KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah education contains articles from research and/ or analytical-critical in the field non-formal education specifically edult education study, community education, training and development of human resources, counseling, and community development. The spesification purpose are intended to explore, develop and explain the knowladge of history, philosophy, principles, policies, designs, and technologies that are used and developed in non-formal education services. Abstract

The Malang region, including the city of Batu, is arguably the city of education. Batu City in particular has a natural geographical condition that is still beautiful, but is also one of the areas prone to natural disasters. Exactly in 2021 the city of Batu was hit by flash floods that have killed victims and destroyed houses, damaged public facilities including the impact on learning in schools. With this incident, efforts are needed to educate the community, especially school residents, both educators and students regarding disaster mitigation in schools. The implementation of the Disaster Safe Education School (SPAB) program in schools must always be actively enforced. Through SPAB, all school residents will have a better understanding and know how to safeguard in the event of a natural disaster. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results showed that in the implementation of the Disaster Safe Education School Program (SPAB) in several schools affected by the "Banjir Bandang" natural disaster in Batu City, it was very good, especially educators who had been provided by the disaster mitigation team from BPBD and NU concerned with humanity, which could directly apply to students. In order to find out what handling they should do in the event of a disaster through the dissemination stage which consists of socialization, visualization and also disaster simulation, and there is a monitoring or monitoring stage to see to what extent this program is well conveyed to students, and program evaluation related to measuring the extent of understanding after the implementation of the SPAB program is implemented. Keywords: Disaster Safe Education School Program (SPAB), Disaster Management, Disaster Mitigation

Abstract

The learning element that must be considered is the learning media. One way that teacher can do is to use learning media that can attract children's attention so that the ability to count will accompany it. One of the learning media that can be used is the busy book learning media. The Busy Book is made of flannel with bright and varied colors and is safe for children in daily activities. Learning media that is quite interesting for children, especially at the age of 5-6 years is busy book learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of busy book learning media to improve numeracy skills in early childhood. The research was conducted through experiments to 16 students in Class B. The data was collected through an oral counting test. The data analysis technique was carried out through a difference test with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the students' counting ability before after the implementation of learning using busy book media. These results indicate that the use of innovative learning media is effective in increasing numeracy skills at an early age. Keywords: learning media, innovative learning, counting ability

Abstract

Improving the quality and relevance of education is influenced by several factors. One of them that affects is the quality of the learning process carried out by teachers in the classroom and or at school.. Therefore, a teacher who has high qualifications, competence, and dedication is needed in carrying out his professional duties. However, there are some teachers in Malalak District, Agam Regency who have not tried to develop their profession, and do not even know what PKB is. Observing these findings, lecturers in the Education Administration Department of FIP UNP who are members of the service team provide assistance to solve these various problems. In addition, also accompanying the teacher to conduct Classroom Action Research (CAR). Therefore, it is deemed necessary to assist the service team from the Department of Educational Administration FIP UNP carried out through workshops, focus group discussions (FGD), improvement of classroom learning, and preparation of learning improvement reports in the form of CAR. This PKM will later produce a product for each participant, namely a learning design, proposal, instrument and CAR report. and will also be published in the mass media and will be uploaded on Youtube. Keywords: Continuous Professional Development, Learning, Classroom action research

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of students and tutors who behave less disciplined, this can be seen from the delay in coming during the learning process, as well as students who are busy with their work so that they cannot follow the lesson. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of the study show that there are three preparations that must be made so that the program runs well, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. While the assessment is given full authority to the tutor based on the presence of students. The solution taken by the manager is to provide motivation, approach and a clearer understanding of equality education in order to achieve the program objectives that have been designed.Keywords: Program Implementation, Package C equivalency education.

Abstract

IT-based media creation training at this time is very necessary for teachers to optimize the learning process. The phenomenon in the field of teachers tends to only upload teaching materials, so that sometimes they do not achieve the expected competency targets. This service aims to provide teachers with skills in developing IT-based learning media. The method used in this training is face-to-face and also online and also online via zoom. At the initial stage, face-to-face material is given about the design of IT-based learning media. Introduction of applications for creating IT-based learning media by media lecturers from the Education Technology Study Program. The respondents involved in the training were high school teachers in Pesisir Selatan Regency. The teachers are selected by representatives from high schools in the sub-district with the hope that they can pass on their abilities to other teachers in their schools. The number of respondents in this activity were 35 high school/vocational teachers in Pessel Regency. The implementation of offline and online training has been carried out according to the planned procedure. The offline training stage is carried out at the location, namely SMA N 1 Painan. At this stage the training is carried out by giving an initial presentation to shape students' perceptions of the importance of knowledge about media and digital evaluation. Furthermore, the provision of applications for practice in the form of IT-based media development software. In the final stage, namely practice. Furthermore, at the next stage, training was carried out through zoom meetings for 2 times, namely to strengthen knowledge and also present activities that have been carried out by students. The outputs in this PKM program are teachers who have skills in making digitalization-based teaching materials with a satisfaction level of activity implementation which is 4.54 (scale 1-5). Keywords: Training, learning media, IT-Based, Teacher

