Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop an android-based learning media of solar system for elementary school students, particularly in Grade 6. This study is a research and development (R & D). The research and development model used in this study is a 4-D model which is developed by Thiagarajan (1974). There are 4 stages in this model, namely Define, Design, Development and Dissemination. The result of the development of learning media in the form of an android application with the APK format. The assessment score of the material experts reaches an average of 4.38 which means "Very Good". The assessment score of media experts reaches an average of 4.45 which means "Very Good". Individual test results reaches an average of 4.72 which means "Very Good", while the results of field test reaches an average of 4.84 which means "Very Good".

Abstract

This study aims to map the personal competencies of final-year students in the Faculty of Psychology and Education Raden Rahmat Islamic University. This mapping was carried out as an evaluation for the final project guidance activity. This study uses a quantitative approach. Research procedures include preliminary studies, research planning, data collection, data analysis and interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The subjects were 97 of 7th semester student in Faculty of Psychology and Education. Data collection techniques using written tests. Data analysis techniques using simple quantitative analysis. The results showed that the personal competence of Faculty of Psychology and Education students was 17% (16 students) in the very good category, 76% (76 students) in the good category, and 7% (7 students) in the moderate category. For students with sufficient personal competence, it is advisable to use a developmental approach in the final project guidance activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process using a series of media images that can improve the activity and learning outcomes of Indonesian students in class III SD Negeri Rejoyoso in the academic year 2018/2019. This type of research is classroom action research. The design of this study refers to the design of classroom action research according to Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The results showed that the use of a media image series can increase the activity and student learning outcomes. The average overall student activeness in cycle I was 87% and increased student activeness to 89.2% in cycle II. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of series image media can increase the activeness of students in Indonesian subjects class III Elementary School 02 Rejoyoso Bantur 2018/2019 Academic Year. Abstract

This study aims to improve Comprehension Comprehension using Realistic Mathematics Education learning models for first-grade students of SD Negeri 2 Rejoyoso Academic Year 2018/2019. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research, through several stages, namely: 1) planning 2) implementation 3) observation and 4) reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, tests, and field notes. Data analysis techniques used qualitative. This research was carried out in two cycles consisting of 4 meetings, the learning outcomes obtained in the first cycle of the first meeting averaged 74, 75 % of all students, the second meeting of the first cycle average value of 79.68% of all students and student learning outcomes in the second cycle of the first meeting got an average value of 82.11% of all students, the second meeting received an average value of 90, 58% of all students. Based on the research results of the Realistic Mathematics Education teaching model in Mathematics learning can improve the learning outcomes of students of class I of SD Negeri 2 Rejoyoso.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve learning activities and student learning outcomes on plant propagation material through an environmental approach. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The research design used in this study is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model, as many as 2 cycles, consisting of the steps of Planning / Preparation, Implementation (Action), Observation and Reflection. The results of reflection will be the basis for the next cycle. The research subjects in this study were students of class VI A SDN Indrasari 2 Martapura, amounting to 21 people. Data was extracted and collected from observation sheets on learning activities and student learning outcomes tests at the end of the action at each meeting. Data analysis techniques use averages and percentages. The results of this class action research show increased learning activities and learning outcomes of students of class VI A SDN Indrasari 2 Martapura on plant propagation material through environmental approaches increases and is classically complete..

