Abstract

Arah penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah interpretasi data melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) pada peserta didik kelas V SD N Trangsan I Sukoharjo tahun akademik 2018/2019. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dipilih sebagai jenis penelitian yang digunakan, terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Dalam satu siklus melalui empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan penyempurnaan. Subjek penelitian adalah satu guru dan dua puluh tiga siswa kelas. Menggunakan wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Uji validitas data teknis menggunakan teknik triangulasi dan triagulasi sumber. Analisis data menggunakan teknik interaktif model Miles and Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikan meningkat pada setiap siklus. Dalam pra-tindakan itu adalah 26,02%, kemudian setelah tindakan dengan menerapkan model TTW menjadi 65,22% pada siklus pertama dan meningkat menjadi 82,61% pada siklus kedua. Peningkatan juga terlihat pada rata-rata setiap aspek yang diperoleh. Berdasarkan hasil di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah interpretasi data di kelas V SD N Trangsan I Sukoharjo tahun akademik 2018/2019.

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of this research is to improve reading comprehension skills through application Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, and Review (PQ4R) method to fourth grade students of SD N Geneng 02 Sukoharjo 2018 to 2019 school year. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research that is conducted in three cycles which consists of four stages; planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study are teachers and fourth grade students of SD N Geneng 02 Sukoharjo. The technique of collecting data are observation, interviews, tests, and documentations. The validity test uses triangulation techniques, source triangulation, and content validity. Analysis of the data used in this study is an interactive analysis technique which has four steps. They are collecting data, reduction data, presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the average score of pre-action class scores of 51,41 with 13,64% classical completeness, increased to 61,96 with 34,64% classical completeness in the first cycle and increased to 72,32  with a classical completeness of 63,64% in cycle II, and increased again to 78,52  with a classical completeness of 91,30% in cycle III. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that through the application of the Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, and Review (PQ4R) method can improve reading comprehension skills of fourth grade students of SD N Geneng 02 Sukoharjo in 2018 to 2019 school year.

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of this research was to improve reading comprehension skill by applied CIRC at fourth grade students of  SDN Ngoto at the academic year 2018/2019.This classroom action research is held in two cycles. Each cycles consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques were observation, interview, test and document study. Quantitative data analysis techniques in this research implemented a comparative descriptive technique, and qualitative data analysis techniques implemented a critical analysis technique.The data validity was investigated by content validity and triangulation methods. The improvement can be known from increased number of students who categorized as skilled in reading comprehension in each cycle. The percentage of classical completeness in the pre-action was only 14,29% increased to 40,74% in cycle I and increased to 84,62% in cycle II. The conclusion of this research is the implementation of CIRC model can increase reading comprehension skill at the fourth grade students of  SDN Ngoto at the academic year 2018/2019.       Keywords: Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition, Reading Comprehension Skill, Elementary School.

Abstract

The purpose of the reseach is to improve the skills of presenting data in the form of diagrams through the use of the Problem Based Learning model in fourth grade students of SD N Laweyan No. 54 Surakarta 2018/2019 school year. Classroom Action Research is conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings with four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and fourth grade students, amounting to 34 students. This study uses observational techniques, interviews, documentation, and tests. Data analysis using interactive data analysis with steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data validity test technique uses source triangulation and technical triangulation The results showed that the average score of pre-action class scores of 17.97 with 0% classical completeness increased to 75.88 with 61.76% classical completeness in the first cycle and increased again to 87.25 with a classical completeness of 88.24% in cycle II. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that through the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the skills of presenting data in the form of diagrams in class IV SD N Laweyan No. 54 Surakarta 2018/2019 school year.

Abstract

Abstract. This research is implemented as a recommendation for the other research about problem-solving skills in the division material for grade 2 elementary school students. Division counting operation is basically in a calculation. Actually, counting in operation is often implemented for solving problems. The technique of taking research subjects using purposive sampling technique. The data in this research is collected by some technique such as interview and observation as main techniques, then documentation and test as supporting techniques. The validity of the data used in this study is triangulation by testing the validity of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmation. The analysis of the data used is component analysis. The result of the analysis shows that students in grade 2 have enough skills, this result measured by scoring guidelines that have been consulted by expert lecturers by calculating descriptors that appear on each indicator, this is evident from the emergence of 2 indicators of the total 4 indicators. This is evidenced by two indicators from four indicators used in this research. The two indicators, there are understanding the problem and implementing a plan. While two other there is crosscheck the result and problem-solving process are not yet appeared. It can be concluded that grade 2 students in SDN Tunggulsari 1 No. 72 of the academic year 2018/ 2019 have sufficient problem-solving skills in the division material.                Keywords: analyze, problem solving skills, elementary school, and indicators

