Abstract

This article aims to read visual signs and verbal signs by utilizing the children's drawings during the pre-schematic stage. The reading of the signs will be used to describe the elements of fine arts in the children's drawing.  Four works of kindergarten children were chosen and observed. The four works are entitled "Mother", "Brother", "Zoo" and "Tree". These have been selected as the subjects of the study. These four works were chosen because these works were created by using different media, such as pencil on paper, watercolors on paper, and digital media. The object of this study is focused on visual analysis of the children's drawings on the elements of art, such as points, lines, shape, spaces, and colors. The pre-schematic stage is characterized by the appearance of circular images with lines that seem to indicate human or animal figures. During this stage, the scheme (the visual idea) is developed. The drawing shows what the child considers most important about the subject. There is a little understanding of space - objects are placed randomly throughout the image. The use of color is more emotional than logical. The elements of fine art are shown in the drawings can be described as the result of the observation 1) The lines have been controlled so has formed the image. 2) The shape of the object described has been identified as representing the object that the child wants to describe. 3) The colors used to fill the shapes are based on the child's imagination and desires except the color used to fill the shape of the tree.  The colors of nature are the same as in real life, such as green leaves, blue sky, and green grass. In general, the image or drawing presented by the child is an illustration

Abstract

Pembelajaran kontekstual bertujuan membantu peserta didik melihat makna dalam bahan pelajaran yang dipelajari dengan cara menghubungkannya pada konteks kehidupan sehari-hari, yaitu dengan konteks lingkungan pribadi, agama, sosial dan budaya. untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka pembelajaran kontektual akan menuntun peserta didik melakukan kegiatan yang bermakna, mengatur cara belajar sendiri, bekerja sama, berpikir kritis dan kreatif.Untuk menerapkan pembelajaran kontekstual dalam belajar terlebih dahulu harus memahami dasar teori pembelajaran kontekstual, karakteristik pembelajaran kontekstual, dan komponen- komponen apa saja yang terkandung dalam pembelajaran kontekstual. Dengan hal tersebut baru akan dipahami bagaimana cara menerapkan pembelajaran kontekstual dalam belajar agar proses pembelajaran menjadi baik sesuai apa yang ingin dicapai oleh seorang pengajar.Kata kunci : Pendekatan kontekstual, Belajar .  Contextual learning aims to help students see meaning in the learning material learned by connecting it to the context of everyday life, namely in the context of personal, religious, socialand cultural environments. to achieve this goal, contextual learning will guide students to carry out meaningful activities, organize their own learning, work together, think critically and creatively.To apply contextual learning in learning must first understand the basic contextual learning theory, the characteristics of contextual learning, and what components are contained in contextual learning. With this, it will be understood how to apply contextual learning in learning so that the learning process becomes good according to what the teacher wants to achieve. Keywords: contextual approach, learning.

Abstract

This research will be a descriptive study with qualitative data analysis about Early childhood’s drawing according to Children’s art development by Victor. The objectives of this study include; (1) to find out the visual element of early childhood’s drawing (2) to find out the aesthetic value of early childhood’s drawing. (3) to find out early childhood’s drawing according to children’s art development theory by Victor. The data collection techniques in this study include; (1) observation, (2) Interview, (3) Documentation, with qualitative and quantitative data analysis of Mile and Huberman which includes; (1) Data reduction, (2) Data presentation, and (3) Conclusion.

