Abstract

The capital market is a means used by companies to obtain additional funds by trading shares to investors. Stock prices that are too high will make investors reluctant to invest. This is what drives companies to carry out corporate action activities in the form of stock splits. Stock splitting aims to break down a sheet of shares into smaller ones so that stock prices can be more affordable for investors.This study aims to look at the comparison of stock returns by making abnormal returns a measuring tool and trading volume activity for stock liquidity before and after stock splits. The phenomenon in this study was explored by the event study method, using secondary data. The observation period was 10 days before, one day at the time, and 10 days after the stock split. There were 42 companies that conduct stock splits for the 2016-2018period and at the same time were the samples in this study. The hypothesis testing used was the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test with a significance level (α) of 5% and analyzed using SPSS 25.00 software. Stock returns have a significant difference, while stock liquidity does not have a significant difference before and after a stock split. The results of this study are expected to be one of the decision-making tools for investors. In addition, this research can be used as a direction for companies to be careful in carrying out stock split activities.

Abstract

Dayeuhkolot Police Sector Service Center is technically and administratively still faced with limitations. To meet service standards in accordance with Police Chief Skep No.Pol: Kep/22 /VI/2010. This study aims to determine and describe the implementation of the Police Service Center in serving complaints and public reports revealing the factors that influence the task of implementing the Police Service Center and alternative efforts to improve the service of reporting complaints of the community in the Dayeuhkolot police area of ​​the Bandung Police Resort. The research method used is analytical descriptive which describes and analyzes in accordance with what happened to the object of research. The research results show that the Implementation of the Police Service Center in serving and public complaints from the number of reports is relatively high and has not been able to be overcome properly followed by various obstacles such as reports from the community has no clarity (communication), some members of the police are undisciplined, infrastructure means, limited budget and vehicles (resources), there is no clarity from the police regarding reports of loss from the community (disposition), and in receiving reports there are still nonconformities with standards operating procedure.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to determine the combination attributes of women’s clothing that produced the higest customer value indeks and to know the attributees that are the value driver of women/s clothing. This research is quantitative reaseach with using conjoint analysis method, sampling using nonprobability purposive sampling. This Study is based on primary data collected through a survey from 397 women clothing consumer in Indonesia. After that, conjoint analysis was used to estimate the relative importance of women clothing attributes that ware identified in the women consumer and tread-offs made within this attribute set (combination attributes card). Finding participants identified brand, style, retail store, and price that they used to evaluate women clothing. The paper identified attributes of women clothing that are values by women clothing consumers in Indonesia. In this conjoint analysis respondents identified price as having the bigesht relative importance because have a highet consumer value index, followed by retail store, brand, and style. Women clothing are more likely to be purchased by consumer if they are reasonaly priced (under Rp 250.000), have a general brand or easy to find brand, with a comfort style or daily used design, and with branded speciality store with price as a value driver. Suggestion from this study are that the confection industry can make clothes with prices under Rp 250.000 in product development to face competition. Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of preliminary observations of researchers in the field which show that students of Elementary School Teacher Education Study Programs who will carry out field teaching programs (PPL) in Karang Pawulang State Elementary School Bandung are still having difficulty in making good quality planning tools based on the applicable curriculum. This is evidenced by the results of researchers' interviews with two students who were carrying out PPL who said that they still had difficulty in compiling teaching tools such as the annual program (prota), semester program (promissory notes), syllabus, learning implementation plan (RPP) and so on in accordance with material obtained during lectures on teaching planning and based on the demands of the applicable curriculum. In the implementation of learning, prospective teacher students must have made the necessary learning tools but in their implementation there are still some inappropriate components such as planning tools used in schools. Therefore a research about the relationship between the ability to design teaching planning tools in this case in the form of a lesson plan (RPP) with the practice of teaching PPL students in carrying out learning in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative approach while this type of research is correlational. Abstract

