) Time Perspective, 4) Purchasing Objectives, 5) Mood.

Abstract

This research is carried out based on the little contribution income oftourism sector towards the real income of Klungkung regency for eight years whereas the tourism facilities that have been availabel sufficiently to attract the moretotal tourists visit. The variable use in this researdh involves : the total tourist visit (X1), the totaltaxes of restaurants and hotels (X2), the total retribution of tourism object (X3) andtotal real income (Y) of Klungkung Regency in the year 2003 to 2010. The instrument analysis which is used in this research are regression linier is use to analyze the influence of the total tourist visit, total taxes in restaurant and hotel income, tourist objects retribution toward the real income of Klungkung regency foreight years 2003 to 2010 The result of the research is that the total tourist visit, restourant and hotels incometaxes, and retribution of tourist resorts places all together significantly affectedthe original Regional Revenues of Klungkung Regency from 2003 to 2010. Thetotal tourist visit place partially and significantly affected the Original RegionalRevenues of Klungkung from 2003 to 2010, The taxes imposed upon the hotel andrestourant partially but insignificantly affected the Original Regional Revenues ofKlungkung from 2003 to 2010. And retribution of tourist risorts places partiallybut insignificantly but insignificantly affected the Original Regional Revenues from2003 to 2007.

Abstract

Negative perception about business people as the profit pursuer is, at one side, normal, but at the other side, becoming a concern of business people themselves to prevent such perception increases as stigma that business people think that “the end justify the means”, or in other words, in order to gain the profit, the business people could take any means deemed necessaary regardless the ethics and/or moral considerations. In order to avoid such negative perception, this paper offers a concept named multidimensional entrepreneurship. It is expected that such concept, if implemented thoroughly, not only minimise negative views, but also provide plenty of plus values toward business world, and eventually, many useful things for the societies and human beings. The aspects or dimensions offered to be considered are consisiting of : socio-cultural aspect, politic-economy (ideological) aspect, East-management aspect, science & technology aspect, business-law aspect, and spiritual aspect. The explanation of each aspect or dimension, including the values and the views brought by each of them will be further elaborated in following paper.

Abstract

The success of the empowerment of human resources in an organizationis realized by the performance of its employees. Employees are an importantresource for the organization, because it has a talent, energy and creativity thatneeded by the organization. Such as Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM)TirtaMangutamaBadung regency. The objectives of the study is : (1) to determine theeffect of leadership style to job satisfaction, (2) to determine the effect of organizationclimate to job satisfaction, (3) to determine the effect of individual characteristics toan organization commitment, (4) to determine the effect of organization climate to anorganization commitment, (5) to determine the effect of employee job satisfaction toan organization commitment (6) to determine the effect of organization commitment tothe employee performance. To determine the answer of the above research goals, thequestionnaire have distributed to 160 employees as a respondents. The data collectedwere analyzed byStructural Equation Model (SEM). The usage of SEM methods wasevaluated prior to the normality of the data, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) andthen influence analyzes of the SEM. The initial full models showed that the model isnot good, and the modifications needed to obtain the Goodness of Fit. The resultsof these research indicate, that the sixth hypothesis show a positive effect.Basedon the square multiple correlation coefficient, the employee performance variables,only 36.00% influenced by leadership style, job satisfaction, organization climate,individual characteristics and organization commitment.There are other variablesto be observed and implemented, in order to improve employee performance.
