Abstract

Abstract: This experimentation to get wind with three objectives, the first is to find out influence of the diference poetry writing skill between students that learned by Moody's lerning model and students that learned with Explicit Instruction learning model, the second is to find out influence of the differences in students who have high and low learning motivation towards poetry writing skills, the third is to find out the instraction betwen leaning model along with leaning motivation towards poetry writing skill. Population of study was all fifth grade of SD N in Bendosari region. There are 2 elementary schools as samples of research taken randomly using Cluster Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique of poetry writing skill was test techniques and learning motivation questionaire was non-test techniques in the form of questionaire. The data analysis technique used variance two-way analysis. The significance level used was 0.05. The results of the study showed that there are any effect of the differences in poetry writing skills betwen students who were taugh by Moody's learning model along with students were taugh using Explicit Instruction learning model, there are any effect of the differences in poetry writing skill between students who have high motivation and low motivation, and there is no interaction between learning model along with learning motivation towards poetry writing skill.Keyword : Moody, Explicit Instruction, Learning Motivation, Poetry Writing Skill, Elementary school

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is improving the ability to uses capital letters and punctuation in writing simple essays by applying think talk write model. This research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects of this research were students of the 3th students at SD Negeri Pajang II Surakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year, totalling 27 students. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of interview, observation, tests, and analysis document with data analysis of source triangulation and technique triangulation. The analysis of the data used is the interactive analysis model of Miles-Huberman. The first cycle resulting in a percentage of 66.66% in classical, and the study continued with the second cycle with the percentage of 88.89% in classical terms. Based on the result of the research, it can be conclude that the ability to use capital letters and punctuation in writing simple essays on 3th students of SD Negeri Pajang II Surakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year can be improved through the Think Talk Write model.Keywords: capital letter, punctuation, simple essays, Think Talk Write model

Abstract

The goal of this research is to increase the space building problem solving skill (beam and cube) on the 5th grade student of SDN Tegalrejo No.98 Surakarta by implementing the discovery learning model with the manipulative media. The form of this research is clasroom action research which is conducted in two cycles. Each of the cycle consist of three meeting. The subject of this research is the twenty two of 5th grade students and teacher of class V at SDN Tegalrejo No.98 Surakarta on the academic year of 2018/2019. The collecting data technique used is observation, interview, test, and documentation. The data validity used is triangualation source, and triangulation technique. The obtained data in the classroom action research is analysed by using descriptive statistical analysis technique and interactive analyses Miles and Huberman Model. The result of the research showed that there is increasment of classical completeness start from 0% on the preaction, become 5% on the cycle 1, and 82% on the cycle II.The conclusion of this research is The Implementation of Discovery Learning Model with manipulative media can increase the space building problem solving skill (beam and Cube) on the 5th gradestudent of SDN Tegalrejo No.98 Surakarta on the acadamic year 2018/2019.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to improve student’s creativity on composing dance movement creation of fifth A grade students of  Kleco II Surakarta Elementary School in the academic year 2018/2019 with applied Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning model by regional song media. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted of two cycles. Each cycle was held in two confluences which consistof four activities, they were planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this reasearch was 30 students in class IV A of Kleco II Surakarta Elementary School in the academic year 2018/2019. The data collection consists of interviews, observations, performance tests, and activity documentations. This research used the content validity test with the qualitative data analysis developed by Miles and Huberman. The results of this research show that the student’s creativity on composing dance movement creation after action through Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning model by regional song media. This was proved from the increasing average value of creativity in pre-action as 69,67 to 71,17 in the first cycle and 76,00 in the second cycle. Pre-action data showed classical completeness reached 40%, increased to 46,6% in the first cycle and the second cycle reached 96,55%. The conclusions of this research was the application of  Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning model could improved the student’s creativity on composing dance movement creation of fifth A grade students of  Kleco II Surakarta Elementary School in the academic year 2018/2019.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to improve the student poetry writing skills through the use of Card Sort method. This is an action classroom research that carried out for three cycles. Every cycle consist of two meeting and four steps there are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Technique that used for collect data are observation, interview, test, and documentation. The data validity test technique uses content validity and triangulation. The data analysis technique uses interactive model learning. The result of this research showed that the initial pre-action test score were 62,88 with classical completeness of 23%, increased in the first cycle by 71,8 with classical completeness of 38,46%, then in second cycle it increased to 74,7 with classical completeness of 53,9%, then in third cycle it increased to 76,8 with classical completeness of 80,75%. Referring to the results of this research it can be conclude that the use of Card Sort method can improve the student writing skills in fifth grades students of SDN 2 Ngadirojo Lor Wonogiri academic year 2018/2019.   Keywords: Card Sort, poetry writing skills, Elementary School

