Abstract

Menurut ajaran agama Hindu, agar manusia bisa mencapai kebahagaiaan maka salah satu cara yang ditempuh adalah menjaga keharmonisan terhadap lingkungan. Manusia dan lingkungan adalah dua subjek yang saling membutuhkan. Kehidupan manusia bisa berlangsung tergantung pada keadaan tumbuhan dan kelestarian tumbuhan berada di tangan manusia. Namun, faktanya kerusakan lingkungan sudah semakin parah dan ironisnya manusia adalah sebagai aktor utama dari kerusakan lingkungan tersebut. Oleh karena itu perlu pembentukan generasi berliterasi lingkungan untuk menjaga keajagean lingkungan. Pembentukan jiwa literasi lingkungan sebaiknya dimulai sejak anak berusia dini. Peran keluarga untuk membentuk anak berliterasi lingkungan sangatlah besar. Agar proses pembentukan jiwa literasi lingkungan berjalan optimal, maka diperlukan sebuah desain keluarga berwawasan lingkungan yaitu Eco-family. Eco-family adalah sebuah konsep keluarga yang memiliki sikap peduli lingkungan yang diwujudkan dalam tindakan sehari-hari. Penanaman nilai literasi lingkungan terhadap anak usia dini melalui konsep Eco-family diutamakan pada dimensi sikap. Kata kunci : literasi, lingkungan, anak, eco-family Abstract According to Hinduism, humans achieve happiness through several methods, one of them is to maintain the harmonywith environment. Humans and the environment are two subjects who demand each other. Human life depends on the state of plants and the preservation of plants by humans. However, the fact is, decaying of environment is getting worse and, ironically, humans are the main actors of the damage. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a generation with environment literacy to maintain environment stability. The formation of environment literacy spirit should start from early childhood. The role of the family to form children with environment literacy is enormous. In order to build spirit of environment literacy optimally, it is necessary to have a conception of environmental design on family: Eco-family. Eco-family is a family concept that has an environment caring attitude which is manifested in daily actions. Planting the value of environment literacy on early childhood through the concept of Eco-family takes precedence on the dimensions of attitude.Keywords: literacy, environment, children, eco-family

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kurang gizi kronis yang disebabkan asupan gizi yang kurang dalam waktu lama sebagai akibat pemberian makanan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian experimental dengan pre test post test two group design, dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai Ferbuari 2020 di Kecamatan yang berada pada daerah pesisir Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah nenek pengasuh balita stunting (usia balita 36 bulan) oleh tenaga kesehatan, bisa baca tulis, balita dengan orang tua bekerja di luar daerah yaitu sebanyak 69 nenek pengasuh dan balita yang diasuhnya. Menggunakan simple random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian 42 nenek pengasuh dan 42 balita yang diasuhnya. Penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi untuk mengukur berat badan dan tinggi badan anak sebelum dan sesudah pendidikan kesehatan. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengukur data sosiodemografi nenek pengasuh yang meliputi umur, pendidikan terakhir, makanan yang diberikan kepada balita. Leaflet dibagikan kepada nenek pengasuh sebagai alat bantu selama pendidikan kesehatan tentang pencegahan stunting berlangsung. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan wilcoxon match paired test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa P value (0,00) < α (0,05) artinya ada perubahan atau kenaikan berat badan dan tinggi badan anak usia 36 bulan sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan tentang pencegahan stunting yang diberikan kepada nenek pengasuh efektif untuk meningkatkan berat dan tinggi badan anak usia 36 bulan di aderah pesisir Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur

Abstract

The low consumption of fruits and vegetables in preschool children can cause chronic diseases, lower immunity and digestive disorders in preschool children. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of effective communication on fruit and vegetable consumption of preschool children based on the transtheoritical model. This is a research with a quasi-experimental design. The measuring instrument used in the study is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The questionnaire contains the daily consumption of fruits and vegetables, a checklist of effective communication steps for mothers, questionnaires for pre-countemplation, countemplation, preparation, action, maintenance stages. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The sample in the study was 15 people. Data analysis used the Independent Sample T Test. The results showed that the average obtained was 3.82. The pre-test post-test gain value on Equal Variences assumed obtained a significance value of 0.003 (<0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the mean pre-test post-test so that there is a positive effect of the intervention on daily fruit and vegetable consumption. Table 4 above informs that all respondents (100%) entered the pre-countemplation stage, as many as 14 respondents (93.3%) went through the countemplation, preparation and action stages, and only 13 respondents (86.6%) reached the stage maintenance because 1 respondent (6.6%) had a relapse. The conclusion of this study is that effective communication affects vegetable consumption and preschool children based on the transtheoritical model.