Abstract

AbstractEarly Childhood Education is an early education that facilitates children to get the right stimulation, guidance, nurturing, and learning so that the child's abilities and skills can develop optimally. Teachers play a role in stimulating the quality care and education that early childhood needs. When the teacher provides education and develops the character of the child, the teacher needs confidence in his or her abilities called self-efficacy. Self-efficacy refers to an individual's belief that he is capable of performing tasks, in this case the higher his or her efficacy the more confident or confident he is able to achieve success. This research method is a literature study that examines scientific literature related to the role of teacher efficacy in Early Childhood Education. Based on literature studies, teacher self-efficacy can be used to develop teacher innovation behavior in their work. Teachers with higher self-efficacy showed a higher level of innovation behavior. By building the teacher's self-efficacy, it will affect the teacher's confidence when doing teaching objectives, preparing teaching materials, class interaction patterns, roles, classroom practices and others.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan ini artikel ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana stimulasi membaca permulaan untuk anak usia dini. Membaca permulaan merupakan salah satu aspek pengembangan bahasa yang penting bagi anak usia dini. Tidak dipungkiri banyak terjadi perdebatan tentang apakah anak usia dini boleh diajarkan membaca. Permasalahan sebenarnya bukan terletak pada boleh atau tidaknya diberikan, tapi lebih kepada kesiapan anak dan bagaimana cara memberikannya. Membaca permulaan yang merupakan sebuah pengenalan yang diberikan kepada anak usia dini, khususnya yang telah memiliki kesiapan membaca bertujuan untuk memberikan dasar-dasar mekanisme membaca, seperti kemampuan mengasosiasikan huruf dengan bunyi-bunyi bahasa yang diwakilinya, melatih gerakan bola mata, dan kesiapan visual serta auditori anak. Sesuai dengan dunia anak yaitu bermain, maka kegiatan membaca permulaan pun seharusnya diberikan melalui bermain. Bermain memberikan anak rasa senang, kebebasan, dan kepuasan. Permainan yang menarik dan melibatkan huruf ataupun kata-kata akan merangsang anak untuk memiliki kemampuan membaca permulaan. Abstract

Abstrak Kualitas mutu Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dapat diukur melalui mekanisme akreditasi. Pelaksanaan akreditasi dapat terwujud apabila ada kepedulian dari pengelola untuk mengajuakan akreditasi lembaganya. Banyaknya Lembaga PAUD yang belum terakreditasi menjadi masalah tersendiri dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Papua Barat. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan pengaruh sosialisasi dan pendampingan akreditasi terhadap motivasi akreditasi pengelola PAUD di Provinsi Papua Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi 931 lembaga dan diambil sampel sebanyak 150 sampel lembaga. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel dengan Teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan menggunakan data skunder dari BAN Provinsi Papua Barat berupa arsip nilai akreditasi lembaga. Analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara sosialisasi dan pendampingan terhadap motivasi akreditasi pengelola PAUD. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah semakin besar rutin dilakukan sosialisasi dan pendampingan maka akan semakin banyak Lembaga yang mengusulkan akreditasi dan sebaliknya. Kata kunci: Sosialisasi, Pendampingan, Motivasi Akreditasi Abstract The quality of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) can be measured through an accreditation mechanism. The implementation of accreditation can be realized if there is concern from the manager to apply for the accreditation of the institution. The number of PAUD institutions that have not been accredited has become a problem in efforts to improve the quality of education in West Papua. The research aims to find out and prove the effect of socialization and accreditation assistance on the motivation of PAUD management accreditation in West Papua Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with a population of 931 institutions and a sample of 150 institutional samples. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using secondary data from BAN West Papua Province in the form of an archive of accreditation scores for institutions. Data analysis used multiple regression with a confidence level of 95%. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect between socialization and mentoring on the motivation of PAUD management accreditation. The conclusion obtained is that the greater the routine socialization and assistance, the more institutions will propose accreditation and vice versa.

Abstract

Abstract Murals are one of the alternative media for street visual art / street visual art that functions as a forum for people's aspirations through paintings. The attractiveness of art gives a strong impression, in line with visual communication theory which assumes that the use of art in educational media is very important. One of these forms of art is a mural. The purpose and function of the mural itself is still developing today. The making of murals in early childhood schools is basically a form of utilizing empty space by incorporating educational missions, such as: as a medium for recognizing local cultural values (folklore). Because through folklore, it indirectly represents the social reality that is around us. Thus basically the implicit function of making murals in empty spaces in early childhood schools is to train students' sensitivity.The environment is a factor that can affect a child's imagination. By placing murals on the walls of early childhood schools, apart from functioning as decoration, indirectly has the function of stimulating children's sensitivity to visuals. This visual sensitivity indirectly develops children's imagination. Thus, murals can stimulate the imaginary environment or imaginary world of children that penetrate the developer of their imagination. Art will always develop, which will be the source of ideas in the process of its creation. Like children who are inspired by murals in creating their works. Seeing this, students will be more open and sensitive to the environment around us so that new ideas will emerge fresh and close to us as a source of ideas for creating works.