Abstract

Strengthening the potential of rural communities, one of which is the government's efforts in developing villages through community empowerment which is packaged in the Village Innovation program, namely an empowerment program to improve the welfare of rural communities through optimizing the use of village funds. The purposes of this paper are: (1) to describe the Independent Village Innovation Program and Inclusive Village, (2) to describe the role of non-formal education in realizing village innovation, (3) a case of community empowerment through social capital-based tourism village management in realizing independent innovation villages. The conclusions are as follows: (1) Realizing independent and dignified village innovations needs to be implemented by institutionalizing innovation with the principles of accountability, transparency, and participation, (2) Profiles of graduates from out-of-school education study programs have competencies that are in accordance with the tasks and competencies required by village assistants by ministry of villages, (3) Synergy between the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration with universities, one of which is non-formal education study programs should be a must in carrying out state responsibilities for the welfare of its people as a whole.Keywords: Non-formal, informal education, village innovation

Abstract

The application of AKM or Minimum Competency Assessment is used to measure students' abilities, one of which is in terms of literacy, which is oriented towards technology-based learning, innovation, and critical reasoning. In the aspect of literacy in the implementation of AKM, it has a contextual nature and is able to solve problems (problem solving) in providing stimulation for students to think critically or critical thinking. The study used a questionnaire quantitative research method presented on a Likert scale with five answer choices, namely strongly agree (SS); agree (S); normal (BS); disagree (TS); strongly disagree (STS). The measuring tool used in reading motivation is the Reading Motivation Questionnaire (RMQ) developed by the author into 7 dimensions, including (a) curiosity, (b) involvement, (c) academic value, (d) competition, (e) recognition. social, (f) regulation of emotions, and (g) freedom from boredom. To measure literacy motivation in junior high school students as the effect of implementing AKM on students. The source of this research is class VIII students at SMP PGRI 2 Wates who follow the AKM as the target school in the Class 4 Teaching Campus activities in 2022. Abstract

This study aims to get an overview of how the Horse Care Training process in the Tourism Village of Ngestirejo, Tanjungsari District, Gunungkidul Regency, using a qualitative approach through the case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out in this study using observation, interviews and documentation related to training activities. The data analysis stage in this study uses three steps, including: 1) data condensation, 2) data display, and 3) conclusion drawing and verification. While the validity of the data in this study using triangulation techniques and persistence in field observations. This study shows that implementation is carried out in five stages; 1) Determination of needs, 2) determination of targets, 3) Determination of Training Materials, 4) implementation of the program and 5) Evaluation of Program Implementation. Outcomes of the Training: 1) The trainees understand and know how to properly care for horses. 2) The trainees know the stages of guiding and riding a horse as a tour. 3) The trainees are motivated and have high enthusiasm in participating in the training.Keywords: implementation, training, horse care, tourist village

Abstract

The diverse conditions of society, both language, religion, and ethnicity, make the Indonesian nation a pluralistic country. This plurality is a nation's potential, but on the other hand it will boomerang that will trigger conflicts everywhere that will harm all parties if they cannot control it. Various conflicts can occur only because of differences in ethnicity, ethnicity, language, religion and culture. In addition, the issue of gender inequality is also one of the problems that exist in our country. There are still many discriminatory treatments against one gender, especially women, such as the opportunity to obtain equal rights in the economy, education, politics and society, the stigma attached to women who can only work in the domestic sphere, treatment of acts of violence, even to the role of woman must bear in order to meet the needs of her life. This paper aims to review the importance of multicultural education and gender equality in overcoming the problem of sociocultural diversity. Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the implementation of character values , 2) barriers to implementing character values , and 3) solutions to overcome obstacles in implementing character education. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) the implementation of character values was carried out to foster social character, mutual respect and respect for students' opinions, interact and help each other, ask questions, explore students' knowledge and experiences, form an attitude of trust with their own abilities, and form a cooperative attitude. in groups, study hard, be polite and courteous. (2) Barriers to the implementation of character values are that there are some students who do not like learning, do not pay attention to the teacher's explanations, have difficulty in memorizing the material, and do not yet understand the character values applied in learning. (3) Solutions to overcome obstacles are carried out by teachers in collaboration with other teachers to provide guidance to students, principals and teachers also provide examples, remind students who commit violations, remind students to obey school rules, enter class on time and pay attention to the material explained. by the teacher.Keywords: Implementation, Social Studies, Character, Values, Thematic