Abstract

Kurangnya penggunaan media pada proses pembelajaran menyebabkan pemahaman siswa sangat rendah terhadap pelajaran yang disampaikan, hal tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa. Salah satu media yang bisa membantu guru untuk mengantarkan pesan pembelajaran yaitu media realia. Media realia adalah semua media nyata di dalam ruang kelas, tetapi dapat digunakan sebagai suatu kegiatan observasi pada lingkungan. Adanya media realia maka siswa akan lebih tertarik dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui (1)Apakah penggunaan media realia berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar pada pembelajaran tematik kelas 1. (2)Seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan media realia terhadap hasil belajar pada pembelajaran tematik kelas 1. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi experiment. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi (angket), test dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menilai aspek kognitif yang mengunakan instrumen berupa test (pre-test dan post-test). Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas 1a dan 1b SDN 1 Kemantren Tahun Ajaran 2019 sejumlah 59 siswa. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu media realia, variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar tematik. Teknik analisis data yang diperoleh kemudian dihitung dengan menggunakan uji prasyarat (uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas) dan uji hipotesis Independent T-test dengan bantuan IBM Statistik v.21. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dari hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran tematik melalui uji prasyarat nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen (media realia) sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar (buku tema). Data yang diperoleh melalui uji hipotesis T-test thitmg sebesar 0,000 dan ttabel 0,206 berarti thitung< ttabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulannya proses belajar dengan menggunakan media realia pada pembelajaran tematik mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pengaruh penggunaan media realia terhadap hasil belajar siswa signifikan yakni sebesar 13.8 atau 19%. Penelitian ini membantu peneliti mengetahui bahwamedia realia adalah salah satu media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Interest in learning for IVB graders at Surodakan Elementary School 2, Trenggalek Regency is less than optimal. This condition is characterized by the presence of students who are less active and busy themselves. So that researchers conduct research to find out how much students interest in following the learning process. To find out the interest in learning students, learning media is used. One of the media used is the media monopoly on ethnic diversity (morasu). The media is adapted to the learning material in class IVB students. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. All problems and results will be explained in detail according to the conditions in the field. The research subjects were IVB graders, which numbered 34 students. To obtain information, researchers as the main instrument will be assisted with supporting instruments, namely observation instruments, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, class IVB students showed greater interest in learning when learning using monopoly media. It can also be a lesson for teachers to be more creative. High interest in learning will give good results for further learning.

Abstract

The Problem that is the focus of the study is the passive learning conditions of students because the teacher explains the material using the old style. The purpose of the study in this study was to describe the improvement in learning outcomes of 5th grade students at Elementary School through the use of experimental methods in water cycle material. This study uses classroom action research. Action research consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research conducted a type of collaborative action research, meaning that the research carried out the research action with help of the observer, namely the 5th grade teacher at Elementary School. Data collection techniques in the study used four types of techniques, namely interviews, observation, field notes, and tests. As for the results of the implementation of learning using the expeimental method has increased from cycle I to cycle II. Student learning outcames have increased from pretest by 37,8% to cycle I by 62,2% and in cycle II shows completeness of 92%.

Abstract

This study developed outdoor science worksheet based local resources in Palaan village (villages assisted by Raden Rahmat Islamic University). This study aimed to investigate: the appropriateness of outdoor science worksheet and the effectiveness of outdoor science worksheet based local resources in Palaan village to improve student’s scientific literacy. This study employing the development model by Borg & Gall. The research procedure consisted of: preliminary study, planning, developing preliminary product, first revision, preliminary field testing, second revision, main field testing, final product revision, and dissemination. A testing used one-group pretest-postest design. The product testing subjects were students of grade V SDN 2 Palaan. The data were collected through structured interview, questionnaires, and tests. The result of this study was an outdoor science worksheet based local resources in Palaan village. This outdoor science worksheet was appropriate to use in the natural science elementary school learning and could improve student’s scientific literacy effectively. So, village’s local resources could be the one of references to develop teaching materials and also improving student’s scientific literacy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application scientific approach to student learning outcomes on the theme 6 of the beauty of class III Elementary School. This research is a pre-experimental study with the research design of the One Group Pretest Posttest. The population in the study were third grade Elementary School students. The research sample was class III students. Data collection techniques using the test method. Learning outcomes before and after the use of the scientific approach can be known to use te test. The test used in the form of multiple choice questions. Data in the study were analyzed using analysis with the help of SPSS 16.00 for windows. Testing the hypothesis to find out the effectivenness of the use scientific approach in the study was conducted by comparing the average learning outcomes before and after being treated. The results of this study indicate that the average value of student learning outcomes after being given better treatment, namely 84,21>53,42. This study can be concluded that the use of a scientific approach is effective on student learning outcomes.
