Abstract

Konsep diri adalah gambaran seseorang berdasarkan pengetahuan, pengharapan dan penilaiannya tentang dirinya sendiri melalui berbagai pengalaman yang dialaminya. Perkembangan konsep diri yang dipelajari manusia sejak kanak-kanak akan mengantarkannya kepada aktualisasi diri sebagai wujud eksistensi dirinya di kehidupan bermasyarakat. Pengalaman pertama kehidupan anak terjadi di dalam keluarga. Interaksi antar anggota keluarga mempengaruhi cara pandang seseorang terhadap dirinya dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Bentuk komunikasiyang beragam memberikan kekayaan pengalaman dalam membentuk konsep diri positif atau negative. Kata kunci : konsep diri, komunikasi, keluarga, anak usia dini Abstract. Self-concept is a picture of a person based on his/her knowledge, expectation and judgment about him/herself through the various experiences. The development of self-concept that a person learn from childhood will lead them to self-actualization as a manifestation of their existence in social life. Abstract

Early childhood has a unique personality. Children have a high curiosity, and become good imitators in their daily life through stimulus with their senses. It indicates the child's growth and development normally. One of them is the ability to speak from their birth as a communication tool. The first language of a child is the mother language or language used daily in the family and also the surrounding environment. As their development, children gain knowledge using second, third language, and so on. A second language acquisition in children will be more effective by using learning media. The media is used to deliver messages from the sender to the addressee so that it stimulates the child's thoughts, feelings and attention. In terms of the second language acquisition of the child, appropriate media for children's effectiveness in achieving language acquisition are grouped into three major groups, namely: 1) Visual Media, 2) Audio Media, and 3) Audiovisual Media. Visual media are media in the form of images and tend to use the sense of sight, be it unmoved object or miniature object. While audio media is a media that relies on children’s additives (hearing). Audiovisual media is a combination of visual media and audio media which is better known as video. This learning media is able to stimulate children’s stimulus in acquiring a second language significantly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine children's moral development, the implementation of audio-visual media and to determine the effect of audio-visual media on children's morale in RA Hj. Fauziah, Binjai Timur District, Binjai City. The research conducted is quantitative in nature. In quantitative research, generally the data obtained is in the form of numbers or scores that are combined after taking the score through a questionnaire distributed to the research sample. Henceforth, these numbers are tested with numbers that become the second variable so that there will be a final number or score that can determine whether there is a relationship between the two variables that influence each other or not. The type of statistic used is the Product Moment Person Correlation statistic, which is to determine the effect of audio-visual media on children's morale in group B at RA Hj. Fauziah, Binjai Timur District, Binjai City. The population in this study were RA Hj students. Fauziah, Binjai Timur District, Binjai City in the 2020/2021 school year, totaling 63 people consisting of 38 male students and 25 female students. The results of the research using audio visual media can be said to be good. This can be proven by the value obtained, namely P = 72.93%. Research on children's morale can be said to be very good. This can be proven by the value obtained, namely P = 80.38%. There is a significant influence between the audio-visual media on children's morals as evidenced by the value of the correlation coefficient (r) which shows the level of correlation between variable X (audio-visual media) and variable Y (children's moral in group B) of r = 0.68 with a level of correlation high. Based on the t statistical test, namely t count = r√ (n-1) the result is 3.18. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between audio-visual media on children's morale in group B in RA Hj. Fauziah Binjai.

Abstract

Tujuan panelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan. Subjek penelitian adalah Kelompok B1 TK Pembina Karangasem Amlapura sebanyak 31 orang. Penelitian dilakukan selama 3 bulan melalui implementasi Media KOPI dengan Strategi KRIPIK. KOPI merupakan akronim dari KO=Kotak, PI=Pintar. KRIPIK merupakan akronim dari K=Kenali, R=Rencanakan, I=Implementasikan, Pi=Penilaian dan K=Kontinyu. Data dikumpulkan dengan hasil pengamatan terhadap kemampuan dan keaktifan anak dan dianalisis dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Indikator keberhasilan rata-rata kemampuan dan keaktifan berada pada kategori B (Baik). Ditemukan bahwa terdapat 2 anak yang kemampuan membaca permulaan berada pada kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan, 22 anak berkategori Mulai Berkembang dan 7 anak ada dalam kategori Belum Berkembang. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Kemampuan membaca permulaan anak belum memenuhi indikator keberhasilan. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan tindak lanjut dengan hasil dari 31 orang anak seluruhnya 3 anak mendapat kategori Mulai Berkembang, 24 anak berkategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan dan 4 anak berkategori Berkembang Sangat Baik. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan dan sudah mencapai ketuntasan.Kata kunci: Media KOPI, Strategi KRIPIK