This research aims to give recommendation to Telkom University in order to solve conflict about street vendor (PKL), which sells in Telkom University area. In this research combined Graph Model for Conflict Resolution (GMCR) and Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) approach. The combination GMCR and SMART are referred as Graphic Model with Multi-attribute Rating (GMMR). GMMR can quantitatively measure the increase profit by a player when he choose a certain resolution scenario. This research use qualitative method, with data collection method is indepth interview from the interviewees. In this research, they are 4 players, government, street vendors (PKL), LSM GMBI, and YPT. Base on the analysist that has been done, with using GMMR method, we can get the best scenario, scenario 1 which profitable to all the players. And the result form drama theory is 16 dilemmas in existing condition, but the condition can be done with the scenario from GMMR method. The conclusion from this research is the resolution conflict with win-win solution which result happy ending for all players with equilibrium scenario, Yayasan Pendidikan Telkom will provide the place for relocation and not to close the public road, government must be limit the amount of street vendors, LSM GMBI must not demo, and the street vendors must move to the relocation

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis konsep-konsep, definisi-definisi, model-model penelitian, dan pengembangan model dari market driven dan market driving strategy dari beberapa literatur yang telah diimplementasikan pada berbagai perusahaan di dunia dalam rangka mencapai keunggulan bersaing. Permasalahan yang timbul yaitu masih terbatasnya kajian konseptual market driving strategy yang dilakukan oleh para ahli sehingga konsep orientasi pasar masih didominasi oleh pendekatan konsep market driven strategy. Pendekatannya dengan melakukan studi literatur yang mengulas konsep maket driven dan market driving. Artikel ini memaparkan keunggulan konsep market driving yang berbeda dengan market driven dan juga mencoba untuk menguraikan titik kesamaan dan perbedaan konseptual dari market driven dan market driving. Kemudian dijelaskan alasan-alasan perusahaan melakukan strategi market driving dan bagaimana pengembangan ide market driving di dalam tataran praktis. Secara akademis artikel ini 1) berguna untuk pengembangan model konseptual dalam arah penelitian dan wacana penelitian yang dikembangkan; 2) dapat memperjelas perbedaan konsep market driven dengan market driving; 3) membandingkan berbagai keunggulan dan kelemahan konseptual market driven dengan market driving; 4) memberikan pemahaman dan pengertian mendalam tentang konsepsi market driving dan market driven, mengapa dapat menyebabkan peningkatan kinerja organisasi. Bagi para praktisi, 1) menjadi rujukan dalam pengambilan keputusan manajemen; 2) menjadi panduan dalam pengembangan model strategi yang berorientasi pasar; 3) dapat digunakan untuk menyusun langkah-langkah secara praktis dan taktis dalam formulasi strategi menghadapi perubahan lingkungan yang selalu berubah. Abstract

Along with the growth and evolution of internet usage, Electronic Word of Mouth has become an important phenomenon for marketers and consumers alike. Electrononic word of mouth is often found in comments, posts, and likes on social media. eWOM, will affect the views of its consumers, also affect asking consumers for their products. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Electronic Word of Mouth on Nike Instagram on product Brand Image, and its effect on consumer Purchase Intention. This research is a quantitative study with a sample of all people who have seen comments, likes, and submissions about Nike on Instagram. The research instrument used was a questionnaire analyzed using the structural equation modeling method. Electronic Word of Mouth, Brand Image, and Purchase Intention obtain a very good response from respondents. The direct effect of eWOM on Purchase Intention is 56.5% and the effect is indirect, namely through the Brand Image is 15.8%. The effect of Electronic Word of Mouth on Brand Image is 76.5% and the effect of Brand Image on Purchase Intention has a value of 20%. Respondents considered that through a good Nike Brand Image obtained from Electronic Word of Mouth processes, it would be easier for them to have the intention of buying Nike products. Nike is advised to continue to improve Brand Image utilization which is the variable with the highest response for the effectiveness of this process

Abstract

Radio PRFM is one of the radio media that uses citizen information as radio news material. Information citizens are considered effective in collecting, managing, and disseminating the information to audiences. The activities of citizens in conveying this information constitute one of the activities of citizen journalism. This study aims to examine citizen information that became news of citizens in Radio PRFM in the political economy communications perspective Vincent Mosco. This study describes how the news of citizens experiencing commodification of content, commodification of workers and commodification audiences. Similarly, news of citizens experiencing the process of spasiaslisasi to reach the audience by overcoming the barriers of space and time. Economic Theory This communication politics also examines the structure, where PRFM becomes a medium against citizen journalists as (agents) and form audiences (structure). This study uses the Robert K. Yin case study method to generate a description of the findings in a certain time. The findings obtained by this research, radio news using citizen journalism network including low cost but can get big advantage that is audience and advertisement. Radio PRFM uses social media to reach audiences. And PRFM becomes a medium for the formation of social agents (citizen journalism) and to change the structure of audiences as producers and consumers of citizen news.

