Abstract

Secara teknis dan teknologis, komunikasi kemudian dibedakan menurut perspektif siapa yang mengelola dan menyebarkan pesan, media yang digunakan, jenis dan sifat pesan yang disampaikan, dan umpan balik (feedback) yang muncul kemudian. Perkembangan teknologi media elektronik modern misalnya telah menyatukan individu dalam sebuah jaringan komunikasi yang lebih bersifat instan yang disebut global village (desa global), khususnya jaman sekarang bagi generasi milenial yang setiap hari tidak pernah lepas dari gadget atau smartphone. Teknologi media modern terutama televisi dan internet, menyebabkan tidak jelasnya lagi batas-batas geografi dan budaya masyarakat antara suatu negara dengan negara lainnya, bahkan kondisi semacam ini menciptakan masyarakat pengguna berada dalam suatu keadaan “hyper-realitas” baru yang terintegrasi secara maya.Video Call adalah telepon menggunakan ponsel dengan layar video dan mampu menangkap video (gambar) sekaligus suara yang ditransmisikan. Fungsi telepon video sebagai alat komunikasi antara satu orang dengan orang yang lainnya secara waktu nyata (real-time). Aplikasi video call ini terdapat dalam Media sosial terbesar yang paling sering digunakan saat ini antara lain: Facebook, Twitter, Path, Youtube, Instagram, Kaskus, LINE, Whatsapp, dan Blackberry Messenger. Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena orang yang menggunakan media video call dalam berkomunikasi sehari-hari dalam pemanfaatan teknologi komunikasi, di mana metode penelitiannya yaitu kualitatif dengan menggali informasi dengan wawancara mandalam kepada informan.

Abstract

ABSTRACTDuring a democratic wave, the organization of governments is altered – sometimes by peaceful reform, sometimes by dramatic overthrow – in ways that are widely held to be more democratic. During such a democratic wave, there is a great deal of discussion of the virtues of democracy, social movements often demand more democracy, and people in positions of authority proclaim their democratic intentions. During antidemocratic waves, governments are transformed in ways that are widely held to be undemocratic, social movements proclaim their intention to do away with democracy, and government figures proudly express their hostility to democracy.1(Markoff 1996b: 1–2)

Abstract

ABSTRACTBali is a renowned travel destination that is visited by travelers from all over the world. European travelers, particularly, has been one of the largest share markets that visit and spend their holiday in Bali since a long time ago. Marketing communication campaigns are executed by practitioners in hospitality industry to grab European market share, through not only traditional media, but also digital or online media, to increase room nights as well as revenue. This study focuses to identify the effectiveness of online and offline Integrated Marketing Communication strategy towards the buying decision of European travelers, including their behavior in the process of decision-making. Do the marketing communication strategies through traditional media influence them in choosing a hotel, or does the tendency of using new technology make the online media play more roles in decision-making? Knowing which media is effective, it is beneficial to the companies in hospitality industry in Bali to understand the behavior of the clients’ decision-making and to push their marketing communication campaigns through the right medium that influences their clients’ buying decision.Keywords :Integrated Marketing Communication, , European Tourist Consumer Behavior, Travel Agent , Online Travel Agent .Purchase Decision

ABSTRACTKeywords: interpersonal communicationThis study entitled Analysis of Interpersonal communication of teachers byusing media pecs for children with special needs in the foundation of golden childrenof Denpasar. The purpose of this study was to find out how to communicate withchildren with special needs in the golden child foundation.Children with special needs are children with different special characteristicsgenerally without always showing mental, emotional or physical disability Childrenwith special needs remain eligible for treatment and are considered the same asnormal children in general. Children with special needs require the role ofinterpersonal communication of teachers in building confidence of children so as tohave the confidence in interacting with normal people and new environment.This research uses interpretive approach. The research method used isqualitative method with descriptive level. Therefore, to meet the existing data,researchers chose informants in this study are teachers and guardians of students inthe golden children's foundation. Selection of informants by using purposive samplingtechnique. While data collection techniques through interviews and observationThe results of this study indicate that the interpersonal communication ofteachers to students in learning and playing activities are delivered verbally or nonverbally well established where the teacher focuses on giving spirit and praise toprovide motivation and foster self-confidence of children.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMovies as entertainment, information and education can influence thecommunity based on the message content implicit in the film. Korean drama "MiracleIn Cell no.7" is a film that tells about the struggle of a father who willingly sacrificedhimself for the happiness of his daughter. This research is a qualitative researchusing semiotic approach, especially semiotics of John Fiske which there are threelevels to analyze the object in the film that is reality level, representation level andideology level.The results of this study indicate that in the movie "Miracle In Cell No.7"there is the role of the characters who carry the message of masculinity in theanalysis through the analysis of male relationships with the social world, men withthe world of work and the relationship of men with family.Keywords: Masculinity, Film, Semiotics, John Fiske