Abstract

Abstrak Kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat membantu manusia membuat keputusan yang tepat berdasarkan usaha yang cermat, sistematis dan logis. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat diasah dari anak- anak.  Melatih anak berpikir kritis sejak dini memang dimungkinkan, tentu saja dengan mempertimbangkan tahap perkembangannya. Hal itu dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan literasi visual yang merupakan salah satu inti dari kompetensi literasi informasi. Berbagi macam literatur menunjukkan penggunaan visual dalam proses pembelajaran menghasilkan tingkat belajar yang lebih optimal. Literasi visual memiliki peran penting dalam membangun proses kognitif seseorang. Literasi visual membuat pembelajar lebih mudah memahami konsep dan meningkatkan ingatan serta pemanggilan informasi. Kata kunci: Literasi Visual, Berpikir Kritis, Anak Usia Dini Abstract The ability of critical thinking can help people make informed decisions based on a careful, systematic and logical effort. The ability of critical thinking can be honed from children.  Training children think critically early on is possible, of course, taking into consideration the development stage. It can be done by utilizing visual literacy which is one of the core of information literacy competencies. Sharing a variety of literature demonstrates the visual use in the learning process resulting in a more optimal learning level. Visuals play an important role in building one's cognitive processes. Visuals make learners easier to understand concepts and improve memory and calling information.

Abstract

AbstractMedium learning science for early childhood is a tool for exploration and develop scientific values and ability to think logically. Reseach in designed with a qualitative approach. Thi issues to be discussed  between laun (1) How was  the process of implementing independent science learning “Merdeka Belajar” in the early age children at home TK Werdhi Kumara Punggul. (2) Is the tone of chidren aged in the learning era humbled at kindergarten weerdi Kumara Punggul. The aim of this research is to describe learning process, describes the efforts that in the proses teacing of sains at TK Werdi Kumara Punggul. Theory used for analyzing the problem is the constructivist theory of piaget, this research was carried out from Nopember 2020 to February 2021 with research location at TK werdi Kumara Punggul,  Abiansemal, District Badung regency. The research subjects were teachers, children aged 4-5 years which amounted to 5 children. The method used in this  study is qualitative descriptive method. data collection techniques through observation direct  interviews, documentation and literature study data analysis techniques  used analysis and arranged in a description data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions the results of the study sho the process of applying the media learning science “Merdeka Belajar” in earli childhood diera learning at home divided into 3 stages, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation stages, with the learning method used namely telling stories, questios and answere.