Abstract

Human behavior in its relation with information is very complex, information seeking behavior is one of the part of it. Information seeking behavior is an activity that started from needs of a person to get informations. In this modern age, the internet is a media that makes information searching easier. Health is one of the type of information that recently has been searched by people on the internet. The purpose of this study are to discover what type of information is most searched, what source of information is often used, what source of information is having the highest level of credibility and trust, and the level of satisfaction of types, sources, credibility and trust in information resources in the health sector on internet according to the people of Bandung City. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive. Respondents of this study are 100 people of Bandung city, using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the type of health information that is most searched on the internet is disease and its treatment with a percentage of 84.75%. The most frequently used source of information to obtain health information on the internet is web sites run by organizations with a percentage of 77 , 25%. The highest source of information that has the highest level of credibility and trust in obtaining health information on the internet is web sites run by organizations with a percentage of 78.5%. Some types and sources of health information on the internet have not met the level of satisfaction while all sources of health information on the internet whose credibility and trustworthiness have been studied have met respondents' satisfaction.

Abstract

Ruang Audio Visual berfungsi sebagai tempat pengajar menyampaikan teori atau materi pembelajaran melalui media audio visual untuk diteruskan ke banyak ruang kelas. Ruang Audio Visual sangat bermanfaat dan efficient digunakan untuk menyampaikan materi kepada audience/pemerhati dalam jumlah banyak dalam waktu bersamaan Ruang Audio Visual yang baik harus dirancang dengan sistem tata ruang dengan kondisi tingkat peredaman/insulasi yang tepat, khususnya dari segi penerapan elemen akustik. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode penelitian kuantitatif, yaitu pengukuran kondisi peredaman ruang melalui perhitungan dan angka-angka yang diperleh dari alat ataupun ukuran lain yang bersifat eksak. Tahapan penelitian ini terdiri atas pengambilan data (data lapangan dan literatur), pengumpulan data (survei dan wawancara, perhitungan di lapangan, serta dokumentasi), dan pengolahan data dengan perhitungan secara manual. Pengukuran dilakukan untuk menilai keandalan akustik khususnya kemampuan meredam suara dalam ruangan dan penerimaan terhadap sumber suara dari luar ruangan. Perhitungan dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Sound Level Meter (SLM), Hasil pengukuran pada ruang dalam keadaan ruangan tertutup dengan kondisi terpasang partisi rangka alumunium 4x11 double gypsum yang dilapis rockwool (tebal 6 cm) dan MDF 4cm) ditambah lapisan elemen akustik/absorber softboard (2cm) dan finishing kain fabric (upholestary), tanpa sumber suara setempat memiliki background noise sekitar 20db. (sunyi bersih tanpa suara). sedangkan jika pengujian diberikan sumber suara di sebelah/salah satu ruang sebesar +60 decibel dalam keadaan ruangan tertutup, hasil pegukura kondisi kuat suara dari background noise yang diterima/terdengar menunjukan angka sekitar 21db (hampir tidak terdengar). Dari hasil eksperimen, dan pengukuran serta analisa yang telah dilakukan maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Ruang audio visual yang dibuat dengan menggunakan; finishing lantai karpet wool 6 mm, ceiling akustik panel 18 mm, serta dinding berupa elemen panel dinding yang terdiri atas; lapisan partisi gypsum 12 mm yang dilengkapi isulasi rockwool 6.cm pada bagian dalamnya, serta dilapisi panel softboard 2cm berikut finishing kain jenis fabric/upholstery serta lapisan penahan softboard berupa panel MDF 4mm mampu meredam suara sebesar +/- 60 decible, sehigga hampir tidak terdengar ke ruang yang berebelahan atau ruang lainnya. Artinya penerapan system akustik tersebut memenuhi/memiliki persyaratan peredaman yang sangat baik untuk sebuah ruangan audio visual.
