Abstract

Small and medium industry (SMI) is the leading sector of the economy of Bali that have contribution on export and labor absorption. In the face of the increasingly competition nowadays, SMI should have primacy as a typical company’s ability to win the competition. The purpose of this research is to know the application of empowerment of human resources and its role in the creativity of employees as a source of competitiveness of the company. Responden in this research are employees of SMI apparel industry sectors from textiles and craft industry of wood, metal, gold and silver, in the Badung Regency. These studies use quantitative analysis approach, using multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results showed that the structural and psychological empowerment simultaneously significant role in propping up the creativity of employees. Structural and psychological empowerment partially also plays a positive and significant in the creativity of employees. The results of this research may imply that the better structural and psychological empowerment happens in companies growing the SMI creativity of employees. The creativity demonstrated by the new combination makes creative in completing the work and improve the ways of completing tasks so that the results of its work more meaningful for the company in the face of an increasingly tight competition.

Abstract

Dalam menata laporan keuangan yang baik maka perlakuan akuntansi dan keuangan sangat penting untuk diperhatikan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini penting dilakukan karena selama ini manajemen dan staf LPD Desa Adat Lukluk karena masih rendahnya pengetahuan karyawan tentang topik ini. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan tentang perlakuan akuntansi dan keuangan bagi manajemen dan staf LPD Desa Adat Lukluk. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pemecahan masalah adalah metode ceramah dan pendampingan. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk menyampaikan pengetahuan tentang perlakuan akuntansi dan keuangan dan aplikasinya pada perusahaan jasa keuangan khususnya LPD. Pendampingan juga digunakan untuk mendampingi peserta dalam mengaplikasikan teori yang diperoleh dalam praktek di LPD. Peserta pelatihan adalah pimpinan, karyawan, dan Badan Pengawas LPD Desa Adat Lukluk berjumlah 13 orang yang dikumpulkan dalam suatu ruangan kemudian diberikan pelatihan. Selanjutnya setiap seminggu sekali dilakukan pendampingan untuk memastikan pemahaman tentang perlakuan akuntansi dan keuangan yang diterapkan di LPD Desa Adat Lukluk. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa para peserta serius mengikuti pelatihan, yang ditunjukkan dengan aktifnya mereka dalam diskusi tentang permasalahan yang dihadapi. Penilaian peserta terhadap kegiatan pelatihan sangat baik. Untuk itu disarankan pendampingan terus diberikan untuk peningkatan kompetensi karyawan dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari aktivitas ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan manajemen UMKM kepada penenun Endek danSongket di Desa Gelgel Klungkung. Secara historis Desa Gelgel merupakan sentra industri yangmemproduksi kain songket dan endek yang khas dan terkenal di Bali dan manca negara. Namun dalamaktivitas produksinya mereka masih mengalami kendala-kendala terutama dalam bidang modal, design, danpemasaran. Sehubungan dengan upaya pengembangan potensi UMKM dan mengatasi masalah tersebut,,maka Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Udayana melaksanakan pengabdian dalam bentuk “PelatihanManejemen Penenun Endek dan Songket“, yang dipusatkan di Ruang Pertemuan Desa Gelgel Klungkung.Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 60 orang perwakilan dari penenun songket dan endek yang ada di wilayah DesaGelgel. Berdasarkan hasil monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, dapat disimpulkanbahwa kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik, lancar, dan mencapai target yang ditetapkan. Hal ini terindikasi daritingginya respon dan partsisipasi penenun terhadap pelatihan yang dilaksanakan, dan dinamisnya diskusidalam pelatihan. Pada akhir diskusi, peserta berharap agar pelatihan serupa dapat diadakan lagi untukmembantu mereka membentuk Koperasi Tenun di Desa Gelgel pada program pengabdian yang akan datang.

Abstract

Leader is a person who actively make plans, coordinate, doing experiments and leadingthe work to achieve the goal together. Leader and leadership is the nature of humanity, since thehuman there. At the moment leader and leadership have been there. The discussion of leaders andleadership in general explain how to be a good leader, types and character in accordance withany leadership and the ability possessed by a leader in order to be a leader who idolized on thepresent and the future of organization. Edmonds’ research (1974) in Sobry Sutikno (2014) presentthere are 25 characteristics need to be owned by the leaders in order to become a leader whoidolized both the present and the future of the organization will be presented in this paper.

Abstract

The event that often occurs in a system and human resource managementin some companies is how employees behave themselves. One of the employee’sbehavior is turnover intention which refers and led to employees to leave their job.This presentation will explore the factors that determine the turnover intentionof employees in organization. From the search results obtained, the factors thatdetermine turnover intention is; according to Mobley (1986) factors that determineturnover intention of employees divided into two: organizational factors andindividual factors. According to Mathis and John H. Jackson (2009) there are severalcomponents that determine turnover intention and whether the employee surviveor leave an organization include: organizational components, employee relations,career opportunities, rewards, and design tasks and jobs.

Abstract

As a global era, the 21 st century has been responsible for the dramaticchange taking place in organizations. On one hand, its has threatened both publicand personal organization; on the other hand, it has created opportunities for them.The opportunities to develop within organizations, to develop career, and to bepaid in accordance with their smart performance and positive attitude toward theirorganization are the indicators showing their organization citizen behavior (OCB)in their organization. This present study discusses the definition of OCB, the motivemotivating it and the factor forming the OCB ofemployee in their organization.

Abstract

Performance is a level of achievement description from implementationof an activity/ a policy program in achieving target, goal, mission, and vision whichis outlined in strategic planning of an organization. Performance assessment is aperiodically determination of operational effectiveness of an organization, part oforganization and its personnel, based on the target, standard and criteria predefined.Organization is a system consists of cooperation activity pattern which is doneregularly and repeatedly by a group of people to achieve a certain goal. Business isan organized individual business activity to produce and sell goods and services togain profit in fulfilling the people’s needs. Balanced scorecard is a new frameworkto interact various dimensions that are obtained strategy; measuring the companyperformance to four balance perspectives, they are: finance, customer, internalbusiness process and learning and growth.

Abstract

Financial technology innovations that are currently developing have provided convenience for the user community in the fields of financial systems, asset management to micro and small business (MSME) financing. The long objective of this research is to optimize the Peer-To-Peer Lending financing model based on the analysis of the preferences of potential lenders in determining MSME financing decisions. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. Sampling used purposive sampling of MSME actors throughout Bali. The data analysis technique used is logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the estimation model can determine the decision to provide financing to Peer-to-Peer Lending. The variable amount of credit and the term of financing proved to be able to predict financing decisions significantly. While the financing objective variable is not proven to be able to predict financing decisions significantly in Peer-to-Peer Lending financial institutions.

Abstract

The development of human resource management (HR) is driven by the progress of civilization, scientific education and the demands of society to compete, survive and develop in producing goods or services. Experts in the 20th century developed HRM into a field of study that specifically studies the role of human development in achieving organizational or company goals. The three approaches used to understand human resource management are: a) conventional or mechanical approaches; b) paternalistic approach; c) social or contemporary systems approach. Human resource management challenges are relatively tougher to face in countries where corporate culture is more dependent on top managers or company owners. Identified challenges faced by HRM that need to be overcome in the face of an open business, full of competition in a free trade system including: external challenges and internal or organizational challenges.