Abstract

English is not a compulsory subject in early childhood education (ECD) curriculum in Indonesia. However, practically, many ECD schools implement English language learning which adds value to the existence of the ECD School itself, in addition to the demand of parents. Therefore, many problems arise in the ELT practice in ECD schools, one of which is the problem of the appropriateness of approaches and methods of ELT applied to the young learner. This article aims to promote the English learning approaches in teaching English for young learner (TEYL) that have been presented by Professor Jack C. Richard in his official web page, complemented by methods that can be implemented by ECD school Teachers. Several related studies on the effectiveness of the method are also presented to provide empirical evidence from various contexts. Finally, conclusions and suggestions about TEYL approaches and methods are addressed to readers, especially for ECD practitioners and researchers interested in TEYL.Keywords: Approach, Method, English Languge Teaching, Early Childhood.AbstrakBahasa Inggris merupakan mata pelajaran yang tidak diwajibkan dalam kurikulum PAUD di Indonesia. Namun, dalam praktiknya banyak Sekolah PAUD melaksanakan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang memberikan nilai tambah untuk keberadaan Sekolah PAUD itu sendiri disamping karena adanya permintaan orang tua siswa. Oleh karena itu, banyak permasalahan yang muncul dalam praktiknya di sekolah-sekolah PAUD, salah satunya adalah permasalahan tentang kesesuaian pendekatan dan metode pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang diterapkan untuk AUD. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan kembali pendekatan-pendekatan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk AUD yang telah disampaikan oleh Professor Jack C. Richard pada halaman web-nya, dilengkapi dengan metode-metode yang dapat diimplementasikan oleh Guru PAUD. Beberapa penelitian yang terkait tentang effektivitas dari metode tersebut juga dipaparkan untuk memberikan bukti empiris dari berbagai konteks. Pada bagian akhir, kesimpulan dan saran mengenai mengenai metode ini disampaikan kepada pembaca, terutama dari kalangan praktisi PAUD dan peneliti yang tertarik pada bidang pendidikan Bahasa Inggris untuk Anak Usia Dini.Kata Kunci: Pendekatan, Metode, Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, Anak Usia Dini.

Abstract

Education is an effort to realize the growth of the character of the child (inner strength, character, mind or intellect) and the child’s body to refer to the child’s life in harmony with his world. But in the present era that is full of things that degrade the side of humanism. Education should give birth to the children who have good character, just the contrary gave birth to people who behave badly. Psychological touch is rarely found in education today. It is rooted in the application of education in which there are models and processes without touching the side of humanism itself, so the application of education is only a mere formality. Consequently, children were born intelligently good but spiritually less. Many children are smart, but few have good character. This is where the importance of religious education as a role synergized.

Abstract

The role of the family, especially parents, is very important for the formation of children's character, especially if the character building of children starts at an early age. Family communication is communication that occurs in a family, which is a way for a family member to interact with other members, as well as a forum for forming and developing the values needed as a guide for life. So that children can live their lives while in the community, what happens if a family communication pattern and the behavior of toxic parents mingle in a family will certainly affect the child's development and even the child's health. Poor mental health during childhood can lead to more serious behavioral disorders due to mental and emotional imbalances, as well as poor social life. For that, in communicating with children, mothers and fathers must pay attention to the character of the child, so that communication is effective. Communication must be established as early as possible and based on understanding from the mother-father. Of course, communication that can be carried out is not only limited to conversation, but can also be realized through actions, such as touching, caressing, kissing, caring, and positive words. This research is expected to have a positive effect on parents in choosing parenting styles. In addition, it can provide solutions to overcome toxic parents' behavior

Abstract

Penelitian ini memfokuskan kajian pada penerapan pembelajaran yoga yang dilaksanakan oleh para guru dan siswa. Keseharian dilakukan dengan meditasi dan yoga asana sebelum memulai pembelajaran. Kajian pustaka terkait dengan kecerdasan emosional anak usia dini dan yoga sutra patanjali. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis observasi, pre test dan post test. Melibatkan peserta didik dan guru dari TK Madhu Vidya yang berjumlah 57 anak dan 3 orang guru. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya (1) mengenal bentuk bentuk emosi diri sendiri, (2) meningkatkan kemampuan guru dan peserta didik dalam mengelola emosi dalam diri, (3) membina hubungan dan berkomunikasi dengan orang lain.Kata Kunci: Anak Usia Dini, Kecerdasan Emosional, YogaThis research focuses on the study of the application of yoga learning carried out by teachers and students. Their life is done by meditation and yoga asana before starting learning. The literature review is related to emotional intelligence of early childhood and Yoga Sutra Patanjali. The method in this study used observation analysis, pre test and post test. Involving students and teachers from Madhu Vidya Kindergarten, totaling 57 children and 3 teachers. This study shows that there is (1) recognizing the formof self-emotion, (2) increasing the ability of teachers and students in managing emotions in themselves, (3) building relationships and communicating with others.Keywords: Early Childhood, Emotional Intelligence, Yoga