Abstract

This research aims to improve Javanese script writing skills for four grade students of Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta Elementary School in 2018/2019 academic year by using Tali Andha Aksara Jawa media. This Classroom Action Research consisted of two cyles with two learning in each cycle. Subject in this research were students and teacher in IV E grade of Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta Elementary School. Research data collection by way of interviews, observations, test, and document analysis. Source triangulation and technical triangulation used for data validity. The data in this research used descriptive comparative analysis techniques and interactive analysis model by Miles and Huberman. Classical completeness of students in initial condition was 8%, in first cycle showed 56%. then in second cycle showed 92%.Keywords: Writing skills, Javanese script, Tali Andha Aksara Jawa, elementary school

Gesti Dias Anspita. PENERAPAN MODEL THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) DENGAN BENDA NYATA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP DASAR PECAHAN PADA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS II SDN JENAR LOR TAHUN AJARAN 2018/2019. Skripsi, Surakarta: Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta, September 2019.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dasar pecahan peserta didik kelas II SDN Jenar Lor Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 melalui penerapan model Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan benda nyata. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Tiap siklus meliputi kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas II SDN Jenar Lor tahun ajaran 2018/2019 dengan banyaknya peserta didik 17 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik uji validitas data yang digunakan adalah validitas isi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik milik Miles dan Huberman, meliputi, pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa saat pratindakan, belum ada peserta didik yang tuntas KKM dengan nilai rerata pratindakan 40,94. Setelah dilaksanakan penelitian siklus I, nilai rerata akhir siklus I menjadi 78,59 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 64,71%. Ketuntasan klasikal tersebut mengalami peningkatan pada pada siklus II menjadi 88,23% dengan nilai rerata 86. Simpulannya, penerapan model Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan benda nyata  dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pecahan pada peserta didik kelas II SDN Jenar Lor tahun ajaran 2018/2019.Kata kunci: pemahaman konsep, pecahan, model think pair share dengan benda nyata, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Abstract.This research aimed to increase the ability to understanding the concept of single and mixed subtance by applying Two Stay Two Stray learning model to all The V grade students of elementary school III Slogohimo Year 2018/2019. The subject of this research is the teacher and the V grade students ofSlogohimo Elementary School Year 2018/2019 which was there 32 students.The technique of data validity was used source and technique triangulation. The result of the data in this research showing that the ability to understand singgle and mixed subtance concept was intereased in each cycles. Preaction show the data 6,35%, in the cycles I show the data clasical completeness result from te class 46,9%, and then 90,6% in cycles II. Based on the description above we can conclude that the applying of Two Stay Two Stray learning model can increase the ability of V grade student III Slogohimo Elementary School Year 2018/2019 to understand the single and mixed subtance concept.Keyword :Two Stay Two Stray, The concept understanding, single and mixed subtance

Abstract

The goals of this research to find out: (1) the different of narrative writing skills between students that teached using Think Talk Write learning model with Example Non Example learning model; (2) differences in narrative writing skills between students who hashigh learning motivation and low learning motivation; (3) the interaction between learning models and learning motivation trough narrative writing skills. This research is quantitative experimental with 2x2 factorial design. The technique to got sample using cluster random sampling. Two WaysAnava was used to analys the data with a significance level of 0.05.The results of thisresearch were (1) there was a different in narrative writing skills between students who teached by Think Talk Write learning model with Example Non Example learning model with FA = 6.259; (2) there was a different in narrative writing skills between the high learning motivation and low learning motivation with FB = 35,688; (3) there is no interaction between the learning model and learning motivation towards narrative writing skills as indicated by FAB = 0.628.             Keyword: think talk write, example non example, narrative writing skills, elementary school

Abstract

Abstract. The research’s aim is improving the skill of narrative writing the 3th grade students in Jenar Lor Elementary School in 2018/2019. This study’s type is class action research that held in two cycles whoose two meeting in every cycle. The subjects of this study were the teacher and 3th grade students of Jenar Lor Elementary School, amounting to 24 students. The data was collected by test, interview, observation and documentation. The data wa analyse by collecting, presentating, reducting and drawing to the conclusion. The conclusion is by applicating Scaffolded Writing model with serial image media can improve the writing skills of 3th grade students in SDN Jenar Lor in academic year 2018/2019.  In addition, the application of the Scaffolded Writing model with serial image media also improve teacher performance in developing learning models and media and encourages students to actively involve the learning activity so the conducive and pleasant learning atmosphere can be created. Keywords: scaffolded writing, drawing series media, narrative writing skills, elementary school
