Abstract

Entrepreneurial readiness has emerged as a crucial personal capability for university students in facing increasingly competitive labor markets and disruptive economic changes. While financial literacy, creativity, and self-efficacy have been widely identified as determinants of entrepreneurial behavior, limited studies have examined the psychological mechanism of resilience in mediating these relationships, particularly at the pre-startup stage. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, creativity, and self-efficacy on students’ entrepreneurial readiness with resilience as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative explanatory design, survey data was collected from 176 university students interested in entrepreneurship. A structured Likert-scale questionnaire was distributed using purposive sampling, and data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with a Partial Least Squares approach (SEM-PLS). The results reveal that creativity and self-efficacy significantly enhance entrepreneurial readiness, while financial literacy has only a weak effect. In addition, creativity and self-efficacy significantly improve resilience; however, resilience does not influence entrepreneurial readiness and fails to mediate the relationships among the studied variables. These findings indicate that entrepreneurial readiness among students is primarily driven by cognitive creativity and internal belief systems rather than financial knowledge or resilience. The study highlights the need for entrepreneurship education that prioritizes creativity and self-efficacy development before financial or resilience training.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of customer brand love and the mediating role of genuineness of personal branding on consumer loyalty among Gen-Z coffee shop patrons in Mataram City. With Gen-Z prioritizing authenticity and value alignment, the research investigates how emotional connections and perceived brand genuineness shape loyalty in a competitive market. A quantitative approach using structural equation modeling (SEM) with 384 respondents revealed significant direct effects: customer brand love positively influences both genuineness of personal branding and consumer loyalty. Additionally, the genuineness of personal branding directly impacts loyalty. Notably, genuineness of personal branding mediates the relationship between customer brand love and customer loyalty, explaining 30% of the total effect. The findings highlight that authentic personal branding amplifies emotional bonds, which in turn drive loyalty. The study underscores strategies for coffeeshops to foster Gen-Z loyalty by prioritizing transparent communication, experiential engagement, and values-driven narratives. Practical implications emphasize the need for brands to align with Gen-Z’s demand for authenticity to enhance competitiveness.

Abstract

The decision to switch brands in a phenomenon such as the war in Gaza, particularly in Indonesia, can be influenced by a variety of factors, including boycotting Israeli-affiliated products, and consumer knowledge of a product, which becomes the foundation of consumer behavior and thus a driving factor in brand switching decisions. As a result, more research is needed to determine how boycott behavior and consumer understanding affect brand switching. The research was carried out at UBSI Kramat 98 Campus, with 4th semester management study program students from the even years 2024/2025 serving as the research sample. Purposive sampling was employed to recruit 126 participants. This study takes a quantitative approach, utilizing SPSS multiple regression analysis techniques. The findings of this study show that boycott behavior and consumer knowledge have a significant effect on brand switching at the same time, and that boycott behavior has no significant effect on brand switching while consumer knowledge does.

Data analysis used multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that competency and financial compensation had a significant partial and simultaneous effect on employee performance. Furthermore, organizational commitment was found to moderate the influence of competency and financial compensation on employee performance. This study recommends that company leaders improve competency development, fair compensation systems, and strengthen organizational commitment to achieve optimal and sustainable employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic position of STMIK Bina Bangsa Kendari using the Internal Factors Analysis Summary (IFAS) and External Factors Analysis Summary (EFAS) frameworks, which serve as the basis for determining the institution’s placement within the Internal–External (IE) Matrix. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through documentation reviews, structured interviews, and field observations involving institutional leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, and students. The IFAS analysis produced a score of 2.50, indicating a moderate internal condition characterized by strengths in lecturer competencies, curriculum relevance, and the implementation of digital academic systems. However, weaknesses were found in laboratory facilities, administrative processes, and financial dependence. Meanwhile, the EFAS score of 2.60 reflects a reasonably strong response to external opportunities such as digital industry growth, government policies on educational transformation, and technological advancements, despite challenges related to competition and regulatory demands. Synthesizing both scores place the institution in the Hold and Maintain quadrant of the IE Matrix, highlighting the need for internal consolidation before pursuing more aggressive growth strategies.

Abstract

This study develops a comprehensive theoretical framework for energy waqf as a Shariah-compliant fiscal instrument addressing energy poverty and sustainable development challenges. We synthesize Maqasid al-Shariah principles with contemporary development finance theory to integrate traditional waqf mechanisms with modern energy access strategies. Our contribution is threefold: First, we establish theoretical foundations positioning energy waqf within Islamic fiscal theory. Second, we develop a conceptual framework bridging classical fiqh with development finance architecture. Third, we propose a taxonomy of fiscal waqf instruments for energy poverty alleviation. Through systematic literature review and Maqasid-based analysis, the framework addresses critical theoretical tensions. These include perpetuity requirements versus technological obsolescence, charitable mandates versus fiscal sustainability, and Shariah compliance versus commercial viability. This research provides actionable guidance for policymakers and waqf institutions seeking Shariah-compliant pathways toward universal energy access.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green sukuk issuance on economic growth and Islamic financial performance in Indonesia over the period 2018–2023. Specifically, it examines the effect of green sukuk on economic growth, the effect of green sukuk on Islamic financial performance, the indirect effect of green sukuk on Islamic financial performance through economic growth, and the mechanisms through which green sukuk influences both variables. The study employs a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design that combines quantitative and qualitative analyses to obtain a comprehensive and holistic picture. Secondary data are obtained from BPS, OJK, Bank Indonesia, and the DJPPR of the Ministry of Finance for the period 2018–2023, while primary data are collected through semi-structured interviews with five key informants. The research population consists of 15 Islamic financial institutions and government agencies related to green sukuk, with a quantitative sample of 10 institutions selected using stratified random sampling. Quantitative data are analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), whereas qualitative data are analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings show that green sukuk issuance has a positive and significant effect on economic growth and Islamic financial performance. In addition, economic growth is proven to significantly mediate the effect of green sukuk on Islamic financial performance. These results confirm that green sukuk is an effective sharia-compliant financing instrument for promoting sustainable economic growth while simultaneously strengthening the performance of the Islamic financial sector in Indonesia