Abstract

ABSTRACTReputation is the important thing to keep in every company. The good or a bad of company’s reputation depends on how the management in that company especially how the public relation’s performance in facing every crisis. Crisis has unexpectedly character and would be worst if it can’t take seriously. One of the crisis that happens in Bali’s government is about the dog-meat trading issue, which is this have been pubished in some foreign media. With this crisis, researcher wanted to research about the strategy in prublic relation’s government in facing this crisis according to method of public relation’s crisis management by Lazarsfeld and Reitz.In this reseacrh, researcher tried to connected the strategy that have been public relations of Bali’s government did with the six steps according to Lazarsfeld and Reitz’s method. The result of this research is The public relation of Bali province government could apply the strategy which have been planned appropriate with method of public relation’s crisis management that be reference of researcher, therefore the result that expected could be achieved by the implementation of that strategy.Keywords : public relation’s crisis management, strategy of public relation.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the K-pop cultural phenomenon that occurred among Undiknas University Denpasar students. As well as analyzing the form of assimilation and the communication effect that is caused by the existence of K-pop culture in the middle of student association. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive describing the experience of students who directly feel what kind of a k- pop culture. Data source used is primary and secondary data source. In the selection of informants, the research used perposive sampling technique, the informants chosen were Undiknas students themselves. Data collection techniques used literature study techniques, observation, and interviews.This study uses Phenomenology Theory as the main theory that assess an event through real experience or experience experienced individually. The informants gave their opinions and judged what kind of a k-pop culture, after they experienced themselves as fans of K-pop culture. In addition, the informants realized there were some changes from within the self, attitude, and habits that started following Koreans. Assimilation Theory is also used in studying the changes that are particularly related to the culture and effects that arise namely the cognitive effects, affective effects, and conative effects of Korean dramas, music and products that are loved by students who love K-pop culture.Keywords: K-pop Culture Phenomenon, Cultural Blending, Phenomenology Theory.

Abstract

PENDAHULUANKorupsi merupakan satu kata yang selalu memjadi buah bibir dan menjadi isu yang kerap up to date untuk didiskusikan, dengan kata lain bahwa korupsi merupakan fenomena    yang    cendrung    menarik perhatian dan    mengundang opini publik. Dapat disimak pada beberapa media baik media massa, elektronik, maupun media social lainnya yang setiap saat bertambah. Pada berbagai media tersebut setiap rubriknya cendrung tidak mengabaikan kasus-kasus tentang korupsi. Seperti pada era reformasi ini yaitu korupsi dalam kaitan dengan    E-    KTP ,    dugaan    korupsi    Asian Games 2018, proyek simulator ujian SIM Korps Lalu Lintas Polri, kasus korupsi Wisma Atlet Hambalang, kasus jual beli perkara Pemilukada ( bila dicantumkan semuanya bisa saja akan mempertebal halaman tulisan ini. Mencermati pernyataan tersebut tampaknya korupsi telah mengakar dan mendarah daging terutama dikalangan birokrasi pemerintahan. Ironisnya Kepala Kejaksaan Negeri Pamekasan (Jawa Timur) ditangkap KPK karena menghentikan proses hukum yang ditangani akibat dari menerima suap    Rp    250    juta    rupiah”(Jakarta Compas.Com, Rabu 2/8/2017).

Abstract

ABSTRACTVillage Consultative Body function in accommodating and aspirations of rural communities Selalejo, District Mauponggo, Nagekeo District. Issues examined in this research is how the function of the Village Consultative Body Selalejo in accommodating the aspirations of rural communities and districts Selalejo Mauponggo, Ngada. The aim of this study was to determine the function of the village consultative body (BPD) Selalejo, District Mauponggo, Nagekeo District in accommodating and aspirations of society. This research was conducted in the village of Selalejo, District Mauponggo, Nagekeo District. Data collection technique used observation, documentation and interview. The data were then analyzed using descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques, where researchers convey information obtained by processed, interpreted and examined in detail from observations and interviews. The results showed that the Village Consultative Body Function in accommodating and aspirations of rural communities Selalejo, District Mauponggo, Nagekeo District, was in accordance with the mandate of the law no. 6 of 2014 villages of the local government. These results were obtained from the information that is obtained when the researchers conducted observations in the village Selalejo and also some interviews done to society Selalejo, Chairman of the BPD, BPD members selalejo.Keywords: Village Consultative Body Function

Abstract

ABSTRACTFormulation of the problem of this research is how the implementation of public service and the satisfaction of the people in the management of e-ID card in the district town Waingapu. The purpose of research is to determine the public service and community satisfaction in the management of e-ID card in the district town Waingapu. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires and observation. Data were analyzed using quantitative data analysis techniques supported by questionnaire. The results of the study can be said that the public service and the satisfaction of the people in the management of e-ID card in the district town Waingapu eastern Sumba has been going well.Keywords: Public Service, Local Community, Public Policy