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this research is to find out of (1) the differences in explanation text writing skill between students that learned by Think Talk Write learning models and Direct Instruction learning models (2) knowing the differences in students who have high and low learning motivation towards explanation text writing skill (3) the effect interaction of leraning-models and leraning motivation toward explanation text writing skill. The population of the research was all of students grade V SD N in Laweyan District Surakarta City. Grade V SD N Tegalsari and grade V SD N Bumi 1 were selected as the sample through cluster random sampling. This research use experimental method with 2x2 factorial design. Data were collected by means of questionnaire for students learning motivation data and test for the data of students explanation text writing skill. Those data were analyzed with two-way Anava test with different content of cell with level of significance 0,05. The result showed that, (1) there were differences in explanation text writing skill between students who taught by Think Talk Write and Direct Instruction learning model (FA = 4,15 > Ftabel = 4,00) (2) there were difference in explanation text writing skill between students who have high motivation and low motivation (FB = 4,05 > Ftabel = 4,00) (3) there was no effect interaction between the learning-model and learning-motivation toward explanation text writing skill (FAB = 0,41 < Ftabel = 4,00).Keywords : Think Talk Write, Direct Instruction, explanation text writing skill, elementary school

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve social skills in social studies learning through the Team Games Tournament model and implement Team Games Tournament in the social skills of V students in Setono Elementary School no.95. PTK is carried out in two cycles, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri Setono No.95, Laweyan, Surakarta in the Academic Year 2018/2019, which totaled 33 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data uses content validity, source triangulation and technical triangulation. the first cycle of communication aspect score 2.7 increased to 3.05 in the second cycle. Interaction aspects score 2.87 to 3.12 in cycle II. The collaboration score is 2.9 to 3.12 in cycle II. The implementation of TGT in improving social skills includes (a) Class Presentations; (B) group; (c) Games; (d) Tournaments; (e) group awards. It can be concluded that the TGT learning model improves students' social skills in social studies subjects in fifth grade students of SD Negeri Setono No.95 Laweyan, Surakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to improve flexibility and originality thinking skills in Social Sciences lessons through used Structured Numbered Heads learning model for 4th grade of elementary school student at Surakarta on 2018/2019 academic year. The subjects of this research were class teacher and 33 students from 4th grade of elementary school student. The procedure of this research consisted of two cycles, each of that cycles had 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, flexibility and originality thinking skills tests, and document studies technique. Data validity used is content validity and triangulation technique. Data analysis used is interactive analysis (Miles and Huberman models). The results of the research on flexibility thinking skills increased from initial condition was 21,79 (0%) to 66,73 (55%) in the first cycle, 87,30 (82%) in the second cycle. The results of the research on originality thinking skills increased from initial condition was 25,76 (0%) to 69,61 (55%) in the first cycle, 83,39 (82%) in the second cycle. Based on the results of this research, it was concluded that the flexibility and originality thinking skills of 4th grade elementary school students in social science leasson increased after the Structured Numbered Heads learning model was implemented.Keywords: flexibility thinking skills, originality thinking skills, social sciences lessons, Structured Numbered Heads learning model, elementary school

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah soal cerita bangun datar melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR). Model pembelajaran ini dapat melatih peserta didik memecahkan masalah secara mandiri.Penelitian ini berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dua siklus dengan 6 pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas III A SD Negeri Danukusuman Surakarta tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 21 peserta didik. PTK ini terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: 1) perencanaan; 2) pelaksanaan; 3) observasi; dan 4) refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik, dan validitas isi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif.Hasil penelitian tentang pra-tindakan menunjukkan persentase ketuntasan klasikal keterampilan pemecahan masalah sebesar 23,80%. Siklus pertama meningkat menjadi 57,14% secara klasikal dan siklus kedua meningkat menjadi 85,71% secara klasik. Hal tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase kentuntasan klasikal. Maka dari itu, keterampilan pemecahan masalah soal cerita bangun datar dapat meningkat melaui penerapan model pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR).

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to improve the skills of writing interview reports through Think Talk Write Learning Model for fourth grade of SD N Serengan II No. 256 Surakarta Academic year 2018/2019. The technique of collecting data uses observation, tests, interviews and documentation. Test validity of data using content validity and technical triangulation. The data analysis technique used an interactive model consisting of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing.This study is a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were teachers and students, which 31 students. The results showed that the pre-action class average value of 55.65 increased to 74.35 in first cycle, increasing again to 84.44 in second cycle. The number of students in pre-action who achieved KKM was 3 students (9.68%), in the second cycle as many as 20 students (64.52%), and experienced an increase again to as many as 26 students (82.26%) in the cycle II. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: through the Think Talk Write learning model can improve the skills of writing interview reports to fourth grade students of SD N Serengan II No. 256 Surakarta Academic Year 2018/2019.Keywords: Think Talk Write learning model, writing skills, Skills for writing report on interview results, Elementary School