Abstract

Usia dini merupakan usia emas bagi anak untuk belajar bahasa, tanpa mengabaikan perkembangan aspek-aspek lainnya yang sangat penting dalam kehidupannya. Kemampuan berbahasa dan berkomunikasi merupakan kebutuhan dan merupakan hal esensial untuk awal proses di sekolah. Keterampilan mendengarkan adalah keterampilan pertama dan paling dasar yang dikembangkan oleh pembelajar bahasa, baik dalam belajar bahasa pertama, bahasa kedua maupun bahasa asing. Metode TPR dapat memotivasi anak untuk tertarik belajar bahasa Inggris terutama melatih kemampuan mendengar (listening) karena metode ini sangat menghibur mereka dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran di kelas dan membantu pemahaman anak usia dini terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris secara efektif. Beberapa teknik atau aktivitas yang dapat digunakan untuk melatih kemampuan anak usia dini dalam mendengarkan bahasa Inggris yaitu imperative drill, action songs dan using flash cards.Kata kunci : Total Physical Response, Kemampuan Mendengarkan, Pendidilan Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Accreditation on PAUD Unit is an activity to assess the feasibility of programs and units based on eight national education standards in this case referring to Permendikbud number 137 of 2014 concerning national standards for early childhood education, accredited PAUD Units are expected to improve their quality, therefore the results of PAUD accreditation activities It needs to be analyzed and it must be useful to recommend improvements for local governments in the context of fostering the unit, while the objectives of this study are (1) how to analyze the achievement of accreditation standards in regencies / cities in Banten Province and (2) how the results of accreditation are utilized by the government regions at the district / city level in determining policies and programs. The research method used was meta-analysis using primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from interviews with the Chairperson of the PAUD and PNF National Accreditation Board in Banten Province. Secondary data sourced from the PAUD and PNF National Accreditation Board website, Education Data Reference Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as official laws and regulations, and related study results. The results showed that: (1) the highest average achievement of PAUD accreditation results in Banten Province in 2019 was the highest in the educational assessment standard of 91.04%, while the lowest average achievement in the content standard was 60.80% and (2) the results of accreditation have not yet been fully followed up by local governments at the district / city level.

Abstract

AbstractThe curriculum is an important foundation in the learning process at RA Baiturrahman Bima Cirebon which starts from planning to assessment. Curriculum development tailored to the needs of society and child-oriented. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation development of the 2013 curriculum. The method used in this study used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this study used observation to see firsthand the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, interviews to obtain more valid information, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this observation is using the data reduction model of Miles and Huberman in order to retrieve the actual data and this research uses the triangluation technique to test the validity of the data that has been obtained.

Abstract

Parents always want their children to grow into smart children, for that parents make various efforts to realize the desire, such as adding hours to learn children, also choose the best school according to parents. In fact, not all of these efforts have achieved maximum results, there are still children who experience slow learning, lack of fighting power, no discipline to run their daily activities, and so forth. It is important to obtain a child’s readiness profile, one of which is by screening methods. In this research we will describe a screening method that takes one of the asanas yoga movements namely the namaskar solar movement. This movement involves aspects of basic observations in children, including balance, knee strength, and neck as an indicator of the form of motion control, emotion and communication of children.Keywords: Yoga Asanas, Surya Namaskar, Screening, Early Childhood EducationAbstrakOrang tua senantiasa ingin agar anaknya tumbuh menjadi anak yang cerdas, untuk itu orangtua melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mewujudkan keinginan tersebut, seperti menambah jam belajar anak, juga memilihkan sekolah yang terbaik menurut orang tua. Faktanya tidak semua usaha tersebut memperoleh hasil yang maksimal, masih terdapat anak yang mengalami lambat belajar, kurang memiliki daya juang, tidak disiplin menjalankan aktivitas harian mereka, dan sebagainya. Penting sekali memperoleh profil kesiapan belajar anak, salah satunya dengan melakukan metode penapisan. Pada penelitian ini akan diuraikan sebuah metode penapisan yang mengambil salah satu gerakan yoga asanas yakni gerakan surya namaskar. Gerakan ini melibatkan aspek-aspek observasi mendasar pada anak, meliputi keseimbangan, kekuatan lutut, serta leher sebagai indicator bentuk kendali gerak, emosi dan komunikasi anak. Abstract

Childhood is a very important and valuable phase and is the period of formation in the period of human formation. Early childhood is often viewed as a golden age for education providers. The golden age of the child is a very fundamental phase for the development of the individual because in this phase there are great opportunities for the formation and development of a person. So great the role of parents in the formation of character and child development, it is natural if parents need to apply a balanced parenting (authoritative) in children, not authoritarian parenting or permissive.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Discipline is a behavior that is based on obedience and compliance of the rules which apply at home, at the surrounding environment and the community in general. Discipline is grounded on a healthy and dynamic relationship between parenst and children. The first thing a parent must do before applying discipline to a child is to recognize the child as a whole. According to Soetjiningsih, the Effective Discipline Criteria for Early Childhood are: 1) Children feel it means or is important to themselves, 2) Obeyed and carried out with enthusiasm, 3) Effective for the long term, 4) Teaching life skills and valuable social skills for good characters (respect, care for others, be able to solve problems, like to work together), 5) Helping children to develop the belief that they have abilities. The importance of improving discipline behavior in the new normal era, specifically focused on how to educate early childhood to obey the new orders applies in the society. As the example, children are taught to keep their distance when traveling, washing hand or wearing hand sanitizer before and after holding something, always wear a mask when they are in public area and not to have physical touch with others. New rules during the covid-19 period bring an impact on the new lifestyle that prevailed in the general population. It becomes an important task for parents to provide understanding to children through discipline behavior that is applied starting from home. The most important thing in instilling and applying discipline in children is the creation of a warm (close)and loving relationship, also good communication between parents and children. By creating a good relationship, parents will be more easily to explain which things are allowed and should not be done by children, or which are good or not good for them. Avoid any unnecessary punishments, especially in the form of physical uses or unreasonable threats.

Abstract

Hindus believe that life is overwhelmed and overcome by mantras. All beings are governed by a mantra, whether a farmer or a king. The mantra is composed using certain characters and arranged in such a way as to form a sound form, while the letters are the symbol of the sound. The mantra is described as a very subtle form or a subtle body of something, eternal and is an indestructible formula and is the origin of all non-eternal forms. Mantra can be sattvam, rajas, and tamas according to human character. Mantra can be given to young children to form the foundation of their lives. Teaching by using mantras in early childhood can be done by getting used to recite mantras when beginning and ending lessons, greetings when meeting with older people and others. The mantra taught is short and in the form of sattvam spells, which participate in building the children’s mental and character.