Abstract

AbstractHave we become inspirational teachers? Why should be an inspirational teacher? Have our students answered “Master is inspiration” when someone asks “children, what do you think about your teacher?” Good teachers who inspire teachers for learners, for example, advice, build learners to learn fun not stress and children are not afraid. Professional teachers should be able to educate children to be brave. Learning resources, all sources either in the form of data, people and certain forms that can be driven learners. Inspiration is interpreted with creative ideas that arise from within the self after an external stimulus. Therefore, teachers should be able to become “stimulants” for their students, inspiring for inspiration so that children can always be encouraged to bring up ideas, ideas, thoughts, actions, values, and positive creativity. Learning is the most priority activity in school activities. In the learning activities, the teacher is like a captain who controls the pace of the learning process in the classroom. In this learning process, teachers are required to be able to plan, design and implement approach / learning model using the method until the proper learnin media. The principles of APE are principles of productivity, creativity, activity, effective and efficient, and interesting and fun. From a material perspective, APE must be able to develop thinking power (cognition), rapid power, language, motor and skill aspects. Guru profesional harus dapat mendidik anak menjadi berani. Sumber belajar, semua sumber baik berupa data, orang dan wujud tertentu yang dapat digerak peserta didik. Inspirasi dimaknai dengan gagasan-gagasan kreatif yang muncul dari dalam diri setelah ada rangsangan dari luar. Maka dari itu, guru harus bisa menjadi “perangsang” bagi siswanya, memberi inspirasi demi inspirasi agar anak senantiasa dapat terdorong untuk memunculkan ide, gagasan, pemikiran, tindakan, nilai, hingga kretifitas yang positif. Belajar merupakan kegiatan paling prioritas dalam aktifitas di sekolah. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, guru bagaikan nahkoda yang mengontrol laju proses pembelajaran di kelas. Dalam proses pembelajaran ini, guru dituntut untuk bisa merencanakan, merancang hingga melaksanakan pendekatan/model pembelajaran menggunakan metode hingga media pembelajaran yang tepat.

Abstract

The thing which very important in the world is education. It is a very important aspect given from childhood to adulthood. In short, education is required by various groups and continue to the long period of time. These days many people are given the information related to character education. Because of character education is important to be applied. Many things that can be used as an intermediary in delivering aspects of character education. One of them is a traditional Balinese song. Balinese traditional songs have been selected as a medium of communication in the delivery of character education because in traditional songs contained lyrics which are full of meaning and moral values. Traditional songs in Bali have existed since immemorial time and without the author’s name, so people who make the lyrics to this song can be our ancestors by inserting moral values and education that we can enjoy today. One of the famous traditional songs in Bali is CeningAyu. In the lyrics of CeningAyu, there are some moral values and education including the value of responsibility, child compliance, and obedience to the commands of parents.

Abstract

Orang tua dari anak dengan gangguan autisme menghadapi banyak tantangan dan beban psikologis yang dapat menyebabkan stres dan depresi sehingga mempengaruhi kualitas pengasuhan yang diberikan. Parenting self-efficacy yang tinggi dapat membantu mengatasi stressor yang muncul terkait pengasuhan. Parenting education dalam bentuk psikoedukasi dapat digunakan untuk membentuk dan meningkatkan parenting self-efficacy karena dapat membentuk atau mengubah persepsidan meningkatkan aspek kognitif atau pemahaman orang tua mengenai strategi penanganan anak dengan gangguan autisme. Kata Kunci: Parenting education, parenting self-efficacy, pengasuhan anak autis Abstract Parents of children with autism disorder faces many challenges and psychological burdens which can cause stress and depression that can affect parenting quality given to the children. Hence, the ideal amount of parenting self-efficacy is needed in order to overcome stressors related to parenting. Parenting education in a form of psychoeducation can be used to create and improve parenting self-efficacy by establishing/intensifying perceptions and increasing the parent’s cognitive or understanding regarding parenting strategy of children with autism disorder. Keywords: Parenting education, parenting self-efficacy, children with autism
